I loved homestead.com. It was easy to create a website. Now I am clueless. WordPress was helping me move this blog to my own domain by BlueHost, but communication abruptly stopped. Did he go on vacation? Get fired? Drop dead? Just forget about me? Sigh….

Today I have been trying to figure out how to move the old Peace and Carrots stuff to the new domain. I’m also wanting to know how to make a main page, then sub domains. I watched the instructional video and am even more confused. My idea is to have a main page that then points to stuff from our old farm, perhaps Heather’s travels, van living and camping pages, recipes, the blog, etc…..

Heather??? Luke???? Want to help an old lady? I miss Heather! She taught me how to do Homestead, then I learned on my own. My problem now is not having a clue how to start.

Anybody have recommendations of sites to peruse or books to read that will help me along? I have free use of Page Wizard Site Builder as part of BlueHost. Help!!!!!!!

And if you need to send or receive over 750 emails per hour, it is obviously time for you to move out of a shared server and into your own place.

What do I know?  I’m going to make mistakes, make poor decisions or pay for things I don’t need…again.  But that’s how I work.  For the most part, I don’t get upset because I see myself moving forward.  And that’s what important.  That I keep going.  So what if I bought a domain I decided not to use or paid for hosting I didn’t really need.  I like it, the business, like this.  Its flowing.  As long as I don’t get bogged down things will work out as planned. 

Made plans to change my primary domain.  Folks at www.bluehost.com have been very helpful and easy to work with. This is to my original business name, Losovo. The change should be made in the next 24hrs and then I will use that for promoting. Up next, advertising.

Things are going well!  Had such a productive day yesterday and had to tell you about it.

Decided to do my own website on a blog basis.  Did a bit of research as to a good web host as, to be honest, didnt really know where to get started but knew I needed a web host to be able to promote products etc… Found some great information on Rosalind Gardners Super Affiliate Handbook in which she recommends BlueHost.com.

The seem very competitive and a free domain name is included, SO, I joined!

Now have a great website www.lovebeingawoman.net which is in its early days but I am really excited about it.

We moved! And you would never know it!

We’re excited! Our tails are wagging like mad! We have moved our website to our own host. (Ya ya, boring for you, but thrilling for those of us with less exciting lives.) We love WordPress, but there were limitations while they were our host, so with the tremendous help of the staff of EZ Site Move, we were able to make a seamless (to readers) move to BlueHost (a host that gets high marks from everyone we know who uses it).

We can’t say enough good things about EZ Site Move. Brandon, our patient, hardworking tech in Utah, worked with us through all our requests to make the site look exactly as it did on our other host. There’s no way we could have done what he did, even with all four our our master canine minds put together. The process is a bit tricky, and it takes a lot to bring things like photos and formatting over in one piece. If you’re thinking about moving your blog, and you are not a tech genius, it’s worth the investment. (And the investment was nothing compared to the price of sanity.)

This experienced underscored our need for a tech-savvy canine on our staff. If you are one, let us know. The pay is terrible and the benefits nonexistent, unless you count being part of our amazing team and our fantastic website as a benefit. You should. We do.

I just bought a new webhost at BlueHost. It’s my first webhost purchase and I was excited about that. What I did next was to install a WordPress blog and that became a current news blog.

I had learned about Private Registration a while ago but forgot about it, and now I know I want to be safe when im out on the internet, so last night I went and got my Private Registration. I recommend that everyone who owns a domain to get private registration. You don’t want all your personal information out there on the internet for the world to see.
