Šis turėjęs pasirodyti 2010 metais “GranTurismo” modelis arba dar kitaip 8 serija nepamatys robotų ir kreivarankių kaliningrade kurie galėtų jį surinkinėt ir paleisti ant tralo “buržujams” į Rusiija. Greičiau praeitų finansinė krizė ir būtų galima džiaugtis normaliais automobiliais,o ne triviečiais miesto “viešaisiais tualetais”.

BMW Concept CS now shows its futuristic interpretation of a GT sports coupe at the New York International Auto Show will be held in Manhattan, New York City. The concept CS remind you their first public appearance at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2007. The car, bigger than a 7-series, the next style benchmark for BMW, the flame welding at its next level.

With an interior fit for a proper GT, the Concept CS will definitely be built, according to our sources in BMW. Meanwhile, the M3 convertible makes its American debut at the fair. M3 Cabrio fits the same 4.0-liter V8 in the sedan and coupe versions. It speaks 414 hp from its natural aspiration. M DCT, the new double-clutch gearbox was in the M3 convertible. The 7-speed transmission provides for the formation of stars in other BMW products of the near future, especially coming M cars, and the twin-turbo-powered cars.

Eu gostei mais do  Citroën C5-Airscape (1ª foto) e do Renault Laguna (2ª foto), que carros!
Não durariam nem 5 horas aqui no Centro da Cidade, mas que carros !

Só na imaginação mesmo, a não ser que voce vire um político e queira comprar estes carros usando o seu Cartão Senado.

Die Studie BMW CS welche im Frühjahr auf der Shanghai Autoshow vorgestellt wurde soll Wirklichkeit werden.

BMW will bis 2012 ein viertüriges Gran Turismo-Coupé auf den Markt bringen welches sich an dem Concept Car des BMW CS orientiert.

Bis dahin heißt es abwarten und Tee trinken – und natürlich viel Sparen.

Ich freue mich auf das neue Fahrzeug und finde die Studie sehr gelungen und hoffe, daß das Auto der Studie sehr nahe kommt.

“Our dealers, having seen the photos, are very excited,” Purves said. “They love it. If media and dealers like it, there’s a good chance the customers will.”

The CS is “not a stretch or modified anything,” he said, suggesting the car is both realistic and should appeal to mainstream upper luxury buyers. Purves says there have been very few cases of BMW not following a concept car with a production model.

The road-going version of the CS will likely be badged as an 8-Series, according to various reports. Look for BMW to debut the car at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The BMW company has recently announced the program of its development till 2020. According to it, several important novelties will be launched within the next few years. Among them is a solid offroader BMW X1, another crossover – a rival of Mercedes R-Class, and also a large luxuriuous coupe with four doors based on the concept-car BMW CS recently represented at Shanghai autoshow.

Novelties are expected also among other BMW models. For instance, a new compact offroader will be soon added to Mini line. Rolls-Royce is going to output a very expensive coupe based on Phantom and also another, more reasonable model which is expected to compete with Bentley production.

BMW’s CS concept gives us some clues as to where the company will take the design of its next generation of cars. 

Thank God – there might be some light at the end of this long dark tunnel Bangle has driven the company into.

Let’s hope some of the elegance and sense of proportion in this concept makes its way into production BMWs soon.
