Parents (who are eavesdropping) : Oye hoy!!! Toh shaadi pakki! Koi mooh meetha toh karwao!

…which is why you see a lot of clueless married men around.

The observant among you might have noticed that there is a mention of cement in the title of the post. Am i about to make a witty remark on the bond of marriage being like cement? No, I am not. I will talk of JK Cement and that ad of theirs. Which ad? The ad that goes:

Add to that the bit where he says everyone goes through a one-week period between the ages of 5 and 32 where they feel same-sex attraction. If that isn’t a load of rubbish, most readers here (including me) need to be very concerned that we still have a few years to cross !

Atleast one person is sure to vote for him — Baba Ramdev, who agrees that homosexuality is a psychological problem.

After hearing him, I suspect he might not be gay after all, he might be bisexual or metrosexual or just an effeminate dude. Another dudette is Bobby Darling, who has undergone a sex-change operation, is now a female, but calls herself a gay man. How tough is it to log on to Wikipedia and find out what you are ?

I think Rohit Verma deserves to be the Dude of the Week, although I can’t decide between Dude and Dudette, so let’s just put that on hold.

You read that right, men grinding with other men, men throwing (imaginary) notes at other men as if they were at a dance bar, men forcing other men to get up and dance with them and if i saw right, dirty dancing even.

Now that i come to think of it, 9 days after the alcohol of that night had drained itself from my body (replaced with ice cream, vodka and whiskey), they weren’t men. No they weren’t men at all.Try boys.

Yes, boys, probably first timers at a night club. The sort who’re just fresh out of school. In this case probably a school where any term related to the female species was met with immediate expulsion and solid spanking by some emo-male teacher who was hit by his mom, molested by his uncle and has a high pitch voice.

While Trosseau Lady and the sisterbot were ogling with ardent curiousity, yours truly was busy connecting his face to his palm in abject disgust wondering if this would be the fate of men if women ceased to exist.  For those few hours it did seem like it (present company included*).

Did i forget to mention a faux ramp walk, sliding across the floors and general douche baggery that would fit in with a gay bar, which Bootlegger’s is certainly not. Maybe the management was under the Elton John/George Michael/ Bobby Darling Defense Force?

Either way, it’s going to be a cold day in hell before i go back to Bootlegger’s. Unless i start exhibiting tendencies towards chick flicks, sip on pink drinks with umbrellas, walk crooked and proclaim Brokeback Mountain to be my favorite movie. Till then i’ll be having my alcohol elsewhere.

Oh and for those precious few women who aren’t prone to ogling as if they were examining some new species of baboons or rhesus monkeys, you have, on behalf of heterosexual side of man kind, my sincerest apologies.

Apart from Hollywood, she is also doing several Hindi films. She listed down all of them when asked but she is highly excited about the role in ‘Kalpavriksha’. “I am bald in the film with dirty clothes and no footwear as Film is based in the rural set up. It was really challenging,” she says.

Tusshar Kapoor gave better action than his first movies. Ritesh Deshmukh well suited to his character. Neha Duphia played a key role as Karan’s sister. Anupam Kher acted in another comic role.

Dubai : A Dubai court has fined an Indian man who said he was rehearsing for a role in a Bollywood movie for cross-dressing after he was seen applying mascara at a shopping mall, a newspaper reported on Sunday. The court found the 45-year-old property development firm manager identified only as P.K. guilty of cross-dressing in public, the English-language Gulf News said.

“I’m not guilty… I was cross-dressed because I was training to perform a woman’s role in Indian cinema,” the newspaper reported the defendant as telling the public prosecutor. 

Police who apprehended the man said his outfit was glittering like “a woman’s clothes,” and that “he wore a bra, mascara, women’s perfume and a wig” at the Mall of the Emirates, the paper added. 

Well take that Aamir ! But I am a little concerned about the whereabouts of Bobby Darling, for whom the above role was tailor made.

P.S. : The people of Dubai must be so glad he wasn’t rehearsing for the role of a terrorist or serial killer.
