<description><![CDATA[The whole of last week was spent in painstakingly perfecting the basic body blocks with the help of]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The whole of last week was spent in painstakingly perfecting the basic body blocks with the help of my beloved H.J. Armstrong book. I made the pattern pieces a total of 4 times and finally got what i thought was the perfect fit for my body. I used the standard size measurements 10 for everything except the waist and hip, coz my muffin top doesn&#8217;t fit into the standard size . I used personal measurements for those..With the final pattern in hand, i made the test pieces (bodice front, back, sleeves and skirt front and back). I tried it on nervously&#8230;.and&#8230;yay!!!!! I could wear them without having to hold my breath and tuck my tummy in..phew&#8230;thank the galaxy&#8230;i can never sit and make another body block if this hadn&#8217;t fit me&#8230;</p>
<p>This week I&#8217;m making a dress with basic bodice and skirt pattern, except i made the neckline a square and sleeves, elbow length&#8230;will post pics soon..cheers</p>
