Eu já fui muito de acreditar nisso, sabia?
Nessa utopia de que era só fazendo anarquismo e “dando na cara de todo mundo” que se resolveriam os problemas da humanidade. O pior é que se romantiza demais essa história de revolução quando agente é muito jovem.
Eu acredito que a maturidade de alguém muito idealista é quando se consegue ter paz para mudar o seu próprio mundo, ou seja, sua mente. Recentemente eu assisti a dois filmes que me fizeram refletir muito sobre o ideal de um mundo melhor (coisa que eu nem acredito ser possível neste mundo terreno).
De qualquer forma eu acredito que como cristã eu não tenho a obrigação, mas é gerada em mim a necessidade de praticar a justiça. Então eu tenho sede de justiça, sim.
A minha posição sobre o tema é clara, eu queria na realidade era expor a diferença entre uma ideologia madura e “um quebra pau” adolescente. Eu nunca tinha parado para pensar o assunto sobre esse ponto de vista. Mas após assistir dois filminhos da Índia e sobre a Índia (não necessariamente nessa mesma ordem), passei a entender o porquê que não consigo ser ativista política, nem acreditar em anarquismo. Sobre um desses filmes eu até já escrevi aqui e o outro eu assisti em Maceió (lá eu tinha tempo de sobra para pensar). Eles são respectivamente, Ghandi e Rang De Basanti.
Eu assisti primeiro a Rang De Basanti. Como sou apaixonada por Bollywood e nunquinha me imaginei com um DVD vindo diretamente de Mumbai para mim (Oh!) fiquei louca, né? Mas depois que a empolgação passa e o senso crítico se apura (como disse em comentário no Cinema Indiano). O filme tem umas cenas de muito incentivo a violência, sim. Eu entendo que na Índia as pessoas pouco tem se levantado nessa geração contra as injustiças sociais ainda praticadas. Porém, contudo, entretanto… Será que tudo se resolve matando e morrendo por ideais? Foi justamente assistindo Ghandi que eu descobri que o que propõe a ideologia utópica e violenta do primeiro filme pode não ser verdade.
Para revolucionar eu preciso “pôr fogo na terra” e quebrar tudo? Vocês já ouviram falar em pacífica desobediência civil? Não? Assistam a Ghandi.
Detaaalhes Rang De Basanti ( ficção) é quase um movimento social na Índia.(Vide comunidade do orkut, da qual fui expulsa) Ghandi é um mito, fez muito pela história do seu país porém poucos jovens admitem a sua filosofia na terra de marajás, dalits, gente e etc…

Kajol walked out of a story narration given by Aparna Sen, because she wasn’t too happy with the script and concept. Aparna Sen has written a Bengali film called Iti Mrinalini supposedly based on her own life, which is being produced by Venkatesh Films. It’s the story of an aging actress and the script is said to have certain similarities to her life. The director was keen to cast Kajol, as her father was Bengali and felt she would be familiar with the language. She wanted her to play the role of the younger actress while Sen would play the ageing actress.

Kajol excused herself and walked out amidst the narration of the script. Aparna Sen realised that she was not coming back and left the Devgan residence, smarting with humiliation.Then, she had cast her daughter Konkona Sen in the role.

A few years ago, Aparna was to direct Kajol’s husband Ajay Devgan in PNC’s Gulel but that project fell through even though Ajay had liked the script.

Aparna Sen rubbishes the rumour, Absolute rubbish! I never even thought of Kajol for Iti Mrinalini which is a small budget Bengali film where Konkona and I were always supposed to be playing the younger and older age of the same person. Kajol was never even considered! I have never met her.”

Kajol’s spokesperson too maintains, Kajol and Aparna have never met.

Harry Baweja’s launch vehicle for his son Harman, was packed with blue sets, special effects and a robot called QT (who proved to be a better actor than Harman). We saw him dance (Harman that is), we saw him trying to act and we saw Priyanka Chopra in red hair. The film promised to be a sci-fi extravaganza but turned out to be a damp squid. But it cost daddy Harry a whopping 80 crores.

Mumbai, Aug 15(ANI): Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan on Saturday said that he was “angry and humiliated” for being detained at

the Newark International Airport in New Jersey, and asserted that the incident was “absolutely uncalled for”.

“It was absolutely uncalled for I think, me having just finished working there for more than a month, just a couple of weeks ago.

They said I have a common name which is causing the delay, checked my bags…I felt angry and humiliated,” Shahrukh Khan said in a

statement.

Khan further said the US authorities checked all his baggage, including the hand baggage, and did not allow him to make a phone

call for nearly an hour.

“Only these guys just would not let me through. Finally, they allowed me to make a call, which I did and the Indian Consulate

helped me through,” Khan said.

Khan said that he told the authorities of him being a movie star and the reason for visiting the country. But, nothing seemed to

convince the immigration officer, who did not listen to him at all.

“I was really hassled at the American Airport because of my name being Khan. The couple of hours of interrogation wanting to know

if I know anyone in America, while all around people were vouching for me from India and Pakistan,” Khan added.

Khan, who was in US to attend the Independence Day function, was subjected to two-hour-long ordeal at the airport. He was released

after Congress MP Rajiv Shukla spoke to the authorities in the US and the Indian consulate. (ANI)
