And you’re looking for it. You just want to stir up the shiznitz. I know you do. Don’t act all innocent. “Oooh, racism! Let’s fight!” Come on, losers. John McCain isn’t a racist. He’s just very old, and very grumpy, and pissed that he has to be running against Barack Obama instead of Al Gore, when he was younger and had more vim and vigor.

Ezra Klein on “That One”. He’s a big lib and he doesn’t think it was racist, either. So there.

Trying to make a scandal out of nothing at all. McCain has Bill Ayers and Reverend Wright and millions of dollars of laundered oversea money going into the Obama campaign and political endorsements from America’s enemies an ties to the PLO and Hamas and on and on and Obama has . . . a junket. Damning!

I see the debate has also revived interested in “Bomb Bomb Bomb Iran“.

U.S. Representative Ron Paul is a serious Libertarian. He’s all about small government — no foreign wars, no social welfare spending, no federal Department of Education. And while we’re at it, probably no civil rights legislation and no endangered species act either. I guess he’s consistent.

Rep. Paul is a small government conservative in a way that most elected Republicans aren’t. And despite Republican efforts to get his endorsement, he’s also all about no John McCain.

Denver, CO, August, 25th, 2008, (Reuters).- John McCain’s campaign hit back at Madonna on Sunday after the pop diva kicked off her world tour with a concert that bracketed the US presidential candidate with Adolf Hitler and Robert Mugabe.

It all started when pop queen and diva kicked off her “Crunchy and Munchy” world tour in the Decadium Stadium, in Cardiff, UK, showing a video that showed McCain along with pictures of dictators Robert Mugabe and Adolf Hitler, as well as videos of war destruction and global warming. The song played during the video was originally going to be “Material girl”, but it was later changed to “Get Stoopid” to avoid controversy.

McCain, who supports the Iraq war surge, the bomb, bomb, bomb-ing of Iran and the drilling of Alaska and opposes the increase in automobile fuel economy and new taxes on oil companies, said the comparison was completely irrelevant.

“The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time, it makes us want to bomb, bomb, bomb Cardiff, ” McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bombs said in a statement reported by Fox News.

“It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits, including using videos and commercials that compare his rival with people that have nothing to do with US politics.”

The Worldwide Celebrities Union, which is headed by sexy Angelina Jolie, Michael Phelps and Tom Cruise didn’t answer any calls for comments, as they were too busy watching NBC’s delayed transmission of the Beijing closing ceremony.

Cast your vote for the American Idol Presidential Contest. Out of These six politicians who do you think would make the best president based on singing or playing instruments alone…Think the man or woman with the most skill was left out? drop a line and send us a link to that person singing or jamming away.

First up is none other than the Democratic Presidential Nominee, Barack Obama. He will be singing Happy Birthday at a rally in Philadelphia.

Second will be Republican Presidential Nominee singing his contreversal yet utterly hysterical “Bomb Bomb Iran”

Third up is Bill Clinton singing “Imagine All the People” at an Israeli concert with singer Liel

Fourth and in my opinion the best is John Ashcroft singing “Let The Eagle Soar” at the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary

Fifth is Mike Huckabee jamming to “Jailhouse Rock” while campaigning in New Hamphshire

And last but not least is Ted Kennedy Singing at an Obama Rally

Just for kicks how about the Singing Senators for making the band?

There was once a time when I expressed support for a McCain-Lieberman ticket. I loved how these two could see across party lines to attempt to solve problems. However, as Lieberman stated in his speech defining why he supported McCain, this is not an ordinary election, and these are not ordinary times.

We are in the middle of a five year war that we should have never started, and McCain supports escalating that conflict. We are at the brink of starting another war with Iran over a nuclear program which was halted three years ago. We are at a point in time where it is still legal to fire someone based on sexual orientation. We are in a point in time where the balance of the Supreme Court hangs by a thread. There is already a distinct 5-4 conservative majority in the high court, and two or three judges are set to retire within the next four to eight years. Extremely important issues will be decided by this court in the near future; abortion/women’s rights, campaign finance laws, legality of suspending habeas corpus, and the legality of detaining “enemy combatants” for indefinite amounts of time with no trial, among many others.

However, I remain adamant that I will not support any candidate who believes we should continue a war based, at best, on misinformation, and at worst, on outright lies, that is taking the lives of thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians. I will not support any candidate who seeks diplomatic action in the form of a military campaign. I also express the hope that none of you will either.
