It is with great sadness that I announce the pre-official death of The United States of America. Li

It is with great sadness that I announce the pre-official death of The United States of America. Like a patient in a Persistent Vegetative State, she will continue to convert organic mater into waste products for some time. But, ultimately, we are just waiting for the body to figure out what the mind and soul already know.

With the Nanny State able to control everything through Healthcare, we will cease to be individuals and simply be groups on an actuarial table. A state in life that is frustrating when it comes to a contracted business, but one that is morally evil when done by a government who’s sacred trust is to each and every man, woman, and child as individuals.

The next steps are up to the citizens. Do we allow this to continue to its enviable conclusion like that of “Once” Great Britain where you can’t even defend your own home? Or do we, as a society, decide to be more like our forebears and start over.

My bet, as “American ‘Idle’” prepares to knock couch potatoes back on their duffs for another season, is that the cancer that lead to our current Rock Star President and Congresscritter for Life Legislative Branch will keep people firmly on their hands waiting for .gov to take away all their problems. We will not see the resurgences of that spirit that made America great. And the few men who will step forward to challenge the status quo will be derided as crackpots and terrorists. Remember, Gandhi would have been a terrorist under current definitions.

So what happens when we can’t keep up the charade that we can pay for all this? What happens when the bill comes due? I guess it all depends on how quickly they get around to banning firearms and how effective that band is.

I weep for the world these criminals are leaving for our children and the blood that will be spilled because of their greed. My soul seeks solace in the fact that every drop of blood they are responsible for will be paid back in spades in the next life. I would not want to be one of these “leaders” when they enter the Here-after.

As for me? Well in the long run I’m not sure what I will do. If piper seeks payment in my life while I’m able to hold my end of the line, I will. If not, I will train my children well and instruct them to do the same. For one other thing gives me joy. No tyrant lives forever and no tyranny spans but a scant few generations.

In the short run, I’m going to finish the book I’m currently reading. Have a beer or two. Enjoy the company of my wife. And do something wholly verboten like have a celebratory cigar. I will also continue to tell anyone who will listen about the madness into which we are descending. If that puts me on the outs with the Gestapo Administration, so be it. You see, for all the doom and gloom that these criminals’ shadows cast across this land and its future; today, I am a free man and I will die a free man no matter how they delude themselves.

Today, Merseyside BNP “super-activist” Peter Tierney was up at the Crown Court to enter

Today, Merseyside BNP “super-activist” Peter Tierney was up at the Crown Court to enter a plea on charges of assault. In response, Liverpool Antifascists turned up to distribute leaflets informing the public of exactly who Merseyside BNP has in its ranks.

The leaflet delivered by antifascists at the crown court. Click on the image to download a PDF version.

Overall, the response to the leaflets from the public was a positive one and several hundred were distributed. The only negative response we received was from people who picked up on the word “BNP” and instantly became wary, only letting their guard down once they realised we were opposed to the fascists, not for them. Such a reaction from those mistakenly believing we supported the BNP is a common one, and betrays the depth of feeling against the party amongst the ordinary, working class people of Liverpool.

As a counterpoint, the fascists were out in force today, with Steve Greenhalgh, and Clive Jefferson amongst those most familiar to the BNP amongst the swarm of suited “activists” waiting to enter the court. And of course there was Andrew Tierney, who was happy to mingle with the gaggle of tracksuited boneheads brought in to make laughable attempts at intimidating us “reds.”

For as long as we were there, Andrew continued to film us. There were also shouts and attempts at goading from him and his fellow goons as time drew on. Perhaps due to the proximity of the crown court, the police (better known for protecting the BNP rather than persecuting them) actually responded to complaints about the filming.

Andrew Tierney in typical pose

Several boneheads rally around their poorly-strung up Union Flag as Andrew Tierney still fails to grasp why the police dont want him intimiating passers-by.

Particularly ironic was the moment when one police officer threatened to charge Steve Greenhalgh with a breach of section 5 of the Public Order Act for swearing at him. It was this same breach that one of our own activists was found guilty of when Tierney’s accusations of assault and criminal damage were thrown out as untenable nonsense. For Merseyside BNP this amounted to a “serious public order offence,” though we imagine it will quickly become “police persecution” now that Greenhalgh is on the receiving end.

Having delivered our leaflets and accomplished what we needed to, antifascists then left the scene – and the boneheads – behind. We will, however, be returning when Tierney faces trial and he is finally forced to face the truth of his actions back in April.

Further updates on the case to follow soon.

Being away on vacation (which meant not turning on my computer for one darn thing), I never got to comment on the Fort Hood debacle. Seems to me that our esteemed military high command and their civilian leadership should be frog marched out into Lincoln Memorial side of the reflecting pool, bound hand and foot, and told, “If you can make it to the Washington Monument side, we’ll allow you to resign.” Oh… forgot one little detail… After they get about a quarter of the way up the pool, have a twin .50 on the steps of the Memorial begin raking the area behind them not so slowly, advancing the elevation after each pass.

Once again our service men and women are put in harms way by bureaucratic idiots who can’t understand when you make a hard target squishy, the soft targets inside will be exploited. Not might be… WILL BE!

How may Police and Sheriff’s offices make their officers, detectives, and deputies unstrap when they get inside. Maybe, they should use the military logic and just pretend there is a giant bubble over their station house that protects them from everything ‘cause it wouldn’t be right for someone to attack.

The last time I checked, and I could be wrong on this, a soldier is a target 24/7-365. They get no days off. No time when they are not in the cross hairs. Why our bases are treated like teen summer camps by the leadership is beyond me. Every damn officer should have a sidearm. ALWAYS! E-6 and above should rotate in and out of carry duty. I can see why you don’t want E-1 through 4’s to carry daily. But for God’s sake, in this age of internal Jihadists why the hell would you not have a much greater armed presence on base.

Hell, you don’t want anyone below butter bar to carry? Fine. Put fudge ton of patrols INSIDE the base that can respond in a moment’s notice.

It’s really stupid to think that a random shopping mall in Texas has more available arms per capita than a military base.

I’m going to say this JUST ONCE! You can not violate one deeply held tenant of your faith just because you aren’t violating another, more serious one. We good on that? We all understand?

So, allegedly, no abortions will be paid for in Pelosi Care. Yeah right. I’ll believe that when I see it. Which I won’t. But let’s just pretend, for after all, this whole nightmare is just based on pretend scenarios, pretend economics, and pretend victims… So let’s pretend that this round of Pelosi Care from the House will really stick and not end up “killing babies.” Does that make it morally pure for Catholics seeking Social Justice (please say it with a lisp… that’s the only way to really gather the full impact of what most people mean by Social Justice today)?

No… Catholics (and other Christians) who act like as long as the “A” word is not used you can do anything for the “greater good” of “social justice” are deluding themselves with one moral obligation and ignoring others.

First let’s look at simple slavery. Making citizens slaves to the government for the promise of healthcare violates the sanctity of a person’s free will. This is the main reason that John Paul II fought so hard against Communism. While free will is not license, it can not be curbed to the point where individuals can only perform actions blessed and allowed by an overarching central government. Universal Healthcare, with its finger in the pie of virtually every decision that people will make every day, takes away the freedom of an individual to be an individual.

And don’t give me that this isn’t Universal Healthcare because you will still have private insurance plans. Each one of those plans will have to be approved by the Kremlin… I mean a Government panel. So you will NOT be able to engage in private transactions on the most personal of decisions. I wonder if they regulated Porn this rigidly if that would get passed with a 5 vote margin? Oh… wait. No… That’s a 1st amendment issue. You picking your own healthcare is not. Funny how that mythical and vaunted “Right to privacy” is missing from this bill.

Next let’s look at the principle of Subsidiarity. The Church, possibly not individual priests and bishops, but the CHURCH has long held that decisions are best made as close to ground zero as possible. Meaning while there is a need for decisions to be made at “the top”; most decisions and power should fall to the lowest level possible so that the greatest needs are met with the least amount of bureaucracy and over head. You know… like The Constitution promotes. Limited Federal Government, Expanded State powers, and, by extension, the States letting local authorities deal with the minutia. Healthcare tramples all over Subsidiarity by letting a faceless bureaucracy tell each individual what is the best care for them.

Death panels anyone? Rationing healthcare is exactly what will happen and anyone who thinks otherwise probably thinks their bank account craps money every 2 weeks, they have $500 extra in their account cause the bank will cover that much overage, and they are making a wise financial move by buying an expensive enough car to spin the upside down loan amount of their old car into a new set of payments. Healthcare will be rationed. Individuals not deemed worthy enough either by age, economic value, social class, or financial obligation will have medical care withheld at some point because a closed system can not generate any new capital. When the end of the money is reached and there are still patients… those patients will not get care. Not exactly “Social Justice” even when pronounced with a lisp.

In Vitro Fertilization. Ok… those who are non Catholics or those who don’t have a large background in bio ethics won’t see the problem with this. But let me break it down for you. Some argue that this is “evil” because it’s not natural. Well, neither is a pace maker, but it’s such a simple procedure now that there’s nothing wrong with it. Those who argue the “not natural” aspect of In Vitro are missing the point. IVF is bad because it 1) opens up the making of babies to Market Forces, and 2) guarantees the death of children.

Let’s just ignore point 1 for a moment since that is an application issue and not truly one directly related to the procedure itself. In a perfect world, you could deal with that the way we deal with the death penalty. Capital punishment, in and of itself, is not immoral. But it can be applied immorally. Let’s instead focus on point 2 which is how morally offensive the procedure actually is.

I can hear the objections. How can giving a couple a baby be bad? Well… under normal circumstances, it isn’t. But let’s take a look at phases of the procedure. First we collect eggs from the woman and sperm from the man. The former is done with a lot of discomfort and the latter, while normally done in a way… um… “not consistent” with Catholic beliefs; it can, with certain steps, be done in accordance with teachings. So we are ok there.

Next, we have a “mixture” of the two specimens “outside” the womb. Many ethicists will look at this as gravely wrong. That anything that removes the creative/generative process from the intimate/unitive process is morally wrong. And they are right. But I’m probably going to lose 90% of the non-Catholic readers on that point, so I’m not even going to argue that one. Let’s just reserve that argument as an uncertainty at best.

If you are Catholic, however, (and that is whom I’m yelling at here) you can’t pass go. You can’t collect $200. If you claim to be Catholic, and an act is taught to be intrinsically evil. You have to stop and not do or support it. Period. Full Stop.

So now we have some little human beings floating around in a petri dish. We will take SOME, not all, but some (the genetically fit ones, Mein Fuhrer) and inject them into the womb to see what takes. The humans that are not injected into the womb are then kept for experimentation or killed as surplus. That’s right, but it’s OK because they don’t vote and don’t have little faces that can be put on late night commercials with Sally Struthers and the strange bearded guy.

The ones that ended up getting injected may or may not attach (which is why you have to use so many) and if “too many” attach then the “extra humans” are subject to “reduction”*. Meaning abortion. So we are still paying for abortions when we pay for IVF. And not only are we paying for abortions and killing of babies out of the womb, we are also paying for the enslavement of humans to medical experimentation.

I realize it’s really easy to dismiss this because these humans are cells rather than fully expressive semi-bipedal diaper wearing poop machines. But what else are they? You can use any amount of sophistry you want to call them a bio mass or a proto human or any other number of double speak phrases. But in the end, they are and will only be a human and left to natural means, they will not only be a human in cell form, but a human in voting form, as well.

So we have this bill that Catholics clamoring for “(lisp) Social Justice (/lisp)” think is the bee’s knees because it formally says it will not pay for abortions. It ignores economic realities, it denounces subsidiarity, it forced subservience to governmental monopoly, it violates the ethical distribution of medical services, and breaches the ethical boundaries of medial procedures all on OUR dime. Please… Grow up and read something more than “The Catholic Worker” or other Liberation Theology inspired writings.

Now the fun part is that Catholic Bishops will be meeting in about a week or so. This issue will (or at least better) be on the docket. Many have said the Bishops have blessed this bill. Many have said they have not. Either way, if the Senate stalls; this could be an interesting opportunity for Bishops to get their two cents in. As a Catholic, I’m very interested to see what happens. I really don’t know what they will do, if anything.

The Bishops have dropped the ball on a number of issues either through timidity or allowing their lay advisors to have too much say in policy making. I would not be surprised to see them fall in love with the bill. I would not be surprised to see them distance themselves. I would not be surprised to see them say it’s a governmental issue and as long as the Big “A” is off the table and while they have “concerns” about other issues, they will leave it up the conscience of the voters.

What I will be surprised to see is a bold statement that says, “THIS IS NOT SOCIAL JUSTICE!” And that is truly sad. This is a time when the Bishops, or even just a few of them, could stand up and sound the clarion call to defeat this abomination. The bill hangs by the weakest of threads and just one or two loud voices could send it back to the bowels of hell from whence it came.

I’m truly glad I’m not a Bishop in this day and age. I really would not want to meet death with all that is required of me and have to tell Jesus, “Well, I didn’t want to make waves. What would you have me do?” I bet He gets really fed up with that one.

One more thing. If I hear, “…well the current system…,” one more time; someone is getting a beat down. You don’t replace your functioning, if not perfect, car with a lemon just because your current one has times when it fails to start or sometimes takes longer than it should to warm up. You fix the current one. The only ones who win if you replace it with a lemon out of some misplaced sense of desperation and false sense of urgency are the Seller and the Mechanic. This is NOT “Social Justice!” It’s plain stupidity. When you have the authority and ability to stop it and do not, it’s malpractice. And any who participate in it, from the willing voter to the silent leaders to the greedy politician, are guilty, in some way, for all the lives affected. THAT is Social Justice, Comrade!

* or you have them all, get a hit show on TLC, have the public believe you are spineless wuss by not standing up to your wife, then prove you are a spineless wuss to all by leaving her for jail bait. But the AMA has not approved this procedure.

That’s pretty much how most Presidents treat their political appointments. They are the spoils of war and are passed downhill to willing toadies and supporters as thanks for a job well down or not publishing photos or making sure certain ballots end up in a lake while others end up delivered on time with no overt evidence of tampering.

It’s an age old tradition dating back to kings, shaws, and emperors when making your favorite cousin Earl of Conqueredlandsingdale or giving your best mistress a “get out of the gallows free” card was expected. And you know… I’m somewhat ok with that. Keeping your appointments of unqualified toadies to unremarkable and unimportant posts has long been one of the attributes that has separated the good kings/leaders/elected officials from the bad. Making a political flunky ambassador (in name only) to Waythehelloverthereistan or Outer Bumfudgeolia where they can do little damage to anything other that willing lads’/ladies’ virtues or bar tabs is, sadly, the only way to motivate some people.

However, when you start doling out posts of high order positions to UNQUALIFIED cronies, you cross the line into BAD KING land. When they are interior posts, you run the risk of ruining the internal workings of the country (Czars anyone?). When they are exterior posts, such as diplomatic posts, you guarantee that the country will be looked at as weak and foolish. And while both can be salvaged by later administrations, the chaos caused by foolish interior appointments pales in comparison to the damage done by foolish exterior ones.

The foolish interior ministers lead to hunger, lost jobs, and economic disaster while the foolish exterior ones lead to death. Deaths of allies. Deaths of innocent people. Deaths of Servicemen and Servicewomen. …All thrown into a meat grinder when the US looks weak and indecisive. When we come off as buffoons abroad, tyrants move their pieces on the board with much bolder ease. When we show stupidity at every turn, no matter how well intentioned it is, we WILL put more lives at risk by encouraging evil with our weakness.

With that prologue, we now move to this. When your Secretary of State starts putting on her rendition of “The View” for foreign consumption, what message does that send to tyrants about the will of the United States?

The foolish exterior ministers who give the tacit green light for despots and potentates to start acting like, well, despots and potentates never have to face the grim reality of the blood they’ve allowed to be spilled. Not in this life anyway. Sadly, that spit storm rolls right on downhill to the little people while the idiot policy makers sip cocktails in high rise hotels and plot their next photo op.

And this is why I love Texas. Do you think the RNC would have the stones to send this out?

Email from the Republican Party of Texas:
————————————————————–

President Barack Obama has won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize for, in the words of the Nobel Commitee, intending to promote nuclear disarmament and world peace. In announcing the award, the Committee acknowledged that he hasn’t actually achieved anything on either of these subjects. Or much of anything else.

The Nobel Committee gave the president its most prestigious award for what he wants to do, not what he’s done. That made us wonder, what other prestigious award will the president win next? Surely the Nobel is only the first of many accolades.

He loves NCAA basketall. Perhaps he’ll be awarded a national championship. Or maybe the NBA will name him this year’s MVP. He drives a car. Perhaps Motor Trend will name him Car of the Year.

He has actually written two books. Perhaps a Pulizter, or a Nobel for literature, will come his way.

The president is known to like pie. Perhaps he’ll win a blue ribbon at the Illinois State Fair.

He did host the “beer summit.” Perhaps he’ll be named a Real Man of Genius.

Surely a Cy Young, a Heisman, a Vince Lombardi trophy, and the America’s Cup will take their places on the president’s mantle soon. And his Tour de France shirt and US Open blazer must be in the mail by now.

He could be awarded the NASCAR Sprint Cup, because no one turns left like President Obama.

While the president awaits his next earth-shattering award, the Republican Party of Texas is working hard every day to actually do things. Real things, in the real world, to help real families like yours. We work to cut your taxes. We work to balance the state budget. We work to keep Texas strong, free and prosperous by fighting against the Democrats’ insatiable appetite to take more control over your life, raise your taxes, and enact policies that will destroy our economy and cost jobs.

We’re not going to be awarded the million-dollar Nobel Peace Prize for that.

While the DNC sorts out how to deal with the Nobel Commitee’s 2012 campaign contribution to the president’s re-election effort, we could use your help. A donation today will help us fight for you here in Texas, and it will also send the message that no matter what the European left elites think, we want President Obama and the Democrats to keep their hands off Texas.

Reportedly the president will personally receive a cash award of over $1.4 million for winning the Nobel. Could you spare one one-thousandth of that – $14.00 – to help us and send the world a message at the same time?

——————————————–

Once again the Nobel Peace Prize shows its uselessness. I guess the committee was tired of being second only to a dead dust mite in universal pointlessness and made the bold move to give the Peace Prize for “perty talkin’” and “warm fuzzies”.

Oh hell, can you fault them. That’s how we elected a President.

So I wonder how the White House feels about SHARING SOMETHING ELSE WITH JIMMY CARTER!

TheOne(tm) now joins the ranks of the past winners including Kofi Annan, The United Nations, and Yasser Arafat .

Congrats Barry-O!

Now what affect will this have on US politics? Well, the Media, playing to the 20% hard line lefties will show this as proof that the US is on the right track with TheOne™ at the helm and will insist we pass healthcare NOW!

The 50% of the country that fully hates Barry will not be swayed; with a large portion of those (who view any involvement in useless international organizations as “troubling”) being polarized even more to the right. Still others will see this (as I do) as his international commie buddies trying to help out a foundering presidency.

But that leaves 30% of the people fair game for the Media to try and trick into backing off their distrust of Obamacare. And since they only need to move the poll numbers a little bit to give Congress the cover it thinks it needs to move on Socialized Medicine… I don’t know.

We’ll see by Monday what the Media can do with this during the weekend spin cycle. Seems to me that this would have been better for TheOne™ if it hit on Monday and the weekday spinners would have had 5 days to drill into us how much better we are with The Messiah at the tiller?

Should be interesting. If you find the State Run Media’s sycophantic love affair with TheOne™ more interesting than nauseating?

So my twisted little mind started thinkin’ on the new FTC blog rules for the preservation of the Dinosaur Media; and I now have a new question.

What IF, Jesus, arguably the universes’ largest manufacture and corporate concern… I mean, creating and maintaining the UNIVERSE and EVERYTHING has to put you at least somewhere in the middle of the Fortune 500. Right? So what if Jesus, in his infinite mercy, grants me a miracle apropos of nothing. I don’t pray for it. I don’t beseech, beg, supplicate, bow, bend, or scrape. Just in his omnipotent beneficence he waves the magick smyting stick and POOF!

Say that miracle is saving me from a burning car. I now have “X” more years of life worth, well… I’m sure an Actuary could be more accurate, but let’s say roughly, 2 million dollars worth of actual income. Now let’s say after such a magnanimous gift, I run right to the magic elf box and sing the Lord’s praises offering Te Deum and Hosannas ad nauseam on my blog? How do I declare that to the FTC?

Will Jesus be fined $11,000? Will I? Will the Pope get a bill?

Just a thought.

By way of ex-Merchant of Death cum Fantasy Writer Extraordinaire, Larry “what round for gargoyles” C

By way of ex-Merchant of Death cum Fantasy Writer Extraordinaire, Larry “what round for gargoyles” Correia, we get the story of how fed.gov is trying to apply the “square peg round hole” theory in dealing with potential competition to the State Run Media’s monopoly on all information.

So if I get this correct… If, say, Remington does some repairs on my rifle and does a wonderful job AND sends me and extra magazine for my troubles and then I heap praise on them here on my blog, I could own fed.gov $11,000? But if I just tell some friends about it, that’s ok. What about if I send a Tweet?

And would the service preformed for me be reason alone for investigation. The rules seem so vague that some inspector could eventually say that the close attention I got was do to my blog and that Remington called in the A team to “inspire” me to write a nice post. Would Remington then own fed.gov?

So now, just because the information is on the internet and not passed word of mouth, then I’m guilty of something? I wasn’t aware that the FTC or fed.gov owned my thoughts and words? I understand that WE own the airwaves and that fed.gov has a right, however vague, to police them. I just wasn’t aware that fed.gov owned the internet? If they do, then they must own all my free speech because all the reasons used for NOT policing other outlets fly out the window.

Funny, I pay for my internet just like others who read my blog. I pay for Cable TV and that’s the justification for them NOT policing it. Isn’t that the justification for not policing XM Radio? It’s a service WE pay for and not free? Oh and let’s not forget the asshattery that is public access channels. Can’t do anything about the filth and lies on that because it’s CABLE TV and YOU PAY FOR IT. Just block the station. So when can I expect to see the rules applied to Public Access Channels? Hmmm?

Oh… that’s right. Public Access is owned by large media outlets. Not little bloggers who didn’t go to journalism school or have a Senator or 3 in their back pockets. All this free speech stuff just confuses little old me. Maybe I should leave it to the pros.

This is dangerous ground here folks. A very slippery slope. One that will surly end in Big Brother capriciously targeting citizens for almost anything because ANYTHING could be seen as a payoff. Could the USE of a particular item for a said period of time eventually be seen as a “payoff”? I mean… Shooting a cool AR for a week to review it; could that be seen as compensation? I can rent an AR for 10 bucks an hour at a shooting range? $10 * 24 hours * 7 days…. The G-men could say I was compensated to the tune of $1680.

Now… what happens if I write a letter to the editor of my local department of deforestation and cage liners. I’ve just reached, potentially, and entire city with my words about Remington’s excellent customer service? I mean… if anyone really read newspapers anymore? Shouldn’t I be investigated and fined by fed.gov then?

I would love to say that this is DOA on any court case. That its blatant disregard for the 1st Amendment is so obvious and odious that it would be struck down from court to court until the FTC was made to look like the buffoons they are. But I’ve watched similar eviscerations of The Constitution get “thumbs up” from black robe after black robe until they are enshrined as golden nails in the coffin of the Bill of Rights.

Silence Citizen! Your right to free speech ends as the words fall from your mouth. Everything else belongs to us.

I’m thinking of a new t-shirt to wear to gun shows. “Sorry, I can’t take your gimme cap. I’m a blogger.”

So… there’s this house. It’s nice. It’s what we need. It’s what we can afford. It’s close to a GREAT church. The Neighborhood is nice. The schools are nice. It’s NOT in Houston. Good back yard. Covered patio.

The cons… Could be a bit bigger. No HOA. (But then again, that could be a plus?) It adds 20 minutes to every commute under the sun including to the elderly folks’ houses. The local Po-Po has not gotten back to me about their CLEO’s stance on Title II weapons. And I HATE change.

So please forgive my extended absence over the last few days whilst I’ve wrestled with these relevant issues.

NON-SEQUITOR!

My laptop, Sybil, has driven me to my utter limits. We took off and nuked her form orbit yesterday. Complete brain bleaching. She’s now felling much better. I won’t make the mistake of putting Visual Studio on her again. That’s when the madness started. That’s when the decay set in. Poor girl. She just couldn’t take an application that is designed to make applications.

I understand now why every developer I’ve ever worked with has that air of shock when I tell them their brainchild doesn’t work. “It works on my system!” Well yeah… on a system so ‘tarded up to allow Visual Studio to run; just not so much in the real world!

VS will end up on a Virtual Server this go around.

NON-SEQUITOR II

Everyone is so pleased that Barry-O was lampooned on SNL. Folks, draw back the joy. This wasn’t SLN catching up with us; it’s the loony left PO’ed that he hasn’t produced Nirvana yet. We still have our God and our guns and that really hacks them off. Their Messiah hasn’t delivered so they are lashing out.

So all you Libertarian / Conservative types out there who just went arse over tea pot with joy… you may want to dial it back a tidge. All this shows is that he’s losing his 20% base, not that they’ve decided to join the other 60% of the country that’s fed up with him.

They are still wild-eyed Socialists who are mad that we aren’t on a pace to be the People’s Republic of America any sooner than 2013 rather than by fall sweeps.

NON-SEQUITOR The Next

Giving Props to T-Mobile and my Treo 750. While Sybil was gob smacked with her little brain transplant; my little out of date Treo had to perform as my sole Instant Message Platform and Email station. It preformed admirably. Also need to give a “hell yeah” to Palringo. It’s kept me connected 10 hours a day for the past 2 days. Damn… If this was 3G, I’d be dangerous.

I’ve tried other IM programs but they seem to have connections issues. Few don’t broadcast that you are on a mobile device. Even fewer do Group Chats with MSN. Palringo did it all with a smile.

NON-SEQUITOR The Last

My apologies to Breda and the other one… what’s his name?? Anyway… my apologies to them for not plugging Gun Nuts the past few times. I really hope I can return to something more closely resembling a regular schedule here soon. If nothing else, to keep my own marbles.

When I do return to something with an approach vector that nears sanity, I’ll be sure to tend to important things like the Tuesday Gun Nuts reminders. Oh yeah… and plugging products for the free swag that we bloggers get since we have no ethics.

HEY RUGER! I GET SEVERAL HITS A DAY ON MY LCR POSTS! HOW’S ABOUT SENDING ME ONE!

Meh… Don’t ask, don’t get.

So says the latest Rasmussen Poll. But we need it now and MUST PASS IT NOW or we’re all gonna

So says the latest Rasmussen Poll. But we need it now and MUST PASS IT NOW or we’re all gonna die in the gutter. But we can wait until AFTER the next Presidential Election for it to kick in. A crisis that requires immediate action that we can wait “4 more years” on as well?

Um… Really? You mean to tell me that if I’m dying, from say… a gunshot wound; I need to get to the Doctor RIGHT AWAY! But then the Doctor can wait 4 years to treat me?

So if this isn’t about making sure Susie Soccer Mom doesn’t have her babe die in her arms while mean evil physicians laugh at her from the driver’s seats of their Beemers, while smearing illegal Beluga Caviar on the breasts of their mistresses, and swerving into puppies in school zones (which it can’t be if we can wait until 2013 to move one inch off the launch pad), then what is this about?

Well, we all know the answer. It has been and always will be about control. Control over YOU; who are the enemy to Statists and Commies everywhere. Psycho Dictators aren’t the problem. YOU are. You and your free will and dreams… You ruin everything. Your desire to get ahead and wishes for a better life for your kids. YOU EVIL BASTARDS! If you would just give in and let your betters run your daily life. But you don’t. And they can’t. …at least not without Nationalized Healthcare.

Over dramatic? No. Look at laws passed for “health reasons”. Pass a health code that condoms have to be accessible to all students at the university level, and even religious institutions who are Doctrinally/Dogmatically opposed to that have to tow the line. Pass a health code that you can’t have “under-cooked food” and bingo; no more rare steaks or eggs over easy at the local eatery. Pass a health code that you can’t smoke in your own home because it will cost tax payers too much money to treat your cancer and guess what… you won’t be able to. Oh… and since you can’t opt out of having health care, you can’t do anything about it.

You like having guns? Sorry… too many accidents happen with them. Not healthy.

You like beer? Sorry… too many accidents happen to people while intoxicated. Not healthy.

You like loud music? Sorry… too much hearing damage. Not healthy.

You like rock climbing, bungee jumping, driving your own car… OOPS! Too bad. Don’t believe me? Well… Everything you do is assessed a risk by someone. Everything. Take a “real age” quiz sometime and find out. That data exists for only one reason and it’s not to scare you on an interw3bz quiz. It’s for Actuary Tables. Someone needs to know how much you cost before they can put a dollar amount to your life. When there’s no way to opt out of insurance, no competition, and no where else to run for revenue; actuary tables will be the order of the day not just to see who lives and dies, but also to see what activities are sanctioned by your Federal Government?

Still don’t believe me? *sigh…* Watch an episode of Mythbusters. Chances are you will hear someone talk about what they’d LOVE to have done but the insurance company wouldn’t let them. Just imagine what fed.gov could make us do or not do when THEY are THE ONLY insurance company. …with tanks.

So here we are with almost 60% of the country yelling, “HELL NO!” But we are going to have it anyway. Why? Because by the time you find out just how bad it’s gonna hurt you, Obama will be on his second term, Congress will have written themselves another 4 years of protective measures to ensure they stay just as they are, and there won’t be a single thing you can do about it.

Well… now that’s not exactly true. Is it? Ladies and Gents, “…that way madness lies…” PLEASE call your elected officials and YELL YOUR BLOODY HEADS OFF. Write them and tell them, “NO!” Right now they are functioning under a stale old playbook. One that will not be able to deal with the new calls brought about by desperation, chaos, and righteous anger. Too much is at stake here. Too much. God help us all.

Now this may put me on a watch list. Fine. I’m speaking the truth. There are few ways this can end without pain. I’m praying for the way where we avoid this madness altogether. I’m too old and too realistic to want any of the others.

The funny part about this story is that when I was reading this and this, the only thing I could think about was how Barry’s sidelines must be screaming, “NO! JIMMY! NO! No one wants YOUR help. PLEASE! The last thing we want is for people to be reminded of YOU right now.” And in true rookie fashion, Instead of letting the comments go the way of the Dodo, as is the want of comments from Jimmy “Misery Index” Cater, Obama’s camp puts their names right next to his in print. What kind of armatures are running the show over there?

When you are trying NOT to be compared to the greatest epic fail in modern presidential history, it’s not a good idea to even acknowledge his existence. I know what TheOne’s™ camp is trying to do. “See. We are different than he is. Yeah. We don’t think it’s racism. Yeah. See how different we are? Really! …Above it all. Way above. Trust us!”

The thing is all anyone sees is, “Carter and Obama? Oh I remember Carter. Wow… Things are really about to get that bad again. Crap!” My goodness! You would think with all the willing concubines in the press rooms across America, the Administration would have a clue when to STFU!

Oh, Dante. Don’t you see this lets The Anointed One take the high road? It shows white people he isn’t afraid of them.

BULL! When you argue with a fool… as the saying goes. Jimmy Cater is a fool and the POTUS should be no where near him. The stink is just too great. Whatever alien probe altered Jimmy’s brain chemistry and made him go from building houses to tearing down the US every time he has his Passport stamped has made him worthless to this country in any capacity other than proof positive that ANYONE can grow up to be President of the United States of America. And keeping your name in the headlines with his… Amateurish

Situations in politics have the half live of a mayfly. Things could change between now and November 2010. But I really, for the fist time in about a year, have some hope that MAYBE someone will put a stop to this train wreck. Now if we could just find some adults to run the show instead of spoiled Statists who think everything revolves around the Beltway.

Lawyer is just the Larval Stage of a Politician. …Which makes Trial Lawyers the Nymph Stage.

If Nationalized Healthcare is such a wondifferous thing, why does the president have to repackage it every week and try to “explain it” (read “lie”) from a different angle? I mean… math is math. If it’s so good, just show the math not just your answer.

If Nationalized Healthcare is so good and Obama is so effective in making his case, why do they have to manufacture poll numbers*?

If the healthcare debate is solely about health care, why aren’t we talking about just creating an insurance fund for the 12 million or so who aren’t insured? Why is there such a rush to include all people under the plan in some shape of fashion? I mean, would you give food stamps to those who can afford their own food? Would you give free umbrellas to those who already have them?

Why is it that a majority of the nation can’t understand that when someone promises you something for nothing that the strings are just invisible but just as binding?

* “18% of the respondents who participated in tonight’s survey identified themselves as Republicans, 45% identified themselves as Democrats, and 37% identified themselves as Independents.” NO!!!
OK, so you have to do an extra click to see “Stacy’s Mom”. You won’t melt.

I bought a quart bottle of Wisconsin-made maple syrup from a co-worker for $8. She said it’s made by an 85-year-old guy up nort’ der. I plan to smother all kinds of carbohydrate-infested breakfast materials in it later. Blood glucose? You have to die of something, go out happy.

Gee, why would Alderman Radish believe that a committee appointed by Mayor Larry composed only of homeless advocates would be biased toward supporting a homeless shelter downtown? The homeless advocates spend their 8 hours on the job and then go to their homes far away from the homeless shelter they would support. Now in principle, I’m not against homeless shelters downtown, but I am of the opinion, “if you build it, they will come.” Just because you’re homeless doesn’t make you stupid. Would you rather be homeless on 13th and Juneau or East and Main? Advocates will tell you that there is a finite population of homeless who would find their way to downtown Waukesha and that most would be from the local area. I would submit that if the space is guaranteed, the word will spread and the demand will be endless.

The Art Fest has moved from Cutler Park to the mean streets of downtown. Hope the weather holds.

When I taught, I had to have a lesson plan COMPLETED, APPROVED, and FILED weeks (preferably MONTHS)

When I taught, I had to have a lesson plan COMPLETED, APPROVED, and FILED weeks (preferably MONTHS) before that class rolled around. But I guess when the agenda is Socialism and not Computer Science you only have to make the final drafts available within hours of your lesson?

“But he’s the President…” Bullpats! When he’s trying to push an agenda and lesson to kids, he’s just another teacher who deserves even closer scrutiny because of the power he can control. If he was pulling this crap on my kids, I’d be yanking my kids out of class and DEMANDING that I have 18 minutes to refute what he had to say. If he wants to politicize our children, then we should have a right to fight back with more than just covering our kid’s eyes while he tries to flash them with his socialist porn of candy canes and sunshine.

“It’s not a partisan speech…” Again… BULLPATS! If it’s not, why is it the same things for all kids across the board? You don’t teach a 2nd grader with the same style and language that you teach a 5th grader let alone someone older. If you were REALLY trying to TEACH kids, there would be targeted speeches to different age groups with different plans.

It’s a political stunt designed first to rally kids to his support so Susie Soccer Mom who may be on the fence about Healthcare or other issues will see her kids glowing with love and sunshine from Obama and put aside her justified fears that her kids will be in soup lines and have rationed medical care in 40 years. Obama is simply trading on his ability to say nothing very prettily and fuel a large amount of kids into blind rock star love for a few weeks while he plies their parents with promises of a Utopia that they don’t want. The ploy is a simple misdirection to try and dislodge enough “moderate” suckers so he can get his “Public Option” and secure Nationalized Medicine.

Its other aim is to put the rainbows and candy canes in socialism so that kids can continue to be co-opted into thinking that collectivism is just spreading the love. That way whatever Obama’s Constitution hating warriors can’t get this go around, they may be able to get in 20 years.

My only hope is that lately every time Obama opens his mouth he drops a little further in the polls. His aiming at kids is just another sign that he knows his bloom fell off weeks ago. Kids, some of his most vocal supporters, are his fall back. They can always be dazzled with dog and pony shows. At least they can when you are new and hip. We’ll know in a few hours if Obama’s still new and hip enough for the kids. I pray that our children are smart enough to see that the emperor is full of it.

I’ll just add one thing for all my “moderate” friends out there who didn’t believe me about Obama being a Marxist who would do ANYTHING including co-op our children in his unholy war against the Constitution,
