I’ve been really busy in the shop the last few weeks. Here are a few tattoos.

I finished a painting this morning for a Milton Zeis repaint book. I repainted the repaint a few times because I wanted it to be just right – there are a lot of great tattooers associated with the book. I’ve seen some of the paintings and it looks like it’s going to be a great collection.

I did my first Japanese piece on Luke, who has an amazing half sleeve by Jordan. I should stop riding Jordan so hard on this.

I finally got my Albrigo/Shrewsbury etching back from the framers.

On Sunday I travelled to London to see Daniel Higgs perform. He also personalised my Doomsday Bonnet. It was a great, surreal day.

I found this tattoo on Ben on the camera today. It’s from a few weeks ago. He has some really nice work by Valerie, Jordan and Miles at Frith Street.

Tom Downs came up to finish off his Owl tribute to his grandfather.

And some one shot tattoos now – this guy came to get his first tattoo the day after his 18th birthday.

Jo came to get this boxer girl/skull.

Tom picked up this horse from me on the same day.

Then today I tattooed my boss Lee Hadfield. It sits between Tutti, Uncle Allan and Oliver Peck. I’ll get better photos tomorrow hopefully. Notice the cut below the leaves where he tried to shave himself.

Shawn was back in Wales for Easter so came by to get this boxer girl, picked from the same sheet as Jo did above. I tried to make them a little different. Upper inner arm. He also gave me some of his illustration work – check it out HERE.

Dan came in this morning to finish off this lady on the back of his leg. Most of the lines and black are healed, colour fresh. He is back in a few weeks so I’ll get another shot at a decent picture then. I must have taken 50 pictures, this was the best one. Pretty embarrasing.

Played this in my boy racing mobile (an 8 seater KIA Caren) when visiting my dads last week. Im sure the population of Brackley (the over 80’s and council officials) really enjoyed the message. Not sure wether to be creeped out by the childs voice that seems to appear in three parts of the song.

2. Lindsay Lohan – Bossy

All she wants is an obedient significant other. Is that too much to ask for? I first heard this track when I was working in LA, where I spent 80% of my freetime looking out for her, armed with questions about the possibility of a sequal to the parent trap. Unfortunately there was never and official release or video. –probably too busy stealing necklaces and fist deep in a ronson. But heres a sims interpretation of what could have been

3.Nicki Minaj ft. Sean Kingston –Letting Go (Dutty Love)

Like Lin (sorry LOHANDS)  we are more than obsessed with Nicki –check my ebay history if you don’t believe me.

The only downfall with the song is my struggle with the idea of Dutty love with the 25 stone Mr Kingston.

4. Blazin Squad – Flip reverse it.

At 24, I think I finally understand what flip reverse it means, but are all 11 of them talking about the same girl?

Poor bitch.

I know I can’t get a lot of you to agree, so I’ll leave it for a last song sometime? Ok?

In love with this intro. But not the only reason I’m obsessed with this one, this girl:

When the dk came to an end I was genuinely heartbroken. Really glad to see her back though, grinding around Diddy dressed as a turkey.

Ash Gray got these Pharaoh’s Horses in a horseshoe, and Sam came from Cornwall via Cardiff to get the lighthouse.

Andrew got this woman with her pet snake – a redraw of a classic Earl Brown piece of flash.

Duncan wanted a snake biting a human heart. It sits on the back of his lower arm because I couldn’t decide which way I wanted it to sit.

And here’s a healed indian woman on Jamie. That is offensive…

I have a good week of work coming up, as well as some paintings to scan and put online when I get the opportunity.

Chris came up to the studio for the second time this year to get this piece above a nice Sam Ricketts tattoo.

I caved and did my first hand tattoo today too. This is on a friend of mine and world famous graphic designer Chris Welsby. He did the studio website for us (I’ll be updating the website later this week). Chris doesn’t have a lot of space left, but we managed to do this knight to fill a gap. His other work was not by me.

I ended my day by doing this 12×12 watercolour for the cover of the More Than Life – Love Let Me Go test presses. Limited to 10, mine is going straight on eBay, so look out for that.
