Eu não sei bem se sou fã da britney, mas gosto de algumas músicas principalmente do album blackout, mas o motivo desse post é na verdade pra falar de como a presença dela em mídias sociais é muito forte, toda vez que surge algum murmurrinho sobre alguma música ou clipe que pode ser lançado os fãs fazem uma verdadeira campanha para promover a diva (rsrrs), nesse mês a Bitch está lançando sua coletânea “The singles collection” comemorativa aos 10 anos de carreira da princesinha do pop.
Artistas como Lady Gaga e Maddona tem um efeito em mídias socias, (mas me parece) que a Britney tem feito mais sucesso.
E vou postar aqui um video de um flash mob feito em homenagem a cantora e também um ação feita pela gravadora Jive records para promover o TSC e…

After a bumpy start to her Australian Tour, media hype about lip-sync-ing has died down and fans are obviously embracing Brit’s on-stage performances. There was no adverse publicity during her Melbourne or Sydney concerts. Her Brisbane run is set to go, as well as a return performance to Melbourne and a final concert in Adelaide.

What is it about young female pop stars and chair dancing?
Were they all raised watching Liza Minnelli in Cabaret?

My first vivid chair dancing memory was Britney Spears’s “Stronger” video. According to a MTV article released today, “Stronger” is described as the video where Britney turns from innocent schoolgirl to femme fetale. I don’t understand the point of the article either.

Beyonce also clearly likes the chair. Not only is it in “Video Phone”, but she also works the furniture in “Check Up On”, not-so-coincidentally both were directed by Hype Williams. Not only does Hype reuse the chair in “Video Phone,” but he also recycles the pin-up motif from the video he did for Kanye West, “Gold Digger.”

But before Britney and Beyonce there was Janet Jackson’s “Pleasure Principle” routine, which was Joseph Kahn’s point of reference when directing Britney’s “Stronger” video. But even before Miss. Jackson, there was Flashdance, which Jennifer Lopez uses as inspiration for her video ”Glad.” Still following?

Not surprising, bourlesque-troupe-turned-pop-group The Pussycat Dolls also gives the chair some loving in “Buttons.” Apparently the only thing better than one girl giving a lapdance to Mr. Invisible is five synchronized gyrating girls.

Pink mixes it up by using a stool in “Lady Marmalade” – a song really begging for more of a chair routine.

Most recently, Ciara uses a chair in her “Love, Sex, Magic” video – it just so happens that Justin Timberlake is sitting in it, and of course the two appear to be in a strip club where JT is a patron and Ciara is a performer. This is not to be confused with the “Glad” or “Lady Marmalade” videos.

Amongst all the cabaret acts, hands down the most effective use of a chair is Madonna’s “Human Nature.” And who performed “Human Nature” with Madonna in 2008 to mark the beginning of her comeback? Why of course, Britney Spears. How full circle.

i wanted to go out with just my dad but hes been sleeping so much sinced she left and doesn’t want to talk. he started one day but started crying again it was annoying because we can’t get back to normal yet. so i just call britney all the time and talk while he sleeps. she rules!

First off, the CMA’s. Country’s big night.

19 year-old Taylor Swift went home with four awards: music video of the year, female artist, album of the year, and the much coveted entertainer of the year.

Brad Paisley hosted and won male vocalist of the year.

Vocal group of the year and single of the year were grabbed by Lady Antebellum. The song by the way was “I Run to You”

I was surprised to find that Darius Rucker from Hootie and the Blowfish won new artist of the year.

The author breaks the process down into Alert, Connect, Sell; he also argues that the biggest reason new acts do not sell as much is because they have not done enough Alerting and Connecting first. Australians get mad.

Apparently it IS possible to aggravate our friends down-under. Well, at least for Britney Spears it is. According to many online sources, Britney’s Circus Tour was not going well down there. Large numbers of people left her show, angry because of her lip-synching.

I thought it was common knowledge that Britney lip-synched. I mean, almost no one can dance with that intensity and sing at the same time (though I credit Lady Gaga for trying). I guess it was really bad for the Aussies to get that pissed.

Anyway, legislators down in Australia are discussing the idea of performance disclosure to audiences before sales occur. This is so that people know what they are getting. Live would mean live, with real instruments and real singing. Anything not in accordance with that definition would need to be disclosed as such. Personally, I like the idea, even though it would be to artists what HD was to actors….all the covered blemishes now in plain view.

What do you think? Should similar legislation be passed in the United States?

Review: It's Britney (iPhone App)

So today I found Britney’s official iPhone app on the app store. It is in it’s first public version which I have to say you can notice ’cause it does crash from time to time but I have only used it for a few minutes today so I can’t say to much about the performance yet. In the app which by the way costs 1,99$ or 15SEK you can get the latest news from britneyspears.com and her twitter, you can access a bunch of photos that you can download to your phone with the press of a button. You can BBD (Be Britney’s Dancer) and insert a photo of yourself or a friend to make it appear like you are on stage with our pop princess. You can go into something called sparkler which is a totally pointless flashvideo with britney standing behind a rain of sparkles like in the end of the circus tour concerts (pretty but why put that into the app?). You get direct links to Britneyspears.com, her facebook, her twitter and her youtube page. That’s pretty much it, not an amazing app for the iPhone but come on every Britney fan should have this on their iPhones! Here are some images from the app:

4) Depois, Rihanna aparece se querendo e esfregando o meio das pernas no meio da “prisão”. É que deve ser muito sexy esse negócio de morrer.

5) No refrão, minuto 1:45, a cantora foge? É isso? Só sei de uma coisa: o cabelo de louro José continua roubando a cena o clipe inteiro…

6) Ok… Depois vem fumaça vermelha, coisas obscuras, o diretor pira, Rihanna cai na água, um dos tiros acerta o pescoço da cantora e o clipe acaba.

Resumindo: Rihanna tá no hospital agora?

OK, fine, I admit it! I HEART BRITNEY SPEARS!! I never wanted to admit that in public – but OK, OK, I love her. And I always have. The “First Love of My Life” aka FLOML, used to come out of the shower and dance around in a towel to this song to make me laugh. It was cute. It was one of our “things.” But I guess with more than seven years together, we had a lot of “things” – good and bad.

And OK, OK its also kinda embarrassing to admit this little story about us – BUT who cares? He doesn’t know I have this blog and will never find out, so posting it here is TOTALLY fine in my mind.

I miss him, I do. And when I hear this song, I always think of him. It is a good memory of him. Enjoy!
