Under this system your goal on the golf course should be, to stay away from TRIPLE BOGEYS and Scores of 10…Stay focused even after a bad shot…Remember, you can’t change what happen last hole…The only thing you have control of is, what is happening now! My thought when I created this system, was to try and find a way to wake a player up when they’ve just had a bad hole or a bad shot or a bad front 9…You can recover quickly under this system, if you remain focused…Another thing, be aware of your opponents’ predicament at all times…Win the hole, especially when you see another player about to shoot a triple Bogey or shoot a 10…

Summary…

Looking at this foursome scorecard, one thing stands out..Even though Dave had a better score on the back 9, he made more money on the front 9? Why? Look at hole #7 the Par 5 where he shot an eagle, he made $9.00 on that hole alone and Carl shot a Triple Bogey to boot. That’s how quickly the money can change in this system. You have to be on your toes at all times. There is no “I don’t care shots” anymore, unless you have plenty of money to lose.

The Britt Golfing For Dollars Gambling System

Hey folks, this system was actually developed and designed to improve the quality of your golf game. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Pro, Semi-Pro, Novice or Beginner player, this system will improve your game both mentally and financially.

This system can be adapted to different skill levels as well. If you’re playing with a player with a different handicap, you can collect on the lower pay scale or middle pay scale. The novice or beginner player can collect on the highest pay scale. The Pay Scales can also be increased by simply adding zeros. Instead of each hole being worth a $1.oo, you can make them worth $10.00, $100.00 or even $1,000.00 dollars. It all depends on your groups’ family budget.

The Following Pay Scale is used for 2 in a Group Outing or Semi-Pro/Pro.

Basic Rules (2 in a Group)

$18.00 in Hole Money. Each Hole is worth a $1.00. If you tie, it carries over to the next hole. If you tie on hole #18, then the winner of hole #17 Wins the money for both holes. $2.00..If you tied the 17th hole as well, then the winner of hole #16 Wins the money for all 3 holes. $3.00..etc

Bonus Money (Loser PAYS to the eventual winner of that hole)

If you shoot an EAGLE you get $8.00 in Bonus Money minus your opponent(s)’ Bonus Money.
If you shoot a BIRDIE you get $4.00 in Bonus Money minus your opponent(s)’ Bonus Money.
If you shoot PAR you get $2.00 in Bonus Money minus your opponent(s)’ Bonus Money.
If you shoot BOGEY you get $1.00 in Bonus Money.

Penalty Money PAID to the eventual winner of that hole.

If you shoot a TRIPLE BOGEY you also LOSE $2.00

This system was designed to instill the phrase, “Never Quit”..In this case, you can control how much you lose, especially if you are shooting for DOUBLE BOGEY. If you miss the hole, you not only lose hole money, but penalty money as well. Every shot in this system means something. Afterall you’re not out there to hear birds chirp, unless it’s a golf ball whirling inside the hole for a BIRDIE!

The system was also designed for aggressive play. Go for that EAGLE or BIRDIE for Bonus Money. I hope this system improves your game through concentration and your determination and discipline of not losing money playing golf, by playing lousy golf..Happy Golfing!

Man kan gå på promenad längs “De vackra vyernas järnväg” som Årjäng döpt den gamla järnvägen till.

Man kan ha balanstävlingar. Lova kan. Alla andra kan. Men jag kan aldrig hålla balansen. Aldrig någonsin.

Man kan klättra upp för våta klippor och beundra utsikten.

Man kan hälsa på fåren. Jag har döpt dom till Glenn och Britt. Dom är pratglada och luktar precis lika illa som alla andra får. Fast värmlandsfåren kanske är lite extra fina trots allt?

I haven’t blogged in a while. School consumes me, yes. Don’t let anyone kid you – going back to school when you’re my age is no walk in the park.

Don’t get me wrong – I love it. (And apparently, it loves me, too, because I got my Dean’s List thing in the mail this week for the summer semester – yay!) But the ol’ memory doesn’t retain and recall like it did twenty years ago.

But mostly, it’s been a rough week in my little corner of the Internet. People I dearly love have been hurting hurting hurting. And my motherly instinct to rush in and nurture, make a pot of soup, listen, croon, soothe and uplift has been going into overdrive – all in a comical excercise of futility.

Because, in the end, these people are adults – not children anymore. And I live 1400 miles away.

But I need to set forth a few simple rules here, just in case some moron forgot.

Rule #1: If you are my child, I can yell at you. No one else is allowed to. Ever. And hurt you? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Pity the freaking fool.

Rule #2: If you are good to my child, then you are forever gilded for me. Period. You may be an egomaniacal craptard who annoys the crap out of me regularly – but I adore you. And will in perpetuity.

Rule #3: Once you are good to one of my children – and by that I mean really, really there for said child, then by a mysterious alchemy, you become my child as well. And thus, when you are hurting, I want to mother you. And make it better. Which may be annoying to you, but that’s how it is.

I don’t even want to tell you how many of my kids’ closest friends have, at one time or another, called me their “second mom”.

And I love that. I love them all.

Today my daughter sent a Tweet showing a photo of herself dressed and ready for the Izea conference she is attending this weekend.

And I died.

I’ve seen that look on her face before. It was, I think, about 13 years ago, when she had her first real heartbreak.

She would sit in her room for hours – no, lay on her bed in her room for hours, with John Michael Montgomery’s song “I Can Love You Like That” playing in an endless loop on her CD player. As if she had to hear it over and over and over and try to figure out how someone could say that to her, and then prove otherwise.

She has a senior picture from that time that I loathe with all my heart, because it has the same look. Gaunt. Pale. Bewildered. Wounded and young.

She looked outwardly beautiful in that picture, and she looks outwardly gorgeous in this one.

But I can see.

Rule #4: If you hurt one of my children – whether it’s a child I gave birth to, or a child God gave me through circumstances – I will never forgive you.

Piss them off? That’s cool. I will sit and have a beer with you and commisserate with you about how not-fun it is to have one of my children pissed off at you.

But hurt them?

About twenty years ago, I saw a young man who had really badmouthed my daughter all over town – “uptown” on the street with friends. I jumped out of my car and backed him up against the wall, running my mouth a hundred miles an hour.

To this day, that boy loves me. We just had to get a few rules straight.

As I’ve gotten older, I don’t do stuff like that anymore. And I’ve restrained myself from making phone calls threatening death and mayhem. Not even so much as a text message.

But I don’t forget.

I live by a few simple rules that I thought everyone was clear on.

And even though I won’t (probably), I really want to beat the crap outta someone right now.

One of our favorite families welcomed their newest girl into the world on September 2nd. I finally got to meet her on the 18th and captured her with the camera. she’s not easily manipulated, nor was she convinced being photographed was the best way to spend her friday. she’s going to be (well, already is) an independent thinker with a wide array of facial expressions to emphasize all those independent thoughts!

Bij Britt & Leslie was het spijtig genoeg geen zwoele zomerdag. Het begon als een zonnige dag, maar de regenwolken kwamen al snel tevoorschijn. Toen Britt & Leslie het stadhuis buitenkwamen viel het dan ook met bakken uit de hemel. Ze lieten het echter niet aan hun hart komen. Het werd een ontspannen en supergezellige dag.

Britt & Leslie, geniet met volle teugen van  jullie huwelijk en de huwelijksreis die er nog moet aankomen! 

I det siste har jeg lest en del bøker. Takk og pris for bibliotek sier bare jeg! Tenk om jeg skulle hatt alle disse bøkene hjemme – da hadde leiligheten blitt fort full! Før pleide jeg å låne på Majorstua, men  nå har jeg funnet ut at det er et lite bibliotek på Vik – bare 5 minutter unna der jeg jobber. Her er det ikke fullt så mange innom som i Oslo, så nye bøker finnes faktisk i hyllene – og det er null kø! Glimrende. Ble inspirert av Gretas blogg, og deler herved noen bøker som burde leses:

The expectations were set high, people started to line up at 6am. The buzz was in the air.. Diana and her band graced the stage of Britt with style and charisma. Love and wit notes were tossed prior to the opening song. Diana was funny and smart. Expectations of song, prose, performance and style were met. Each member delivered. The only recommendation for next time, is please sing more songs. Thank you Diana Krall. Southern Oregon appreciates your everything. Diana Krall is fabulous.

Mercer football assistant coach Jeremy Britt produced many big records in high school, he didn’t craft or collaborate with musicians. Britt, pictured here during his four years playing for Centre college, was a three-time All-State running back who produced a load of top ten records in both state and national all-time rankings.

Though the man nicknamed “Pocket Rocket” had a sterling prep career, it was one night in 1997 that put his name on two national records and cemented his reputation as a clutch performer.

Directed by Ray Kay (Lady Gaga’s Pokerface, Beyonce’s Freakum Dress) and shot in Los Angeles, the single is released on September 7th through Geffen Records and Xenomania Records.

Mini Viva’s debut album will be in stores in November.

We kicked off the week with The Fish in Nashville. Britt performed at Opry Mills Mall for Music At The Mills. Great crowd! Thanks to 94fm The Fish for putting on a great event.

Yesterday, she performed in Denver…the place was PACKED! From what we’ve heard there were so many people trying to meet Britt after the event that it was almost impossible for her to get out of there to catch her plane. She had to sneak out the back of the venue! Crazy. Denver rules! Thanks to WAY-FM and Jeff Connell for pulling together an amazing event!

This morning, Britt was live on K-LOVE and AIR1 radio networks. K-LOVE is doing a HUGE “Where In The World Is Britt Nicole” promotion this week. Check it out here. Seriously, what new information do you really learn from attending these conferences? Is your business — as the kingpins are fond of saying — really fast forwarded six months just by attending?

In my opinion, your attendance just allows the kingpins to maintain their outwardly luxurious lifestyles for another six months. That’s why they hold these major functions each three months!
