Die Ihnen nun hier präsentierten Bronze-Skulpturen und Kreuze sind kleine Kunstwerke, die mit sorgfältiger aufwendiger Handarbeit nach alter Tradition per Hand gegossen, achtsam patiniert und versäubert wurden. Handarbeit aus Deutschland. Die Bronzen entstammen aus einer der ältesten niederrheinischen Bronzegießereien und wurden alle von etablierten Bildhauern und Künstlern entworfen.

Die Herstellungsverfahren:

Bronze Sand-Guss

Am Anfang dieses Verfahrens steht das Originalmodell des Künstlers, das aus Holz, Ton, Gips, Kunststoff oder einem anderen Material gestaltet sein muss.
Dieses Modell wird jetzt in einen offenen Formkasten gelegt und mit Sand umgeschichtet. Dieser Formsand ist entweder mit hochwertigem Öl oder klarem Wasser gebunden und wird nun fest per Hand an das Modell angestampft.

Danach wird die Oberseite achtsam geglättet und die gefüllte Formhälfte mit dem Modell umgedreht. Der noch über die Form hinaus stehende Sand wird jetzt zunächst abgetragen und letzlich ein Trennpuder aufgebracht.
Nun wird die zweite Formhälfte oben aufgelegt und ebenfalls mit Sand befüllt und angestampft. Die Formhälften werden nun wieder getrennt und das Modell wird entnommen.  Mit einem Schabeisen werden nun noch die Fließkanten in den Sand geschnitten und auf einer Seite ein Loch als Einguss eingestanzt. Danach werden die Formhälften wieder zusammengefügt und der so entstandene Hohlraum kann nun mit Bronze ausgegossen werden.

Durch die Hitze der flüssigen Bronze verdampft das im Sand gebundene Öl und Wasser und so entsteht eine notwendige zehntelmillimeter dicke Gasschicht zwischen der Sandform und dem eingegossenen Metall.  Der Bronze Sand-Guss eignet sich vor allem für Modelle mit wenig Schneidungen und besonders für einfachere große Formteile.

Das Wachs-Schmelzverfahren

Dieses Gussverfahren entstand in einfacher Form in der Bronzezeit – bereits vor mehr als 4000 Jahren.  Heute wird dabei vom Originalmodell des Künstlers zunächst eine Form aus Silikon hergestellt, einem Material, das in flüssiger Form auf das Modell aufgetragen wird. Danach härtet dies zu einer gummiartigen festen Masse aus. Mit Hilfe dieses Gummimaterials lassen sich besonders hintergriffige wie auch filigrane Modelle exakt abformen.  Die Form wird nun zur Stabilisierung mit einer Gipsschale versehen und aufgeschnitten.

Das Modell kann nun entnommen werden und heißes flüssiges Wachs wird eingegossen. Das Wachs kühlt nun für kurze Zeit ab und wird dann wieder ausgeschüttet. Dieser Vorgang wird einige Male wiederholt, sodass im Inneren der Gummiform eine Wachsschicht entsteht, die in ihrer Stärke der Wandstärke der späteren Bronzefigur entspricht.

Der so entstandene “Wachsabguss” wird nun vorsichtig aus der Silikonform gelöst. Der Former schließt nun daran die Gießkanäle und den Einguss in Form von Stangen-Material aus Wachs an.  Dieses Wachsgebilde wird nun mehrmals sorgfältig in flüssigen Ton getaucht und dazwischen immer wieder mit Schamotte beschichtet.

So entsteht eine mehrere Zentimeter dicke Form aus Ton. Die Form wird dann bei ca. 700 bis 800 Grad Celsius gebrannt. Dabei “schmilzt das Wachs aus”, es verdampft und der Hohlraum, in den im Anschluss daran die Bronze gegossen wird, entsteht.

Das Wachsschmelzverfahren ist eine recht aufwendige Prozedur und eignet sich insbesondere für sehr hochwertige Bronzeplastiken, bei denen es auf die sehr exakte Abformung des Originals ankommt.

Another sculptor that I found in my search. Meg White is an interesting sculptor that she started doing 3D works by paper, and now she uses other materials like bronze,limestone and clay. We finally finished the carrying cases for Optikerne in Copenhagen. They orered 4 of the custom aluminium boxes. All of them featured our trademark crocodile and black leather band.

The engraved crocodiles are actually designs for a sculpture by Royce Milaskey. 4 of them were cast in bronze in Hungray in 2004. They stand on marble bases about 2 meters high and feature either a blown glass lamp or propane flame. They can now be found in Sun Valley Idaho.

Taken from the Monument to Lord Nelson.  Located Exchange Flags, Liverpool.

A 2,000-year-old bronze drum and statue of the sacred cow Nandin are being displayed at the Quang Tri Museum to mark the 64th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 1945).

2,00-year-old bronze drum is being displayed at the Quang Tri Museum.

The drum was recently unearthed in Tra Loc village, Hai Xuan Commune, Hai Lang District in the central province of Quang Tri.

The statue of holy cow Nandin was found in an ancient Champa tower in Kim Dau village, Cam An Commune, Cam Lo District in the province.

According to the ancient Champa people, the Nandin Bull was a pure white bull that the Hindu God Shiva rode on. The sacred cow was also considered a lord of the castle.

The two antiques are now being presented to the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism for recognition as national cultural heritage items.

No último dia 19 estivemos no Bronze Night Club, junto com as bandas O Mínimo e Pensei que Fosse Alguém fazendo bastante barulho por lá. I’ve inadvertently been focusing on various sculptures and statues around town for the past few weeks of Foto Vrijdag entries, so I figured this week I’d intentionally continue the theme with one of the most famous statues here in town. It’s Thinker on The Rock, by Welsh artist Barry Flanagan. There are other versions in cities in the US. We got our version in 2002. He sits facing Neude square, at the end/beginning of Voorstraat. Really, how can you not love this symbol of a free thinker!

Perhaps my unwanted facial features had become more prominent, but I don’t ever remember taking note of them in the past!  While I was being haunted with my facial features I took a step out to purchase a variety of inexpensive cosmetics.  Then, I checked out beauty books and surfed the Internet for tips on wearing makeup.  I didn’t know that I was going to see Christ in what I was reading!

I began to see how the beauty world has borrowed from Christ.  Here is how.  I read about two looks that would make you attractive, the look of bronzed and the dewy look.  These looks sell and they are hot.  That’s when the light came on.  It goes something like this.  The cosmetic world esteems the beauty that is Christ’s thus borrowing from him looks of bronzed and dew!   I’ve seen the terms bronzed-goddess and divine dew used in my readings.  Bronze and dew are used in scripture to describe Christ (Revelation 1 bronzed feet; Numbers 21 bronzed serpent).  Furthermore, beauty belongs to him (Psalms 50:2).  He is the dew from Heaven (Hosea 14:5).  So beauty is about him (Song of Songs 5:9-16). 

I have his beauty because he dwells in me.   If it’s beauty that you seek just know that Christ is the altogether lovely one (Song of Songs 5:16).

ok, my mission to find the right foundation to cover these dark-eye circles is not aborted.  On this journey I might eventually find foundation to match my skin tone, but today I have the Beautiful One in me.  And I am as he is, the lily of the valleys, the rose of Sharon and the fairest (Song of Songs 2).  I see myself as he sees me.

I’m so glad to have so many new Bronze members on my new members area section of my official blog. The past few weeks have been all work for me. It seems I’ve been stretching myself pretty thin between my tattoo studio Adrenalynn INKorperated, building the new members area, and fitting in some time for cam shows. I’m working on rearranging my schedule to make more room and start doing more regular cam shows. Not only will I be having more cam shows, but they will also be earlier in the day for those of you who need live dirtiness in the middle of the day. So be on the look out for schedules and notices of me being LIVE on my cam. I’ll throw up a quick clickable link on my sidebar again so its super easy to get to even if you are just trying to get a a recorded cam session.

The mini monster truck show was fun. I didn’t get super white trashy, just jeans and a tee. I had some pretty funny suggestions for wardrobe on twitter. Sorry to let down everyone who thought I should totally Daisy Duke it up. But not to worry I totally went with blue eyeshadow to seal the deal. I also ate my weight in cotton candy :] Not sure if its because its the holiday season and they have started pumping Christmas music EVERYWHERE, or if I have to spend some time at my Mom’s this week, but today has kind of been one of those days :/ I’m really glad I have all of you to share myself with and keep me busy and my mind occupied. Emails have detailed useful info] While everything on the site is functioning, please keep in mind I’m the only one building and maintaining the site. Cast wax anemone flowers arranged in a symmetrical pattern. I intend to make a wall piece, raising the flowers to make a ‘cage’ structure. This work is based on the ‘bee mantle’. My only problem with this work is exactly how to transform it into bronze.
