E’ molto probabile che a fine anno inizieranno i licenziamenti per 1200 lavoratori ma che potrebbero diventare 9000. I misteri di Agile portano a San Marino

Cambia il management ma gli azionisti restano anonimi. E il sindacato…

Novità in arrivo per Agile, la società alla quale, nel giugno 2009, Eutelia aveva ceduto le attività nel settore dell’ It e dei call center e i 2.200 tecnici (ex Getronics, Olivetti, Bull Italia, Edisontel, Nts) che lavorano al suo interno. Con un giro d’ affari intorno ai 200 milioni di euro, Agile è, dopo Engineering, la seconda società di informatica a capitale italiano. Fino alla fine di settembre, le attività erano rimaste ferme, e buona parte dei dipendenti non aveva ricevuto gli stipendi di luglio e agosto. Durante un recente incontro al ministero dello Sviluppo economico, i vertici di Agile si sono impegnati a pagare gli stipendi entro il 22 ottobre 2009 e a presentare al più presto un piano industriale. Contemporaneamente, è stata annunciata la nomina di un nuovo presidente e ad, Claudio Giannettoni, al posto di Claudio Marcello Massa, che resta nell’ orbita del gruppo, anche se con un ruolo non ancora definito. Direttore commerciale e numero due della società sarà il professionista cagliaritano Sebastiano Liori, che viene indicato da alcuni come il vero azionista di riferimento dell’ intera partita. Sebastiano Liori vanta un lungo curriculum di amministratore di società in fallimento o concordato preventivo. Sebastiano Liori è fratello di Antonangelo, l’ ex direttore dell’ Unione Sarda che insieme all’ editore Nicky Grauso era stato coinvolto nel crack delle cartiere di Arbatax. La vicenda si era conclusa con una condanna per bancarotta ad Antonangelo Liori e Grauso. Sebastiano Liori e Claudio Marcello Massa, pur avendo collaborato con loro nell’ operazione, erano rimasti fuori dalle inchieste giudiziarie. Tornando ad Agile, entro la fine dell’ anno la società sarà fusa con la sua controllante Omega, e le altre due società del gruppo, ovvero Theia e Libeccio. Le quattro aziende dovrebbero dar vita a un’ unica holding. Nella partita potrebbe essere coinvolta anche Phonemedia, un’ altra società di call center, recentemente acquisita dallo stesso gruppo di manager. A preoccupare i dipendenti di Eutelia, che sono ancora in stato di agitazione, è il fatto che «i vertici di Agile non hanno mai comunicato chi sia il loro vero azionista di riferimento e con quali capitali intenda finanziare l’ attività», spiega Gloriana Bracale, della Rsu di Roma. «Dobbiamo trattare con un interlocutore che non sappiamo neppure chi sia realmente». Anche per questo motivo, un gruppo di dipendenti ha impugnato l’ atto di cessione di Agile. Agile è controllata da Omega, che a sua volta è posseduta da Matrix, una piccola società romana (880 mila euro di fatturato, 112 mila di capitale sociale) che stando alle visure camerali risulta essere di proprietà dell’ ex ad Pio Piccini (85%) e della misteriosa finanziaria sanmarinese Fin Project (15%). L’ ipotesi che le Rsu di Agile temono è che, fondendo Omega e Agile, si vogliano scaricare i debiti della prima sulla seconda, finanziando l’ intera partita con le attività ordinarie di Agile stessa, che prima del conferimento di Eutelia vantava clienti come i Comuni di Roma e Milano, la Banca d’ Italia, il Cedacri, la Camera dei deputati. Alcuni di loro (come la Banca d’ Italia) non avrebbero però ancora accettato l’ uscita da Eutelia ad Agile, mettendo così in forse la continuità del contratto di fornitura. Liori (come vicepresidente esecutivo) e Giannettoni (come consigliere indipendente) fino all’ estate scorsa avevano avuto un ruolo importante in Omnia network, la società di Call center che ha sede a Corsico, in provincia di Milano, e versa da tempo in uno stato di grave crisi. Questa circostanza aveva spinto alcuni a ipotizzare un collegamento fra Omnia e Omega, ma nei mesi successivi ciascuna delle due aziende è andata per la sua strada.

Le acquisizioni del Gruppo Omega, da Eutelia/Agile a Phonemedia, e la situazione generale di tutti i lavoratori, dimostrano che nessuna logica industriale muove la proprietà.

La recente scomparsa di un nostro collega per un infarto improvviso si colloca nel terribile clima di tensione e di abbattimento morale che si respira in questa azienda.

 E’ ora di dire BASTA!! I lavoratori sono stanchi di essere vessati e ricattati da una proprietà inumana, pilotata da esperti in fallimenti aziendali, avvezza solo alle speculazioni economiche ignorando le attività industriali.

 Solo un urgentissimo intervento della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, con l’obiettivo di affrontare il nodo della proprietà e delle logiche delle operazioni condotte sulle spalle dei lavoratori e della collettività, può aprire una fase nuova, salvaguardando quelle attività ancora presenti in azienda e dando prospettive occupazionali ai lavoratori.

Questo sta accadendo nel silenzio più totale, nonostante varie manifestazioni anche eclatanti (incatenamenti davanti a Ministeri competenti, salite sui tetti delle sedi, occupazioni delle sedi), sembra che nessuno si accorga di noi.

Il Governo ci ignora, sembra che il destino di quasi  9000 famiglie non lo
interessi nemmeno!

Non stiamo percependo alcun stipendio nè rimborsi spese ormai da 3 (tre) mesi!!!!!!!!!!  (conosco colleghi cinquantenni, con mutui e/o affitti, che per mantenere la famiglia chiedono soldi a genitori e  suoceri!!!!!!!!)

Vista la situazione qualcuno ha pensato di usare il tam-tam delle mail come la vecchia “catena di S. Antonio” per fare conoscere la nostra situazione al più alto numero di persone possibile, sperando che arrivi alle orecchie di qualcuno….”in alto”.

Tutto quello che vi chiedo è : Inviare al più presto una mail con l’allegato al maggior numero di amici possibile, con la preghiera che loro lo inviino al maggior numero di amici possibile.
In questo modo in pochi giorni migliaia, forse, milioni di persone saranno al corrente di quanto ci sta succedendo e chissà che la voce non arrivi a chi è in grado di farsi sentire.

Having spent time in the Soviet Union, Turkey, China, etc., I thought I knew what it felt like to be in a different world.  But those were easy to prepare for.  The languages were different, I had long hours on airplanes, etc.  This week’s trip to the North American International Livestock Expo (NAILE) felt similar in someways.  Now before anyone is offended, let me explain.

Since a livestock show was all new to me… I had to wonder about the basics and do a little research.  I had a few friends who had been so I asked questions.  I also sought moral support from people who weren’t sure what to expect.  And was amazed by how many people said they wanted to know what I’d find out!

As my previous post said, it started in the Memphis airport as a great guy named Marty Ropp gave me a few tips & later handed me reading material from the Simmental association.   From there, I became dependent on friends — some whom I’d never met, others I’d known briefly, and others long-time friends.  I needed everyone of them!

In retrospect, Sunday was spent trying to get my bearings.  I was naive enough to think I was learning some things as Mike & Pam Haley as well as some of their friends walked me through some basics.  I spent time with them in the barn, seeing at least what breeds were there.  And I watched some of the show… please don’t ask me any questions about that and I’ll tell you no lies!  While I’m a multi-tasker who thinks mosaically, the two rings with different breeds side-by-side, kept me a bit confused.

Sunday night I did my first visit with a non-ag friend.  And I’m sorry to say, I think I was able to convince Mark & Denise I’d learned a thing or two!

Monday was spent going a bit deeper.  Mike & Pam had a heifer they were putting in the auction so they were busy with prep.  I divided time by visiting with them in the stall as work was going on, trying to stay out of the way and yet ask questions.  They and friends from the Missing Rail were so gracious helping me pick up things that probably seemed innate to them.

I also spent time in the show… both on my own and with my friend Andy Vance.  Andy has shorthorn cattle.  Sitting with him reminded me of going to baseball games with some friends.  He had a scorecard of sorts… all the breeders & buyers did.  And close notes were taken.  I began to find out how judges made determinations.  Most had an eye on two things — the appearance of the cattle and the contributions they could have to breeding in an operation.

It finally snapped in that this was not as foreign as I’d been thinking.  I have talked to LOTS of breeders… they just tend to work with plants!  The physique of the animals began to make more sense as I listened to the judges describe the entrants.  And by Monday evening’s auction, I was feeling like I may have understood a percentage of what was being said.  Again, I took a mental break to see a friend who was intrigued by my decision to attend a livestock show for vacation.

By Tuesday, I’d hit my stride a bit.  Mike, Pam & the team from Missing Rail had both stalls hopping with prep of the heifers, cow & bull to be shown.  (Yes, I even started to call them by more accurate labels rather than simply saying cattle!  My hosts were proud.  Okay, that may be taking it too far, but I do think they noticed.  : )

By having two days of some shows, I was actually able to follow the judges comments for the post part!  Black Simmental heifers don’t all look the same — I actually followed what they were saying as the animals were showed around the ring.  I was so impressed as Pam showed three — two heifers in different age classes and a bull.  And when they slowly pulled all the heifers but two out… we knew that Midnight was getting a great ribbon & would be back out for a show.  Durango (the bull) was the last of the list to show.  He also got a second turn in the ring.

Some of the things that stood out for me:

Time to hit the showers... for the cattle at least!

• The role of genetics, testing both pre-sale and on-site added a depth of info I didn’t expect.
• Competition between breeders/breeds is friendly but serious too.  People love the choices they’ve made for their own farms.
• To a person, everyone was welcoming even if they thought I was from Mars having never been to a livestock auction/show.  Everyone was very willing to talk about their operation, how they approach beef production, herd management, etc.
• Questions asked were answered… even when I felt kindergartners on-site could help me build my knowledge base.
• The animals I saw were incredibly well cared for.  They were combed, stalls were made incredibly comfortable (risers, fans, woodchips, etc.)
• Owners & handlers worked incredibly hard some getting only a few hours sleep, standing on hard ground, etc (unlike the cattle!)  And while the cattle were routinely fed & watered… well, some of the farmers weren’t!

• The focus is on how to build a better cattle herd on individual farms and across the country.  The network is incredible!  People who have one breed, know the reputations of the others in that breed and you can see the respect for people who put a lot into their cattle & yield returns.
• The ability to trim up a bull or heifer is something I’ll never be able to do… I’d be too jittery and the result would not be good for sales or showing!

As I get some time to really look through my photos and videos, I’m sure lots more learnings will come to mind — I should have been taking notes!

Oh… and I failed to mention, if you ever need cowboy boots… A show like NAILE is the perfect place to buy!  I got a great pair!  So like any trip to another world, I brought back a lot of photos, some new ideas and a bit of that world to integrate into mine.  And I think I may just revisit it!
