Cartman, Kyle, Stan si Kenny au incheiat de curand si cel de-al 13-le sezon “South Park”.

Printre episoadele importante ale acestui sezon se numara episodul “Dead Celebrities”, dedicat in mare parte lui Michael Jackson, episodul “Fishsticks” – o satira binemeritata plasata lui Kanye West, si evident episodul “The Ring”, o parodie adresata canalului Disney, dar cu precadere fratilor Jonas.

Asa cum am fost obisnuiti, Kenny ne-a parasit in aproape toate episoadele, dar s-a intors printre noi de fiecare data. Cartman a lasat deoparte visul de a castiga 10 milioane de dolari, dar si-a dedicat viata dreptatii (ep. The Coon), iar Butters s-a transformat in pimp. (ep. Butters Bottom Bitch).

De asemenea Cartman s-a apucat de cantat, interpretand piesa “Poker Face” a lui Lady GaGa in episodul “Whale Whores”.

I like to minimise the use of margarine type spreads because none of them are very healthy. I still use them, of course, but aim for moderation. It is easy to replace them sometimes with pureed avocado or hummus or other bean-based spreads (home made). I have also been longing to play with home made nut butters for some time now.

I have made cashew butter and peanut butter – both so very delicious and useful in many ways, not just for spreads. For example, this morning I had cashew butter on my porridge with some coconut oil and fruit. Very good!

The peanut butter is so fresh and vital made this way, I urge you to try it and compare the taste with your purchased one.

It is so easy to make them. Imagine the kids coming home from school and you say “let me whip you up a fresh batch of peanut butter for your snacks!”

Nut Butters

Take a cup of raw, unsalted nuts (cashews, walnuts, peanuts, macadamias, pinenuts, pistachios, brazil nuts, hazelnuts, pecans, almonds, or a combination) and place into the food processor. Let the processor run for 2 minutes or so until the nuts are ground and forming a paste. They will look a little grainy. At this point, add a little oil and a pinch of salt, and then continue to process until ground and creamy.

Use a tasteless oil if you can – grapeseed or peanut oil would be fine. Cashews will take 1 – 2 Tblspns of oil, but peanuts, being oilier nuts, may take less. Pistachio butter is quite dry and grainy but can be combined with thick yoghurt or cream cheese.

A little sugar or honey can be added with the oil, but is not strictly necessary.

Nuts can be roasted or toasted prior to blending into butter for a deeper taste.

It is funny to see your latest comments on BTLS and not on Kids In Peril. The author of that board also deleted almost every comment you had, “Stop Scammers” “Helper”, “E-Tard” and “Butters”. How funny is that? I find it hilarious.

I’d like to bet that you have all the comments from that blog copied and on your computer somewhere. I wish I would have thought to do that, because KarenCCC’s comments to your lying and hypocritical ways were great! She had you right under her thumb, where you couldn’t move. I applaud the author for getting rid of the garbage that was written there by these father supporters. It was sad to see that the baby supporters had to succumb to the baiting these babbling morons had to say. But it was necessary, so it seemed.

Why are you hypocrites? Aaaah, let me remind the public of who took KarenCCC’s email address from “I-Report” and stalked her and obtained all of her personal information and then published it on three forums. Who was it? Oh yes, it was PattyCake07. And from what I saw on Kids In Peril, Butter’s first name and where she grew up was the only thing posted. There was no address or phone number or email address posted. How is that putting Butters in danger? You encouraged people to visit, write and call KarenCCC! You taunted and dared the public to visit this woman who has children. You are vile people. PleaseHelp did nothing of the sort.

I will say that I did not give anyone’s email address to anyone. But that’s ok, you don’t have to believe me. No skin off my nose. I don’t care.

Everytime you lie, hypocrites, I will be here to tell the public the truth. And also, Butters, my blog will be here for a long time. I am only speaking of my opinion. Your threats do nothing to me.

I’d suggest to stop posting your lies and defaming PleaseHelp, Connie and Mr. Bedwell. Mr. Bedwell’s stalking charges were dropped when they found out his former employers were convicted of murdering and covering up a murder of a young woman in Alaska. He was helping with the investigation. You should really do research before spreading your lies. I’d really tread lightly and tighten up those loose lips.

I’d say “good-day hypocrites”, but I don’t really care if you have one or not.

Yesterday my coworkers threw me a baby shower AND IT WAS HILARIOUS. I nearly peed myself. The shower was a fantastic surprise. See my editor called me and let me know a honcho from our publication was in the building for a meeting and wanted to meet me. I instantly responded ‘no way! I look like shit today!’ That didn’t matter. Next thing I knew I was brushing my teeth and pepping myself up. On the way back from the bathroom I took note that MY ENTIRE DEPT WAS MISSING. hmmm. This editor would be the least likely person to dupe me…UNLESS! So I kinda had a feeling at that point and I was right. ahhh ha! They really outdid themselves. It was halloween themed with posters of the character butters from south park where we got butters name from. There were butters tags, butter on the table, butter cake, a butters bobble head… you get the point. But there was also and abundance of food, including cat litter cake, gifts galore, and more laughter than I knew what to do with. What really surprised me though was how humbling it all was. So many people turned out and chipped and brought gifts and made goodies. I just can’t get over how much kindness enveloped the room. It made all those shitty days of working late worth it. I work with great, amazing, wonderful people that make those awfulnogoodverybad days so much better! I’d be lost without them.

Thank you so much tam, mak, amanda, monica, el, jill, lindsay and andrea for planning such a wonderful shower! And thank you lindsay for the photos.

a note on the photos -
Upper left – Lindsay had the great idea to photoshop mine and bob’s faces to the most recent duggar family photo. With a little help from Tam and flickr, objective complete. And I nearly fell over laughing at that. Those duggars!

Upper right – Instead of a bonus this year, the ABA kindly gave the staff fleece pullovers embroidered with the ABA logo. If you filled out your form without a name, the ABA kindly called you to let you know the name is mandatory. Now butters has his or her very own ABA fleece.

Lower left – totally creepy baby made by lindsay – made up of all things that butters can use: sheets, hat, sleeper, bib, rattles, pacifier, etc. did I mention, creepy. It also came wrapped in an amazingly soft pooh blanket that I’ve been eyeing up for months now and never got around to getting.

I created a tin-foil helmet a few years back for a spartan halloween costume. Sometime between then and now, I came up with the fantastic idea of being Professor Chaos from South Park. Here is a step-by step for the helmet. The rest of the costume has yet to be finished: I need a turquoise t-shirt, green cape, and some more tin foil to put around my hands and shoes. The end result should look like this:

Bad Ass.

After an amazing evening watching live WWE “wrestling” the boys decide that they want to take up wrestling themselves. Upon joining the wrestling team at school and deciding that the “wrastling” teacher just wants them to be gay together (not that there’s anything wrong with that), they form the WTF, their own wrestling organization.

It’s just for fun, and they have a great time staging their ridiculous wrestling plots, including sleeping with each others’ girlfriends and being half-siblings with one another, but then people start watching, and the WTF grows and grows. Every redneck in town thinks that the plots are real – that Cartman dressed up as Stan’s girlfriend really did have 7 abortions as a 9 year old.

The “wrastling” teacher grows increasingly frustrated at the misconceptions about what wrestling really is, especially after being fired for not being useful to the school anymore and having gay porn (wrestling videos) on his phone.

As the WTF grows in acclaim, it comes to the attention of WWE and Vince McMahon, who comes to South Park to watch a match and potentially recruit someone into the WWE. Striving for their best and most dramatic performance to date – since they’ve realized that wrestling is just acting – the boys put on a killer show in which Cartman, addicted to abortions, has one right their on stage. Moreover, one of his aborted babies survived and comes back to confront him.

“Get back to the dumpster where you belong!”

And the people all believe it! Incredulity was not the name of the game.

3 Things I Loved About This Episode

1. They killed Kenny for the first time in a while – in Spanish! Like most, I got tired of Kenny’s perpetual deaths (though I have a theory about his resurrection…), but once in a while it’s amusing to kill him. Why this time? Because his wrestling character was El Pollo Loco (The Crazy Chicken), and it was all the Mexicans who loved him.

The episode ends with the “wrastling” teacher attempting to kill Vince McMahon with a rocket launcher. However, when the rocket sputters out on the stage where the kids are wrestling, Kenny grabs the rocket and is shot into the sky and explodes.

Will he return in the next episode!?

2. The reference to the episode, “Goodbacks,” in which the entire town hates the people from the future because they “Took our jobs!” which degrades into “Dey duk er jers!” and worse.

In this episode this only got more ridiculous as the “wrastling” teacher told his tale of woe, and everybody echoed the sentiments he was expressing:

“They took his job!”

“De duk ur doob!”

“They broke his jaw!”

“They took his dog!”

3. The fact that all of the rednecks were drinking wine while watching wrestling. Why? I think because they were trying to be sophisticated along the lines of wrestling being good acting and the wrestling experience being akin to a theater experience (like when Vince McMahon has a Playbill).

I’ve been working real crazy on some new music, keep your ears peeled!!!

(Season 13, Episode 9)

If I were a ho, I’d definitely want Butters as my bitch. Man, events spiraled out of control so quickly on this show. And yet Butters was in complete control the whole time. I loved how he stayed his kind and sweet self, and yet he fully embraced the lingo of the street pimp.

“Yes, I understand what you are saying. You don’t have to keep asking me.”

Wow, was that hilarious, because I’ve heard so many people from urban areas overuse the expression “You know what I’m saying.” So subtle, but brilliant.We didn’t have girls in my grade school selling their kisses for five dollars (well it wouldn’t have been that high back then anyway), but I can see why Butters saw it as a lucrative business. I was proud of him that he let those bitches go free and independent when he realizes he’s denying his girls love.

Still, he got them low-income housing opportunities via ACORN before he shut down, so that’s to be commended.

On the other end of the spectrum, we had Sgt. Yates of the South Park police force (a man) going undercover as a prostitute to try and track down this mysterious prostitution ring that suddenly cropped up in South Park. He also proved himself to be the worst undercover agent ever.

Someone should mention to them that you can arrest them as soon as they pay you. You don’ t have to go through with whatever depraved sexual act they’re paying for first. Even though you know it was coming, it was still funny every time.

Except for the last time, when it was beyond ridiculous even for South Park. Yates winds up falling in love with his pimp, marrying him and doesn’t spring the badge and gun on him until their first anniversary?! I don’t even want to know how he was performing sexually with these men … I really don’t.

Last week, 6-YEAR-OLD ZACHARY CHRISTIE of Newark, Delaware was suspended from his elementary school for bringing a camping utensil to school. The school district, who had adopted a zero-tolerance weapons policy, also sentenced Christie to 45 DAYS IN REFORM SCHOOL. This story has been developing for a few days as parents, teachers and legislators expressed a general sentiment that the punishment was unfair.

The New York Times reported that Christie was “so excited about recently joining the Cub Scouts” so he took a camping utensil to school that serves as a knife, fork and spoon. Everyone agreed that Christie is a bright student and a happy-go-lucky first grader, so why the harsh punishment? The Times’ article suggested that zero-tolerance policies on weapons in school districts have formed in part because of shootings at schools like COLUMBINE and VIRGINIA TECH, but have these kinds of policies gone too far?

After a Tuesday night meeting, school board officials in Christie’s school district decided to revise the zero-tolerance policy and allow Christie to go back to school.

Also this week, in Troy, NY, an Eagle Scout was suspended because of his school district’s zero-tolerance weapons policy. MATTHEW WHALEN was suspended for 20 days because school officials found a 2-inch pocketknife in an emergency kit in his car. Whalen, whose father is a military man, is concerned this suspension will have a negative impact when WEST POINT MILITARY ACADEMY evaluates his application. Unlike the school district in Zach Christie’s case, Whalen’s seems to be standing by their zero-tolerance policy and will still enforce Whalen’s 20-day suspension.

I also hope everyone watched South Park tonight. If you didn’t catch it, the episode will be repeated at midnight. There’s a great part that highlights the ACORN CONTROVERSY, which I never have the mental capacity to write about.

When the boys harass Butters for not ever having kissed a girl, Butters ponies up the $5 to kiss Sally, a girl who kisses boys behind the trailers. This rise to manhood makes Butters realize that he needs to start making a living. Upon bringing boys to Sally for $5 kisses and getting a cut, Butters’ enterprise only snowballs from there.

Butters becomes South Park’s newest pimp – and he’s damn good at it. He gets more girls to make more money and eventually he’s rakin’ it in. After attending a pimp convention, Butters learns the lingo, getting straight who his hos and bitches are, and always saying, “Do you know what I am saying?”

“Yes, I know what you are saying. You don’t have to keep asking me.”

As his kissing company grows, Butters starts to get adult prostitutes who want a pimp that respects them and doesn’t beat them – and that’s Butters. With so much money coming in he goes to ACORN and even gets low income housing and medicare for his bitches.

At the end of the episode, Butters is inspired by the true love of a pimp and an undercover cop dressed as a prostitute, which makes him get out of the pimpin’ game, realizing that the money women make – whether for kissing or listening to a man’s mother fu#@in problems – is their money.

This episode was hysterical. The plot was hilarious and ridiculous and there were tons of good ol’ South Park lines that just made you laugh. It was great when Stan threatened Butters for harassing Wendy and when Butters offered Clyde $100 to protect him if Stan came over.

Cook: 25 Mins

4 Cups Pumpkin Puree or 2-15 oz cans of pumpkin

1 1/4 Cups pure maple syrup

1/2 Cup apple juice

2 Tablespoons lemon juice

2 Teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 Teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 Teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 Teaspoon salt

Optional: Chopped Hazelnuts

1. In a 3 Qt dutch oven combine all ingredients except for the nuts. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat, stirring frequently – 25 minutes or until thick. If it is splattering everywhere you can reduce the heat. Remove from heat and cool.

2. Ladle into jars or freeze containers leaving at least 1/2″ of space at the top. Cover, store in refrigerator up to 1 week or freeze up to 6 months.

3. To serve top with chopped nuts

Makes 4 1/2 Cups which is 36 servings of 2 Tbsps each.
