La distancia es uno de mis temas tanto en música como en filosofía. El hecho de no poder encontrarte con quien deseas porque está a miles de kilómetros te llena de tristeza e impotencia.

La canción que nos ocupa hoy, One more time, one more chance, es el ending de la película de animación japonesa Byousoku 5 cm. En ella, aparecen varias historietas interrelacionadas indirectamente en la que en todas ellas el tema básico es la distancia. Os la recomiendo.

Eu disse várias vezes que a qualidade gráfica do anime é alta, e encontrei na internet algumas fotos para provar. Acima será uma screenshot do anime e abaixo uma foto tirada da localidade real da screenshot. Cinco centímetros por segundo é a velocidade que uma pétala de cerejeira leva para cair ao chão, e tudo o que os jovens Takaki e Akari queriam era ter a chance de vê-la cair mais uma vez, juntos. Quando eram crianças se aproximaram devido a fragilidade de ambos, que preferiam passar o tempo na biblioteca da escola a ficar no pátio brincando com as outras crianças. Passavam muito tempo juntos, até que devido ao trabalho dos pais, Akari precisou mudar de cidade, restando como meio de comunicação cartas que enviavam um ao outro. Foi somente anos após a mudança que conseguiram combinar de se encontrar, nem que fosse pela última vez.

Byousoku 5cm é um conjunto de três curtas que falam, assim como diz o título, da distância entre Takaki e Akari. O filme já havia sido recomendado a mim, que com tantos elogios me fez esperar muito, e mesmo assim ele conseguiu me surpreender. A começar pela qualidade de animação, que é soberba. O cenário é rico em detalhes, com uma animação fluida. Makoto Shinkai, o diretor e roteirista, me cativou com o seu primeiro curta lançado, “Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko”, em português, “Ela e seu gato”, e novamente me surpreendeu com Beyond the Clouds, mas Byousoku 5cm foi além. O diretor soube utilizar a seu favor a animação de alta qualidade, feita pelo estúdio CoMix Wave, e a trilha sonora, composta por Tenmon, o mesmo compositor da trilha de Beyond the Clouds, para colaborar no seu objetivo de contar a história de uma maneira sublime.

Quem assistiu Beyond the Clouds conhece a paixão de Makoto Shinkai por ficção, e neste seu último projeto ele resolveu se aproximar mais de suas origens em Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko e retratar o mundo da maneira mais realista possível, o que pode ser observado no roteiro, que retrata o amor que surgiu de uma amizade entre duas crianças, a maneira como o assunto é abordado, mostrando inclusive as fraquezas de cada um dos participantes, e na animação, possuidora de detalhes tamanhos que é possível perceber desde paredes lascadas até o reflexo na água.

Se você não assistiu ainda, este anime é mais que recomendado, e se você já assistiu, com certeza vale a pena assistir mais uma vez! Aqui estão algumas imagens (embora em baixa resolução) para vocês terem uma idéia da qualidade do anime.

“5 Centimeters Per Second” is a story drawn about a boy who
acts as the axle of an animated chain of three separate,
independent short stories. The setting of the story
stretches from Japan of the early 1990’s to Japan of today.
As the boy’s life changes, so do the places in the animation
- ranging from Tokyo to other various places in the Kantou
region.

In this work, there are no sci-fi, fantasy or any other
fictional elements found commonly in many other animation
works. In exchange for all of that, we are trying to instead
display reality as it really is after having performed some
very thorough location hunting.

Our everyday lives are indeed mostly not filled with
dramatic ups and downs, shocking betrayals, or sudden
revelations. However, in the end, despite all that, the
world still continues to live on filled to the brim various
beauties and richnesses.

Right now, we’re aiming to make such a work that will catch
those sides of reality mentioned above so that even after
you’re done watching the movie, you’ll be able to take a new

Byousoku 5cm, this movie is so touching, its so sad that made me wanted to cry, well only those people who are inlove would understand what I mean ^^. Watch it after the jump~

Fan Service es la inclusión de escenas provocativas en la series. Normalmente estas situaciones se dan través de personajes femeninos (aunque también hay Fan service Masculino) que llevan ropa muy sensual y atractiva o incluso poca ropa.

El tipo más común de Fan Service es el de las Maids, personajes muy muy comunes en las series ecchi. En cualquier caso no debemos de pensar que el Fan service es sinónimo de Hentai, porque no guarda ninguna relación directa.

Si estamos interesados podemos ver una serie que se basa casi entera en este concepto de Fan Service + Maids. Se llama “He is my master” (Kore Ga Watashi No Goshujin)

Podríamos decir que hay dos corrientes para ver el anime. Algunos espectadores disfrutan con el Fan service considerandolo como una parte más del anime y el manga. Por el otro lado tenemos otro sector más pragmatico que prefiere que las series no tengan distraciones y se centren en contar una historia. Así que una vez más estamos ante una situación donde los gustos terminan decidiendo.

Además alrededor del Fan Service hay una buena industria del marketing, sobre todo en concepto de figuritas de pvc, que en general vuelve locos a todos los aficionados (entre los que yo mismo me incluyo). ¿La pega? son relativamente carillas. Hay de todas las series habidas y por haber, y por supuesto cuanto más grandes y mas realistas más caras. Aunque las normales suelen medir entre 10 y 12 centimetros.

En resumen, quien quiera ver Fan Service en las series está de suerte, en casi todas hay un poco. Sobre todo en las más comerciales. Quien no…pues aun quedan series, mangas y películas sin ello, aunque son una minoría. Podéis probar Byousoku 5 centimeter, mi película de animación favorita y sin nada de Fan service.

3 parts in this series, first two parts are around 25mins long and the concluding piece is just over 10mins. Gave it a try when I read about this from various anime blogs. The anime is as polished as I read it was, so pretty it made me tap my screen capture key a little too much. ;P

Mandatory sakura blossom scene. This is what the title is referring to, 5cm/s is the speed of falling sakura petals as told by Akari (the girl on the left)

First part introduces us to Takaki and Akari. That’s the two in the pictures. It seems that both of them have something in common and unfortunately that common thing happens to be that both have quite a vagabond-ish kind of life. So its not surprising that the two onely souls who didn’t have much friends find comfort in each other.

As testament that life sucks both in real life and anime, Akari had to change schools again. But still she and Takaki manages to keep in touch mostly using snail mail. Kind of surprising how both of them kept up to a long distance relationship without any aid from modern tech added to the fact that both of them were pretty young (middle schoolers) means they have the maturity that is needed for this kind of thing.

Soon after even Takaki have to move away to a remote island (Gawd).

As things goes he wanted to see Akari before he leaves so off he goes on a train all the way to Iwafune in the dead of winter.

The ticket will wipe out his allowance =P

Trains running late – bad weather is common in winter. Which is why you must always plan ahead.

Right, back on topic. The train scenes are what I think is central to this part. Lots of monologues from Takaki as he got plenty of time to reflect on himself, recall events from the past and worries about Akari. Bad thing happened was when he lost the letter he had written which he was gonna give to Akari. *sigh*

Anyway the meeting didn’t go bad. Eating handmade food from bento (lucky bastard ^^) and taking walk in the falling snow to the sakura tree where they kissed.

Snow falls at 5cm/s just like sakura blossoms.

The next morning Takaki had to leave, without telling her about the letter he had lost (he felt that something had changed after the kiss). Interesting was that apparently Akari had written a letter too. So why she had not given him her letter? Hmmm…

Just complete this movie by Makoto Shinkai (誠新海) after hearing so much about it.

Un film composé de 3 petites histoires différentes, réalisé par Makoto Shinkai.

Visuellement bluffant, même si la team qui l’a subbé n’a pas pu l’avoir en HD, on en prend plein les mirettes *_* (Il n’y a qu’à voir l’image ci-dessus) Du grand art quoi >.<

D’ailleurs c’est bien pour ça que j’ai eu envie de regarder ce film =D

L’histoire en elle même est assez banale, une histoire de 2 personnes qui s’aiment mais se retrouvent séparés par la distance. Bien que je n’ai jamais aimé ce genre d’histoire, pour une fois… je me suis laissée emporter par la magie de Byousoku 5 Centimeter. Les voix sont empreintes des sentiments des personnages (sur ce coup, les seiyuus sont fantastiques >.<), on ressent réellement quelque chose. (Et ouais, j’étais même un peu triste après avoir regardé ce film xD)

L’insert song de Yamazaki Masayoshi, « One more time, one more chance » colle assez bien à l’histoire du film (je pense notamment aux paroles) et puis les images bordel ! >_<

En tout cas, encore une fois même si ce n’est pas du tout mon style de musique, j’ai été séduite par cette chanson (surtout pour les images qui me reviennent en tête à chaque fois que je l’écoute =w=’’)

Donc voilà mes impressions, et je vous encourage vivement à regarder ce film car c’est un véritable chef d’œuvre même pour ceux pas adepte du genre ^^

(Pour trouver ce film en vostfr, il y a une team de fansub que j’apprécie particulièrement pour la qualité de ses traductions et de ses releases : Nerae, en tout cas… Google est ton ami =p)

Pour finir cet article qui change de mes divagations bizarroïdes habituelles, je mets quelques images du film (enfin wallpapers tirés du site officiel du film ^^) Appréciez cette qualité… car rare sont des films d’animation aussi beaux ;p

I recently just watched this movie and let me tell you it is a master piece if you haven’t seen this movie already I’d suggest you go watch it right now. The art is just amazing but I aspect it from Makoto SHINKAI.

The story line is what really grabbed me I mean two child hood lovers trying to find each other again. Is a great story line I’d just wish that there were more anime series like this movie. Here are a few clips from YouTube that I really enjoyed
