Last week we looked at the present and the future. We saw that the man of lawlessness is currently restrained, but there will come a day when the restraining influence is removed. He will come with, “All power and signs and false wonders.” The only way to be saved from open rebellion is to embrace the truth that is found in Jesus Christ.

This morning, we’re going to look at Paul’s challenge to us as God’s children.

The first thing we see is the result. “Those who perish, [perish] because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.” We saw last week that the unpardonable sin was not a specific sin, but a rejection of the truth. Jesus is “full of grace and truth” according to John 1:14. “For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.” (John 1:17) We are to worship, “In spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24) John 8:32 says, “And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” That know is know and understand. That means embracing the truth of who Jesus is and what He stands for. The result is that we are free from the dominion of sin.

V. 11 completes this thought. “For this reason.” Because they did not choose the truth. “They will believe what is false” I don’t want you to misunderstand the wording of this verse. “For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false.” This does not mean what you think it means. Don’t blame God because they believed error. Don’t blame God because people are duped into believing something ridiculous. Don’t blame God for the seemingly endless personal, relative doctrines out there. Don’t blame God that people don’t believe the truth when we have so many supposed Christians engaging in the things of the world.

V. 12 goes on to say, “In order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.” Judged comes from the word that means to distinguish or decide; to separate or choose. It is those that did not believe the truth that will be judged. Did you notice both ends of the spectrum in this verse? It’s not just that they did not believe the truth, but they delighted in wickedness. Truth has moral implications and makes moral judgments. When you consider all of this, it is not the error that is necessarily bad.

We have guidance for handling error. In Luke 21:15 Jesus said, “I will give you utterance and wisdom which none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute.” Titus 1:9: “Holding fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, so that he will be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict.” Evil is the root cause of the error. This is really clear teaching, but let me summarize it for you.

• They delight in wickedness.
• They did not believe and love the truth.
• Satan deceives them.
• God gives them over to the lies they believe.
• They are condemned and perish.

That’s the progression. It doesn’t start with the condemnation. It starts with a love for evil. The only way to be protected from this slippery slope of deception is to love and embrace the truth. We are living in a time of restraint, but apostasy or rebellion is coming next. Then the consequences of that rebellion will come when the Lord will defeat and destroy the Antichrist and those that believed what is false – those that believed the lies – will be condemned.

Paul doesn’t stop there, he’s always good for some encouragement. Its an exciting segue. Paul has just talked about those that will perish. They perish because they did not love the truth. They chose to delight in wickedness. Then Paul utters that great word in Scripture. Look at v. 13. Paul is thankful for the Thessalonians. The contrast is between those that perish and those that won’t. He’s thankful that they had been chosen. Don’t be scared by that word.   All people have been chosen. John 3:16, “God so loved the world.” 2 Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not willing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Eph. 1:4, “He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him.” 1 Thes. 4:7, “For God has not called us for the purpose of impurity, but in sanctification.”

Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” Look at the context of the whole verse. “God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.” The choosing is from the beginning. The two-part method is first through sanctification by the Spirit. Sanctification consists of two things and I often refer to them as two types of sanctification. First, sanctification occurs as a result of salvation.  At the moment of conversion, the Holy Spirit enters our life. We are no longer held hostage by death, but are free to live the life God desires for us. So we are sanctified simply because of our standing as lost people saved by grace.

The second side of sanctification is the one that many Christians seem to struggle with and that is learning to do what is right, what is pleasing to God. It doesn’t take long for new Christians to realize that a battle has begun in our lives. Galatians 5:17; “For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh.” Sanctification gives us the ability to please God, to walk in a manner that is worthy of the One we serve. This is the aspect of progressive sanctification. Many times it takes someone to teach us what the Bible says about godly living – discipleship. I encourage you to read Romans; it is the foundational book of our faith and our walk with Christ. Sometimes people speak about how they can’t change or stop a particular behavior.  And that’s true, but we can all be changed. “Our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin.” (Rom. 6:6) Romans 6:11-13 is an incredible passage that tells us that it is the Spirit of God that sanctifies.

The second part of that method is, “We are chosen . . . through faith in the truth.” Look at our final verse. Verse 14 tells us that the Gospel is how all of us have been called. It doesn’t matter if we came to realize the truth of the Gospel through preaching, Bible reading, or a personal testimony.

Paul has one last thought for this verse. We can, “Gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” John 17:22 says, “The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one.” God’s glory, not our own. That’s exciting.

We need to recognize Who is doing the work in our lives. The challenge is to allow God to work in us and through us.

In recent weeks, both ITV and Channel4 have appointed new Chairmen – men who will ultimately be charged with leading the broadcasters out of the worst advertising dip in history, and into an ever fragmenting media world where their license to broadcast isnt going to be worth the paper it’s printed on.

Both have plumped for ex Tories, with C4 and ITV appointing Lord Terry Burns and Archie Norman respectively. In itself, this is not extraordinary – opinion polls have been showing anti Labour, or specifically anti Brown sentiment for some time, the majority of the country, and it seems big business is expecting a Conservative government at the next election. The new chairmen will need to have sway in the corridors of power.

I think it does become interesting when you place this decision in the context of Cameron’s rumoured pact with Murdoch, he of droopy face and much bile concerning the value of content in a digital age.  Whilst any deal done is likely to harm the public channels – BSkyB, ITV and C4 are all after the same thing, which Cameron and his new administration, would be positioned to deliver. Simply they are after change, a shake up of the Status Quo.

ITV will want Ofcom’s wings clipped and the removal of CRR, C4 as a public service broadcaster will want security from the government – probably in the form of cash, or a merger with a private company such as BBC Worlwide. They were left in limbo following Lord Carter’s murky finale to his Digital Britain report. Sky will want anything which hampers the strength of the BBC, whether that be a top slicing of the license fee or increased scrutiny of how the beeb is spending public cash. Ultimately this could help ITV, C4 and Sky, but Sky will benefit the most, as a company with a subscription based revenue stream, they are less open to the dangers of advertising decline – and this could see the power in british TV changing, from the old guard of channel 3 and 4 to Murdoch’s digital empire.

Chefen för PSA Peugeot Citroën, Philippe Varin, höll en presentation av företagets marknadsplan intill 2012 vid design- och forskningskontoret i Velizy där både Citroën och Peugeot är inhuserade med var sin d esignavdelning.

I sin presentation angav Varin att strategin de två kommande åren handlade om ökad försäljning och reducering av kostnaderna. Målet är att komma upp bland toppen av de mest lönsamma bilproducenterna.

Både Peugeot och Citroën skall öka sina marknadsandelar i Europa enligt planen. Man kommer att satsa mer på “business to business”, d.v.s. ökat samarbete med andra producenter. De nyckelmarknader man kommer satsa särskilt på är Kina, Latinamerika och Ryssland där man räknar med expansion.

Bakom expanisonsplanerna finns ett förnyat och utökat modellprogram. För Peugeots del handlar 2010 om att surfa på den medvind som cross-over-modellen 3008 och nygamla 206+ för med sig innan man under första halvåret 2011 lanserar märkets nya flaggskepp 508 (som ersätter både 407 och 607) och en ersättare till 207 under våren 2012. Lokala marknader har också stor betydelse: I Kina lanserar man en 4-dörrars sedan baserad på 308, och i Argentina en småbilspick-up.

Citroën har också en hel del spännande nyheter på gång. Varin avslöjade att nya C4 kommer introduceras under första halvåret 2010 (räkna med en presentation redan till Genevesalongen!), följt av DS4 under hösten och DS5 under våren 2012. För de lokala marknaderna kommer man att börja tillverka en pseudo-SUV och fritidsbil baserad på C3 Picasso (kallad C3 AirCross).

Men den mest intressanta nyheten under Varins presskonferens var hans uttalande om att man inte utesluter att PSA Peugeot Citroën kan tänkas göra förvärv av andra tillverkare. Kan det betyda ett övertagande av Mitsubishi Motors eller någon rysk bilfabrik? Framtiden får utvisa.

I samband med mötet i Velizy framkom också en del information om den lågprismodell som är avsedd för utomeuropeiska marknader. Bilen skall baseras på teknik från Peugeot 207. Metoden för att hålla produktionskostnaderna nere  består i att använda så många komponenter som möjligt ur äldre modeller. Någon tidpunkt för introduktion angavs inte, men sannolikt är modellen under utveckling i Citroëns kinesiska designcenter i Shanghai.

Против : Цены слишком высоки. Клиенты Ситроена зачастую неудовлетворены качеством машин и обслуживания. Базовая модель плохо оборудована – тот факт, что у нее только две воздушные подушки особенно разочаровывает.
Вердикт: Машина, возможно, дорогая, но мы считаем, что она того стоит. Она комбинирует практичность с отличным дизайном и великолепным комфортом. Стоимость владения также весьма невысока.

Против : С водительской точки зрения машина разочаровывает. Ватный руль, странное поведение подвески. Непривычные органы управления понятны не всем.
Вердикт: Хорошие цены и уровень оснащения. Плохое качество езды. Третий ряд сидений подойдет только детям, но даже когда он установлен, все равно остается место для кое-какого багажа.

Last week we saw that the day of the Lord will not come until apostasy comes first.

We were introduced to the man of lawlessness, a man of eminent wickedness who exalts himself over God and even considers himself to be God. All these things Paul talks about relate to the time line of the coming of the Lord. There are certain things taking place right now that must happen before the Lord comes back.

That is what we’ll look at this morning.

I encourage you to read 2 Thes. 2:6-10. You can listen to the accompanying podcast here.

The first thing I want to look at is the present restraints. The man of lawlessness is currently restrained. Restrained comes from the word that means to hold firmly, hold back, or detain. The man of lawlessness is firmly held back from doing all that the wants to do. What does he want to do? 2:4 says he, “Opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.” His desire is only for personal edification. He wants to confuse and to deceive. He does not want people to know and embrace the Truth. He is presently restrained, by what? The Thessalonians knew what Paul was talking about, but remember that we don’t know everything that Paul taught them while he was in Thessalonica. In his time he’s going to be revealed, but for now, the identity of the man of lawlessness remains a secret. The man of lawlessness might be currently restrained, but there is something going on right now. “The mystery of lawlessness is already at work.” Lawlessness means a violation of the law. It’s not that the law isn’t known or that there isn’t any law. This word means an intentional violation of the Law. This applies to God’s and man’s law.

“The mystery of lawlessness is already at work.” This violation of God’s Law is already going on. It’s happening all around us. Remember according to v. 3, the man won’t be revealed unless apostasy occurs first. Is apostasy occurring now?  Yes, but is it what Paul is talking about? Paul takes the time to lay out a timeline for this rebellion, because that’s what it is.

“The mystery of lawlessness is already at work.” Mystery here means secret. There is a secret rebellion going on and the only thing preventing all out open rebellion or apostasy is the restraining influence that is also active. This does not mean that nobody knows what’s going on. It should be fairly obvious to Christians what is happening in the world today. There are wars and rumors of wars. We live in a world where tolerance is required of everything except faith in Jesus Christ. We have people worshiping the created rather than the Creator. We have eliminated God from our schools. We have declared that a living being is simply a mass of tissue. In some venues, we are forbidden from offering prayers in the mighty name of Jesus. Employees at some retail stores are prohibited from wishing people “Merry Christmas.” The secret rebellion against God and His people are already at work, but can you imagine what our world would look like if not for the restraining influence that is present? V. 6 spoke of a “what” that restrains, but in v. 7, it is a “who” that restrains.

Paul speaks of a time in the future. V. 7b speaks about a time that is drawing near in which the restraints against the man of lawlessness will be removed. The restraining action will occur – present tense – until such a time as the restraints are removed. This removal occurs at a certain point in time. After the restraints are removed, we learn what happens in vs. 8-10a. The man lawlessness, the man of sin, the man known for his wickedness will be revealed so that all will recognize who he is and what he stands for. What was done in secret is now out in the open.

The lawless one will come with, “All power and signs and false wonders.” Some will mistake the coming of the Antichrist for the second coming of Christ, but the coming of the Antichrist is like a deceptive imitation of the coming of the Lord. 2 Thes. 1:7 says the, “Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire.” Vs. 3, 6, and 8 tell the lawless one is revealed, but we don’t know from where. Acts 2:22 says that “Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him.” The anti-Christ will come with counterfeit miracles. Matt. 24:24, “For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.” The miracles of Christ authenticated who He was; the miracles of the Antichrist will deceive. John Stott says, “The coming of Christ and the Antichrist will be personal, visible, and powerful.  And tragically the coming of Antichrist will be such a clever parody of the coming of Christ that many will be taken in by the satanic deception.”

All of this leads to the unpardonable sin. It’s not the “big” sins Paul is talking about. Those that perish, perish because, “They did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.” In order to be saved, you must not only know the truth, but you must receive it by faith. Simply knowing the truth is not enough. You must know, receive, and accept the truth. What is the truth? It is the truth that enables a person to be saved. It is the truth as it relates to God and Jesus Christ. John 1:17 says, “For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.” 1 Tim 2:3-6 says, “This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.  For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.” But here’s what happened.  Rom. 1:25 says, “For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever.” That’s part of the secret rebellion that is going on right now. More emphasis is placed on creation than on the Creator.

The free gift of salvation is offered up to anyone that will accept it. Eph. 2:8 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.” It is a gift, but you must accept a gift in order for it to be yours.

There is coming a day when the restraints of lawlessness will be removed. What is done in secret now will be done for all to see and many will be deceived. How about you? Are you someone that will be deceived or do you recognize what is going on all around you?

Sebelum memulai design vector dan vexel perlu dipelajari terlebih dahulu teknik dasar menggunakan pen tool agar dalam pengerjaan selanjutnya tidak mengalami kesulitan. Kali ini saya akan membahas bagaimana menggunakan pen tool sebagai dasar pembuatan gambar kartun atau vector dan vexel. Sebelum memulai tracing dengan path, ada baiknya anda mengenal cara kerja path itu sendiri. Pada dasarnya, pembuatan path di sini tidak lain adalah bertujuan untuk membuat batasan area yang akan kita fill atau edit. Berikut ini adalah keterangan mengenai tool-tool yang berhubungan dengan proses tracing.

Buatlah file baru dengan background white dan mode RGB sedangkan ukurannya terserah anda. Buat layer baru dan beri nama latihan. Kemudian aktifkan Pen Tool dan pastikan anda telah memilih Option bar pen sesuai dengan gambar di atas. Selanjutnya buat 3 titik seperti contoh gambar di bawah ini :

Lakukan sesuai urutan yang saya contohkan di atas (titik 3 adalah titik pada garis di tengah-tengah titik 1 dan 2 sebagai latihan untuk melengkungkan garis path). Selanjutnya tahan Ctrl pada keyboard dan arahkan Pen tool pada titik 3 Klik Mouse anda dan tahan kemudian arahkan ke bawah sesuai contoh di bawah ini :

Jika langkah anda benar, maka akan seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Setelah berhasil membuat lengkungan garis path maka selanjutnya anda dapat mengimplementasikan pada objek dengan tingkat lengkungan yang lebih rumit, misalnya lengkungan wajah dengan teknik yang telah kita bahas sebelumnya seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Apabila kita amati lengkungan pada kening kurang sempurna karena tidak mencakup seluruh kening, yang harus anda lakukan adalah tetap tahan Ctrl pada keyboard arahkan mouse pada 2 titik pengaturan pada titik 3 dengan mengarahkannya sesuai dengan lengkungan objek. Jika langkah anda benar, maka akan didapat hasil seperti di bawah ini :

Lanjutkan proses trace pada seluruh wajah dan leher, lakukan dengan hati-hati hingga anda mahir untuk membuat lengkungan-lengkungan path karena hal ini adalah dasar yang merupakan sebuah pondasi untuk design vector dan vexel.

Setelah titik awal path bertemu dengan titik akhir path, anda juga dapat mencoba teknik pewarnaan dengan menggunakan EyeDrop Tool untuk memilih warna yang sesuai dengan warna dasar kulit. Selanjutnya klik kanan dan pilih fill path dan pilih OK kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Delete Path seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Demikian Teknik dasar tracing sebagai awal untuk design berbasis vector dan vexel. Ingat…!!! Anda harus sabar… hehehe.

Tutorial ini merupakan kiriman dari sahabat dunia maya “Dinz_Thea” yang juga termasuk pengembangan teknik Trace dengan menggunakan Pen Tool dengan kombinasi teknik pewarnaan yang cukup sederhana menggunakan Gradient Tool.

Buat file baru dengan ukuran 500 x 400 pixel dan beri warna dasar hitam selanjutnya aktifkan Pen Tool anda dan mulailah membuat shape menyerupai daun atau helaian bunga seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Selanjutnya Klik kanan dan pilih fill Path dan pilih warna putih lalu klik Ok. Nah udah di fill kita pakai teknik father buat mendelete Path itu agar yang terlihat Cuma garis tipis. Caranya Klik kanan pada gambar dan pilih make selection lalu isi father radius antara 3-5 pixel terserah anda tapi pada tutorial ini saya pilih 3 pixel. Klik Ok dan selanjutnya tekan delete pada keyboard anda. Maka hasilnya akan seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Selanjutnya duplikat layer sebanyak 3 kali dan atur besarnya masing-masing hasil Path tersebut dengan perintah Ctrl + T seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Selanjutnya Merge 4 Layer Path tersebut kemudian duplikat Layer tersebut. Selanjutnya dari hasil duplikat tersebut beri efek mention blur, caranya klik menu filter lalu pilih blur dan mention blur masukan angka 8 pixel pada distance setelah itu klik Ok. Hasilnya dapat anda lihat pada contoh di bawah ini :

Langkah selanjutnya lakukan trace badan kupu-kupu dengan langkah yang sama pada langkah sebelumnya. Silahkan anda berimprovisasi sendiri atau anda bisa membuat badan kupu-kupu seperti contoh di bawah ini berikut cara pewarnaannya dengan menggunakan Gradient Tool :

Selanjutnya atur kombinasi warna Gradient Tool seperti contoh di bawah ini (Kombinasikan minimal 3 – 4 warna) :

Selanjutnya tarik garis miring 45 derajat pada layer yang berada diatas layer kupu-kupu sehingga hasilnya akan terlihat seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Anda akan mendapatkan layer Gradient menutupi Layer kupu-kupu. Selanjutnya tekan Alt pada keyboard anda dan arahkan kursor diantara Layer kupu-kupu dan gradient sampai iconnya berubah setelah itu klik. Dan hasilnya akan seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Sebagai acuan agar anda tidak salah langkah maka posisi Layer kupu-kupu dan posisi Layer Gradient adalah sebagai berikut :

Anda dapat melakukan improvisasi dari hasil design tersebut, di sini saya mengimplementasikannya pada salah satu gambar yang bisa anda lihat hasilnya di bawah ini :

Membuat Efek Serpihan Tubuh

Pada tutorial kali ini saya akan mencoba membahas bagaimana membuat design foto manipulasi berupa serpihan-serpihan tubuh. Di sini saya menggunakan image dari sobat sekaligus guru photoshop saya, tak lain adalah DAMY DAMARU.
Langsung saja buka image selanjutnya duplikat layer dan sisipi layer kosong kemudian fill dengan warna hitam seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Selanjutnya crop image (terserah anda mau menggunakan teknik crop apa saja) tetapi dalam tutorial ini saya menggunakan teknik masking dengan bantuan brush warna hitam untuk menghapus dan brush warna putih untuk mengembalikan ke keadaan semula yang bisa anda lihat pada contoh di bawah ini :

Setelah proses croping selesai atur levelnya dengan cara klik kanan pada create fill or adjustment layer dan pilih level seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Selanjutnya buat project serpihan dengan cara menambahkan layer kosong dan gunakan brush warna hitam seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Agar aman sebaiknya duplikat layer sebelum memulai proses selanjutnya untuk berjaga-jaga seandainya nanti ada kesalahan kita tidak perlu repot-repot untuk memulai lagi dari awal seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Selanjutnya hilangkan tanda mata pada layer asli dan jangan lupa menambahkan 1 layer hitam di bawah image kemudian aktifkan lasso tool seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Langkah selanjutnya buat motif serpihan dengan lasso tool kemudian tekan Ctrl dan tahan lalu arahkan kursor ke daerah seleksi dan geser ke kiri seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Lakukan langkah yang sama dalam membuat efek serpihan-serpihan (usahakan motif serpihan bervariasi dari besar hingga kecil)

Jika project serpihan telah selesai maka hasilnya akan seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Selanjutnya tambahkan texture seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Buka texture dan aktifkan Move Tool kemudian drag pada design serpihan seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Ubah blending texture menjadi Color Burn kemudian atur contrast texture menggunakan Curve seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Selanjutnya aktifkan Eraser Tool untuk menghapus bagian texture yang menutupi serpihan tubuh dan beberapa bagian wajah yang di rasa kurang tepat seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Setelah selesai maka anda akan mendapatkan hasil seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Sebagai langkah terakhir anda dapat mengatur warna dengan kombinasi Color Balance, Hue Saturation, Selective Color dan sedikit improvisasi penambahan texture seperti yang saya lakukan dan akhirnya saya mendapatkan design yang bisa anda lihat di bawah ini :

aktifkan brush., kemudian pada option bar, klik brush preset picker, klik tombol menu di bagian sudut kanan atas. pilih jenis brush : Assorted brush

tampilkan palet brush atau tekan F5 dan atur settingan nya seperti dibawah ini.,.

kemudian buat layer baru dengan cara klik new layer kemudian saputan brush yang telah di atur setingan nya tadi pada bagian yang diinginkan., dan hasilnya akan menjadi seperti ini.,.

selanjutnya gandakan layer2 (bintang) tadi dan klik menu filter > blur > Gaussian blur dan atur nilai radius nya : 7 px agar taburan bintang nya terlihat kabut dan terkesan berkilau.,.,

mainkan masking pada modelnya agar terlihat lebih fokus dan tambah kan imajenasi-imajenasi lainnya pada design tadi agar terlihat lebih menarik.,.atau mungkin atur kembali adjustments nya hingga sesuai dengan yang di inginkan.,.,.,. ini tergantung pada kreasi sobat otodidak sendiri.,.

Fly Away Story Tutorial

Pada tutorial kali ini saya akan mencoba membahas bagaimana tips untuk membuat design bertema fantasy dengan kombinasi sedikit teknik trace menggunakan pentool namun demikian saya tidak akan menjelaskan secara detail setiap langkah dengan tujuan agar anda dapat berfikir dan menggunakan imajinasi sehingga diharapkan nantinya anda akan mampu menghasilkan design tidak selalu berdasarkan tutorial (Improvisasi sendiri)

Beberapa hal yang harus diperhatikan dalam design fantasy adalah kejelian kita dalam memilih stock yang sesuai dengan konsep. Pada tutorial kali ini stock yang saya pakai adalah sebagai berikut :

Selanjutnya gabung kedua image tersebut (di sini saya anggap anda sudah mengerti bagaimana cara menggabungkan image dan cara mengatur warna) hasil penggabungan dari 2 stock di atas akan seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Langkah selanjutnya yaitu mencari stock manusia seperti stock yang saya gunakan di bawah ini :

Croping stock manusia dengan cara yang anda sukai dan gabungkan dengan background yang telah kita buat sebelumnya seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Selanjutnya tambahkan sayap pada model, anda bisa menggunakan brush atau menggunakan wings stock tetapi pada tutorial kali ini saya menggunakan stock image yang dapat anda lihat di bawah ini :

Selanjutnya atur warnanya dengan menggunakan color balance kemudian berikan sentuhan Burn Tool untuk memberi kesan bayangan (shadow) seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Gunakan perintah Ctrl + Klik pada layer model untuk proses seleksi seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Selanjutnya buat layer baru kemudian pilih warna yang sesuai (saya menggunakan warna merah muda) dan aktifkan Gradient Tool dan tarik ke atas pada bidang seleksi kemudian tekan Ctrl + D untuk menghilangkan seleksi seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Pindahkan layer gradient ke bawah layer model kemudian tekan Ctrl + T untuk proses transform dan rotasikan sedikit ke kiri seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Langkah selanjutnya kita akan menggunakan teknik trace menggunakan pentool untuk membuat kesan aura yang keluar pada Stock manusia. Tutorial menggunakan pentool bisa anda baca di sini…

Buat group dengan nama terserah anda dan buat layer baru kemudian trace seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Setelah selesai klik kanan dan pilih make selection kemudian OK seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Aktifkan kembali Gradient Tool dan dengan cara yang sama di atas arahkan Gradient ke atas seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Tekan Ctrl + D dan akan didapat hasil seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Buat layer baru dan ulangi cara di atas seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Kombinasikan warna sesuai imajinasi anda (di sini saya mengkombinasikan warna merah muda, kuning, dan hijau) dan tambahkan pula brush yang sesuai seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Aktifkan brush dan sapukan di bawah model seperti contoh di atas kemudian beri efek Gaussian blur untuk memberikan kesan kabut seperti contoh di bawah ini (kombinasikan beberapa warna putih dan hijau):

Aktifkan kerja anda pada Group Trace dan turunkan Opacitynya dan hasilnya akan seperti contoh di bawah ini :

Untuk sentuhan akhir atur warna menggunakan Color Balance dan berikan sentuhan toned untuk memberi kesan Dimensi yang sesuai pada design. Tutorial toned bisa anda lihat di Sini…

3D text in photoshop.

Okay..sekarang kita coba bikin design 3D text dengan Photoshop.

1.buat document baru. Foreground : #0BA3FB dan background : #FFFFFF. pilih Gradient Tool dan tarik dari atas ke bawah
agar background lembar kerja kita menjadi gradasi biru dan putih.

2.Tekan D agar foreground dan background set ke default. Tekan X untuk membalikan putih ke hitam dan hitam ke putih. ( ribet banget ya.. ) lalu pilih Type Tool .set font to Arial dan font size 200 pt. ketikan satu huruf sesuai huruf yang anda suka. Dalam tutorial ini saya mengetikan O.

3.Rasterize layer lalu CTRL + T pilih distort, tarik dari pojok kanan bawah sampai terbentuk seperti contoh gambar dibawah :

Selanjutnya duplicate layer. Kasih nama PUTIH untuk layer KEDUA dan HITAM untuk layer PERTAMA. Click layer pertama lalu invert Ctrl + i. kemudian tekan alt + right arrow 18X sehingga membuat 18 layer HITAM dan membentuk bayangan hitam yg muncul dari belakang layer PUTIH.
Seperti contoh gbr dibawah :

4.Merge down ke 18 layer hitam menjadi satu. Click layer PUTIH. Pilih gradient overlay dan pilih 55 gradient. Bagi yg belum punya 55 gradient silahkan sedot disini : http://www.ziddu.com/download/4507012/gradients.rar.html

Pilih jenni .gradasi dari warna coklat,merah,orange dan putih. Lalu atur blend mode : Normal, opacity 100%, Style : Linear, Angle : 56 dan Scale : 64.

5.kemudian kasih sedikit bevel and emboss

Disini saya akan mencoba membuat manipulasi foto menggunakan photoshop, dalam manipulasi ini saya akan membuat foto seperti ada di dalam kobaran api. Dan untuk judul nya sya beri judul “KU AKUI KU MAIN API” hehehe.,.,. kurang lebih urutan nya seperti ini :

Sekarang kita masuk dalam langkah-langkah pembuatan nya :
1. siapkan gambar yang yang akan di edit ( dalam editan saya yaitu gambar 1,2,3 ) anda juga bisa menggunakan gambar yang lain.
2. Seleksi gambar 1 menggunakan tool yang biasa anda gunakan dalam photoshop, disini saya menggunakan quick mask mode

3. Setelah seleksi tadi terbentuk, pindahkan seleksi tadi ke gambar api menggunakan Move Tool

4.Atur lah posisi objek (orang) terhadap background (api ) agar terlihat pas.

5. Aktifkan layer background (gambar api ) atur level nya, klik menu Image > Adjusment > levels, dan atur lah nilai level nya.

6. Atur juga pencahayaan pada gambar objek ( gambar orang ) nya menggunakan level dan juga brightness/contras.

7. Setelah itu untuk memberikan efek seperti berada di tengah-tengah api, tambah kan layer mask pada objek ( gambar orang)

8. Sekarang aktifkan brush tool ( gunakan warna hitam ) dan pastikan opacity nya 100%. Dan gunakan brush untuk menghilangkan bagian bawah objek ( gambar orang ) pada bagian kaki nya.

9. Lalu atur lagi opacity brush menjadi 30% dan sapukan lagi pada bagian gambar paha objek.

10. Langkah terakhir agar manipulasi ini terlihat lebih real yaitu dengan menambahkan noise pada gambar. Terlebih dahulu merge objek orang dan api. Setelah itu klik filter > noise > add noise.

11. Untuk menambahkan kesan terbakar pada objek orangnya berilah beberapa efek api pada objek/gambar orangnya, letak kan pada bagian punggung dan gunakan cara yang sama dengan cara di atas untuk menggabung kan gambar, dan gunakan tool yang sama.

Tutto suggerisce che la versione ufficiale degli attacchi dell’11 Marzo 2004 a Madrid, secondo cui si sarebbe trattato di un attacco esterno dell’islamista Al-Qaida, sia una bufala. Ciò solleva la questione dei veri colpevoli. Un’indagine approfondita dovrebbe adottare un approccio sistematico: elenco completo delle piste, e quindi seguire ogni ricerca di indizi e moventi. Lo scopo di questo articolo, è quello di esaminare una di queste ipotesi: che l’operazione sia una montatura sotto falsa bandiera dei servizi segreti atlantisti. Prima di ciò, introdurremo brevemente tutte le piste che dovrebbero essere esplorate, se l’inchiesta sarà riaperta.
L’opinione pubblica conosce, in genere, due ipotesi circa gli autori dell’attacco: Al-Qaida, incriminata nei discorsi ufficiali, e l’ETA, che Jose Maria Aznar accusava per giustificare la sua politica basca. La stampa spagnola ha esplorato almeno quattro altre piste, sui servizi segreti che avrebbero montato l’operazione sotto falsa bandiera.

Un primo collegamento tra l’attacco e gli Stati Uniti appare alla fine di marzo 2004, con una foto misteriosa della bomba della borsa di Vallecas. E’ l’unico scatto conosciuto fino ad oggi, dalla centrale delle indagini, oggetto di molte controversie. Nella notte dell’11/12 marzo 2004, un agente della polizia scientifica era andato nei luoghi dove gli sminatori avevano disinnescato la bomba di Vallecas, al fine di realizzare un dossier fotografico, conformemente alla procedura. La bomba non era ancora stata neutralizzata, e rimase a distanza, consegnò la sua macchina fotografica a un artificiere e vide diversi flash. Una volta che l’ordigno è stato disattivato, ha cercato di avvicinarsi con la sua macchina fotografica, ma con suo stupore, gli artificieri gli preclusero l’accesso. Quindi un alto funzionario della polizia gli ha chiesto di consegnare la pellicola, di cui non si ha alcuna traccia.
Nel marzo 2004, nessuna foto della bomba di Vallecas è stata mai resa nota. Questa incertezza è stata rafforzata da spiegazioni contraddittorie, fornite dai media, sulla non esplosione della bomba. Si disse che i terroristi avevano dimenticato di attivare la carta SIM, poiché si erano sbagliati programmando l’esplosione alle 7 e 30 di sera, e non del mattino, o che anche l’energia elettrica fornita dal telefono fosse insufficiente per attivarla; tutte versioni smentite successivamente. La spiegazione più incredibile, che è stata poi avanzata per l’arresto di Jamal Zougam, il solo presunto attentatore che sia stato incarcerato. La cornetta del telefono è stata scheggiata, e il piccolo pezzo di plastica mancante è stata trovato a casa sua. Per quanto riguarda la composizione della bomba, la maggior parte dei media parlava, allora, del modello Triumph della Motorola, e non di un Trium della Mitsubishi, che alla fine verrà mantenuta nella versione ufficiale.
Il 30 marzo, la televisione americana ABC News, manda in onda la sola foto della bomba conosciuta fino ad oggi, adottata da tutti i media spagnoli, senza metterla in discussione. Aveva riempito il vuoto lasciato dalla scomparsa della pellicola della polizia scientifica, e ridiede credibilità a questa prova acquisita in modo oscuro. Ma lo scatto pone nuove questioni, che non hanno ancora una risposta. Chi ha preso questa foto? In quali circostanze? E perché è apparsa negli Stati Uniti, lontano dai media spagnoli, che hanno seguito il caso da vicino? Incuriosito, Luis del Pino ha chiesto ai corrispondenti dell’ABC in Spagna, di chi fosse lo scatto, ma negarono di essere gli autori, e dissero di non sapere come la direzione della rete statunitense l’avesse ottenuta.
Il 6 Maggio 2004, gli sguardi si volsero di nuovo negli Stati Uniti, quando “Newsweek” ha rivelato che un avvocato statunitense, Brandon Mayfield, era stato arrestato nello Stato dell’Oregon, pochi giorni prima. Le sue impronte digitali sono state trovate sulle confezioni dei detonatori trovati nella Kangoo, che i terroristi avrebbero dovuto utilizzare, secondo l’accusa. Per tutto il mese di maggio, e di fronte ai dubbi pubblicati dal New York Times, il settimanale menzionò fonti della polizia, garantendo l’attendibilità delle prove. Così, il 17 maggio, “Un alto responsabile degli Stati Uniti nella lotta contro il terrorismo, ha detto a Newsweek che l’identificazione delle impronte digitali è inconfutabile”. L’FBI aveva identificato l’impronta poco dopo l’attentato, ed allora Mayfield fu messo sotto sorveglianza. Fu la paura di fughe di notizie che fu costretto a eseguire un arresto discreto. Ma con un colpo di scena, il 20 maggio la polizia spagnola ha annunciato che, a sua volta, aveva individuato l’impronta digitale in quella di Ouhnane Daoud, un algerino che viveva in Spagna. Le autorità degli Stati Uniti ne presero atto, e lo stesso giorno Mayfield fu rilasciato, con rare pubbliche scuse da parte dell’FBI, e un risarcimento. Per quanto riguarda Daoud, egli è ancora latitante a tutt’oggi, il che rende impossibile valutare l’affidabilità dell’identificazione.
Si deve notare l’opportunità dell’identificazione di Daoud, passato inosservato nei due mesi successivi all’attentato, ma che fu identificato nelle settimana successiva all’arresto di Mayfield. Il profilo di quest’ultimo suscita egualmente sospetti. Avvocato discreto e senza grandi attività, convertito all’Islam, aveva difeso in un caso di diritto di famiglia, un americano accusato in seguito di terrorismo. Ma è il suo rapporto con i militari USA, che attira ulteriore attenzione: Mayfield è un ufficiale della riserva, dopo aver trascorso 8 anni nelle forze armate, tra cui almeno un anno in una unità dell’intelligence.

Continuiamo la nostra analisi, aggiungiamo due elementi che confermano che l’attacco è opera di una organizzazione militare e non di una banda di criminali. Innanzitutto, le 10 bombe erano state probabilmente attivate da sistemi di telecomando radio, e non erano state programmate in anticipo con la funzione di allarme dei telefoni cellulari, come sostiene la versione ufficiale. Infatti, 3 treni sono esplosi mentre erano fermi nelle stazioni di Atocha, El Pozo e Santa Eugenia, il quarto è esploso all’esterno di Atocha, dove ha atteso la partenza del primo treno. A meno di vedere una coincidenza straordinaria, si può concludere che i terroristi volevano farli saltare nelle stazioni. Ma questo risultato è estremamente difficile da ottenere, programmando in anticipo l’ora di attivazione. In primo luogo, perché i telefoni cellulari che sarebbero stati utilizzati, non consentono la messa a punto dell’orologio e della sveglia: è possibile impostare i minuti, ma non i secondi. E in secondo luogo, perché i treni dei pendolari non sono puntualissimi. Nel caso del ritardo di alcuni treni, quel giorno, a El Pozo si ebbe “un paio di minuti di ritardo“, secondo la testimonianza del conducente. Le esplosioni non sono state programmate in anticipo, ma innescato “in diretta“. I mezzi di trasmissione radio suggeriscono che si trattasse di una operazione sofisticata, al di là della portata della piccola banda di criminali, indicata dalla versione ufficiale. Ciò detto, perché volevano che i treni esplodessero nella stazione? La ragione potrebbe essere che così fossero più facilmente accessibili e discreti, cosa che corrobora l’ipotesi delle due “bombe finte” introdotte dopo le esplosioni.
In secondo luogo, vi sono indicazioni che le bombe erano cariche di esplosivi militari, “che tagliano”, e non di dinamite per cave, “che mordono“, come è stato dimostrato nel precedente articolo. Nella sua spiegazione al giudice, il capo degli artificieri di Madrid menziona anche l’esplosivo militare C4.

Dopo aver dimostrato che elementi non identificati dell’apparato statale avevano falsificato le prove, per portare l’inchiesta sulla strada sbagliata, coprendo una operazione di stile militare, è legittimo ritenere che gli attentati di Madrid siano stati commessi da un servizio segreto militare.
Secondo l’ex ufficiale dei servizi segreti per la U. S. Army Eric H. May: “Il modo più semplice di attuare un attentato false flag è con l’organizzazione di una esercitazione militare che simula proprio l’attentato che vogliamo commettere”. Come negli attentati dell’11 settembre 2001 negli Stati Uniti, e quelli del 7 luglio 2005 a Londra, gli attentati di Madrid sono coincisi con un attacco terroristico simulato. Dal 4 al 10 marzo 2004, la NATO ha realizzato la sua esercitazione annuale per la gestione delle crisi, intitolata CMX 2004, e la mattina dell’11 marzo, vere bombe sono esplose a Madrid.
Lo scenario sviluppato quell’anno dall’Alleanza Atlantica era proprio un grande attacco terroristico di Al-Qaida in Occidente. In Spagna, la presidenza del governo, il Dipartimento della Difesa e la CNI (servizi segreti), hanno preso parte all’esercitazione. Non sappiamo ancora se le manovre includevano esercitazioni nella capitale spagnola, in quanto i dati pertinenti sono riservati. In una delle poche evocazioni della stampa di questa simulazione, El Mundo ha scritto: “La somiglianza dello scenario elaborato dalla NATO con i fatti di Madrid è agghiacciante, e ha impressionato i diplomatici, militari e servizi segreti che hanno partecipato all’esercitazione poche ore prima”. I dettagli di CMX 2004 sono classificati, purtroppo non sappiamo dove finisce la somiglianza.
Un’altra coincidenza inquietante è lo scalo, in Spagna, che hanno avuto degli aerei clandestini della CIA. Questi aerei sono divenuti famosi dopo lo scandalo dei sequestri di persona e delle prigioni segrete in Europa, che gli americani utilizzavano nel programma “extraordinary renditions”. Il Boeing 737 immatricolato N313P, atterrò il 9 Marzo 2004 all’aeroporto di Palma, nell’isola spagnola di Maiorca, e se ne andò il 12 marzo, il giorno dopo l’attentato. Questo velivolo è il più grande tra quelli utilizzato per tali voli segreti, e l’aereo più importante citato nella relazione del Consiglio d’Europa nel 2006. Palma è a sua volta descritta come una “piattaforma-cerniera del programma delle renditions della CIA.”
Premiati per le loro indagine sul voli della CIA, i giornalisti del quotidiano locale “El Diario de Mallorca” furono sentiti sulle onde radio della Cadena SER, la più ascoltata in Spagna. Concludendo l’intervista, avvisarono: “L’11 marzo 2004, il Boeing 737 della CIA fu a Palma. Il giorno dopo partì in fretta, perché aveva cambiato il suo orario di decollo. Aveva annunciato di recarsi in Svezia, ma si recò a Baghdad”. A cosa era dovuta questa partenza affrettata, a solo poche ore dall’episodio della scoperta della famosa borsa di Vallecas? Oltre a questa fretta, è la presenza stessa del velivolo in territorio spagnolo, al momento dell’attacco, che attira l’attenzione. Secondo la commissione del Parlamento europeo sui voli della CIA, 125 voli dell’agenzia di intelligence USA sono passati su un aeroporto spagnolo, dal 2001 al 2005 (un periodo di circa 1.500 giorni). Questi scali erano di solito di uno o due giorni, la simultaneità dei due eventi è una coincidenza degna di nota.

Il comando USA in Europa (EUCOM) e la NATO controllano in Spagna la base navale e d’intelligence di Rota e la base aerea di Moron. Infine, il Comando Sud della NATO stava installando il quartier generale delle sue truppe di terra a Madrid, al momento degli attentati.
È interessante notare che i servizi segreti della Marina e dell’Aeronautica USA, rispettivamente, NCIS e OSI, hanno goduto durante il periodo che ci interessa, di strabiliante libertà di azione in Spagna.
Nell’aprile 2002, Jose Maria Aznar e George W. Bush riformulavano l’accordo bilaterale della difesa tra i due paesi. Questo accordo legalizzava, per la prima volta, la presenza in Spagna di due dei servizi segreti USA, dotati anche di poteri di polizia. La redazione volutamente confusa del testo, ha dato loro un grande margine di manovra, “le autorità competenti dei due Paesi dovrebbero stabilire norme che regolano la condotta in Spagna di NCIS e OSI”. Nel febbraio 2006, il “Caso Pimienta” portava alla luce la mancanza di norme regolamentari. L’NCIS aveva rapito in territorio spagnolo Federico Pimienta, disertore dei Marines, senza alcun controllo da parte della polizia o delle autorità giudiziarie spagnole. Solo dopo le polemiche generate da questa flagrante violazione della sovranità spagnola, verranno elaborate le norme su “l’accreditamento previo dei membri di NCIS e OSI dalle autorità spagnole” e “la comunicazione alle autorità della Spagna, di qualsiasi operazione”.

Last week we looked at the confusion in the church over the day of the Lord. False teaching had shaken what the Thessalonians knew to be true. This false teaching led to confusion which led to the deception that the day of the Lord had already occurred. Paul now reveals the source of this false teaching and deception.

The first thing we notice from this passage is that the day of the Lord has not yet come. Paul says, “Let no one in any way deceive you.” Remember the deception came as a result of the false teaching that lead the Thessalonians to be confused about the day of the Lord. The best way to combat deception is to know the truth. In order to know the truth, you need to get in the Word of God.

There are prerequisites for the day of the Lord to arrive. Paul tells us in v. 3: “For it [the day of the Lord] will not come unless the apostasy comes first.” Apostasy means a defection or revolt, it is a falling away. You might ask a falling away from what? It is difficult to determine exactly what Paul is talking about because the word is only used here and in Acts 21:21 that refers to the Jews forsaking the Law of Moses. 1 Tim. 4:1-3 gives us an example of what apostasy might look like. Some would fall away from the belief of the truths of the Gospel. It does not mean that as individuals, they would have been true Christians; but that there would be a departure from the great doctrines that make up the Christian faith. Paul tells Timothy this is going to happen by, “Deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons” and it’s going to happen in the last days. There’s that word deception again. People pay attention to deceitful spirits rather than the Spirit of God. The meaning of the word apostasy gives us the idea that it is a general falling away from sound biblical doctrine. The idea of apostasy is nothing new and is recorded in numerous places in Scripture. In Gal. 1:6, Paul told them, “I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.” The Judaizers taught that one was saved by grace, but must also keep the Law. Jude warned in v. 4 that “Certain persons have crept in unnoticed . . . ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.”

Look at 1 Tim. 6:3-5. Paul speaks about people that have a, “Morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words.” People who spend an inordinate amount of time debating issues that are of no consequence in the Kingdom of God.

1 John 2:18, “Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour.” There are many who have the characteristics or qualities which was predicted that antichrist would have. There are many who deny that Jesus is the Messiah, or who deny that he has come in the flesh. 2 John 1:7, “For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.”

The deception is that the day of the Lord had come was brought about by the man of lawlessness. “The apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction.” Who is this man?  He is not named, but we are given four character traits that he has. He is the man of lawlessness. He is a man of eminent wickedness.     He is distinguished for his depravity. He is uncompromisingly hostile to the rule of law whether it is God’s Law or man’s law. He is the man of sin.

He is the son of destruction. KJV translates destruction as perdition. Only one other time is someone referred to as the son of destruction and that is Judas Iscariot in John 17:12. His destiny is ruin.

He is the enemy. According to v. 4 he, “Opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship.” This is a two part statement. He opposes every so called god and he exalts himself above every so called god. He is arrogant and conceited. He is full of pride.

He is the blasphemer. “He takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.” Doesn’t this sound like the one that was quoted as saying, “I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, and I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. ‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’” (Isaiah 14:13-14) He displays himself as God demanding all to worship him. Attempting to be God is never good.

Look at Paul’s rebuke to the church in v. 5. We are challenged on a daily basis to remember and we don’t seem to have a problem in many cases. We remember to go to work. We remember the schedules of the teams we follow. We remember every little thing our spouse did for the last 20 years. But there are things we have a hard time remembering. Take out the garbage. Birthdays and anniversaries. Speed limits. There are several places in Scripture where we are encouraged and challenged to remember. Luke 17:32 says, “Remember Lot’s wife.” In John 15:20 Jesus said, “Remember the word that I said to you.” Heb. 13:7, “Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith.” Paul asks the rhetorical question, “Don’t you remember that when I was there with you, I told you these things?” Clearly Paul is referring to the coming of the Lord, but all we have is what is recorded in Scripture.  We don’t know the extent of what he taught when he was in Thessalonica, but there must be more than what we have here and in his first letter. The Thessalonians did not remember the things Paul taught and as a result, they were confused and deceived.

How well do you remember the things of Scripture? How about the teaching in Sunday School or from the pulpit? What you do not use, you will lose. That’s the challenge.

We actually don’t know when we started our DG, but we’re pretty sure that it was June 14, 2009. I bet you are wondering what is DG and what is it all about. DG means Discipleship Group and it is a group which contains a person who will help him/her spiritual growth and a disciple/s. And now we’re celebrating it in advance and also celebrating it with my 5 months being a CHRISTIAN. I’m happy always to learn about God, because I just can’t understand how I feel every time I hear about him. I feel like euphoria?? is that the term?? oh well. ahahah!! I just knew the term from nemenie. hehehe. We just had a simple celebration from eating lunch together, going to our school for the submission of our grades(i met Akane while passing my test paper and we both got our grades of our NSTP subject and we pass!! praise God!! ) Then we went to seattle’s best coffee for snacks and to continue our DG for like almost two to three hours then after our LONG fruitful discussion, we feel holy and we are ready to play and celebrate our 5 months, so we went to timezone and played. We hit the jackpot and won 160+ of tickets and after we played games, we exchanged the tickets that we won from timezone and it total to around 214. So what we did is that we exchange it for two backpacks, two bullpen, two pencil then two erasers. weehh!! then we went to a small stall of pizza hut and bought then praise God we didn’t have to wait for the jeep to arrive. Then we were able to go home safe. When I arrive, my sister called me and she told me that she wants me to accompany her to ayala. And it was worth it cause I found a cute guy!! I just stared at him, and i guess he’s a very shy type kind of boy. weeehh!! and it makes him more cute!!!! that’s all. bow. ahahahaha!!

For the purposes of this demonstration, we are going to use the “ghosting”, “see through” or “phantom view” technique to create this illustration of an Acura NSX. All of the painted areas must be completely finished in individual layers before the ghosting takes place.

In this demonstration we are approaching the entire illustration process in much the same way as was done before computers. In the non-digital world, you would start with an inked line drawing on illustration board. Using Frisket or a similar masking material, you would paint or airbrush one section at a time. “Frisket” is a term for a transparent self-adhesive plastic film used to mask areas in airbrush illustrations. The film was put on top of a line drawing and an X-Acto knife was used to cut a windowed area to airbrush through.

The first step in the illustration process is to create the line art in Adobe Illustrator (below). This line art phase is done before any painting and color work takes place. Once you have completed the entire image in vector line art, you will export the layered file from Adobe Illustrator into Adobe Photoshop. You will now start the painting process. Make sure you retain the layers when exporting by choosing the .psd export format.

This is the final layer pallet for each file format. The Illustrator layers pallet is on the left, and the converted Photoshop layers pallet is on the right. The Photoshop version has been simplified for this tutorial. There would normally be a separate line and tone layer for each element. You would always retain a line art layer for each and every element in order to make any necessary changes to their tonal values (see paragraph on “friskets” and “masks” above).

It order to use the following painting and erasing techniques successfully, you will need to use a good quality drawing tablet (Wacom Drawing Tablet or similar). Before we start the painting and ghosting process, it will help if the “Painting Cursor” is set to “Brush Size” in the “Display & Cursors” window of “Photoshop Preferences”. This will give you a round cursor that is roughly the diameter of the pixel dimensions for the selected brush size. Having this visual aid will help you to imagine how large of an area you will be affecting with each stroke.

The next step will be to paint each individual layer. You will use the line art layers as a type of “frisket” to mask the areas to be painted. For some basic painting techniques, refer to the “Basic Photoshop Painting Techniques” tutorial in the Lessons and Tutorials section of our “Technical Illustration Students” page.

The samples below are the main individual paint layers prior to any ghosting and blending work. The layer order is very important. Notice that the “Chassis” and “Car Background Tone” layers are underneath the “Yellow Body” layer in the layer pallet above. You will also notice that we are duplicating the sheet metal body color on the “Yellow Body” layer and the “Car Background” layer.

Once all of the individual layers are painted, you will begin the ghosting process. Although this phase of the illustration is reserved for the last 10 percent of the project, it is the most important aspect of the overall impression that the image will give to the viewer.

Select the “Body Frisket” line art layer. You will use this line art layer, in conjunction with the “Magic Wand” tool, to select an area to paint or erase. In the layers pallet you will change the opacity of this layer to 1%. This accomplishes two functions. 1. You will always know if you are working on the wrong layer because nothing will happen if you paint or erase on the 1% layer. 2. You will not be distracted by the dominance of the line art. Subtlety is the key to a quality ghosted illustration and you must be aware of the relationship between “exterior” and “interior” detail.

While still on the “Body Frisket” layer, you will use the “Magic Wand” tool to select the areas to be worked on. At this stage, you will be selecting areas with large open fields such as the hood and body panels. This will leave small details and highlights intact.

Once you have selected all of the desired areas, it is a good idea to “Feather” the selection by at least 1 pixel. This will soften the edge of the selection. You can then turn off the “Marching Ants” by typing “Command H”.

To create the ghosting effect, you will use the “Eraser” tool exclusively. Click on the “Eraser” tool and set the “Mode” to “Brush” in the options tool bar. While still in the options toolbar, set the “Opacity” to a low percentage (25% or less). This will make any alterations very subtle. If you go too far, you can always undo your strokes or revert to a previously saved version.

In the “brushes” pallet select a brush size that covers a large area and use a brush with a soft edge. The soft edged brushes will give your stroke an “airbrushed” effect.

While leaving the selection areas active, you will click on the “yellow Body” layer (see “Layers” pallet below) to make it active. This is the only layer that will be altered during this phase of the ghosting process. It is a good practice to duplicate this layer before proceeding. You can turn it off and hide it below a solid white background layer.

Slowly erase away the exterior surface layer in the selected area while working in a back and forth sweeping motion. Try not to start your stroke in the middle of a selected area because the starting point will be apparent. Attempt to work from the outer edge of the selected area towards the interior of that area and try to use the outer edge of the brush. This will avoid “hot spots” and/or a blotchy look.

De-select the selected sections by typing “Command – D”. Now you will ” airbrush erase” the highlights that were left intact by the first selection. Set the opacity of the eraser to an even lower percentage and set the brush diameter to a more manageable size.

One of the last steps will be to go to the remaining upper layers (Upholstery, Seats, Defroster Lines, etc.) and erase the appropriate amount of detail from each. Additionally, you will need to fine tune smaller areas such as the door “b” pillar sample below.

You may want to go back in and add windows glass highlights on a separate “Screen” layer, or window glass tint on a “Magnify” layer. You can adjust the intensity of these tint layers by making subtle changes to their opacity in the “layers” pallet.

By using these techniques, you will be leaving the fine body line work, door and window seams, and other exterior detail intact. this will give the illusion that the exterior body is floting over the interior detail.

Color has great power when it comes to conveying emotion and attracting attention. This power is multiplied exponentially when color is used as an accent in an otherwise monochrome image. By using selective coloring, we can draw the viewer’s eye to the key areas of an image, with the colored areas adopting a jewel-like quality amid an expanse of gray.

The effect ranges from the subtle to the extreme. We can tint an image with just a hint of color, or apply an exciting splash of color to a specific area. Layer masks are an essential tool here, offering us the ability to restore color to the area of our choice, which can be controlled and restrained with the accuracy only a brush can provide.

STEP 1
The first step is to duplicate the background layer by dragging it to
the new layer icon in the Layers palette or hitting Ctrl/Cmd+J).

To create water drops you can use PS’s very effective layer blending options. Pick the black color and with a sharp edged brush drop several simple circle shaped dots of different sizes on a layer.

Use the key combos “[" and "]” for changing the size of the brush dynamically. Select the Filter/Distort/Wave menu and use similar values for the filter as in the illustration below to distort the little black dots to make their shape more natural.

Now you need to set the layer mode from Normal to Screen and use several layer effects to create the reflections and drop shadows for a close to real water drop.

Once you have the psd file, you can also just copy the layer style by CTRL-clicking the layer and selecting Copy Layer Style. In a similar way you can paste the layer style to your documents droplets layer.
