2004 Château Smith Haut Lafitte tonight with a modified version of steak frites. This #wine is so fantastic. Very animale right out of the bottle, it has rounded out so nicely after three hours in the decanter. Funky leather, tobacco, blackberry and licorice in a beautifully balanced and elegant package. Pretty finish and a decent value, as well, at $40 in 2007 on futures. I wish I had more. #vin #france #bordeaux #leftbank #graves #cabernetsauvignon #cabernetfranc #Pessac-Léognan #smithhautlafitte #grandcruclasse
