Cheap calls are no less than spending more time with your loved ones. In everyday life from your landline number people make many international calls, those calls are not cheap rather they are too expensive that a person cannot talk as much he wants. You can make cheap calls from your landline phone or mobile with a ‘dial through’ number or any other ‘access number’. These days the technology is advancing with a rapid pace due to which calls can be made even cheaper.
There are now several companies that offer a lot of discount rates for longer period of call durations. They offer what they call as ‘free talk time’. These companies offer these cheap rates for calling in major countries of the world like America, Europe, Australia and many other international destinations.
Many people today believe that a free call cannot be made without a VoIP. VoIP phone calls are much less costly as compared to the general phone call.
Wrong!

Very free or Cheap Calls can also be made without the use of VoIP. Many telecom companies today offer mobile rates that are cheap. Its more easier than a VoIP, you don’t have to know the working mechanism of a VoIP. Just make the call from your regular phone whether it is a house phone or your cell phone.
Hassle free and easy to use.

Calling Cards
Almost all of the people are aware of phone cards. All phone users have used them also. Calling cards also offer convenience in making Cheap Calls to almost all international destinations around the globe. They offer low rates for calling and you can call form anywhere. That’s the ease of use in calling cards. The only problem with the calling cards is that you have to dial a pin code first to complete the dialing process, apart from that all is easy.
But this also may my not cheaper than with the advanced technology.

The New Technology
The new technology that offer even more Cheap Calls than calling card rates comes with the use of the old VoIP technology that has been modified into a new one. The companies now take one step ahead of the old VoIP and offer cheap calls from your landline number without making changes in your calling habits.
Enjoy your conversation by dialing the number you want to call no extra digits to dial.

Prepaid telephone calling cards are cards made up of plastic that are sold almost anywhere and comes

Prepaid telephone calling cards are cards made up of plastic that are sold almost anywhere and comes in different denominations. They can be used for long distance, overseas or local calls. To use the card, the security seal must be scratched to reveal the personal identification number. It is then activated by using the toll-free number. After activation it will ask for the number to dial.

Prepaid calling cards are convenient in many situations. But they still pose some disadvantages such as unadvertised connection charges, quick expiration dates, activation or setup fees, invalid PINs, busy access numbers, minute usage and higher rates for calls.

With the arrival of the virtual calling card, you will no longer experience these hassles. It is the latest in prepaid telephone calling card technology. It offers more features than that of a traditional prepaid card. It also eliminates the lengthy procedure of entering the PIN and the number to dial.

This service is now available in more than 40 countries. It only requires signing up for the service online. Once the application is approved after paying a fee, a PIN number will be issued to the subscriber. This PIN number can be used for accessing toll free numbers in countries where the service is available. This eliminates the need for occassional purchase of new prepaid cards.

RingCentral is a company that integrates this innovative service with their virtual PBX call management and virtual office phone system. To use this service would only require the use of the issued number to call anywhere. It automatically logs the usage on the account.

Benefit from low rates and high quality connection with no hidden charges by purchasing the virtual calling card.

When one is asked to leave a company, one of the most valuable tangible assets with which they have

When one is asked to leave a company, one of the most valuable tangible assets with which they have to part is not the office chair, the break room, or even the laptop, but truly the business card. As soon as you cease to be an employee of the firm, your business cards no longer provide any value, due to the outdated title and contact information.

This proves to make networking – a critical element of the job search – to be challenging, as the business card is still the gold standard for communicating name and contact information. Amazingly, with all of the technology that surrounds us each and every day, 7 square inches of card stock can mean the difference between being remembered and fading away after a professional event.

Realizing that I was faced with the need to have cards of my own once more, I have gone a similar route to when I was transitioning from commercial real estate back to the technology sector. Not technically a business card, as I am not in business right now, I have produced what used to be commonly known as a calling card. Not to be confused with the commercial tool of the same name, the calling card used to be popular centuries ago and was often referred to as a visiting card. Now that it is rare to simply drop in unexpectedly and we have a need to disclose additional contact information, such as phone, blog, and email, it is a great idea for job seekers to prepare their own calling cards for distribution at interviews and networking events.

My new calling card

For my endeavor, I used Avery’s “White Two-Side Printable Clean Edge Business Cards” (model #8871). The title is long, but the key piece is “clean edge” – these cards can be fed through an ink jet printer as a sheet of 10 and then be separated into 10 cards with edges that snap apart and show no sign of former connection. Honestly, they look as if they’ve been cut with a paper cutter. Microsoft Office Online offers a library of business card templates that you can download from right inside of Microsoft Word – super-easy. I went with a very conservative design – what do you think? Does the layout come across as polished or is there room to improve? These should serve my purposes at networking events, but if you have ideas for how I can improve upon them, let me know.

Calling cards have really changed the way one communicates.

The ease and the convenience these Calling cards provide have made it so famous that we have forgotten to use the coins to make calls. These prepaid calling cards came into existence only to replace the usage of coins while making calls.

But, there are no two prepaid calling cards that are the same, each prepaid calling card differ. Differ in the calling rates they offer, differ in the features they offer and more over they also differ in the service charges they charge.
International phone calling cards and long-distance prepaid phone cards have become more important t

International phone calling cards and long-distance prepaid phone cards have become more important than beneficial to us. These plastic cards can makes us easy and simple to contact our family and friends, especially if we are very far from them in a different country. One does not need to carry a mobile phone or search for a service provider for the SIM. These prepaid calling cards can be utilized from any standard landline, mobile phone and pay phone, to quickly make calls anytime and anywhere. And there are no anxious moments for hefty or wrong bills. You will know the call charges as soon as you have completed the call.

If you are buying these prepaid cards for the first time, then you need to closely make comparisons on each calling card providers’ services by clearly and properly understanding the fine print that is provided along with the calling card, and make decisions on which one are the best ones that suits your needs and requirements.

Compare Each Calling Card’s Connection Fees
Prior to buying a calling card, find out if there is a connection fee being charged. These fees are generally charged every time you make a successful call using that calling card. Successful call here also includes connecting to a voice mail, answering machine or pager. These types of fees generally vary between different calling card providers, and if you generally use the calling card to make short-distance calls then you may end up paying more as connection fees rather than the cost of actual call made. For consumers who make only short calls on a regular basis, be sure to check the ‘per minute rate’ and the connection fee to ensure that these would not be too excessive, as it would be no good paying low per minute rates and higher connection fees for a quick call. There’s usually a trade-off between per-call charges (connection fee) and per-minute charges. The higher the per-call charge is, the lower the per-minute charge usually is. If you make a lot of long calls, go with the higher per-call rate. If you make short calls, the higher per-minute cards are probably better for you. Presently, many prepaid phone cards providers have cheaper per minute charges, however have high connection fees.

Learn More about Rechargeable Cards And Expiry Dates
Prepaid phone calling cards do expire after a certain period. Check for the expiry dates provided by the calling cards providers. The usual expiration dates range from 3 to 6 months from the date of purchase or from the initial use of the calling card. If the calling card expires with a considerable amount of time as credit, you will surely lose that out after the expiry date. Some prepaid calling cards are rechargeable, and all you need to do is to simply add more minutes by contacting the calling card provider’s toll-free hotline numbers or support numbers.

Gain Valuable Product Info before Buying One
It is needless to say that considering only the above two points can help you find a good calling card. You need to also clarify if these prepaid calling card communication devices can offer high-quality connections and are easy to of use. Search on internet for the reviews of providers. You can also contact their customer support for questions or concerns regarding the quality of the phone calling card and judge from their response and feedback.

Business cards are a staple of business communication and introduction.

The ubiquitous business tool’s roots can be traced back to 15th century China as a “visiting card” for social introduction. Fast forward to London at the beginning of the 1600s and you find the basic calling card has evolved into “tradecards” — the predecessor of the modern business card — providing business-to-consumer advertising and maps to shops. Today we have e-cards, electronic profiles and a entire host of digital solutions for exchanging and keeping basic business information, but the venerable classic business card still has a prominent seat at the conference table. Being caught without a business card at the wrong moment can cost you a deal, an opportunity, a connection or even your next job.

Business in Japan takes the business card culture to an entirely different level. In Japan business cards are called a meishi, and a great deal of protocol and ceremony is involved in exchanging business cards when meeting new business contacts. The meishi is presented and received with great formality and respect.

Osasin varautua mahdollisiin pettymyksiin päätyessäni taiteelliseen alaan.

Tänään Gaafisen suunnittelun -tunnilla todellisuus kuitenkin iski.

KIITOS!

Social Cards are the new calling cards. The simple social card is a very effective way to add a very

Social Cards are the new calling cards. The simple social card is a very effective way to add a very personal touch to the lives of social media networkers, whether for career opportunities or just socializing. The calling cards of yesterday have been re-purposed and are fast becoming the method of choice for handing out your linkedin or facebook address without having to write it on napkin, or worse, the back of somebody’s business card. So as the term “calling cards” slides into the sunset, Social Cards are leading the way for 21st century networking.

The following Time Magazine article sheds more light on this interesting twist for life on the web.

“In the 1800s, there was a certain logic–and a cool distance–to the formal calling card. Those who were part of, or sought a place among, the social élite would deliver a card with their name engraved on it to someone’s home to request a visit. But now that you can IM, e-mail or text pretty much anyone immediately, the Victorian practice seems laughably outmoded, right? Not so, according to a growing number of enthusiasts reviving the old-fashioned social-networking tool. “Is it technology fatigue? A colorful way of branding yourself?”

the article continues …

“For young job-hoppers, a calling card offers not only a sense of permanence but also a chance for self-expression. In June, Mitch Stripling, an emergency planner who recently moved to New York City, printed cards with cell-phone, e-mail and descriptor (“neo Victorian calling card thingy”) info for his 10-year college reunion in an effort to reconnect with people he knew he wouldn’t have a chance to speak with at length. “I wanted to get away from the whole status thing at reunions, so a business logo didn’t feel right,” says Stripling, whose card was a buzz-generating hit at Williams College. “Having my own little logo frees me up. It’s a way to be expressive of me outside of whatever job I happen to be doing at the time.”
Perhaps the biggest reason the cards have delighted jaded 21st century types is that they work. Says Stripling: “I can’t say for sure if it was the card or just the effects of a reunion, but I heard from around 30 people from school in the weeks after.” Some are even planning visits.”

How many times have you been at some social networking function and wanted to hand somebody your car

How many times have you been at some social networking function and wanted to hand somebody your card, but not your regular business card? Most of us have had this experience. Maybe there is a career move opportunity involved and you just want to give a card with simple contact information. Or maybe you find yourself in a personal social situation and want to give a card with minimal contact information. The old fashioned answer to this dilemma is to always carry a “calling card” or in today’s world of social media and social networking a better name might be a “social card”.

You social card might have your name and a single web presence link address to Linkedin or Facebook or the like. No cell phone number, no address, just a single point of contact information. A good resource for such a card can be found at SocialCards.

The following is an excerpt from a Los Angeles Times article:

“In the era of LinkedIn, Facebook, vCards and BlackBerrys, the idea of a calling card may seem quaint, and 12 months into a full-on recession it could seem like an exercise in snobbery. But it shouldn’t, says Peter Post, director of the Emily Post Institute and coauthor of “The Etiquette Advantage in Business.” “My instant reaction isn’t: ‘Oh, that’s pretentious,’ ” he said. “It’s: ‘Oh, that’s considerate.’ Someone is providing information to you in a way that makes it easy to take in and utilize — and in a way that’s memorable.”

The sour economy and mounting unemployment actually buttress the case for having a professional-looking, nonbusiness business card. But take note: Whether you’re negotiating a play group or suddenly find yourself unshackled from the font and corporate logo of the man, there’s no excuse for going all Comic Sans typeface in periwinkle ink on the front, with a glossy clown photo on the back — unless you make balloon animals for a living.

At least, that’s what the experts tell us. We polled etiquette gurus, printers and a few card-carrying card carriers for some general guidelines on condensing your personality onto a few square inches of card stock.”

Achieved by using pre-paid calling card convenience, allowing it to become very popular in the United States. Pre-paid phone cards can be purchased almost anywhere, in supermarkets, convenience stores, gas stations, bookstores, and even sometimes their charity fund-raising or sale. Estimated 250-3000000 already in circulation.

Pre-paid phone cards, customers can simply call a toll-free access number, then enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and the dial number to reach almost anywhere in almost any phone. Some prepaid cards even allow you to speed dial function.

There are two pre-paid phone card market, the type of today, are two ways you can buy more talk time. First of all, if your card is charged, you can make free phone prepaid card to pay credit card distribution era. If the card is a waste, but use it all the time, all you need to do is buy a new one.

Pre-paid phone cards more than credit cards of some obvious advantages. For example, credit cards may be charged in a particular time more than any other long-distance calls, while those who usually pay the uniform price per minute, if you use requires at least in the United States, pre-paid cards. Mycoplasma.

In addition, pre-paid phone cards, the price per minute, according to a study, from 9 to 57 cents range, are generally much more expensive, from the home. If you lose your pre-paid cards, but only the value of time lost is its left side. With the credit card telephone, you will lose your card can be used by others until the abolition of the time, but an unspecified amount.

To be absolutely sure that you receive pre-paid calling card select the appropriate service, inspection fees, the company charges too much, if any. Also found that if there is a minimum time requirements, and requested the card use “rounded” like a business technology, sometimes you can call to the nearest 1 minutes, or close to 3 minutes.

It is essential analysis and development, and then choose a prepaid calling card comparison. First of all, we must have a cell phone call you how to make full use of, and when how long the appeal will be made more extensive knowledge. Is important for users to obtain information about call rates and data burden.

At a lower per-minute rates, or to pay the price too high is often called on to make significant long-term pre-paid phone cards in 10 to 15 minutes or even longer. However, if the caller requests in 10 minutes, pre-paid phone cards, there is a higher low per minute charges will be better.

The calling card company is turning to the community – to launch a great cause. This month of September will witness an interesting initiative by Kasamore – a didactic one – for customers and calling card users alike in Newark, DE, Capital Heights and Silver Spring, MD, and Dumfries, VA.

The purpose of the campaign is to inform this group about fraudulent calling card practices and to distinguish its brand and services from others in the industry. Some of the ways Kasamore will attempt to do this is educate consumers, during the session, about areas through which major calling card companies rip them off: connection fees, maintenance fees, toll-free charges, surfees and minute rounding. These are just a few of several unwarranted fees charged by many companies in the industry.

It is Kasamore’s belief that the average consumer might not challenge these hidden fees due to lack of knowledge about the process. Once such edification is provided, however, the company undoubtedly trusts that the educated customer will make the best decision when choosing a calling card.

Do not miss this opportunity to learn more about the company that serves you and the product you invest your money into when you purchase a Kasamore calling card.

About Kasamore

Kasamore offers prepaid international calling card service directly to consumers through a secure and easy-to-use web interface for purchase (via credit/debit card) and personal account management. Consumers can also purchase our prepaid calling cards from a wide variety of retail locations and commission agents. Kasamore assures that customers receive the minutes announced on every call and there are no fees of any kind. The company was incorporated on November, 2007 in Newark, DE.

I have a phone number now. It might only be temporary, because it is the house phone for VEG so I might just get my own. However, I will be the one who answers it all the time. The number is:

+233 0541917764

233 is the country code, and you may need to drop the 0 before calling.

You can also find pretty cheap phone cards online at www.callingcards.com!

I will try and take/post pictures this weekend and if anyone wants to try to set up a skype time let me know!
