On the Importance of Self-Imposed Limits

Today, I finished the rough draft of my Camp NaNovel. It ended up, by Word’s estimate, at 93,033 words total. The ending is awful and there are weird tonal shifts because I was too frustrated to completely rewrite the final scene, because as it turns out, the epically amazing book that I’ve been waiting ages and ages for ( 166 more words

Get anything useful done writing-wise yesterday. Didn’t edit, or work on my blurbs, or critique anybody.

I did, however, start collecting school uniforms for my kids, found them some great backpacks at the thrift store (a jansport, messenger style bag for $2.99!),  and got the grocery shopping done. 27 more words
