Mike Stern band at 55 Bar. We were practically sitting in the band and it was a great set.

Unfortunately to get any shots at all (without blinding the musicians with flash) I had to ramp the ISO up to 6400 with predictable results.

Hey readers, long time no post. I am not busy actually, just doesn’t have the mood to post anything. Today Friday, I miss my wordpress. And I have to post something. Okay, start with Happy Eid Adha to the muslims, I know it’s late. Nevermind lar. Here are some pictures I took during the morning of Eid Adha. Actually there’s a lot but lazy to upload it. Does everyone go through a phase when they think they’re horrible at taking pictures?

Entry aku kali ini bertemakan konsep warna hitam dan putih . Berbekalkan Canon 450D kepunyaan rakan aku serta lensa Canon 70-200mm F4L IS kepunyaan rakan juga, aku turun tangkap gambar pada sebelah petang selepas waktu pejabat.

Cuaca tidak menentu hujan, mendung, cerah pada waktu sekarang amat lah sukar untuk aku bergerak bebas. Sekian lama aku asyik mengolah gambar perkahwinan dan mengambil gambar perkahwinan teringin jugak aku nak buat gambar hitam dan putih .

Memang tidak dinafikan lagi sudah lama aku tak tangkap gambar ‘candid’ ..

dan akhir nya aku berkesempatan sedikit membuat gambar tersebut . Aku hanya shoot di lokasi berhampiran pejabat aku saja .

Kuching Waterfront adalah kawasan yang paling hampir dengan pejabat aku dan hasil nya…….. kita layan dulu ………

Wonder what are they looking.

Capture this in one of nasi kandar restaurant in my hometown.

I had the privilege of taking photos for RLFM Glory House, a small church under Pastor Pollie B. Johnson. RLFM was holding their annual Appreciation Banquet. This year’s theme was called “Reflections of Royalty.” This was the first time they were able to have a photographer present and I was honored to be the one to photograph this event. Here are a few photos from that night.

Hey, sekarang cuti sekolah .. dah sampai masanya untuk kita bersama-sama meraikan , musim PERKAHWINAN!!!! … yeah!!! … ok, ramai kawan-kawan aku dah mula menjejakkan kaki ke alam perkahwinan ni, dan tak lama lagi, Ali dan Ryia akan dengan sengajanya mengubah status Facebook masing-masng kepada “married to” waaaa…. seronok plak… anyway, aku telah diamanahkan oleh mereka untuk mngeluarkan sedikit sebanyak idea aku dalam menghasilkan foto pre-wedding mereka untuk menghiasi meja reception nnt … masa yang singkat dan keadaan cuaca yang tidak mengizinkan membuatkan banyak jugak shot yang dalam fikiranku tidak dapat dilakukan. Bagaimanapun, aku terpaksa berpuas hati dengan hasilnya…… HAYATI!!!

We don’t see this little one much any more, so each visit is a small heartbreak:  we’ve gone from being faces she looked for to being faces that draw a blank look.  Ouch.  She lives somewhere else, again, and don’t get me started on that.

Anyway, lately when we think of her we say wistful things like, “Maybe one of the others will have kids, or maybe the Lance Corporal will want more.”

This image is scanned from the photo, so there’s some loss in crispness.  In person, it’s quite beautiful, if I do say.

Caitlin is beautiful. Last weekend I got my Christmas presents from my dad-new camera lenses! They are amazing. I’ll tell you more about them later, but first-take a look at my beautiful friend! I needed to get the feel of my new lenses, and she was so willing to help me. Thank you Caitlin! You are beautiful!

The lenses I got are great for close-up shots. That’s really all I did during our mini-photoshoot. These were all taken in the hallway of my dorm. Caitlin was so sweet, I had only seen her for 15 seconds before saying, “Be my model for a minute! You look purdy.” So we just sat down in the hallway and had a blast. Her eyelashes are so long, the majority of the shots I took are just of her looking down, which exemplified her lashes perfectly.

I was experimenting with selecting only certain areas of a picture and applying a texture or action. What do you think? oh, and, ignore the messed up logo on the picture below
