From the swearing in of the first biracial to the Presidency of the United States to the Tea Party protesters movement, this country will never be the same. It has been said that change is good, in retrospect we’ll see. What we have seen thus far by the new President has been mediocre at best. The Obama brand “Hope and Change” is it tarnished forever?</p>
<p>Starting with Cap and Tax, Health Care reform, outrageous spending with rising national debt into the trillions, anti-terrorism failures, constitutional rights for enemy combatants, green jobs moving to China, unemployment at double digits, no focus to create jobs, back room deals in health care, no transparency as promised, Acorn scandals, a blatant disregard for the constitution, and the attempt to remove contextual heuristic structures of blue and white from the debate and replace it with a democratic (socialist) red reveals contemptible administrative actions. Is Obama trying to bankrupt the nation? <content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Politically speaking, an ideological line was drawn in the sand in 2008 and a year ago it cracked under the strain of the post-partisan presidency.  The &#8220;Lightworker&#8221; sent to heal our wounds and bring us all together in harmony, just like the old Coke commercial, wasn&#8217;t so post-partisan after all.  Republicans were shut out of committee meetings on pending legislation, and at one point Democrats literally <a href="http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704597704574485783622311444.html"><em>changed the locks</em></a> of a meeting room to keep Republicans out.  As the gap widened, common sense and fiscal responsibility fell down the hole, out of sight, out of fashion.</p>
<p>On one side of the crack were progressives, liberals, &#8220;regular&#8221; democrats, blue dog democrats, ideological college kids who&#8217;ve never had the pleasure of paying taxes and thought it was cool to not vote for &#8220;an old white dude,&#8221; non-political folks who got a good dose of Hope-n-Change and ordered a bumper sticker, and some disillusioned and hopeful (TM) republicans.  These folks bought into the Obamania and chanted &#8220;Yes we can!&#8221; and walked in lockstep towards a brighter tomorrow.  They were the ones they&#8217;d been waiting for.  What, you don&#8217;t understand what that means either?</p>
<p>Juxtaposed were dyed-in-the-wool republicans, people who vote republican because their parents do, people who vote republican because their parents <em>don&#8217;t</em>, neocons, fiscal conservatives, fiscal/social conservatives and libertarians.  We were the uncool crowd, the old curmudgeons who can&#8217;t stand &#8220;change,&#8221; we are racists, bigots and homophobes (which is ironic since <a href="http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/11/obama-on-mtv-i.html">Obama opposes gay marriage</a>).  We <em>are</em> Jesse Helms, frozen in the 1950&#8217;s in a Sarah Palin-shaped jello salad.  We are socially awkward.  We don&#8217;t like to help people.  We are mean, old, unenlightened white people, <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abPQ9kZe3ZA"><em>typical</em> white people</a>, you know the kind. We are selfish and most importantly, we are too stupid to even know we&#8217;re all these horrible things.</p>
<p>I write the above paragraph, tongue firmly planted in my cheek.  Nothing could be farther from the truth.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s a conservative?  Consider the following:</p>
<p>1. <strong> Conservatives are against &#8220;big&#8221; government</strong>.  Why?  Because the founders of this country did not design our government to perform all the duties it&#8217;s commandeered over the last 70 years.  The founders had a clear vision for this country, which was (and still is) the following:  <strong>The powers delegated to the federal government under the Constitution are &#8220;few and defined,&#8221; per James Madison. </strong>For example, the government was not intended to support a welfare state, nor any of the other entitlement programs such as Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid. The federal government is charged with maintaining infrastructure and providing national defense.  Those two areas are the only areas whereupon we should be paying taxes.</p>
<p>2.  <strong>Conservatives believe in economic freedom and generous giving.</strong> We believe you should be able to live your life without the government holding your hand, intruding into your wallet or telling you what sort of light bulb you should be using &#8220;for the greater good.&#8221;  We support the idea that you might just know what&#8217;s best for you without us butting in and regulating your behavior.  We believe that people will help others (by the by,<a href="http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/03/conservatives_more_liberal_giv.html"><strong> conservatives give 30% more to charity per year than liberals</strong></a>) if given the chance and the means.  We do not see taxes as altruistic, because if you&#8217;re going to take a &#8220;donation&#8221; from someone forcefully, it&#8217;s not really charity, now is it?</p>
<p>3.  <strong>Conservatives are against government waste and corruption.</strong> Why has the function of politician morphed from a civil service into a career, replete with multiple offices, multiple staffers, housing in DC, and in some cases (I&#8217;m looking at you, Nancy) the use of  US Air Force jets?  We also hate waste in the form of porked-up legislation (the Stimulus bill), extortion and blatant bribes such as the <a href="http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote/2009/11/the-100-million-health-care-vote.html">Louisiana purchase</a> and the <a href="http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/12/21/price-right-payoffs-senators-typical-health-care/">Nebraska Sell-Out</a>.</p>
<p>Conservatives also believe in freedom of religion which means you can have your prayer mat and point towards the east five times a day, but you better also be cool with us leaving the 10 commandments up in public.  Conservatives live by the axiom &#8220;Less is more.&#8221;  You enjoy simplicity?  Conservatism is for you.  You enjoy common sense solutions to problems?  Conservatism is for you.  You abhor drama?  Conservatism is for you.  Are you frugal with money?  Conservatism is for you.  Do you hate the DMV?  <em>ABSOLUTELY</em> conservatism is for you.</p>
<p>We are conservative because we realize that the more the government grows, the more it creeps into our everyday lives, which equates to liberties lost.  We believe that less is more when it comes to rules and regulations on peoples&#8217; lives.  We believe that Americans can and should take responsibility for themselves and not look to the government to solve their problems.  We believe the American people are a bright, determined, industrious group of individuals who don&#8217;t need a nanny telling them what to do with their lives.  We believe in freedom.</p>
<p>That said, I have a hard time understanding why folks are drawn to the left, where freedom always comes with a price.</p>
<p>You can have &#8220;free&#8221; health care BUT we&#8217;re going to be in charge of it and say who can have what and when they can have it.</p>
<p>You can live off welfare and government handouts, BUT you will become dependent on us and we&#8217;ll give you just enough to subsist and you&#8217;ll keep coming back for more because you&#8217;ll be stuck and won&#8217;t really have a choice.</p>
<p>We will &#8220;help&#8221; you save for your retirement, BUT you&#8217;re stuck getting our paltry 0.5%  interest rate, when you could invest privately and get a return average of 12%.  And no, you can&#8217;t opt out and invest it yourself.  We know best.</p>
<p>We will end <span style="text-decoration:line-through;">global warming </span>climate change, BUT it will require your power bill to increase by 92% and we will levy heavy taxes on businesses who will then pass the burden onto you, the consumer.  We are not sure how taxes will end <span style="text-decoration:line-through;">global warming</span> err, climate change so for right now, instead of calling them &#8220;taxes&#8221; we&#8217;re just going to call them &#8220;carbon indulgences.&#8221;</p>
<p>We will give you a free education, BUT you need to keep your First Amendment right in your cubby/locker at all times.</p>
<p>We will help create jobs, BUT we really can&#8217;t &#8211; that&#8217;s something only the private sector can do.  BUT a &#8220;green jobs initiative&#8221; sounds really great, doesn&#8217;t it?</p>
<p><strong>Hope for change in 2010.</strong></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>The past year has been incredibly illuminating; as a result of my political views and personal convictions, people I&#8217;ve know for years stopped talking to me and folks I barely know feel like old friends.  I&#8217;ve been &#8220;defriended&#8221; by a liberal relative on Facebook over a disagreement that began with a spat over the hoax of &#8220;global warming&#8221; and ended with a smart-aleky comment directed towards me, insinuating that I am low-hanging fruit of the intellectual variety.</p>
<p>Woe is she who does not care about the fact that we are &#8220;destroying&#8221; the planet!</p>
<p>Woe is she who does not own a Nalgene bottle!</p>
<p>Woe is she who does not drive a hybrid!</p>
<p>Woe is she who is in possession of Styrofoam!</p>
<p>A google search for &#8220;IPCC fraud&#8221; returns <strong>2,370,000</strong> hits.  &#8220;Climategate scandal&#8221; returns <strong>15.3 million</strong>!  <strong></strong>Have these green nuts bothered <a href="http://biggovernment.com/jlakely/2010/02/05/an-honest-ipcc-scientist-warns-his-colleagues-dont-dismiss-climategate/">reading the paper lately</a>?</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p><span style="color:#dc143c;">Lie after lie after lie.  David said it quite well when he said &#8220;<em>Obama not only wasn&#8217;t contrite about his broken promises and disastrous record; he was on the attack, daring anyone to oppose his agenda.</em>&#8220;</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#dc143c;">Here are a few of the adjectives I would use to describe Chairman Maobama&#8217;s State of the Union(s) speech: angry, narcissistic, disjointed, dishonest, unrepentant, unpresidential, classless, lacking decorum, and pathological.<br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#dc143c;">The writer of his speech should be fired, then taken to the woodshed for the number of lies, lack of facts, and other breaches of decorum in the speech.  But we know that will never happen, because O-bow-ma believed just about every word of the speech (except, of course, the part about drilling for oil and building nuclear power plants.)</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#dc143c;">The few democrats left that might remotely consider themselves as AMERICANS need to head for the life boats.  The true &#8220;progressives,&#8221; the followers of &#8220;the one,&#8221; are going down with the ship. </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#dc143c;"><strong>It&#8217;s time to start whispering &#8220;IMPEACHMENT.&#8221;</strong></span></p>

<p><span style="font-family:times;font-size:110%;">Watching President Barack Obama&#8217;s State of the Union speech makes me wonder whether the reason he tells so many fibs is that he believes them himself. Either that or he is an even better actor than he is a teleprompter reader.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:120%;font-style:italic;font-weight:bold;">Obama not only wasn&#8217;t contrite about his broken promises and disastrous record; he was on the attack, daring anyone to oppose his agenda</span> &#8212; even in the face of the Massachusetts rebuke. But let&#8217;s see how some of his statements match up with reality.</p>
<p>On health care, <span style="font-weight:bold;"> he taunted congressmen to &#8220;let me know&#8221; if any of them have &#8220;a better approach that will bring down premiums, bring down the deficit, cover the uninsured, strengthen Medicare for seniors and stop insurance company abuses,&#8221; <span style="text-decoration:underline;">as if his own plan would do those things.</span></span></p>
<p>Even the <span style="font-weight:bold;">Congressional Budget Office has said most of the Democratic plans would increase the budget.</span> Besides, <span style="font-size:120%;font-weight:bold;">you can&#8217;t reduce overall costs when government forces an increase in demand,</span> even if it caps insurance premiums and shifts costs elsewhere and/or imposes rationing. The CBO has also reported that <span style="font-size:120%;font-style:italic;font-weight:bold;">with Obamacare, millions would remain uninsured.</span> <span style="color:#cc5200;font-family:times;font-size:110%;"> So under his plan, costs would rise, quality and choice would decrease, care would be rationed, millions would remain uninsured and, worst of all, the government would acquire an unprecedented level of control over all aspects of our lives. </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008a2e;font-family:times;font-size:110%;"> Do conservatives have better ideas? </span> <span style="font-weight:bold;">Of course.</span> <span style="color:#008a2e;font-family:times;font-size:110%;">Restore market forces through tort reform, strengthening health savings accounts, abolishing government coverage mandates, allowing consumers to purchase policies across state lines and eliminating the tax laws incentivizing employer-provided health care, which unnecessarily increase demand by making prices invisible to consumers.</span></p>
<p>A candid Obama would have said, &#8220;If any of you have a plan that does not involve restoring market forces and reducing government&#8217;s role in the health care industry, I&#8217;ll at least pretend to look at it.&#8221; &#8220;Make no mistake,&#8221; <span style="font-size:120%;font-style:italic;font-weight:bold;">neither Obama nor his Democratic colleagues will support genuine health care reform, because to reduce costs, we must reduce government control, and they can&#8217;t abide that. Period.</span></p>
<p>As for spending, <span style="font-size:110%;font-weight:bold;"> Obama didn&#8217;t once apologize for his reckless expenditures. Instead, he blamed his soaring deficits on his predecessor, completely misrepresenting the projected deficits under President Bush and ignoring his own deliberate doubling of the national debt over the next 10 years.</span> <span style="color:#cc5200;font-family:times;font-size:110%;">That&#8217;s the issue Americans are losing sleep over, and he offers only Band-Aids and smoke and mirrors.</span></p>
<p>He says he will freeze a portion of the discretionary budget, but as Cato Institute reports, <span style="color:#cc5200;font-family:times;font-size:110%;">83 percent of the budget will be off-limits.</span> Other than his &#8220;stimulus&#8221; insanity, <span style="color:#cc5200;font-family:times;font-size:110%;font-weight:bold;">the real explosion in spending is occurring in the entitlements that he refuses to touch.</span> Even his mini-freeze wouldn&#8217;t begin until 2011 (why wait?), and it would be dwarfed by his planned spending increases for other socialistic projects, including a new &#8220;stimulus plan.&#8221; And how about that assault on personal and fiscal responsibility with his promise to forgive student loans after 20 years?</p>
<p>How Obama can stand before the nation and insist on spending more borrowed money to accomplish something his first &#8220;stimulus plan&#8221; didn&#8217;t achieve (job creation), but exacerbated, is beyond me. <span style="color:#cc5200;font-family:times;font-size:110%;">How he can blame President Bush for his own broken promise that unemployment wouldn&#8217;t exceed 8 percent if his &#8220;stimulus&#8221; bill were implemented is jaw-dropping.</span> <span style="color:#cc00ff;font-family:times;font-size:110%;">He even said he saved 2 million jobs.</span> <span style="color:#cc00ff;font-family:times;font-size:110%;font-weight:bold;">Scary delusional! Or scary sinister!</span></p>
<p>Speaking of chutzpah, did he actually dare to utter the words <span style="font-size:110%;font-weight:bold;"> &#8220;transparent&#8221; and &#8220;accountable&#8221;</span>? <span style="text-decoration:underline;">How about those phantom legislative districts receiving stimulus monies,</span> Mr. President? <span style="font-weight:bold;"> How about that promise to televise the health care debates on C-SPAN? </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:125%;font-style:italic;font-weight:bold;">He said he hadn&#8217;t raised income taxes &#8220;a single dime&#8221; on 95 percent of the people. Yet in almost the same breath, he promised to redouble his efforts on cap and tax, which would increase the average family&#8217;s energy costs by almost $3,000 per year. </span> I don&#8217;t believe his campaign promise was limited to income taxes, by the way. <span style="color:crimson;font-family:times;font-size:100%;">(He also said he had CUT taxes on the middle class. Being solidly in the middle class, I think I would know if that had actually happened.  Reducing my withholding so it looks like I’m getting a tax break, when it actually pushes me into a higher tax bracket forcing me to pay that much and more on April 15th is NOT a tax cut.  A “stimulus” check, which just gives back a small portion of what was mine to begin with, is not a tax cut.  Giving that same “stimulus” check to those who don’t pay taxes at all is just a handout, and communist redistribution of our hard earned money.)</span></p>
<p>How about his righteous ranting on <span style="color:#cc5200;font-family:times;font-size:110%;">earmark reform?</span> Sorry, we&#8217;ve been down that twisted road with you before, Mr. President. <span style="color:crimson;font-family:times;font-size:100%;">(There were some <span style="font-weight:bold;">9,000 earmarks</span> in the O-bow-ma porkulus bill.  I’d call that a step in the right direction, wouldn’t you? <em>(facetiousness intended)</em>)</span></p>
<p>Then there was his audacious <span style="color:#cc5200;font-family:times;font-size:110%;">riff on lobbyists.</span> Been there, done that, too, Mr. President, with your phony promise to keep lobbyists out of the White House.</p>
<p><span style="color:#cc5200;font-family:times;font-size:110%;">Obama also railed against &#8220;partisanship, shouting and pettiness&#8221; as he filled most of his speech with just those things,</span> even castigating the Supreme Court, erroneously, for opening the door to foreign corporations&#8217; campaign contributions.</p>
<p>How about his statement that &#8220;America must always <span style="color:#cc5200;font-family:times;font-size:110%;">stand on the side of freedom and human dignity&#8221;?</span> Hmm. Tell that to the Iranian and Honduran peoples. <span style="font-weight:bold;"> He must have meant once he&#8217;s out of office. </span></p>
<p>Then there was his bizarre out-of-body pivot, when he blamed Washington for our problems. <span style="color:crimson;font-family:times;font-size:110%;">(Narcissistic clown.)</span></p>
<p>All of this, especially Obama&#8217;s obvious incapacity for self-doubt, is disturbingly surreal. <span style="color:crimson;font-family:times;font-size:110%;">(It’s like the speech he gave the other day on “tax cuts.”  In that speech, he said “I” over 120 time while mentioning the subject of the speech, tax cuts, only TWICE.  It’s kind of like the Toby Keith song “<em>I wanna talk about me</em>.”  (<em>I wanna talk about me, Wanna talk about I, Wanna talk about number one</em>…) He is a self-centered, communist/progressive, anti-America, probably NOT American danger to America, our constitution, and our way of life.)</span></p>

Not by CO2 emissions but by the hot air produced by our progressive/socialist president.  The president has now proposed off shore drilling and nuclear power plants, Of course these will be tied to his crap on trade bill.  Once added and the bill still fails he will say see they are obstructionists and the party of no.  The health bill is over 2000 pages long that covers a wide variety of issues.  </p>
<p>I propose something much better then a line item veto that would add massive accountability, eliminate earmarks, and probably reduce spending.  I think that it is high time for a constitutional amendment that limits the house and senate to only introduce single issue bills and the only amendments to the bills have to be directly related to those bills.  The bills can’t be broad issue bills like health care reform but specific issues like eliminating pre-existing conditions and a separate bill calling for allowing for insurance purchases across state lines.</p>
<p>This would make the representatives more accountable by making everyone aware of those responsible for bad policy, it could no longer be buried in 2000 page bills that no rep has read or understands, the only reason that they vote for these bills is that they got what they wanted out of the bill and don’t understand or don’t care about the repercussions of the rest of the bill.</p>
<p>Both the president and the republican rebuttal called for common sense legislation, and the elimination of earmarks, as an avid Libertarian/Tea bagger, neither party represents me but enacting this policy is common sense at its basic level.  It would hold the congressmen accountable for bad policy instead of hiding their agenda and bad policy in popular bills.  It also allow people like me know exactly where they stand, they could no longer hide behind 2000 page bills, after all the most important legislation in the history of our republic was the has been the Constitution and it covers only a few pages and took 200 years to write, not 200 days to write and over 2000 pages.</p>

<p align="justify">She has further defined what it means to be a “common sense conservative,” and has positioned herself to be a voice of the people.&#160; She has proven that she doesn’t need a title to do so.&#160; <a href="http://caffeinatedthoughts.com/?p=4504" target="_blank">I don’t know what her future entails</a>, but 2010 is off to a great start with her <a href="http://caffeinatedthoughts.com/?p=4858" target="_blank">new role with Fox News</a>, giving <a href="http://caffeinatedthoughts.com/?p=4875" target="_blank">some terrific interviews</a>, and plans for further speeches and <a href="http://www.facebook.com/notes/sarah-palin/ride-the-tide-with-commonsense-candidates/257959968434" target="_blank">stumping for candidates</a>.</p>
<p align="justify">Well she isn’t retreating after all, just reloading.</p>

<p>They claim that it was the will of their god.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Why give thanks to God? Because we are here,&#8221; Toussaint said. &#8220;We say &#8216;Thank you God.&#8217; What happened is the will of God. We are in the hands of God now.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>If it is something they are thankful for then we should immediately stop all aid to that nation since they are in a condition that they are thankful for and we should not want to supress their freedoms including the freedom to practice their religion.</p>
<p>Since they are in the hands of their god now they obviously do not need any help from anyone else including the fortune that Obama will spend, increasing the US deficit beyond his record-setting levels and driving the US further into debt.</p>
<p>This reaction on the part of the Hatians is indicative of people who are uneducated and have been indoctrinated into a belief system.  They have lost the capacity to reason and think for themselves.  And despite any evidence to the contrary, even in life and death situations, people will abandon all sensibility and concoct even the most ridiculous or fantasies before coming to the realization that their beliefs are horribly wrong.  We have seen this with religious opposition to medical technology such as stem cell research, global warming and we have seen it consistently with socialists.</p>
<p>It is apparently a condition of some that when their is adversity they run to anything or anyone that will absolve them of the responsibility of having to deal with the problem themselves.  That is why Barack Obama and the Socialist-Democrats are so popular among the uneducated (including the liberal, socialist elite who have no knowlege of the socialist causes they champion such as socialist health care and eco-socialist programs like Kyoto, Copenhagen and the Obama/Gore cap and tax proposal) and those who occupy the lower economic levels of society.  Those people find comfort in the likes of Obama, Gore ,socialists and religion because they all promise to solve all problems without any effort or sacrifice. </p>
<p>In difficult situations, the weak-mided are not only willing to give up any and all freedoms, they seek to embrace anyone and anything that they can turn their freedoms over to.  That is their choice and they should be allowed to do so.  The problem is when these weak-mided willing slaves also seek to violently impose their views upon others who do not want to be slaves as is the case in socialist nations such as Cuba, Venezuela and the United States.</p>

<p>The federal government is exercising powers that do not belong to it. The authority to force citizens to purchase insurance, to decree that carbon dioxide is a pollutant and writing laws to &#8220;regulate&#8221; it does not exist at the federal level. The clear list of enumerated powers do not give these incredible powers to the federal government.</p>
<p>Since these powers are unconstitutional, the federal government does not have authority to force the states to enforce these illegal acts. A state by exercising its 1oth amendment rights, can reject enforcing these laws and decrees. There is no room in the constitution for decrees. Proper and legal legislation is written by congress, not by an executive agency like the EPA. Further, legal legislation does not extend government powers beyond those written into the Constitution. The founding fathers made it difficult to expand government on purpose, because they experience first hand the abuses of a government with near unlimited power.</p>
<p>By expanding the powers of government without constitutional authority, the present and previous administrations have practically destroyed the defenses that have protected us from naked tyranny. Only by rebuilding the walls of states&#8217; rights can we start to turn back the tide of tyranny before the elections later this year. Because the laws are illegal, the states can ignore unfunded mandates, forcing their citizens to pay health care taxes or buy insurance, or forcing their residents to buy carbon credits or pay carbon taxes (assuming the &#8220;Cap and Tax&#8221; Bill makes it through the senate.</p>
<p>In addition, the 9th Amendment says this:</p>
<blockquote><p>The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.</p></blockquote>
<p>The founding fathers, having intimate knowledge of the abuses of the power of the government to compel its subjects to purchase goods and services, intentionally declined to give the federal government such a power. It is absurd to think that they would have ever authored a document granting such immense powers to the federal government. If they had wanted such powers in federal hands, they never would have rebelled.</p>
<p>Therefore, it makes reasonable sense for the states to step in to protect the constitutional rights of their citizens, the 9th amendment giving added ammunition to the use of the individual states as bulwarks against an unruly expanding government that seeks to reinterpret (distort) the Constitution to deny even the enumerated rights of the people (such as the distortion that the 2nd amendment is a &#8220;collective&#8221; right even as the other rights, such as freedom of speech, are seen [rightly and literally so] as individual rights).</p>

<description><![CDATA[New polling shows that former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) CEO Linda McMahon has a three poin]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p><a href="http://race42008.com/2009/12/22/poll-alter-moore-information-mcmahon-v-simmons/" target="_blank">New polling</a> shows that former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) CEO Linda McMahon has a three point lead over her Republican primary opponent for Connecticut&#8217;s U.S. Senate seat, Rob Simmons. This is a major development for the McMahon campaign, which has been looking to take away Simmons&#8217; widely recognized status as the front runner. She is also leading incumbent Democratic Sen. Chris Dodd <a href="http://libertarianrepublican.blogspot.com/2009/12/poll-shocker-mcmahon-takes-lead-in-ct.html" target="_blank">by either two or six points</a>, depending on whether you&#8217;re asking Quinnipiac or Rasmussen.</p>
<p>While McMahon has now demonstrated that she can beat both Simmons and Dodd, she has yet to demonstrate that she is principled enough to beat back President Obama&#8217;s big government agenda.</p>
<p>McMahon&#8217;s apparent lack of conservative <em>bona fides</em> has been a problem for her campaign time and time again. She has <a href="http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/72457-incumbents-from-both-parties-may-require-their-own-bailouts" target="_blank">supported the TARP bailouts</a>, eliciting the condemnation of <a href="http://www.joinrobsimmons.com/articles/sean-williams-mcmahon-is-wrong" target="_blank">at least one Connecticut state representative</a>. <a href="http://www.joinrobsimmons.com/articles/statement-on-mcmahons-hedge-regarding-trial-of-ksm" target="_blank">She hedged</a> when asked if Khalid Sheikh Mohammed should be tried in the United States, <a href="http://www.joinrobsimmons.com/articles/simmons-campaign-statement-on-mcmahon-s-new-position-on-9-11-trials" target="_blank">only belatedly stating her opposition</a> two days later. She opposed the &#8220;stimulus,&#8221; but accepted about $3 million in government subsidies for the WWE &#8212; then turned around and laid off 10% of her workforce at the beginning of this year.</p>
<p>McMahon is pro-choice and has donated to the RINO PAC Republican Majority for Choice, and she and husband Vince McMahon have donated tens of thousands of dollars to Democrats over the years &#8212; including now-White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel as recently as 2008.</p>
<p>Today, Linda McMahon has a new problem. From the Rust Belt has learned that, under McMahon&#8217;s leadership, the WWE&#8217;s <a href="http://vote.wwe.com/" target="_blank">Smackdown Your Vote</a> project brought McMahon&#8217;s business into direct partnership with liberal youth organizations that got out the vote for Barack Obama and Democrats nationwide. These same organizations are now working to advance big government initiatives like ObamaCare and Cap and Tax, and one of them &#8212; <a href="http://www.rockthevote.com/" target="_blank">Rock the Vote</a> &#8212; has recently released a web ad encouraging teenagers and young adults to use their sexuality as a political tool to pressure others into supporting socialized medicine.</p>

<p><!--more-->Smackdown Your Vote is billed as &#8220;an non-partisan campaign . . . [w]orking with several non-partisan partners.&#8221; But if you take a look at SYV&#8217;s <a href="http://vote.wwe.com/network/" target="_blank">network of partners</a>, two actively pursue a liberal agenda while a third actually calls itself a &#8220;partisan political organization.&#8221;</p>
<p>The first of these supposedly &#8220;non-partisan partners&#8221; is Rock the Vote, prominently featured on the front page of the SYV website. SYV also gets <a href="http://www.blog.rockthevote.com/category/wwe-smackdown" target="_blank">its own category</a> on the RtV blog.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"><a href="http://fromtherustbelt.wordpress.com/2009/12/22/rock-the-vote-radical-partisan-and-coming-to-a-civics-class-near-you/" target="_blank">As discussed in a previous post</a>, Rock the Vote bills itself as a non-partisan organization to increase youth voter turnout &#8212; but it&#8217;s anything but non-partisan. Jehmu Greene, RtV president from 2000-2005, has been active in liberal Democratic politics before and after heading up the organization. RtV&#8217;s Political and Issues Director, Hans Riemer, was the National Youth Vote Director for Barack Obama&#8217;s primary campaign.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Indeed, RtV describes itself as &#8220;progressive.&#8221; We can see just what kind of progress RtV is pursuing in its recent &#8220;F the Vote&#8221; web ad, in which teenagers and young adults are encouraged to use their sexuality as a political tool for the advancement of ObamaCare. <em>Warning: The following video is <strong>not</strong> safe for work<strong>.</strong></em></p>

<p style="text-align:left;">Next up is the <a href="http://www.lwv.org/" target="_blank">League of Women Voters</a>, another of SYV&#8217;s &#8220;non-partisan partners.&#8221; The following screencap of the very top of the LWV website says all that needs to be said about the LWV&#8217;s &#8220;non-partisanship.&#8221; And believe me, it only gets worse the further into the site you delve.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;">I&#8217;m sure you caught the four consecutive references to &#8220;health care reform,&#8221; including LWV&#8217;s support for the public option &#8212; flanked by a right and left sidebar also promoting ObamaCare. But don&#8217;t miss the reference to &#8220;global climate change&#8221; in the top lefthand corner. It&#8217;s clear that ObamaCare and Cap and Tax are at the very top of the agenda for one of Smackdown Your Vote&#8217;s &#8220;non-partisan partners.&#8221;</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">But we&#8217;ve saved the most egregious member of this &#8220;non-partisan&#8221; partnership for last. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you&#8230;</p>

<p style="text-align:left;">There are a number of ways that one could dismiss this. Maybe McMahon wasn&#8217;t <em>directly</em> involved in this project. Or maybe it was just good business. But those excuses aren&#8217;t going to fly. McMahon has cited her business as her qualification <em>par excellence</em> for the United States Senate, arguing that because she has experience running a business she knows what America needs to promote economic growth. Even as she makes this argument, she continually refuses to actually <em>name</em> the business that she ran, because she knows as well as everyone else that its programming is filled with violent and sexual content marketed to teenagers and young adults.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Her business is her supposed qualification, so let&#8217;s talk about her business. She just laid off 10% of her workforce after receiving about $3 million in taxpayer subsidies. She has used the profits from her business to give tens of thousands of dollars to Democratic candidates, including President Obama&#8217;s current chief of staff. And now we learn that her business is partnered with liberal youth organizations that helped &#8220;rock the vote&#8221; for Barack Obama &#8212; including an organization that encourages teens and young adults to have sex and politicize their sexuality, and another that is <em>actually affiliated with the Democratic Party</em>.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Maybe Linda McMahon can beat Rob Simmons. Maybe she can even beat Chris Dodd. But we can&#8217;t have any confidence that she&#8217;ll fight tooth and nail to beat back Obama&#8217;s big government agenda, because she&#8217;s not a principled conservative or libertarian.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Ladies and gents, Linda McMahon is a RINO. She is an opportunist who would like to add the title of senator to her autobiography, and she sees a Senate seat she might be able to grab. Support for the bailouts. Hedging on show trials for terrorists. Taxpayer subsidies for her business. Donations to RINO PACs and tens of thousands to Democrats. And a business that is in league with the radical organizations who were busy last November getting out the vote for Barack Obama, and who are now ferociously advocating for his agenda. How much more Scozzafava can you get without actually <em>being</em> Dede Scozzafava?</p>

<p><a href="http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/environment/article6964473.ece#cid=OTC-RSS&#38;attr=797084">The British Stupid Party is leaning on the American Stupid Party to pass cap-and-tax</a>.  What the former stupid party doesn&#8217;t realize is that the latter stupid party doesn&#8217;t have control of either American legislative body.  But, as the <em>Times</em> states, The President and Vice-President of the Media are both on board, and you can bet Snowe and Collins will run back to the plantation.  If anything&#8217;s gonna stop it, it&#8217;ll be hesitant Democrats.  Harry Reid all you&#8217;ll ever need pretty much emptied out his bribery chest to get HCR votes, so he won&#8217;t have any capital to spend to Cap-and-Tax.  I would expect a lot of Democrat defections, if Reid brings up it.  2010 being en election year, he probably won&#8217;t.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>The Democratic Party is waging an intergenerational war. Their primary targets? Those of us who are 35 years old and younger. The question is: Are we going to fight or are we going to surrender?</p>
<p>Socialists, by definition, are the enemies of youth. The Marxist imperative &#8212; &#8220;From each according to his ability, to each according to his need&#8221; &#8212; exhorts socialists to enslave the young, requiring our hard work and then taking what we earn from our work and giving it to older generations.</p>
<p>Who will pay for insolvent entitlements for the elderly like Social Security and Medicare? We will. Those well over the age of 35 initiated the government takeover of health care, <a href="http://frontpagemag.com/2009/12/21/how-obamacare-will-hurt-young-people-by-dick-morris/" target="_blank">but we will benefit the least from it while paying the most for it</a> (h/t <a href="http://www.the-two-malcontents.com/2009/12/21/how-obamacare-will-hurt-young-people/" target="_blank">The Two Malcontents</a>). Those over the age of 35 are engaging in massive deficit spending primarily for their own benefit, but we will bear the responsibility of paying that debt back. Congressmen and senators who are far older than 35 are planning to implement the largest tax increase in American history in the dubious pursuit of curbing carbon emissions, but citizens under 35 will pay those taxes and suffer through the job loss created by such stifling taxation.</p>
<p>Democrats at the state and local levels won&#8217;t balance their budgets by cutting spending. So what do they do instead? In Pittsburgh, <a href="http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/a-tax-you-can-almost-like/" target="_blank">they tax your college tuition</a> to pay pensions, insisting that providing income for the retired is more important than your education. You can bet that a similar tax is coming to a college town near you. Meanwhile, in California, college tuition is going up 32% because of the ineptitude of liberal Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Democratic legislature. Here in Ohio, at my own Ohio University, <a href="http://thepost.ohiou.edu/main.asp?SectionID=1&#38;SubSectionID=1&#38;ArticleID=30014" target="_blank">I&#8217;m looking forward to a 3.5% tuition increase next year</a> because of fiscal irresponsibility on the part of Gov. Ted Strickland and OU administrators.</p>
<p>People from our generation turned out in record numbers to elect Barack Obama last year and give Democrats huge majorities in both chambers of Congress. Maybe you were one of them. I was, and I&#8217;m smart enough to regret it today because I see them using their power to subjugate my future to the insatiable hunger of the state. How many Pittsburgh students do you think helped elect Democratic Mayor Luke Ravenstahl? How many UC students helped elect the legislators responsible for their 32% tuition increase? How many OU students hit the ballot box for Ted Strickland?</p>
<p>If you were duped like I was duped, it&#8217;s a forgivable offense. The genius of socialism is that it exploits youthful inexperience and idealism to its own advantage. Socialists make utopian promises of hope and change, of slowing the rise of the oceans and healing the planet, but they never explain to the young people they&#8217;re busy mesmerizing that these promises come at a cost. The cost is your freedom and prosperity, <em>yours specifically</em>.</p>
<p>If you were duped, you&#8217;re forgiven. But the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. I began this post asking a very simple question: Will we fight or will we surrender? If we turn our heads and ignore the political process next year and in 2012, we surrender. If we get all wrapped up in fads and third parties that aren&#8217;t electorally viable, if we declare ourselves Anarchists or Greens or Libertarians, we surrender. If we go back to the ballot box and cast votes for the same Democrats who are waging intergenerational war against us, we surrender.</p>
<p>I, for one, am going to fight. If you want to fight, if you&#8217;re not willing to give up your freedom and prosperity in exchange for empty utopian promises, then you should join me. The alternative, <em>the only alternative</em>, is the only existing political opposition &#8212; and that is the Republican Party. It&#8217;s at a crossroads right now, a time of soul-searching and getting back to basics. Those of us who are under 35 have a historic opportunity to participate, to push for a libertarian Republican Party with a <em>live and let live</em> agenda consistent with our generation&#8217;s principles. We can either participate or we can withraw. But remember, withdrawal is surrender and <em>your future</em>, <strong>yours</strong>, is at stake.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t surrender. Fight. Join the Republican resistance and demand freedom and prosperity for Generations Y and Z. This is your wake-up call.</p>

It’s one thing to knock ObamaCare on it’s backside, there are only billions of dollars in payoffs and corruption riding on that deal. But the global warming hustle truly is the whole enchilada!</p>
<p>Not billions, but trillions of dollars will change hands. Government control like you’ve never even dreamed of will come to pass. Taxes will flow into incompetent government hands like never before. Energy will &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">necessarily skyrocket</span>.&#8221;</p>

<p>Of course, the real story is all of the money that will be made trading &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">carbon credits</span>.&#8221; Al Gore, the Bernie Madoff of the climate change movement, has made hundreds of millions of dollars already off this scam, and stands to make billions.</p>
<p>As I wrote in an earlier piece, Obama and his friends also stand to make out like bandits if cap and trade laws are enacted. <a href="http://www.chicagoclimatex.com/index.jsf">The Chicago Climate Exchange</a> is already up and running, and ready to go when all of these insane laws are enacted. Of course, being Chicago, there is absolutely, positively no corruption going on with this deal. Uh huh. There’s this bridge for sale that you just must see if you believe that one!</p>
<p>Just to bring everyone up to speed. If you remember the failed, disgraced Governor from California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, decided to go off on Sarah for her resent stance on the hoax, the greatest lie ever told. Sarah, in what is her usual style, <a href="http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=202792358434">fired right back</a> with this:</p>

<p>Why is Governor Schwarzenegger pushing for the same sorts of policies in Copenhagen that have helped drive his state into record deficits and unemployment? While I and all Alaskans witness the impacts of changes in weather patterns firsthand, I have repeatedly said that we can’t primarily blame man’s activities for those changes. And while I did look for practical responses to those changes, what I didn’t do was hamstring Alaska’s job creators with burdensome regulations so that I could act &#8220;greener than thou&#8221; when talking to reporters.</p>

<p>Sarah has what is probably the most reasonable stance there is on the whole notion of climate change. Being someone in a position of power she honestly didn’t have the luxury to just call these liars out and blow them off. And, as someone who spent time as her state’s chief energy and environmental regulator, Sarah knows more than the average politician and humble blogger about the subject.</p>
<p>Climate change may be happening, but the climate on earth has a history of changing. The earth is millions of years old, for goodness sake! We’ve had heat waves and ice ages. All before man even existed! Obviously if the entire earth was covered in ice, and we now have places where it is not, there was some significant warming.</p>
<p>Anyhow, one failed California Governor <span style="font-style:italic;">pwned</span>.</p>
<p>But why did Arnold even bother to speak up? What prompted all of this? Well, as always, follow the money! Our friend and colleague, The Might Serf, went to town on this one and found some fascinating information:</p>

<p>In an interview with George Stephanopoulos, from the COP15 Climate Summit in Copenhagen, Governor Schwarzenegger took a swipe at Governor Palin. He was asked about her editorial published in the Washington Post last week. He replied:</p>
<p>&#8220;Y<span style="font-style:italic;">ou have to ask: what was she trying to accomplish? Is she really interested in this subject or is she interested in her career and in winning the nomination? You have to take all these things with a grain of salt.</span>&#8220;</p>
<p>Tack on &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">mind reader</span>&#8221; to Arnie&#8217;s long list professional talents&#8230;</p>
<p>Not only is that conjecture on his part, it&#8217;s also a convenient way to avoid the subject matter and deal with what she said. Arnold deflects the debate, as is common with the global warming faithful and turns it into a &#8216;what&#8217;s Palin going to do next&#8217; moment.</p>
<p>Then he goes on to say:</p>
<p>&#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">We in California have proven it over and over that you can protect the economy, and you can protect the environment</span>.&#8221; &#8230;</p>
<p>&#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">I don&#8217;t think you have to choose. I think it is nonsense talk to say let&#8217;s talk first about the economy.</span>&#8220;</p>
<p>Either Arnold needs advisors that don&#8217;t lie to him or he has a serious literacy issue. The last time I checked, the statewide California unemployment rate was at 12.3 percent. With the highest rated area, a town about forty minutes east of where I&#8217;m sitting, called El Centro at 22.6 percent.</p>
<p>The report goes on to say:</p>
<p>As a Californian who happens to believe that we are in a current trend of &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">global cooling</span>&#8221; (and yes, lefties that also is a &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">change</span>&#8221; in climate) and also someone forced to live under the green foot of my state government, I got a little more joy from that post than some.</p>
<p>She correctly points out the economic mess California is in and accurately points to one of the main culprits. Arnold keeps talking about these &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">green jobs</span>&#8221; (<a href="http://voices.washingtonpost.com/44/2009/09/06/van_jones_resigns.html">sounds familiar</a>) but when you look at the numbers I posted above, the small number of positions that open up in the market aren&#8217;t enough to even put a small dent into those figures.</p>
<p>When my car can run off of algae, we may see a boost in the green economy. Until then, realize what makes an economy work and what doesn&#8217;t. Like new regulations and laws for instance&#8230; Those are instant job killers. If you mandate small businesses that are already stretched too thin, they will lay off workers. They don&#8217;t have a choice. In business, you do whatever it takes to make it to the next month.</p>
<p>Now, to the &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">why</span>&#8221; in Governor Palin&#8217;s statement.</p>
<p>I remember when Arnold Schwarzenegger spent his time <a href="http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/.a/6a00d8341c630a53ef011570c00e4f970b-800wi">trying to convince American&#8217;s that they should buy a Hummer</a>. Well those days are long gone and a new Climate Crusader has emerged in place of that carbon spewing truck peddler.</p>
<p>Schwarzenegger is now one of the most outspoken global warming alarmists in public office today. He has dramatically steered this state toward more &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">green</span>&#8221; centered policies, programs, and worst of all, mandates. So did he have an epiphany? Did his wife&#8217;s family convince him over turkey dinner during the holidays?</p>
<p>Probably not, but I believe Robert Kennedy, his wife&#8217;s cousin, has everything to do with Arnold&#8217;s conduct in regards to environmental policies.</p>
<p>Robert Kennedy is not only the governor&#8217;s relative but he is also one of Arnold&#8217;s closest advisors, even if he does serve in an unofficial capacity. The two of them can be seen at various press announcements and environmental meetings talking about their great plans to reconstruct California into a &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">green economy</span>.&#8221;</p>
<p>There&#8217;s just one problem with that&#8230; A slight conflict of interest arises when one looks over the contracts and plans Californians will be forking money over for in these deals. Robert Kennedy is a Venture Partner and Senior Advisor for a company called <a href="http://www.vpvp.com/robert_f_kennedy_jr">VantagePoint Venture Partners</a>. VantagePoint has a multimillion-dollar stake in a company called BrightSource, who produces solar technology. BrightSource has lobbied to build a massive energy project in the Mojave Desert. The project <a href="http://www.jbs.org/jbs-news-feed/3545-schwarzenegger-continues-to-pursue-green-agenda">would provide power to 142,000 homes</a> and cost about $2 billion. BrightsSource hopes to build three solar-powered plants situated on land near the Nevada-California borders. As Schwarzenegger told a joint conference of Mexican and U.S. governors, &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">They’re going to blanket the world with solar panels</span>.&#8221;</p>
<p>Last year Governor Schwarzenegger also announced <a href="http://www.betterplace.com/global-progress/california">a plan to build a massive electric vehicle grid</a> that would cover most of California. At the press conference in San Francisco, Robert Kennedy said &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">Creating an energy-independent economy is our generation&#8217;s moon-shot</span>.&#8221; Whatever &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">moon-shot</span>&#8221; means, I don&#8217;t know but I don&#8217;t like it. He also said &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">For too long we&#8217;ve believed that economy and environment stood at odds with each other. By coming together in this time of turmoil to build a clean transportation infrastructure, this generation will fuel the economic and environmental prosperity of generations to come</span>.&#8221; Given the fact that Robert attended that conference as a representative of VantagePoint, you better believe they are looking to rake in millions from the deal.</p>
<p>In fact, there is an overwhelming amount of information out there that points to Governor Schwarzenegger&#8217;s real motives in pushing a &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">green</span>&#8221; economy. It&#8217;s all about money and it has little to do with the environment. As is usually the case when it comes to the big names in the Climate Change &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">movement</span>.&#8221; Just do a quick search into Al Gore&#8217;s finances to see how philanthropic that guy really is. I&#8217;ll go out on a limb here and call the man a profiteer.</p>
<p>As far as Governor Palin&#8217;s motives behind publishing words of warning and giving Obama advice (good advice) on environmental matters&#8230; She&#8217;s trying to help the country. Nothing else. She has no financial ties or personal ties to an industry that stands to heavily profit from the outcome of the Copenhagen Summit. In fact, I&#8217;ve done a lot of research into Governor Palin&#8217;s background and connections&#8230; I&#8217;ve linked her up to the Rotary Club and the NRA. That&#8217;s it.</p>
<p>By the way, for any of you that still think Arnold resides on the right, politically speaking. The left-wing Annenberg Foundation,<a href="http://www.sacbee.com/politics/story/2387274.html"> helped cover the bill </a>for his trip to Copenhagen through a <a href="http://www.annenbergfoundation.org/grants_database/grants_database_show.htm?doc_id=478693">California State Protocol Foundation</a> grant. I wonder if Robert made the journey too???</p></blockquote>
<p>Regular readers of this website will recognize the name Annenberg Foundation straightaway. This is the very same Annenberg Foundation that gave the unrepentant murdering domestic terrorist William Ayers, and his good old buddy Barack Obama $60 million dollars for &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">education,</span>&#8221; which Ayers and Obama then in turn gave to radical groups like ACORN, you know, <span style="font-style:italic;">&#8220;for the children</span>.&#8221;</p>

<p>Look, Schwarzenegger is married to a &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">Kennedy</span>.&#8221; That alone makes him suspect on many levels, but it’s not really all that hard to figure out what is going on here.</p>

<p>Now&#8230;.As we talked about before, Sarah’s two Op-Eds she wrote for the <span style="font-style:italic;">Washington Post</span> were some of the most read of the entire year. The one she wrote in July on the subject of global warming was the third most read. Predictably, the loons have lost their minds over this! In the world of the democrat/communist, dissenting thought, and differences of opinion, simply are not tolerated, and most certainly not written.</p>
<p>The <span style="font-style:italic;">Washington Post</span> has, of course, been savaged for allowing <span style="font-style:italic;">that woman</span> to sully the pages of their fine paper. The reaction by the crazies has been hilarious, well worth the time to observe. These people’s entire lives are based on lies, and they can’t justify themselves. Liberalism is one of those things that simply cannot withstand the light of day, or hockey moms from Wasilla, Alaska.</p>
<p>So, <span style="font-style:italic;">WaPo</span> trots out their resident hack, Eugene Robinson, to satisfy the moonbats. What could go wrong?</p>

<p>I’d like to thank Eugene Robinson for highlighting Alaska’s achievements on climate change ["<a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/12/14/AR2009121402712.html"><span style="font-style:italic;">Palin’s own ‘Climate- gate</span></a>,’" op-ed, Dec. 15] and for noting that I’ve &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">treated the issue as serious, complex, and worthy of urgent attention</span>,&#8221; while making &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">any number of pragmatic, reasonable, smart decisions as governor</span>.&#8221; But he’s wrong to suggest that <a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/12/08/AR2009120803402.html">my views</a> have somehow changed or that now I’ll have to &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">renounce</span>&#8221; my past efforts.</p>
<p>Once again: I don’t deny that climate change is real. In creating a sub-cabinet to deal specifically with the issue, I said that &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">Alaska’s climate change strategy must be built on sound science and the best available facts and must recognize Alaska’s interest in economic growth and the development of its resources</span>.&#8221; That goal made sense to me then, and it makes sense to me now.</p>
<p>Mr. Robinson tries to make hay out of the fact that I asked the group to advise me regarding opportunities to participate in &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">carbon-trading markets</span>.&#8221; But considering voluntary participation in carbon-trading programs is much different from endorsing the economically disastrous cap-and-tax proposals put forward by Democrats in Washington. Those proposals will burden our job creators and raise energy prices for all of us, and that’s why I oppose them.</p>
<p>As governor of Alaska, I sought common-sense solutions that took real-world costs and benefits into account. That’s what I’m looking for now. But that’s not what’s on the table in Washington or in Copenhagen.</p>

The Russian media <a href="http://eureferendum.blogspot.com/2009/12/sheeet.html">first posted the story</a> and now some <a href="http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/jamesdelingpole/100020126/climategate-goes-serial-now-the-russians-confirm-that-uk-climate-scientists-manipulated-data-to-exaggerate-global-warming/">Brits are loving it</a>.</p>
<p>The long and the short of it is best summarized by the <span style="font-style:italic;">Telegraph’s</span> James Dellingpole: &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">What the Russians are suggesting here, in other words, is that the entire global temperature record used by the IPCC to inform world government policy is a crock</span>.&#8221;</p>
<p>That is, we have yet further evidence that the data is being cooked to make the long-running claim of an increase in global temperatures, and now to diminish the apparent cooling of said temps. As the gang at EU referendum tout, &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">it is in Soviet Union that the CRU, NOAA, NASA show the greatest warming</span>.&#8221;</p>
<p>Around the world temperature stations have been widely decommissioned in rural and higher elevations, and we see an over-emphasis on increasingly urbanized (<span style="font-style:italic;">and therefore warmer</span>) stations in the curious selection process as to what temperatures should count, and how much. The latter point references the fact that the data is then adjusted, and we are also seeing an increase in adjusting urbanized (<span style="font-style:italic;">that is, artificially warm</span>) temperature records not down, but upward.</p>
<p>Excerpted in pertinent part, Joe Writes:</p>
<p>On Tuesday, the Moscow-based Institute of Economic Analysis (IEA) issued a report claiming that the Hadley Center for Climate Change based at the headquarters of the British Meteorological Office in Exeter (Devon, England) had probably tampered with Russian-climate data.</p>
<p>The IEA believes that Russian meteorological-station data did not substantiate the anthropogenic global-warming theory. …The data of stations located in areas not listed in the Hadley Climate Research Unit Temperature UK (HadCRUT) survey often does not show any substantial warming in the late 20th century and the early 21st century.</p>
<p>The HadCRUT database includes specific stations providing incomplete data and highlighting the global-warming process, rather than stations facilitating uninterrupted observations. …</p>
<p>IEA analysts say climatologists use the data of stations located in large populated centers that are influenced by the urban-warming effect more frequently than the correct data of remote stations.</p>
<p>The reason this cherry-picking is relevant — as is the apparent similar gamesmanship being played with other countries examined in recent days including <a href="http://icecap.us/index.php/go/joes-blog/are_we_feeling_warmer_yet/">China and New Zealand</a> — because our NOAA compiles the global dataset and the rest work from it. So when CRU claimed that it &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">lost</span>&#8221; its raw data, what they’re saying is the claim to have lost which stations they chose from NOAA’s compilation, making it impossible for those who wish to check it to discern how they got the answer they did.</p>
<p>If it is what it appears to be, and my dozen years working with these people and the past few weeks peeking further inside thanks to <span style="font-style:italic;">ClimateGate</span> tell me that it is, then this is root-cause corruption.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, they are scrambling madly to stitch up an agreement in Copenhagen politically committing the U.S. to the long-desired wealth-transfer. The question is which moves faster, the collapse of the increasingly likely scientific fraud, or the global governance set.

<p>Look, there are a lot of links there, and in incredible amount of information that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that pretty much all of the information used by the global warming hoaxers is not only faulty, but an absolute lie. You simply must take time to investigate them.</p>
<p>These dishonest scientists have cooked the books, withheld and manipulated data to suit their needs, all in an effort to pull off the greatest scam in history. The greatest lie ever told.</p>
<p>This is the Loch Ness Monster, Big Foot, and UFOs on a global scale! Why? Money, of course. All of these scientists make money off of government and private foundation grants. No crisis, no funding. No funding and you have a lot of &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">climate scientists</span>&#8221; working at McDonald’s asking you if you want fries with that, which is probably where they belong.</p>
<p>And of course, there is power. Look at all of the power that would be wielded if this wasn’t a hoax, and we allowed measures to fight this mythical beast to be put in place. It would be enormous.</p>
<p>The bottom line is this: The climate exists, that’s indisputable. The climate changes, well&#8230;duh! Live in Texas and you may see all 4 seasons in one day! That’s real climate change.</p>
<p>But seriously, the climate indeed changes, that’s why the marketing managers over at Big Global Warming, and Big Government, changed the name to &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">climate change</span>&#8221; once it got out that the earth had actually been in a cooling mode since the mid 1990&#8217;s. Thus Big Climate was born.</p>
<p>There is no credible data though, that man can cause the climate to change. Now, can man screw up his local environment? You bet’cha! For example, the environmental whack jobs have turned America’s breadbasket, the San Joaquin Valley of California into a desert because of a minnow. Millions of acres of land that used to feed the world, literally, is now a dust bowl, all because man has screwed with nature.</p>
<p>The answer to this sort of thing is to allow the states, not the federal government, to regulate the activities of the insane. This also goes for those who pollute, and well, even litter. We all want a clean world, a healthy world. But we also want a world that places a premium on liberty and freedom. A world were we, the individual, are what matters, not Big Government, Big Climate, Or Big Al Gore.</p>
<p>As the wheels start to come off of the global warming hoax wagon, men like Al Gore, who has bored us to death with his inane braying, need to be rounded up and jailed. The same goes for politicians and officials who have pushed these lies on the world.</p>
<p>There is simply no way to measure the amount of blood and treasure that has been lost in pursuit of this hoax. Industries destroyed, jobs lost, and lives destroyed. We could be talking about trillions of dollars, but how can one even measure the destruction these liars have caused?</p>
<p>Well, for now, we have a few brave souls, like Sarah Palin, who has the power of her position as the true American leader, to take these people and their lies on. Thank God for that.</p>

<p>The Daily Kos group blog is so entertaining. Today came this headline, which surprisingly contained no profanity: “CBO: Kerry-Boxer climate bill creates $21B SURPLUS!”</p>
<p>There is however a taunt that Republicans should support this version of cap-and-trade or forever be tarred as hypocrites. Big deal. That’s all liberals ever say about Republicans.</p>
<p>So what exactly did the Congressional Budget Office say? The CBO said the bill will increase taxes by $854 billion.</p>
<p>That is exactly why Republicans object. They oppose adding more taxes to an economy that is taxed to the max.</p>
<p>Kos contends that by spending “only” $833 billion of that largess, we are somehow saving money. Only in La-la-la-liberaland is spending $833 billion more considered “saving ” money.</p>
<p>Like I said, the site should be labeled FEPO (for entertainment purposes only) — OK and NSFW.</p>

<p>A friend sent me the photo above a week ago last Saturday under the heading &#8220;Sarah enjoying some global warming!&#8221; The photo was taken that morning in Fairfax, Virginia as she arrived at one of her huge book signing events. Later that evening she would go on to be a real sensation at the <a href="http://thespeechatimeforchoosing.wordpress.com/2009/12/06/sarah-palin-going-funny/">Gridiron Club’s dinner</a>, as one of the keynote speakers, along with Congressman Barney Frank. An event that surprised her critics and wowed her supporters.</p>
<p>Now being the hack that I am, and the global warming hoax being something we have been trying to expose since day one, and of course, knowing Sarah’s own stance on the issue, and well, I knew this photo could see a lot of use!</p>
<p>And why not? This is a great photo!</p>
<p>Well, that kinda became the point, to me.</p>
<p>You see, the more I looked at this photo, the more I realized the photographer had really done something. The photographer had managed to capture the essence of Sarah Palin, the thing that has so many millions admiring her.</p>
<p>Let’s face it, the camera loves Sarah Palin. You rarely find a bad photo of her, but this one hit me as special. The more I looked at the photo, the more the photo kept my attention.</p>
<p>I’ll be straight up here. I look at a lot of photos, every day, of all kinds of things. Most of them I either like, or I don’t. It takes me seconds to figure out if they are keepers, or not. Some hit me as strong and powerful, some just pleasant, funny, or somehow &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">right</span>&#8221; for particular piece I am writing. But this photo stopped me dead in my tracks.</p>
<p>Now let me get the obvious out of the way first: Sarah Palin is a strikingly beautiful woman. In fact, all of the photos from her Fairfax visit have made the guys happy! As you look at this photo, you see that Sarah is really quite a strong figure. Here she is in all black, save the hat, all 5ft 6 inches of her slender frame, looking every bit the fashion model, high heels and all. It’s no wonder that soon after she became Governor of Alaska, <span style="font-style:italic;">Vogue</span> magazine sent a team up there to do a cover shoot with her.</p>
<p>I’m reminded of the popular Alaskan t-shirts and bumper stickers that proudly proclaim &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">The coldest state, with the hottest Governor!</span>&#8220;</p>
<p>All of that was, of course, before Sarah became a national figure. It was OK, even with the dishonest and corrupt national media, to absolutely love Sarah Palin, and salute her as a transformative leader, as long as she stayed in Alaska! But take the girl from the frozen tundra, and all of a sudden this once praised feminist leader, this highly successful wife, mother, reformer, and Governor, becomes &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">evil</span>!&#8221;</p>
<p>Once you realize just how much things have changed in Sarah’s life since the day that Senator John McCain called her and asked if she’d like to help him &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">change the world</span>&#8221; this photo takes on even more meaning. Now like all of us, Sarah’s life wasn’t perfect. She’d had her ups and downs, triumphs and tragedies. But by any measure you want to use, Sarah Palin was, and is, a highly successful woman.</p>
<p>Oh sure, the Alaska Republican Party hates her, with a passion, but that’s because she took many party members down, over corruption. So corrupt that I am reminded of one of the great quotes from Mel Brooks’ original film, <span style="font-style:italic;">The Producers</span> when, at the trial, the jury reads it’s verdict: &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">We, the people, find the defendants incredibly guilty!</span>&#8221; They were that kind of guilty!</p>
<p>So&#8230;..some tension was to be expected!</p>
<p>But overall, the Alaskan people were more than just pleased with their choice as Governor. Sarah Palin’s approval rating was in the high 80&#8217;s before Obama, Pete Rouse, and the Alaska Mafia started their shenanigans. Again, incredibly successful, by any measure.</p>
<p>Once Sarah was picked as McCain’s running mate though, all that is ugly, vile, and hateful about the left, and they really do have the market cornered on that stuff, came to bear on Sarah. I’ve thought long and hard, and I really cannot think of anyone who has been attacked as viciously as Sarah Palin.</p>
<p>The left attacked Sarah, her husband, her children, especially her youngest son, Trig. In this, the left truly outdid itself. The word evil just doesn’t do some of these people and their attacks justice. And these attacks are ongoing, even to this day.</p>
<p>And yet, after the most concentrated, vile, hate filled attacks on a person we’ve ever witnessed, here is Sarah Palin, this strong and strikingly beautiful woman, out in the snow, in Fairfax, Virginia, loving life to it’s fullest!</p>
<p>You see that all of the lies, hate, filth, and unprecedented attacks on Sarah and her family, have had absolutely no effect on this wonderful woman’s spirit. If anything, they have only strengthened her resolve. Made her a little more powerful. Made her a little more &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">dangerous</span>&#8221; to all of those who hate freedom and liberty. You know, the democrats!</p>
<p>The left, and yes, even some on the right, were stunned when Sarah stepped down as Governor, handing the ball off to her very capable Lt. Governor, Sean Parnell. Some simply didn’t understand what was going on up there in Alaska, even though Sarah’s July 3rd <span style="font-style:italic;">Independence Speech </span>was quite clear about the situation.</p>
<p>When you have a group of people, headed by the President of the United States, out to destroy you, your family, and your state, in any and every way possible, you have two choices: You either allow them to destroy you and everything you love, or you take drastic and dramatic action. And dramatic action is what Sarah took.</p>
<p>For those that don’t know, Pete Rouse, then Barack Obama’s campaign chief-of-staff, and now a White House adviser, not only played an active role in the so-called &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">Troopergate</span>&#8221; witch hunt, or as Sarah calls it &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">Tazergate</span>,&#8221; he had an active role in the rest of the attacks, as well.</p>
<p>When Obama’s thugs failed to destroy Sarah with &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">Tazergate</span>,&#8221; named for the fact that her ex-brother-in-law Trooper Michael Wooten, among other things, tazered his step son, Sarah’s nephew, seemingly for the hell of it, Rouse then worked with the various far left extremists in Alaska, including the bloggers, and other undesirables, to recruit people to continually file bogus ethics complaints, exploiting ethics laws that allow absolutely anyone to complain about anything.</p>
<p>As we know, all of these complaints have been dismissed as unfounded, but in the process, this ran up Sarah’s own personal legal bill to over a half million dollars. The state does not defend it’s executive from bogus attacks. Alaska is unique in this fashion.</p>
<p>Also, unique to the executive is this: While it is against the law to discuss or publicize any of these complaints, until they are resolved, the hate bloggers, Jeanne Devon and Shannyn Moore, who contribute the radical left wing rag, the <span style="font-style:italic;">Huffington Post</span>, along with Linda Kellen Biegel, the democrat/communist party’s &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">official blogger for Alaska</span>&#8221; and various other smear merchants would publish the details of the complaints all over the internet, many times before the complaints were even officially filed.</p>
<p>Of course, the dishonest and corrupt Obamacentric national media would run with these complaints like they had struck gold. All of this illegal under Alaska law, but, and this is what makes the entire ethics process a joke, there is absolutely no punishment for those who break this law. Even better, while one can file complaints willy-nilly against legislators too, if you break any of the laws, like confidentiality laws, the complaint is automatically dismissed and no further consideration given to the complainant. They are protected, but the Governor, and their staff, are not!</p>
<p>But, with all of the personal havoc Obama and his Chicago thug tactics were causing Sarah, that paled to what it was causing the Alaska tax payer. These complaints had basically shut Sarah’s administration down. Her staff spent much of their time dealing with Freedom of Information Act requests, including the well publicized fishing expedition by blogger Linda Kellen Biegel, who talked her readers out of a considerable amount of money so she could pursue all of Sarah’s e-mails, just looking to harass her. So far, that has not been money well spent, but that’s another story.</p>
<p>The bottom line on all of this is, in less than six months, Obama’s Alaska Mafia had cost the Alaska tax payers a whopping $2 million! Basically, these thugs, using typical Chicago,<a href="http://www.crossroad.to/Quotes/communism/alinsky.htm"> Saul Alinsky</a> tactics, had, up to that point, stolen $2 million from the Alaskan people, and as we looked at it, at the time, reading the leftist blogs, and knowing these online terrorists we going to keep on filing complaints to the bitter end, we figured that these terrorists, and make no mistake, that’s what they are, were on track to cost Alaska’s hard working tax payers as much as $10 million dollars, had she stayed for the last year of her term.</p>
<p>So, to all but the silliest among us, Sarah did the right thing, the honorable thing, and stepped down. Now of course, her critics went into attack mode, how she &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">quit when the going got tough</span>&#8221; and all of that jazz. Since then, every action Sarah has taken, has proven that little theory dead wrong.</p>
<p>In fact, Sarah jumped out of the pan, and into the fire. She has been more outspoken than ever, and more effective, too! As far as I am concerned, the moves by Obama to drive Sarah out of office will go down in history as one of the greatest political and tactical blunders of all time.</p>
<p>As Governor, Sarah was highly restricted. It was hard to leave the state, not only because of the great distances to the lower 48, but also because of the loons who always had a complaint filed when she did. It was impossible for her to write a book, for money, or give paid speeches due to Alaska’s strict rules. Another thing, Obama and his people had turned the once relatively cordial Alaskan political scene into a virtual state of war. So, as Governor, Sarah was careful in her criticism of the <span style="font-style:italic;">Dear Leader</span>.</p>
<p>When you hear Sarah say that &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">politics changed</span>&#8221; once she was chosen by McCain, this is what she is talking about.</p>
<p>We all know, as a private citizen, Sarah has been anything but quiet! She has been a constant thorn in Obama’s side. She has taken on the unconstitutional power grab, disguised as &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">health care reform</span>&#8221; and she has hit Obama on energy policy, and monetary policy. She’s been quoted world wide on all. Recently, her sights have been set on crook, liar, and global warming hoaxer extraordinaire, Al Gore, the Bernie Madoff of the climate change crowd, as the entire global warming hoax collapses at his feet.</p>
<p>Sarah has certainly not run from the fight!</p>

<p>This brings me back to this simple, but magnificent moment in Virginia, caught on film. When I look at this photo, I see a supremely confident and virile woman. A woman who truly has the bull by the horns. A woman filled with unbelievable vitality. A woman who is in charge. A woman who wields great power.</p>
<p>You know what else I see? I see joy.</p>
<p>Sarah Palin is a happy, joyful woman, and that my friends, is the key to the whole thing. Here is a lady who has had the very worst the hatemongers of the world have to offer up thrown at her. I mean for one year solid the most vile of attacks have come her way. Most people would have stepped back, and maybe went underground for awhile, and certainly, no one could have blamed Sarah had she, herself, taken that route. But obviously, this is a woman who simply isn’t built that way.</p>
<p>Instead, Sarah is the team captain who would lead her high school basketball team to a state championship, playing on a broken ankle, and scoring the final game winning points. This is the young wife who, while working in the rough world of commercial fishing, had an accident that would crush her hand, sending her to the hospital, only to see her return right back to work that day.</p>
<p>This is the PTA mom who thought she could make a difference in her hometown and would eventually turn into a crusader against corruption as both a city councilwoman and two term mayor. This is a woman, who after being appointed the to powerful job as the state’s chief energy and environmental regulator, saw massive corruption not only in the industry she regulated, but within her own political party as well.</p>
<p>Unlike many of those around her, Sarah not only didn’t look away, she actively pursued justice. When it became apparent the sitting Governor, her boss, himself a Republican, would continue to block her efforts to bring those corrupt officials to justice, Sarah did what had to be done. She made the tough choice to resign and as a private citizen, take these people on. This of course, is why she is public enemy number one among the Republican Party &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">elites</span>&#8221; both in Alaska and nationally. She upset a lot of apple carts in her quest to end the corruption. Kept the FBI, the courts, and the prison system in business too!</p>
<p>This would lead Sarah to the Governorship, and her accomplishments as Governor most certainly speak for themselves, as do the consistently high approval ratings. The highest for any Governor in the nation.</p>
<p>In fact, at the height of the attacks by Obama, Inc, just before her resignation, when her approval ratings eventually slipped out of the stratosphere, and came back to more earthly numbers, the left celebrated to no end that she was <span style="font-style:italic;">finally</span> no longer the most popular Governor in America. And all it took was a constant and coordinated effort from the White House and the entire corrupt media, daily, for almost a solid year! When she left office her approval was still about 25 points higher than Obama’s is now! (And he has the most glowing press imaginable)</p>
<p>With all of this going on around her, just how was Sarah able to maintain her strength and remain so joyful about life?</p>
<p>Sarah speaks about her faith in God often. Unlike other politicians who seem to be afraid of becoming labeled as a religious extremist for daring to mention their faith, Sarah readily speaks of the strength and guidance she receives from God’s word, and how this strength and guidance serves her as she goes through life. How this helps her as a leader. As with most Americans, faith is the strong foundation that Sarah builds her life upon.</p>

<p>Since leaving office, Sarah has written a best selling book, one that has broken records. The day the book was announced, and online retailers like <span style="font-style:italic;">Barnes&#38;Noble</span> and <span style="font-style:italic;">Amazon</span> offered it up for pre-orders, it became the number one best seller at both retailers, and soon other retailers would see it hit the top of their charts, as well.</p>
<p>The publisher, <span style="font-style:italic;">HarperCollins</span>, has went from an initial printing of 1.5 million, to the announcement that, so far, they have a total of 3 million books ordered for print. They are saying<br />
this is the best selling book of the year. By the way, if you don’t have this book, you really are missing out on something special.</p>
<p>Sarah’s book tour has been nothing short of phenomenal. For the very first stop, in Michigan, people lined up 36 hours ahead of time, just for a spot in line to meet her. They slept outside in cold weather, braved the elements, just for the chance to get a few seconds of time with the Arctic Fox, as well as her autograph, and maybe a handshake. It’s been like this at every stop along the way. Thousands have lined up in support. Most wishing her success if she runs for President of the United States, and many convinced they had just met the next President of the United States!</p>
<p>As Bill O’Reilly put it Monday night on his television show, Sarah has been so successful since steeping down, that she is now running victory laps around her critics!</p>
<p>Part of what brought this out of him was her surprise appearance on the <span style="font-style:italic;">Tonight Show</span>. William Shatner, who has been doing the beatnik gig for decades, doing this sort of thing with popular songs and the like, has poked fun at Sarah by reading her tweets or other pieces of work. This time he set out to give a &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">reading</span>&#8221; from her book. As usual, Shatner was funny. The set up, of course, was Sarah then coming on and turning the tables on Shatner by reading from his book.</p>
<p>The crowd in the audience was unaware, as they had been sequestered during auditions, to make it a true surprise to them, and the audience at home. The roar heard when Sarah took the stage was simply incredible. Of course, her performance was great. Even the far left was going &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">oh-oh</span>&#8221; as they realized they totally misunderestimated her talent. They begrudgingly proclaimed her performance good.</p>

<p>Time and time again Sarah Palin has proven she is a true leader. While other see the problems facing us, they are timid in their actions. It’s tough politically, to be a true leader. You actually have to stand for something. You have to go on record, and in this day and time, that record will follow you. God help you if you change your stance on something, even if it is because you have learned more about something that has caused you to rethink your position!</p>
<p>There is a difference between changing your mind based on new and important information about a subject and flip-flopping with the change of the political winds. But you’ll still catch hell!</p>
<p>When Sarah so eloquently spoke of &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">death panels</span>&#8221; earlier this year she was slammed from every direction. The far left, the squishy Republicans, the media, and the President all pronounced her crazy, and more. Funny thing though, the people understood. One of Sarah’s great strengths is that she can take rather complicated issues and distill them down to a single, simple to understand concepts.</p>
<p>Health care rationing is a grim reality in government run health care. Nameless, faceless bureaucrats, using formulas created by panels of accountants, not doctors, decide who is worthy of the best treatments, and who isn’t. This discussion can get lengthy as one goes through the process governments use to come up with all of this. To say the least, it’s a complicated issue.</p>
<p>&#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">Death panels</span>&#8221; really says it all though. It cuts to the chase.</p>
<p>While Sarah was catching hell for all of this, the usual suspects, the so-called Republican leaders, and &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">2012 front-runners</span>&#8221; were hiding under their desks.</p>
<p>This is a pattern that is followed over and over as Sarah speaks out on the most important issues of our time.</p>

<p>We saw no better example of Mark Twain’s words than the special election held in New York’s 23rd Congressional District earlier this year. No need to rehash the whole affair here, but that was a true stand against the system. You had a backroom deal, not a primary, that put a supposedly &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">moderate</span>&#8221; Republican, who was actually a far left &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">progressive</span>,&#8221; in the running. DeDe Scozzafava was more radical than 43 percent of the democrat/communist party in the New York State Assembly, from where she was plucked!</p>
<p>Enter Doug Hoffman. He was the long shot independent with no hope. The Republican Party considered him a nuisance that would spoil their ideal &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">moderate</span>&#8221; candidate’s chance. He was a spoiler.</p>
<p>A hand full of Conservatives came to support Hoffman. Then came the endorsement from Sarah Palin. Money came pouring in, and immediately Hoffman’s poll numbers increased. In fact, in some polling, Hoffman went from a distant third, to leading. This of course brought national attention to a small, little know race.</p>
<p>Sarah, because she is Sarah, was then vilified by the media and the &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">good old boy</span>&#8221; Republican establishment. She was called every name in the book. The Republican &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">elites</span>&#8221; were losing their minds. Sarah was<span style="font-style:italic;"> singlehandedly </span>destroying the Republican Party!</p>
<p>Then a funny thing happened. All of the momentum shifted to Hoffman. It seemed he had a real shot. Even better, DeDe Scozafava, the &#8220;<span style="font-style:italic;">moderate</span>&#8221; Republican dropped out. At this point support for Hoffman came out of the woodwork. One by one, the so-called leaders all came out from under their desks and jumped on the Hoffman bandwagon. Gutless wonders all.</p>
<p>Whether it’s corruption, health care, energy, monetary policy, Afghanistan, the global warming hoax, or any other pressing matter, Sarah always has the courage to take on the establishment, to speak out. To take a stand while others remain timid.</p>
<p>Hemingway called courage: grace under pressure. Sarah Palin is one of the most courageous politicians in the modern era of American politics.</p>
<p>That’s a lot to get out of one photo, I know, but this is the very essence of Sarah Palin</p>
