Every time I hear or see the word celebration, I always turn to my best friend Vodka and say ” Were going to have a good time!”  I think, Cinco de Mayo is one of the most Debauchery celebrated observance holiday, in the U.S. Number 1 choice of poison? Tequila and of course beer. Lets see whats going on for this debauchery weekend of fun!

 

  • 34th Annual Pecan Street Festival - Saturday, May 5, from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Sunday, May 6, from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. A FREE, family event, the Pecan Street Festival is an Austin Tradition. It’s the oldest and largest art festival in Central Texas.  Local musicians provide entertainment on three stages, beginning at noon and continuing into the late evening hours, and proceeds benefit local non-profit organizations. Kids can enjoy creating art in the Michaels Art tent as well as face painting, carnival rides and a petting zoo (some attractions cost extra). Downtown Austin, 6th Street.

  •  Round Rock Express Family Day - Head out to Highland Mall on Saturday, May 5, 2012 for the Round Rock Express “Meet the Team” event in the promotions court, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fans can get autographs from a couple of Express players and visit with Spike and the Street Team.

  • Tacorama - Saturday, May 5, from noon – 3 p.m. Kick off the 2012 Austin Taco Festival, Tacorama, with a Cinco de Mayo celebration. Taco lovers will enjoy FREE food, refreshments, music, and activities for children including a taco piñata. There will be live performances! The Tacorama kick off event is FREE and open to the public!
