I appreciate it when Josh Vajda challenges long standing auto industry beliefs that drive our sales process… He is right on target about the age old question about “Qualifying Customers”. Now, don’t get me wrong, there is always a risk of “Over-Qualifying” prospective new and used vehicle buyers, but as Josh describes, a “just right” amount of prospect qualifying is not only in the customer’s best interest, it is what they expect and will respond to in a more positive manner than if you do no qualifying investigation.

When function and form are treated as one, engineering is elevated to an art form. The all-new Mazda6 is the product of engineer and designer working in unison, from start to finish, daring to re-imagine the automobile as a whole. It is the true definition of the modern sports sedan, because contrary to what convention may think, beauty is more than skin deep. And performance is more than an emblem. They´re everything underneath.

Research revealed that there are around 820 car accidents daily and that people between 18 and 24 years cause 4 times as many car crashes than older drivers.

Being involved in a car crash is a nasty experience for both drivers, it’s not just a shock but also a lot of paperwork to take care off for the insurance company. Some people choose not to get their car fixed after an accident but would rather sell it for car parts to a junk car buyer. How much money can you ask for your junk car, what is it really worth?

Your car’s worth

It’s very difficult to find out how much your car is exactly worth, especially if it’s damaged due to an accident. One of the things that play a role in your car’s exact worth is it’s age, a car loses 10% of its worth each year, but there are also a number of other things that play an important role. Most damaged junk cars will be disassembled for car parts, other will be exported to Africa, depending of what your car will serve for you can expect to receive more or less money. If you have an old car than it usually is better to sell it on a “sell junk car” website such as sellingthecar.com and use the money you’ll receive to buy another used car online for a nice price as repairs might cost you more than getting another one.

Interesting facts about car crashes

Despite the numerous training sessions cops have to complete to improve their driving skills, research shows that 67% of police cars get involved in a car crash of some kind, which costs loads of tax money. The government wants to build parking sensors and extra gadgets in police cars in the hope of reducing the number of police car crashes, but these gadgets aren’t exactly cheap either. In the Netherlands a minister ordered the start of an investigation to find out why there are this many crashes and how to solve this expensive problem.

Reducing car crashes by obligating extra driving lessons

Statistics from insurance companies show that people who have taken a special car training consisting of slipping, driving a truck, stopping abruptly and hearing about the dangers of driving have 25% less accidents in the future. This training helps people walk in each other’s shoes when it comes to driving, this helps them see things from another point of view which makes them in a more aware state than before. Just imagine having bought a brand new BMW with a loan, you’re driving out of the showroom and suddenly someone crashes right into your new car because he lost control of it. That’s the last thing you want to happen, all that paperwork for the insurance company, arguing with the driver which can lead to a fight and all the frustrations that this kind of situation brings along. If you have bad luck the car might be seen as completely messed up, which means you’ll have to buy another one with your insurance money for a nice price on a “cash for car” website. The best thing is obviously not to get involved in an accident at all, make sure to keep enough distance from the car in front of you and to be aware at all times.

Just 12+ more VIN views could mean 44% LESS time on your lot

The verdict is in: if they view the highlights, you’ll view the taillights. In other words, the more car shoppers engage with your Vehicle Details Pages (VDPs), the quicker your cars will move off your lot— and that’s a fact.

Based on an eight month study of 9 million VDP’s, 125 million website visits, and 250 million online actions, our automotive consumer research conclusively shows that:

VDP views and time spent on VDP’s are 2 of the top 4 online sales predictors

VDP’s with 20-30 pageviews spend 29% less time on the lot

VDP’s with more than 30 pageviews spend 44% less time on the lot

So how do you best position your automotive digital marketing strategy to be a VIN factory?
When you’re thinking of selling your car, then you’re looking for a trustworthy car buye

When you’re thinking of selling your car, then you’re looking for a trustworthy car buyer who is willing to make a serious offer on your used car. Whether it’s a private car buyer or an official used car dealer, what matters is that they pay up and don’t cause any trouble or extra work. How do you find the right car buyer?

You know how it goes, trying to sell your car by uploading “sell used car” adds all over the web on all the “cash for car” websites you can possibly find. But when you do that, you’ll receive all sorts of ridiculously low offers from people, which can be very frustrating. You obviously want to get the highest price possible for your car, while the car buyer want to pay as less as possible.

Filtering the offers

When you have a “sell car” add on a car selling website such as EBay or Craig’s list, you will receive all sorts of offers. People always make very low offers, which basically is a big waste of your precious time and extremely annoying. It will fill up your inbox with offers that can’t be taken seriously. You can resolve this by mentioning that the price is a set price, and that you don’t take any offers that are lower than the price you’re asking for. This will both send you a lot of time and frustrations.

Advertise in your neighborhood

Research has shown that people tend to sell their cars within 10km from their home, this means that there’s no use to advertise all over the U.S.A. online, advertising in your neighborhood is enough and will enhance your chances of making a deal on short term. So don’t waste any time making adds online that are for New York if you live in L.A. Secondly you really need to make sure that you add has clear, good quality pictures of your car and that your contact information is clearly visible, otherwise people will move on to the next add which would be a shame.

Finding the right car buyer

Some car brands like for instance Subaru or Skoda don’t get sold much nowadays on the “used car for cash” market because very little people want these type of cars. If you happen to own one which you would like to sell, than you need to look up a car dealer near you who specializes in that brand of cars, as they will give you a much better offer than if you try selling it online. You might have to drive a little further to bring the car to the dealer, but it will be worth your while otherwise you either won’t be able to sell it, or you will but for a very low price.

Whether this association can translate into click through and traffic generation remains to be seen.

According to Twitter, the data supports their strategy for automotive advertisers that while Promoted Tweets are priced on a cost-per-engagement basis (similar to Pay Per Click), advertisers can also benefit even when users don’t engage.

In other positive results touted by Twitter, multiple exposure to a Promoted Tweet campaign generated an average 10% lift in make, model or dealership brand favorability versus those exposed to the campaign a single time. Finally, those who engage with a dealership or car company’s Promoted Tweet report a 30% higher brand favorability and 53% higher purchase intent than non-engagers. Although it seems to me that this could be attributable to a predisposition of those who engaged with such promoted tweets having an affinity for the make, model or dealership in the first place…

One of the most exciting developments is that the completion of the study has triggered Twitter moving the capability out of beta status and opening it up to automotive marketers and advertisers in the US, UK, and Japan.

Promoted Tweet exposure drives stronger message association.

Across all the Twitter beta studies analyzed, exposure to a Promoted Tweet impression drove a 22% average increase in message association compared to users not exposed to Promoted Tweets. This finding demonstrates that, although Promoted Tweets are priced on a cost-per-engagement basis, advertisers don’t only benefit when users engage. Even a Promoted Tweet impression can be valuable for brands.

Unlike other major publisher platforms, Twitter does not require a click through to an external site or interrupt the user with a pop-up. Another unique feature of the Twitter brand surveys: advertisers are able to measure and compare survey responses from users who have been exposed across devices – desktop, tablet and smartphone.

Everybody hates it and gets confronted with it: traffic jams! It’s a huge pain to have to wait

Everybody hates it and gets confronted with it: traffic jams! It’s a huge pain to have to wait for hours in line without moving an inch. Especially when you’ve been working all day, the last thing you want is to get stuck in traffic for hours, all you’re thinking of is getting home and have dinner in front of the tv.

This problem keeps getting worse because more and more people buy cars, or own several cars in one family which makes the situation worse day by day, they can only build so many roads. buying and selling cars has become too easy thanks to all the “sell used car” websites where you can easily put up a “junk car for cash” add within a matter of minutes. This makes it too easy for people which also increases the amount of cars being sold.

Fights in traffic lines

Imagine having worked all day and then getting confronted by some random aggressive people during traffic hours, flipping you off or saying filthy things out of irritation. These kind of scenario’s happen way more often than people think and end up turning into very nasty fights where people get seriously hurt. What can we do about it? How do we bring an end to this kind of useless violence? Traffic doesn’t only cause fights but also a lot of pollution, noise and get in the way of police and firemen work. this makes it a very important issue which affects every single one of us, whether you own a car or not.

Resolving the traffic issue

There are some things we can do to resolve this traffic issue, for instance car pooling more with friends, family or colleagues instead of taking you own car every time. It would also help a lot if more people would take the bus, take the train or simply walk more. If we only did those 2 things it would reduce traffic greatly. The only problem with that is that people don’t want to give up a part of their privacy by travelling with strangers, that would mean that you would have to be on time, take other people’s schedule into consideration and so on. People want to be able to get in their car, turn it on and go whenever they want without having to think twice. Besides we don’t see cars as just a vehicle but also as something trendy, almost like a fashion accessory or as way of showing your wealth. People go to “car for cash” sites looking for a modern looking car, and not necessary for a useful one, it has to look nice too.

Selling your old car

do you have more than one car and you’re thinking of getting rid of one to help reduce traffic on the roads? In that case you might need some help to get your used car sold as soon as possible, you can get help from the “sell car” website sellingthecar.com. Registration is free, easy and very effective because you can expect receiving your first offer within 48 hours from a trustworthy used car dealer.

Anyone who is not SEO savvy or a coder may encounter difficulty when wanting to add your Google Author Rank to your blog.

There are tons, and I mean TONS of articles out there that try to tell you how to add it in a difficult way and after sorting through it myself, I thought a simplified version of how-to add your Google Author Rank to your blog was necessary.

Firstly, you must know that you need to have a Google+ account prior to claiming a Google Author Rank as it will verify your blog and help it get seen more and allow you to be recognized as an author by also putting a face to the name by adding your associated picture.

As your blog should be setup as a Google+ Business page and your blog’s URL is inputted, you will see a button that reads “link website”. This is when it gets a little complicated; a code will then appear and tell you to add it to the Head of your blog, which is great, if you knew where that was.

Let’s be honest, most of us bloggers, blog to blog. We are writers, artists and right-brained. Asking us to touch our Editor section within our theme is like asking us to do math without a calculator. Since each theme on WordPress varies it makes it even more difficult to locate. On this blog for example, I use the Intrepidity Theme which is not as straight-forward as to where everything is as perhaps Genesis does but is a great theme nonetheless.

After much hoping and wishing and copying and pasting without messing up the code. I finally found that it verified my website once I posted it within the home.php section of the WordPress editor for my theme prior to the end code.

You are now able to use that code in any author box or bio no matter the site you are writing on. You can see exactly what I mean by looking at my author bio below.

[NOTE: It will take a few days before you will begin seeing your image next to your writings]

You will need to preferably use an author box for the coding, since this works easiest. Secondly be sure to verify your Author Rank via e-mail and check through the Google Webmaster Tool.
If you are selling cars in a dealership, I’m guessing you’ve received many responses from customers with the signature “sent from my iPhone/4G-LTE smartphone/mobile device.” When you see this type of response, do you attempt to communicate as you normally would?

Almost all of the e-mail templates and responses I have seen were created for customers who are sitting at their computers. Many salespeople have been trained to reply to an Internet lead with a fairly long, personalized response that includes links to several pieces of inventory, reasons for buying from this dealership and one or two questions designed to engage. This type of e-mail is great if your customer is sitting at the computer. But if you send that same response to a mobile customer, they’re probably not going to engage.

So what’s the best way to communicate with a mobile customer? Here are a few tips:

1) Get to the point. Mobile customers don’t think or respond the same way, and don’t have the same level of patience as when they’re sitting at home on their computers. A mobile customer is probably going to be distracted; multi-tasking, bouncing from checking e-mail to Facebook, to Twitter, to attending to their daily life. For this reason, keep your e-mails to no more than a couple sentences and you’ll be more likely to engage that customer in a conversation.

2) Choose attachments and links carefully. If you’re used to sending a brochure about your dealership, an embedded video, or showcasing a particular vehicle with hundreds of photos, think twice before sending memory-heavy attachments to the mobile customer. Mobile users aren’t likely to open an attachment that’s difficult to view on a small screen or takes a long time to download. Instead, send a link to a video or send one good photo of the car that they inquired about.

3) Be Patient. On mobile devices, many people respond one line at a time, as if in a chat. Going back and forth one line at a time may become frustrating to you. But remember, this is not about you, it’s about the customer and their needs. You may reach a point where you think that one phone call could replace all this, and ask the customer to just call you, or you may try calling them. Or you may be tempted to write, “if you set an appointment to come in and take a test drive, all your questions will be answered.” Yet, just as we’ve been taught to earn the right to ask for the sale in the traditional sales process, you must earn the right to ask your mobile customers. When you’re communicating via mobile, it may take a lot longer, moving one small step at a time. Trying to skip ahead in the process could disconnect them from the conversation.

This conclusion comes from the data contained within a new e-book that showcases and analyzes results from a survey by J.D. Power and Associates and NetBase. The Social Listening and Big Brother eBook by NetBase and J.D. Power and Associates is available for download by ADM Professional Community members using the link provided at the end of this article.

Similar to Millennials, even the older age groups mirror that “we speak, you respond” sentiment… This further showcases an ever increasing need for car companies and dealerships to monitor the social web for mentions of their name, or references to their makes and models of vehicles. As the age demographic segments of the survey results get older, you cannot help but notice that just half of the 55+ group agree with these same sentiments.

It is important and intriguing to note that while the survey results suggest that consumers want companies such as car dealerships and OEM manufacturers to respond to discussions about them online (generally referring to social media), separate results from the survey paint a more confusing picture…

An example of this confusion and possibly a double standard when it comes to online monitoring is that roughly 6 in 10 respondents aged 18-54 want companies to listen to what they say about them online (4 in 10 of the 55+ crowd). While at the same time, about half of the survey’s respondents think that consumers should be able to talk about companies online without those companies listening in. This desire for privacy increases for the 55+ age group, of which 59% do not want companies seeing what they post about them online.

But wait… There’s more (confusion) in these survey results!

Between half and two-thirds of respondents want companies to respond when they’re being discussed online, while the same survey reports that more than 6 in 10 also say that companies should only respond to online comments made directly to them (i.e. on their Facebook page, tweeted to them, etc.) You should download the PDF file of the report and take a look… In my opinion, what we are seeing is the variance based on where and what types of social media these comments are being made that reference a car company, make or dealership by name.

In an attempt at trying to poke fun at their own report’s findings, the authors note that the takeaway for automotive marketers and others who handle social media strategy is that they should be “telepathic.” Perhaps “empathetic” would be a better choice of words and not so much in jest… The next-best advice given is for marketers to:

Automotive Social Marketers should go beyond listening

Try to understand what consumers are saying

Consider the conversation’s context

Deliver mutual value when engaging

Show how listening can be a relationship-building tool rather than an intrusion

Other Findings:

Despite holding all these varied opinions about social media privacy, less than three-quarters of respondents (ranging from 62% of 18-24-year olds to 72% of 45-54-year-olds) know that car companies or dealership employees might be listening to what they’re saying online.

Roughly 4 in 10 respondents aged 18-54 feel that dealerships and car companies listening to online conversations are intruding. That rises to 54% among the 55 and over demographic.

Attitudes regarding whether companies should monitor online conversations to improve products and services vary significantly among age groups, ranging from 40% agreement for the 18-24 set, to 57% for the 45-54 group, and back down to 37% for the 55+ set.

Slightly more respondents believe that a company should respond to them if they make a negative remark about the company in an online post than if they make a positive remark about a company in an online post.

When K and I were driving across country nearly two years ago now, we almost bought a Saab. To make

When K and I were driving across country nearly two years ago now, we almost bought a Saab. To make a long story short, my station wagon met its fatal end at the commencement of day two. We drove that hot mess from Tonopah, Nevada to Cedar City, Utah in about ten or eleven hours (unhindered, the drive would have been seven). The next day, after a restless night’s sleep on an unfulfilling dinner of pasty Domino’s pizza (in hindsight, it now seems ironic that pizza has accompanied many horrible things that have happened to me), we had to figure out what we were going to do.

I had one feeling about the situation, which I stated quite plainly: “Flying is for quitters.” National car rental companies, we learned, also did not rent their vehicles for the purposes of actually crossing the nation. The only alternative was to gamble on a cheap used car and hope we didn’t blow up inside of it (there was no way I was paying to have that shit inspected).

The shiny, toothy car dealer at the legit Ford dealership in Cedar “City” quickly redirected us to a “friend” of his who sold cars that we could afford and that might not kill us in another lot down the street. That friend, I kid you not, wore a Hawaiian shirt and kept his aviators on inside his office, which was decorated with license plates from states around the country. (Ask yourself: just how does one acquire authentic license plates from states all over the country? It’s a riddle I’ve never cared to solve.) Let’s say his name, for the sake of convenience, was Gene.

He eagerly took us onto the lot and showed us our periscope of options. An SUV we still couldn’t afford, a gold Chrysler, and a Saab that he pointedly avoided, which of course intrigued us.

It was noticeably the cheapest car on the lot (by at least $1,000). Its matte gray finish seemed to suggest that at least one of its doors had probably flown off somewhere and been replaced and repainted. It reminded me of something from Back to the Future. Not sleek and leonine like a modern Saab but boxy, short, and ominous, the sort of corduroy backseat where aliens might rape Gene, if only they had the chance.

“What about the Saab?” we asked.

Gene’s eyes were impossible to read behind those dark glasses. “You don’t want the Saab,” he replied dismissively. Skipping a beat, he added something unconvincingly logical, like, “It’s so impossible to get spare parts for old foreign cars; it just wouldn’t make sense for you girls to buy.”

K and I logically came to the conclusion that somebody had definitely died in that wheezy foreigner of a car, that feat of early ’90s Swedish ingenuity that was now only a morbid shadow of its former self.

Normally, knowledge of that sort of thing wouldn’t have dissuaded me from the knockout price cut. After all, my massacred station wagon had had burgundy (I still think, blood) stains hiding under the mats in the backseat. I’m the sort of weirdo who thinks that lends a character and history to a personal possession. It was the fact that Crooked Gene wouldn’t let us take it that was the ultimate wake-up call (we went with the Chrysler instead).

What does this anecdote have to do with my recent musings on life? I’ve been reflecting a lot on how shitty my health has gotten. No one ever writes about sneezing and coughing and snotting all over everything, but my body has pretty nearly failed to do much else in the last nine weeks (yes, I am currently sick for the fifth time now). More and more people look at me with consternation that dovetails into pity and then seems to settle into a serene acceptance of my inevitable death by adenovirus. Signs are showing all over my exterior– sandpapery patches on my arms, sallow bags under my eyes from the sleep I can’t quite get. Calluses will no doubt start spreading around my nostrils any day now. Highfalutin cultural studies work aside, I am quite literally a lowly mouth-breather. For the first time this morning, I noticed that skeins of gray are sweeping through the hair at my temples, whether through stress or yet another privilege of my unique genetics.

I feel busted; like clockwork, the hope I have of feeling good again dissipates at the end of each week, the longest I’ve felt healthy since December. I feel like I just keep spackling myself together and doing what I’m supposed to do, but there will no doubt be casualties, whether amongst my own work or my students. And then I realized, I am the Saab. (The homonymic resonance– “sob”– is purely coincidental.)

Boo hoo. Go make yourself some soup, even if you’re never hungry enough to eat it anyway. AT LEAST YOU HAVE SOUP. Jesus.

So, for the soup, make life easy on yourself and swap the vegetables I’ve listed for whatever comes in one of those overpriced “soup mix” arrangements at your local grocery store. The parsnip may be unacceptably tender, and the package may turn out to hold mostly celery, but fuck it, you can’t taste anything anyway. These vegetables and herbs are just what happened to be in my grocery grab-bag, as well as some fennel that I just happened to have in the fridge (yes, you can ask, what kind of person just “happens to have fennel” in their fridge?).

Overnight, soak your colorful and exciting bean mix in a lot of water. MARVEL AT THE BEAUTY OF THE NATURAL PACKAGED WORLD.

The part where you tenderize the onions, celery, and fennel in the base of the stockpot is really boring.

Then the part where you wait over a half hour for the soup to boil AND cook is… possibly worse.

But then you have enough vegetable soup to feed a garrison, and along with vegetable soup, you have the fictional reassurance that this extra step you’re taking towards better health will make a difference. Yay.

16-bean and 7-vegetable soup
serves 6-8

prep time: 20 minutes
cook time: 45 minutes

1 tbsp. olive oil
1 small onion, diced
4 stalks celery, diced
1/2 bulb of fennel (anise), with fronds separated, diced
2 large carrots, peeled and diced
1 red potato, peeled and diced
1 parsnip, peeled and diced
1 turnip, peeled and diced
fresh dill, parsley, fennel fronds, and thyme to taste, chopped (about 1 cup total)
1 pkg. Goya 16-bean soup mix (or comparably exciting bean mix), soaked overnight
1 carton (approx. 4 cups) gluten-free vegetable stock
4 cups water
2 tsp. salt (more to taste)
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Soak the beans in a large mixing bowl of water the night before you plan to cook the soup.

In the bottom of a large stockpot, heat the olive oil. Once shimmery, saute the onion, celery, and anise until translucent.

Add the carrots, potato, parsnip, and turnip, along with the broth and water, and the chopped herbs last.

Rinse the beans thoroughly and add them to the pot, along with the salt and black pepper.

Bring to a boil (roughly 10-15 minutes).

Once boiling, reduce to a simmer and cook, covered, 30-35 more minutes (or until the carrots are tender). Serves up to eight dinner portions.

Many people put on their thick socks and warm, fluffy coat before leaving off to work in the morning

Many people put on their thick socks and warm, fluffy coat before leaving off to work in the morning during the cold winter months, but is you car prepared for what the winter brings along? Will you manage to make it start?

You can find out whether your car is prepared for the cold winter or not in a few easy steps so that you don’t have to wait for hours for the tow truck because your junk car gave up in the middle of the road.

Protecting your car from the frost

It’s essential to make sure you get your car looked at by a garage for a general check up because e most people think that if the car doesn’t make any funny noises it automatically must be okay while there might just as well be something very wrong with it, without you being aware of it. Especially if your car is a used car that you’ve bought from some random “sell used car” website from a junk car dealer or a private car seller. First of all you need to make sure that your tires aren’t slippery, if they are it’s important to switch them before it starts snowing. Beside the tires you also need to make sure your car battery is able to survive the cold months, if you suspect it might not then it’s a good time to replace it too. Not being able to start the car in the morning because the battery is weak is one of the most annoying things that can happen during the winter. Last but not least, make sure your car doesn’t have any form of leakage otherwise you will have moisture on your windows while driving, which will make it difficult to see your surroundings in put you in a dangerous position.

Buying a safe, reliable car

Most car crashes happen during the winter because of the slippery roads and of moisture or snow on the windows which reduces the sight. to make sure you’re travelling safely you have to be able to trust your car so that you can avoid getting involved in a devastating car crash on the highway. If you don’t trust your used car, then maybe it’s a good idea to reconsider buying another one because getting it restored by the garage might end up being more expensive than buying another one from a private used car seller with a “car for cash” add. People sell their cars for very cheap nowadays due to the crisis, so there’s a big chance you might get a great deal on a junk car online if you know where to look. Once you’ve found a car that satisfies your needs you still have to sell the old one, otherwise you’ll end up with 2 which would create unnecessary expenses. You can put your used car up for sale on the used car for cash website sellingthecar.com, you’ll receive a nice offer within 48 hours from a junk car dealer near you.

The whole world is affected by the financial crises directly or indirectly, nevertheless we can sure

The whole world is affected by the financial crises directly or indirectly, nevertheless we can surely say that the car selling industry is one of the most affected sectors by the crisis. The numbers don’t lie, the used car sales dropped by 20% in January, while on the other hand new car sales dropped through the floor by 31.5%. This is worrying because the expectation was that the car sales would rise in January but it did the complete opposite.

This is a very surprising twist because analysts were expecting people to sell more used cars but the exact opposite is taking place. They thought that when people are having financial problems that more would try to sell their cars in an attempt to have some extra cash, or to switch to a cheaper version. How is this possible?

Afraid to take risks

This partially has to do with the fact that people are afraid to take any chances in these hard times, people are afraid of buying or selling cars because if something goes wrong they will end up with the costs and problems that go along with it. Besides we also notice that lease companies no longer put old lease cars on the used car selling market but would rather try to export used cars. This means that there are less used cars available at car dealers and on “car for cash” websites. Besides, the car that happen to be up for sale are just too expensive for people right now, most people can’t afford to buy any sort of luxury items and focus on the necessary things. This results in the fact that there are way too many cars for sale online, but way too little buyers, “sell car for cash” websites keep on filling up with thousands of “sell junk car” adds with very little response to them.

Selling your car without taking any risks

the junk car for cash website sellingthecar.com understands like no other that people need to have a secure feeling and need to be able to rely on the person who sells their car. That is why we work with more than 3.500 junk car dealers, that we can guarantee the highest price and the best quality, and all this 100% free of charge. All you need to do is register on the website for free in 3 easy steps, and you can expect a phone call within the next 48 hours with a nice offer, it’s as simple as that.

If it’s the first time you are buying a car, there would be things like finance, insurance and car type really holding the attention of your mind. Buying a car can be quite stressful at times; however if you choose the right car dealership, you can save yourself a lot of time and money.

Car dealership can help you immensely in the car buying procedure. All that you need to do is be with a salesperson that you know and can trust. You are going to be spending a lot of time with this salesperson doing the inquiries over the phone, internet and going on test drives with him/her, so it is extremely important that you build a good professional relationship with your salesperson.

When you are visiting the websites of car dealers in your area, be sure to check if their website is getting updated regularly or not. If you come across a car dealer, whose website has not been updated in months, then this car dealer is not right for you. You might also want to check the customer service area of the website and see how quickly they respond to the queries that their potential customers make.

Your salesperson needs to be transparent and honest in the dealing procedure. The salesperson should use professional car dealership marketing tactics and tell you everything about the car and the transaction that you are going to be making. If you sense that the salesperson at the car dealership is hiding information from you, then this dealership is not right for you and it’s better to find another as soon as possible.

DEALERS must embrace social media or face losing countless potential sales, Motors.co.uk have warned.

Research carried out by the advertising portal revealed that even of the dealers who do have a presence on Twitter, the majority fail to answer enquiries made via it.

In the mystery shopping test, 40 dealers were approached by Motors.co.uk’s team on Twitter and asked for their latest deals and offers – but just six managed to respond within an hour.

Only 12 responded at all, and Motors.co.uk suggests that many did so ineffectively – with only three asking to speak over telephone or Twitter’s direct message facility.

‘If you were to say each missed enquiry represented a possible sale value of at least £2,500; those dealerships could have missed out on a potential combined £70,000 in revenue,’ commented Motors.co.uk’s managing director Andy Coulthurst.

‘In addition, just two of those dealers suggested specific cars which might be of interest to our Twitter consumers and only three tried to engage in a conversation. We chose dealers for the study who listed their Twitter profiles on their website and were actively broadcasting tweets, so we were expecting a fairly high response rate.

‘What this shows, however, is that just because dealers have a social media presence, it doesn’t mean they are all using it effectively. There are some great examples of social media success stories in dealerships and we hear anecdotally of dealers who have managed to sell cars solely through social media channels.

‘Indeed, the integration of a strong, responsive website with engaging social media activity and a focus on excellent customer service can yield great results. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter what channel you are using, the old adage of putting the customer first still rings true.’

New motorcars are considerably a lot more desirable for motorists, but the price of new autos is so

New motorcars are considerably a lot more desirable for motorists, but the price of new autos is so high, numerous drivers can’t carry them selves to commit that a lot. With petro at its present value, it is practically a prerequisite to locate some way to lower driving costs. If new cars are not an option, the up coming decision is seeking for used cars for sale or using public transportation.

Used autos for sale can be identified almost everywhere. They are on web boards, Fb, in the papers, on the telly, and numerous other spots. People who have owned an automobile have normally undertaken to offer a single, so most individuals at some point conclude up on each sides of an auto transaction.

Because an automobile, utilized or new, still costs challenging-acquired money, you want to get the greatest benefit you possibly can when thinking about used autos for sale. Not every single supply supports your best interests. For this explanation, the initial location to research for used automobiles is by means of a automobile supplier.

Why Take into account a Dealership for Used Automobiles for Sale

Automobile sellers unfairly get a bad rep a lot of occasions due to the fact a secondhand vehicle does not execute as properly as the consumer expects, but there are numerous reasons why a vendor is the location for utilized vehicles for sale. Consider the following:

1. Auto dealers have a lot of connections for locating the utilized car you want. Even if they don’t have the make or design you are looking for, they can speedily operate a search of the region and explain to you what is available.

2. Pricing is in line with the industry benefit of the car you want. You might think that you are receiving a deal by way of the good friend of a buddy, but there is a good opportunity there is something wrong with a automobile that is far beneath honest industry price.

3. Most vehicle sellers stand guiding what they market. You may possibly not get an extended guarantee on a utilised automobile, but most sellers will provide some service interval when a motor vehicle is coated. Most sellers entirely check out autos and make any needed repairs just before placing them up for sale. Try out to get your funds again from someone you don’t know, and you will see why a vendor is a better choice.

4. Usually, sellers have the greatest rates. After all, promoting cars is what they do. You can negotiate when getting a employed automobile and a supplier is aware of what the cheapest realistic price tag is just before you offer you. Even although dealers are in the organization to make income, they also know that they must change over employed cars well timed.

You might get fortunate likely yet another route for a utilised automobile purchase, but why possibility a undesirable experience if you don’t have to? You will most always preserve by yourself some time and problems if you go through a car seller when seeking for used cars for sale.

You can not in fact consider benefit of your local utilised auto sellers but you can get a far better offer from them than from an out of city seller that you may possibly never pay a visit to once again. personal car buying service

The winter is a very nice time of the year for most people as they enjoy the Holidays hanging in the

The winter is a very nice time of the year for most people as they enjoy the Holidays hanging in the air, the fireworks, snowmen and plying children along the sidewalks. Snow isn’t only nice for the normal people but also for car selling dealers and for garages who get a sudden raise of 20% in their profits due to the increase of customers with car problems.

The most common issues are that the car won’t start up because the battery is weak due to the cold, replacing the tires due to the slippery roads, and of course repairs due to car crashes caused by losing control of the car. Car insurance companies are also greatly affected by snow as they get more phone calls from people who’ve had an accident and want to get their damages refunded. To sum it up, drivers get more costs while used car selling companies, garages and car part shops get more customers, so earn 20% more money.

Taking precautions to avoid extra costs

You can avoid getting in this kind of situation by taking a number of things into consideration. First of all it’s very important to make sure your car has good grip on the road to avoid slipping and pinning around, that means that you will need some good quality tires under your car and to make sure you don’t drive too fast, and to keep enough distance between you and the driver in front of you. Don’t forget that braking isn’t as efficient when it’s snowing, it might even cause you to spin off the road if you’re not careful enough, that why it is essential to take it easy and keep your distance. Besides there is also the fact that people don’t see as well during the winter because of the snow and moisture on their windows, so there’s a bigger chance that they might not see you coming on time. You can avoid that by putting on your lights while driving during the day, but then again you’ll need to make sure your battery can handle that too.

Selling your junk car is cheaper and safer

On top of all this it isn’t a good idea to drive around in a junk car when it’s slippery on the road, that’s basically asking for trouble. It might cost a few bucks to get another car, but on the long run it’s not only safer but cheaper as you will avoid having to pay for all sorts of repairs and garage fees when something goes wrong. Besides if you mess up your junk car against a tree during the winter you will have to buy a new one anyway so you might just as well save yourself the trouble by taking precautions. The best thing you can do is to put you junk car up for sale on a junk car selling website such as sellingthecar.com where you’ll receive an offer from a junk car dealer within the next 48 hours. The perks of selling your car using this “junk car for cash” website is that registering is 100% free of charge, easy and quick. Besides you will receive cash for car from the car dealer once you deliver the keys, which means you don’t have to worry about getting paid, or wait for your money as everything will be taken care off on the spot. Once you’ve received the payment you can go look at “sell used car” adds online until you find a nice, attractive deal and invest the money you got into your new used car.

We live in a time where you can get some sort of loan for about any kind of object, whether it

We live in a time where you can get some sort of loan for about any kind of object, whether it’s for renewing your furniture, or to go on a tropical holiday, or even to buy an expensive new car.

Despite the fact that loans are available for the people, we clearly notice that the majority of the population choose to pay cars off at once instead of paying off a loan. According to statistics we see that 81% wouldn’t want to buy a car with a loan because of the financial insecurity caused by the financial crisis. Everything is becoming more expensive, while salaries stay the same and unemployment keeps rising nonstop. This makes people think twice before taking a loan of some sort for a luxury item such as a car, no one wants to get evicted from their house because they are unable to pay off their car bill, right? Nowadays we notice that instead of going to the car dealer down the block people would rather go have a look on “car for cash” sites to buy or sell a used car.

Buying a car with a loan

It definitely sounds like an attractive option to be able to buy a brand new BMW and only having to pay a couple of bucks each month to pay it off, but what if you calculate everything properly? The mortgage/rent, your medical insurance, car insurance, taxes, water/electricity/gas and so on and add the monthly car payment to all that you might want to reconsider taking that step. With the financial situation being out of balance the last couple of years and getting worse by the minute it usually isn’t the smartest move you can make. If you still have any doubts than watching one season of the TV series Operation Repo will probably make you reconsider your choice and choose to buy a used car on a “sell junk car” website.

Used car sales increases quickly

While the new car sales dropped by a scary 31.5% in January we notice a huge increase in junk car sales through “junk car for cash” websites on the other hand. People would rather buy a junk car for a couple of hundred dollars with some technical problems here and there instead of a pretty, luxury, shiny new one with an expensive loan that they’re attached to for several years because they’re afraid of what the future will bring. This is why “sell car for cash” adds are filled with thousands of adds while on the other hand car dealer showrooms run empty and slowly go bankrupt one by one.

When the author (Ron Mays) who assembled and created the infographic that shows this ranking of the “Top 100 Automotive Blogs and Networks for 2013″ first contacted Ralph Paglia, we did not know what to expect. Ralph provided Ron Mays with the information he requested. When the list was announced by CouponAudit and the below Infographic published, all of us associated with the Automotive Digital Marketing Professional Community were pleasantly surprised to see that the ADM Professional Community came in at number 10 out of 100 sites that were selected and ranked.

Immediately below is the infographic that Ron Mays and the CouponAudit team created to display this ranking of auto industry and car business networking UGC sites:
