You cannot even believe the long week I have had. It was a complete crazy train of chaos, anger, stress and a bitter struggle to find my voice when I am being attacked….. You know how people start talking to you and then they walk away while your still talking to them…. People do that to me a lot. It is crazy I am  like Hello I was trying to converse with you. And then there is the people that don’t really care they will act like they are listening but then they won’t respond at all. I am not socially awkward, at least not until now.

I feel like I am flung down the rabbit hole, and now Alice needs to find a best friend who actually cares. Around here though I don’t seem to find much of anyone. It annoys me cuz I am like “okay I totally listened to all the crap you just said and now you turn and walk away not caring to give me the same kind of courtesy I bestowed upon you. “
I feel beat down like chains are keeping me from holding my head high in the carefree sense that I normally have. Like I have someone right next to me that will trip me and kick me when I am down, just when I start going, taking two steps forward and six steps back.

To put it bluntly I am in a game of monopoly where everyone else is winning and I am constantly landing on the go to jail space. “Go to jail. Go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars.”

Augh! I hate this feeling! Stress I hate stress!

I am, however working on my story. Eliora has almost nine pages (notebook paper at least) of story that will be added soon enough. Maybe more…

I would love to get it published, not just ebook published either. Though I have nothing against ebooks, I just have a lot of drive for paperback at least.  It is different from my normal stories, but I think with a little polish my little gem will shine.  It would be nice to have some feedback on it. I can take criticism…. I have developed a thick skin for it, and if someone doesn’t like it, it doesn’t really bother me.  Constructive criticism is something I can’t get enough of.  Be kind though. Let’s just keep in mind that what is uploaded so far is a rough draft. LOL

I now have two different versions of Caramelldansen on my mp3 player. The original Swedish version and the English version. Sadly I know the Swedish version better than the English, only because it was the first version I listened to so. I don’t know why I just love this song…. It is a song that gets me to shake off whatever is bothering me and just be a little crazy. LOL

Ah damn, I ruined the whole ‘post every four days’ trend I had going on. Nevermind.

There was so much I wanted to blog about at the start of the week, but I didn’t feel like it. Now I feel like blogging but can’t remember what I wanted to say, so I apologise for the lack of structure of this post. Yes, because I always have structure *nods*

I should be working on English, but Eels are playing tonight so I probably won’t get much done. I’m not really expecting a win, but it’d be awesome =D

First things first. As Tim kindly advertised – here’s the 3D chibi Vocaloid video. I love the stoner one. And yes, the leeks are a reference to Inoue.

Cabaret Night, anyone? Just kidding. I’ve had responses of ‘cute’ (Tina-ama) and ’sped’ (Hillbirley-nonma) – up to you to decide.

I didn’t do any work last Saturday, so I googled ‘Vocaloid’ because two groups did a Vocaloid dance at Animania (there’s bits of it in the video in my last entry). Heh, I tend to live in Carlingford under a rock now and then. I assumed it was some obscure anime, but then found out it was some singing synthesiser application software by Yamaha.

For anyone who is as lost as I was – one of the cool featured vids on Youtube explaining it.

Sounds cool, doesn’t it? Unfortunately, I haven’t been too impressed by the few songs I’ve heard. メルト gave me a headache – sounded a little like a castrated chipmunk. I didn’t like the PVs I saw, so here’s a Haruhi-style fanvid instead.

While I’m not a fan of Keito’s ‘voice’, the ice cream parody of the song was awesome. Probably need to read the English translation of the song first. Loved the illustrations <3 (why can’t I draw?) Lyrics are much more believable too =D

I really do prefer J-pop to the limited K-pop I’ve seen. Probably because you can’t take their slutty manwhoring seriously. Refer to homo moment previously mentioned. Or this. Start from 0:44 and watch to the end (or it just seems weird)- 42 seconds of your life well wasted

Yuck, Today Tonight is on in the background. It’s some story that’s right now subtley hinting that immigration to Australia sucks. Because your ancestors weren’t migrants at all, right? But I guess the stuff about food and housing and environment sounds reasonable. Even though everyone said that a few centuries ago.

Anyway.

Junior uniform Monday. I found mine about an hour ago – smells of mothballs and still too big for me. The uniform ladies lied when they said I would grow into it! xD

It really feels like Year 12 is ending now. I think the massive camerafest helps with that. I’m itching to go on Facebook, and defend some of the more retarded luvos, but I guess it’ll have to wait until HSC’s over. Not that keeping off Facebook has made me study more.

Awards Day, Year 12 Luncheon, beach. It’ll be weird being the grade it’s happening to, instead of just watching.

I’ll definitely miss school – mainly all my friends. I still don’t know half the grade, but to be honest, I’ll still miss everyone else a fair bit – probably more the feel of our grade, I guess.

I had a better photo of me eating cake – I was wearing blue and had cake all over my face. It looked a bit like I shoved my head into it. And I looked much better. Sadly, it’s probably decomposing in some garbage tip – we had some homework in Year 8 PE where we stuck on a baby photo of ourselves, and doing it the night before, I just stuck on the original. AND WE NEVER GOT IT BACK. Anyone from MLC remember this? Anyone want to ask the PE staff if they actually filed it away somewhere instead of throwing it out? *clutches shreds of optimism*

Study can wait. Time to make the most of the next 1.5 weeks

The other night I went to Duet48 (which makes me think AKB48??). For people who don’t know, it’s a karaoke place in New York City, somewhere… At any rate, I went with a housemate of mine and our circle of friends.

Given my taste in music, I have virtually no reason to pick any English songs. But alas, since I cannot read Japanese reliably (and quickly) I am stuck having to sing songs that I just know. Unfortunately, after hearing SO many songs, I don’t know any. It doesn’t help that I can’t really sing well either XD.

But being in that Karaoke room, for just a moment made me wonder what it was like at Hello! Party. On the couple of times I got to pick a song, I picked songs that I would want to sing or at least attempt.

I picked:

• Perfume – Dream Fighter

I REALLY like the chorus and KSYK’s solo part in the song. But really… I don’t know the rest of the song after that XD. It was just mumbling and trying to go by what I remember, oh and watching the PV cause they actually had it on screen with the karaoke lyrics. But I just wanted a chance to sing that awesome chorus.

• TERIYAKI BOYZ – WORK THAT!

I will admit, while I usually don’t like rap music and other urban things, I have warmed up to it over the years because of m-flo and his unique approach. That being said, I am biased to liking Teriyaki Boyz because VERBAL from m-flo is in it. I was just gonna sing the song because 75% of the lyrics are in English. But it was a surprising hit among my friends. The room was just full of us yelling: “Work that!” (no lie, almost 75% of the song is simply those 2 words). That actually makes me have a lot more appreciation for the song. I only really listened to the song because, Hiroyuki Suzuki, one of my favorite 1A yo-yoers used it for his freestyle music. But, now I can really appreciate the song. Go listen to it!

• Caramell – Caramelldansen Speedycake Remix

I’m actually surprised this was in their book… But I couldn’t resist. Doing the Caramelldansen dance and singing … Swedish is it? lyrics is instant fun. It’s quite a good song actually, very addictive.

At any rate, I’m surprised at the effect karaoke has on a song. At first, I was aghast that the instrumentals were MIDI-sounding and all (I suppose because of licensing and the like). But karaoke is fun. It’d probably be better if I could actually sing songs, I memorized. Or better yet, read… -_-; But who cares, when you can just mumble like Scooby Doo, when you can’t read the lyrics fast enough.
