<p>The <strong>Caribbean Cultural Conference</strong> is taking place from <strong>September 21st – 23rd</strong>. The conference is an annual event planned to bring together entertainment industry stakeholders to explore, examine the obstacles confronting the advancement of the Caribbean entertainment industry.</p>
<p>The last day of the conference will be celebrated with an artist showcase performance by <strong>Ed Robinson</strong>, <strong>Lyrikal</strong>, <strong>Mario Evon</strong>, and <strong>DJ Mastermind</strong><strong> </strong>at <strong>Webster Hall</strong> on <strong>Friday, September 23rd</strong> at <strong>6:30 PM</strong>. Webster Hall is located at 125 East 11th Street, New York City, New York.</p>

<p>Originally hailing from Trinidad, <strong>Lyrikal</strong> has been performing and recording music all throughout the metro New York area since 2003. His talent has reached many listeners, including artists such as <strong>Wu Tang Clan</strong> and <strong>Sean Paul</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Mario Evon</strong> is a Jamaican rising star creating his own niche of the Reggae-Soul genre. He defines his music as the place where R&#38;B and Soul meets Reggae and a touch of Dancehall.</p>
<p>In the Reggae Recording industry, <strong>Ed &#8216;ER&#8217; Robinson</strong> has proven that he is able to deliver some high-quality music. His version of <strong>Bob Dylan&#8217;s &#8220;Knocking On Heaven&#8217;s Door&#8221;</strong> was his biggest hit internationally to date. Robinson is also known as a drummer and businessman. He is the owner of <strong>TifTam Recording Studios (Jamaica)</strong>, <strong>E2 Recordinrk.g Studios</strong>, <strong>E2 Records</strong><strong> </strong>and <strong>E.R.M.A. Entertainment (New York)</strong><strong> </strong>stands out as a beacon of hope for internationally known and up coming artist.</p>
<p>Caribbean-American <strong>DJ MasterMind</strong><strong> </strong>began deejaying in the late 90s graduating his way up to concerts, nightclubs, college circuits, and radio shows throughout the New York City area and internationally.</p>
<p>The 2011 Caribbean Cultural Music Conference kicks off with a conference opening networking event on September 21st from 7:30 PM – 12 AM at Negril Village located at 70 West 3rd St., New York, New York. Admission is FREE.</p>
<p>Day 1 of the conference starts on Thursday, September 22nd from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Marriott Marquis hotel located at 1535 Broadway, New York, New York. Admission is FREE. The panel discussion will include the following topics/presenters: inside the production booth, music publishing, Jamaicanmusic.com, brand building, endorsement, and marketing music in the digital age.</p>
<p>Day 2 of the conference is also at the Marriott Marquis on Friday, September 23rd from 9 AM to 5 PM. Admission is FREE. The panel discussion will include: artist management, navigating the new music business, financial management tips, do&#8217;s and don&#8217;ts of touring presented by Tower Isle, and the changing face of radio and how the artist can use radio effectively presented by RedStripe.</p>
