Aujourd’hui j’ai décidé de vous présenter une des tendances qui va sûrement faire fureur sur le web en cette fin d’année 2009, à savoir les cartes de voeux digitales. L’avantage de ces dernières c’est qu’elles sont personnalisables. En effet, grâce au site Elf Yourself il vous est possible de choisir la photo de votre choix (notamment via un onglet facebook connect) ainsi que la musique qui accompagnera votre petit elfe.

Voici ci-dessous un exemple de carte de voeux où l’on voit Barack Obama entrain de danser sur du Hip Hop :

Pour informations, le site elfyourself a atteint les chiffres incroyables de 36 millions de visites en 2006 et 193 million en 2007. Les chiffres de 2008 sont plus bas à cause d’une inscription obligatoire introduite à l’époque. Cette inscription a été enlevéé pour l’édition 2009.

Après des heures de travail, quelques retouches sur Photoshop et des aller-retours sur le site de mon imprimeur, les cartes sont enfin prêtes à commander. Pour cette édition, je n’ai réalisé que 200 cartes de voeux soit 40 petits packs!!!Si vous souhaitez passer commande, envoyer moi un mail sur graindesel31@gmail.com. L’heure est venue pour moi de ressortir mon joli petit sapin rouge, histoire de donner un tout petit air festif à mon appartement. Ne restant pas à Durham pour Noël, je ne voyais pas l’intérêt d’en acquérir un vrai. Cependant, j’ai très hâte à rentrer en France afin de pouvoir contempler le sapin familial!

The time has come for me to dig out my lovely little red Christmas tree that gives the flat a rather discreet Christmassy feel. One doesn’t feel the need to buy a real Christmas tree for the flat since I will be going home to France soon. I’m looking forward to seeing our real tree in all its splendor!

J’ai également choisi mes cartes de vœux, que les anglais envoient plutôt pour Noël, et pas pour le premier de l’an.Il faudrait d’ailleurs que je me dépêche d’écrire les derniers! D’habitude je fabrique mes propres cartes, mais cette année il me manque le temps et l’inspiration.

I finally got around to choosing my Christmas cards. I usually make them, but this year I seem to be lacking in time and inspiration.

Par ailleurs, en ce temps festif, j’ai pu refaire mon stock d’huiles essentielles que vendent The Body Shop en édition limitée. Chez moi ça sent donc au choix, le pain d’épices, la vanille épicée ou alors le délicieux parfum des airelles. Miam!

I’ve been to stock up on home fragrance oils that are sold in The Body Shop over the holidays. At least my home now smells of gingerbread, cranberry or spicy vanilla. Yum!

La boutique chocofraise a été mise à jour hier ! Vous y trouverez des lots de cartes de voeux pour cette fin d’année et, dès ce soir et demain, des cadeaux de denière minute !

J’ai reçu des cartes de voeux en cette fin d’année, forcément, et je me pose la question : à quoi cela sert-il?

Le truc, c’est que je reçois toujours des cartes de personnes oubliées ou perdues de vues, et ça n’est pas encore fini.

En soi ce n’est pas idiot, mais en réalité?

Bon, la théorie : un moyen pour reprendre contact avec des gens perdus de vue, ou qu’on n’a pas eu le temps de voir, et que peut-être on trouvera le temps de voir.

La pratique : moi, je me dis souvent : ah, zut, faut rappeler la tante machine, et je la rappelle pas, et je me demande pourquoi elle m’écrit, celle-là, sauf pour se plaindre de mon absence de réponse.

OK, il y a les cartes virtuelles : mais tout le monde n’a pas internet?

Je me doute bien que certains ou certaines envoient balader ces traditions : mais que faire quand on aime bien des gens pourqui elle est importante, des grands-tante, des gens comme ça?

Je dis ça, mais j’ai lu des blogs ce matin et je sais ce que les filles font en ce moment. C’est pas des cartes de voeux.

Mais là, aujourd’hui, je ne parlerai pas des soldes. Je ne me sens pas, mais pas du tout dans l’ambiance. C’est marrant….
