I rarely drive my car anymore, which has led to a complete disregard for its maintenance or appearance. Recently, my car was in desperate need of a wash. In Southern California you have to spend at least $20 for a basic wash, not to mention the process wastes tons of water and uses many types of chemicals. I turned to a curious product from the PineMark marketplace, Lucky Earth waterless carwash. It was amazing! Super easy, quick, and very effective. Here are some of the pictures from my test.

The solution is coconut based, and in addition to being non toxic it also gives off this amazing scent. The photos do not do it justice but the wash also provides a fantastic polish.        There is a great car wash in Burlingame, CA., called “Ducky’s“. They do a super job and have  a nice shopping experience to keep customers occupied while waiting.

OK, here’s the thing naked young men cooling off in a carwash, there are some pretty high pressured cleaners in there! Four young dudes, paid their $17 before stripping off and running around inside a carwash in central Queensland. Their fun came to a grinding halt after cops, cruising the area, spotted them. A service station attentant said the sprayers “could’ve blown their eyes out of their sockets” not to mention remove their friggin skin. Oh well, they’ll have to scrub up for a court appearance now, public nuisance and wilful exposure doesn’t look good on anyone’s resume!

Psst I hope they cleaned under the mud flaps!

Convertible tops are not like the rest of your car’s exterior. the vinyl can absorb stains which take more that  a simple wash to get rid of .

avoid using abrasive cleaners such as scouring powders when you clean your convertible top. these products will clean the surface now but the top will begin to show signs of damage later on. It is wise to use a high quality cleaner specifically designed for vinyl convertible tops. These cleaner should be applied in the shade and the top should be cool to the touch.

When cleaning the plastic rear window, do not use a glass cleaner, since the chemicals in these can actually damage the plastic. also dont press to hard no matter how soft the towel your using is as you might scratch the plastic. There are products available designed specifically for cleaning plastic windows. Be sure to apply these cleaners in a side to side motion since these windows are very prone to swirl marks well. To make your top look new use a lint roller at the end of every wash to pick up any lint your towel has left behind.

Well I think I have been lazy long enough and it’s time for me to get on the ball and start doing the store highlights again.  Well this time I am highlighting SD Wears by Desdemona Young.  She has been with Car Wash since the beginning and has some awesome clothes for both men and women.

Every day I drive past Copper River Country Club on my way home from work, and everyday my car gets soaked with water from the rivers of landscaping water running from their thin grass strip across Friant road. Not only does this happen once per day, but twice, in the morning and in the evening. The strip of grass that is the subject to these ridiculous levels of watering is no more than 4 feet wide.

With all of the water problems here in the valley and people complaining about people overusing water for carwashes and other events, I was quite surprised that no one had previously noted the ridiculous watering going on at Copper River. This same level of rediculous overwatering takes place not only on Friant Road, but on the entire Copper River property.

It doesn’t take an Einstein to fix a problem like this either. With new sprinkler technologies and pulse and drip irrigation, lowering the amount of water used by a sprinkler system is as simple as replacing a few sprinkler heads and valves. We need to do everything that we can to conserve the little water we have here in the valley. It’s important that everyone does their part, especially businesses that typically use several times more water than the average home.

Copper River Country Club, please do your part and be responsible with your water usage. Having a soaking wet lawn is not worth losing the agricultural prowess this area possesses.

oh and before that i washed my mom’s car with my mom and bro with a large SPONGE! hahaha it was so fun! actually it was only fun when you’re using the sponge cos its so squishy and you feel like yr really doing a car wash. but my bro wanted the sponge too so being a nice sister i let him use it. and i had to use the stupid cloth which is so boring and totally not car wash. and then when i wanted to use the sponge after my bro was done my mom said i cant anymore cos the sponge is dirty!! so annoying right.

then after that i went to the exercise pit with my bro and it was so fun doing all the stuff haha. and to my dismay i found out i couldnt do the monkey bars anymore like zomgz i was monkey bar queen when i was a kid ohman im so unfit now boohoo.

okay ireally needa pee so im gg off now haha.

The founder of Tease & Wash, Gerald Chen, said that the promotion would feature “real” women washing the cars, and not men disguised as the fairer sex to trick customers. lololol
