Celebrity paternity questions run the whole range from common to complex. But one thing you can be sure of is that they attract a more than their fair share of attention. Don’t be mislead by overblown coverage by the press, asking for a paternity test when there is any doubt has become the norm. Here are 6 celebrity test cases.

Jude Law and Samantha Burke: She says that the baby is his, but rumor has it Jude doesn’t want to meet the child until he’s seen the results of a paternity test. According to a source, “If [Jude] is the father he will meet his obligations to the child. He’s hoping for an early chance to establish that he is genuinely her dad.” Interesting note: Jude allegedly paid for Burke’s antenatal care as a kind gesture—not as admittance to fatherhood.

Keanu Reeves and Who??:  He recently agreed to take a paternity test to clear his name after a Canadian woman claimed he fathered her four kids over a period of many years, in total secrecy, across thousands of miles and who are all adults now. She asked Reeves to take a DNA test and has asked for $150,000 a month in child support, retroactive from 1988, as well as $3 million per month in spousal support. Any guesses as to the outcome of the test?

Eddie Murphy and Melanie Brown: He refused to take a paternity test for months and didn’t contact Scary Spice after she birthed her baby, Angel, in April. In June, the results came back positive. Poor Scary Spice. First she gets the bad nickname and then she screws around with a bad dad!

Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva:  He asked his girlfriend to get a DNA test when the baby is born. The PR machines are all saying that it wasn’t his idea and that his previous offspring encouraged the decision—probably since they’ll be divvying up his fortune. Also rumored is that he was convinced to get the test by some of his ‘closest friends in his church’. Way to go Mel, why take responsibility for the decision when you can point to the kids and your church!

Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge: She was pregnant at 16 and her 19-year-old boyfriend requested a paternity test. The relationship was already in trouble when the news came out and apparently, Casey told the family that he didn’t want to be with Jamie Lynn until he was sure he was the baby daddy. Not a lot of trust there apparently. So did he, or anyone he consulted consider that asking for a paternity test isn’t the first step toward restoring a trusting relationship?

Gillian Anderson and Julian Ozanne: The X Files star’s estranged husband Julian Ozanne asked for (but didn’t get, apparently) a paternity test in 2006 after she announced she was having a baby with her boyfriend Mark Griffiths, just three months after their breakup. Anderson gave birth to her second son with Griffiths last year so apparently he’s the real dad! Did Julian want to be a daddy or did he want proof of infidelity?

The Babydaddy to Jamie Lynns (Britney’s lil sis) daughter, Maddie was hospitalised yesterday at University of Mississippi Medical Center after his car crash incident in Jackson, Missisippi on Saturday night.

Another shocking news is that Casey has a blood clot near his brain and is about to undergo surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. I wished all the best to him and his family.

Aldridge was driving home from a fishing trip in Amite Counts, MS, when he wrecked his Ford F150 with two male pals in the car.

Casey Aldridge the father of Jamie Lynn Spears 8 month old child was taken to the hospital in serious condition this weekend after he crashed his Ford F 250 in Jackson Mississippi.  2 of Casey’s friends were also injured during the crash and are in the hospital too.

According to E!News Pop star and actress of Nickelodeons Zoey101’s baby daddy “Casey Aldridge” was in an accident on Sunday April 26^th.

The 19 year old flipped his F-250 while drifting off the road. Louisiana State Trooper “Mark Dennis” stated that he was given a “Careless operation traffic citation”.

The trooper went on to say that there were 5 people in the truck and 3 were ejected from the vehicle. One of the passengers ejected was driver Casey Aldridge who was reported as going to the hospital. Rumors are that he may have cracked his skull but no details have been released. As for some of the other passengers not all of them went to the hospital some even refused treatment other reported minor injuries.

Not clear as to when Casey is expected to appear in court but we will keep you updated on the developments. Meanwhile there have been additional reports that Jamie is by his side the couple are engaged and haven’t picked an exact date for their wedding but there will be hope in the future.

Oh dear! Just when I was all happy, from The Go-Go’s concert at The House of Blues on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood, comes this tragic news. 

Cassie Aldridge, partner of Jamie Lyn Spears, sister of Britney Spears, had a fatal car crash last night.

Reports state that: ‘Aldridge was driving home at 1:30 a.m. Sunday when he wrecked his Ford F150 with two male pals in the car, one of whom broke his collar bone. The source adds that Casey has a hematoma and doctors fear he has a blood clot in his brain. He may be heading into surgery, a source tells RadarOnline.com.’

Jamie Lynn’s baby, Britney’s niece, is breastfed – we know this because allegedly, photos of her breastfeeding the baby are being offered for sale by a Wal-Mart employee after Casey, baby Maddie’s dad, took the memory card in to be processed.

It’s apparently an offence to sell photos of a minor with an exposed breast, whether taken for “sexual purposes” or not.

What is heartening about this story is that nobody’s (so far…!) criticised Casey for taking the photos, or said that breastfeeding is disgusting.  However, I’ve yet to see the Daily Mail’s take on it…or read the views from some of the knuckle-draggers who comment on their website.  Watch this space…

Federal and local authorities are on the hunt for someone peddling 12 photos of Jamie Lynn Spears breastfeeding her newborn daughter Maddie.

According to TMZ.com, the photos were taken on her fiance Casey Aldridge’s digital camera.

Law enforcement officials believe an employee at a Louisiana Wal-Mart – where Aldridge dropped off his camera — may have made extra copies in an attempt to sell them.

Because Jamie Lynn is a minor, selling the photos — or buying them — could constitute a violation of federal laws prohibiting pornography, according to TMZ.

The set of photos also include Britney holding the baby, brother Brian and Lynne and Jamie Spears around Jamie Lynn’s hospital bed, as well as photos of Maddie.

Like any new daddy, Casey Aldridge, baby daddy of Jamie Lynn Spears, took some pictures of his new family.

Then the idiot took the pics to his neighborhood Wal-Mart to get developed. Because why wouldn’t the boyfriend of a millionaire want to get a deal on his digital prints?

And what happened? Obviously, the under-paid employee of America’s most controversial store made extra copies of the pics and is shopping them around to the tabloids. Normally this wouldn’t be a huge deal, except for the fact that the pictures included shots of JL breastfeeding her newborn.

Yup! Another celebrity boob is exposed.

The Spears family and local authorities are looking into this whole scandal, but dirty dudes everywhere (Jamie Lynn is a minor!) are patiently waiting those pics.

Just remember this the next time you want to save a few cents on those pictures of yours; you never can trust the photo dude.
