The guitar is an Epiphone SG G400 Custom with gibson Burstbucker 3 pickups.
Amp is a Cornford Roadhouse 30.

Wenn man im Bus oder im Zug sitzt, auf etwas wartet, oder gerade auf dem Heimweg ist, dann ist die beste Möglichkeit, Zeit totzuschlagen eindeutig Gaming. Wenn man dann noch seine liebsten Retro-Titel unterwegs zocken kann, dann fängt der Spaß erst so richtig an. Ich liste euch heute ein paar meiner Retro to go Games auf.

Dragonball Z Buu's Fury

Mein erster Tip ist gleichzeitig ein Geheimtipp. Mit Dragonball Z Buu’s Fury ist nämlich eines meiner liebsten GBA Spiele erschienen. Das tolle Action Kampfsystem mit den Rollenspielelementen und der Dragonball Saga rund um Buu macht diesen Titel für mich zu einen wirklichen Hit. Ich habe viel Zeit mit diesem Titel verbracht, auch nach dem Story Ending war es spaßig, die Charaktere hochzuleveln, die Welten noch ein bisschen zu erforschen und neue Fertigkeiten zu lernen. Sehr cool: Man kann zwischen allen Dragonball Z Charakteren, die in diesem Teil der Saga tätig sind, spielen und wechseln nach Lust und Laune.

Final Fantasy IV Advance

Ein weiteres Rollenspiel darf hier in diesem Artikel dabei sein. Dabei handelt es sich um Final Fantasy IV Advance, welches ich schon seit SNES Zeiten gut kenne. Damals hat mich das Spiel schon begeistert, heute laufe ich noch gerne mit dem Gameboy Advance herum und spiel den Teil. Busfahrten werden so nie langweilig und auch der ein oder andere Sitznachbar ist sofort still und schaut gespannt auf dem Bildschirm um die sofort ergreifende Story mitzubekommen, oder die toll gemachten Kämpfe mitzuverfolgen.

Klar, es gibt noch viele andere Final Fantasy’s auf dem GBA, aber die müssen nicht alle genannt werden. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance etc. sind alles wirklich gute Titel, aber das hier ist einfach das beste Handheld Game der Reihe!

Mega Drive Collection (PSP)

Um auch eine gelungene Collection zu erwähnen, bringen wir diese mit ein. Schon allein die zwei Phantasy Stars (II und IV) berechtigen den Kauf dieser Collection allemal. Die anderen Titel sind auch wirklich gut. Wer mehr Info’s zu den einzelnen Titeln will, sollte einfach auf Amazon nachschauen…

Castlevania - Aria of Sorrow

Auf sämtlichen Handhelds ist Castlevania nun schon erschienen, aber auf keinem konnte es mich mehr überzeugen. Aria of Sorrow ist eines der wenigen Titel, dass die Elemente von Videospielen so gut verbindet wie sonst. Die RPG Elemente und das gut umgesetzte Metroidvania Prinzip, sowie die Liebe zum Detail seitens Konami machen den Titel unheimlich gut. Man spielt ausnahmsweise keinen Belmont und peitscht auch nicht in der Gegend herum, stattdessen sammelt man verschiedene Waffen und Seelen und läuft im Schloss von Graf Drakula umher, besiegt gigantische Bossgegner und erkundet die Umgebung.

Meiner Meinung nach eignet dieser Teil sich sowohl für lange als auch für kurze Sessions, da man jederzeit in Speicherräumen sein Spiel absichern kann, jedoch auch einfach fortfahren kann.

The Legend of Zelda - The Minish Cap

Schade dass ich Minish Cap erst jetzt nachhole. Denn hätte ich dieses Zelda Abenteuer früher gekannt, wäre ich wohl öfter mit dem früheren Bus gefahren,  um dann vor der Schule sitzend Zelda zu spielen. Stattdessen darf ich jetzt daheim spielen, weil ansonsten keine Zeit für das langwierige Adventure bleibt.

Ich habe übrigens bewusst zu Minish Cap gegriffen, da mir dieser Teil von den Handheld Zelda’s am besten gefallen hat, neben Phantom Hourglass. Aber Phantom Hourglass ist noch kein Retro Game, von daher…

Pokémon - Silberne Edition

Diese Videospielreihe prägte mein Leben als Gamer. Dank ihr spiele ich jetzt Rollenspiele, durch sie hab’ ich lesen gelernt und mit ihr gehe ich gerne auch heute noch aus dem Haus. Zwar nehme ich, um nicht mit dem klobigen Kultklumpen Gameboy aufzufallen, lieber meinen GBA mit, allerdings kann es schon oft passieren, dass genau dieses Spiel im Slot steckt. Die unheilmich gute Spielmechanik packt einen unheimlich gut, man kann allerdings auch jederzeit speichern und dann ausschalten.

Si les gusto el post previo recordando a Mario, que les parece ahora “Half-LifeVania” un reamke de  Castlevania del  NES gracias al juego Half-Life 2. El canal de Machinima se lleva los honores.

Algunos ya sabrán que se estaba planeando una pelicula acerca de uno de los mas famosos y grandes juegos de la historia (de mis favoritos en Snes) “Castlevania“. Pues tengo para informarles que el proyecto ha vuelto a resurgir y está vez se habla de una nueva adquisición, Paul WS Anderson el mismo que se encargo de la saga “Resident Evil“.

Esperemos que esta vez si se lleve a cabo este proyecto y rogemos porque no sea una total mierda como nos tiene acostumbrado hollywod en estos tipos de proyectos.

Paul W.S. Anderson, who is currently shooting “Resident Evil: Afterlife”, has planned to keep himself busy after wrapping the movie. His partner in “Resident Evil”, producer Jeremy Bolt, recently told press that the helmer, who has been set to produce “The Three Musketeers”, is circling two upcoming movie projects.

According to Bolt, Anderson has once again eyed the helmer position for “Castlevania”, in which James Wan has been attached to direct. Additionally, he has put his name in the unofficial bidding for directing “Metal Gear Solid”.

“Castlevania”, based on classic video game with the same title, will follow Transylvanian knight who leads his men into a gothic castle to seek refuge from the Turkish army. The knights soon discover the castle is controlled by the original vampire. Paul W.S. Anderson will serve both as producer and writer of the 2010 movie.

As for “Metal Gear Solid”, the action sci-fi movie will serve as an adaptation of Konami’s video game series centering on Solid Snake, a retired soldier who infiltrates a nuclear weapons disposal facility to neutralize the terrorist threat from Foxhound, a renegade special forces unit, in an attempt to liberate their two hostages. Produced by Michael De Luca, it is scheduled to be released in 2012.

Can’t somebody please stop Paul W.S. Anderson? I mean tie his shoe laces together or something. Just gently usher him away from a video camera to a nice cozy padded room someplace.

It appear the “auteur” is keen to film an adaptation of Konami’s best-selling video game Metal Gear Solid. Columbia Pictures hold the rights to the franchise which centres around the exploits of Solid Snake, a retired soldier working to neutralise the threat of Foxhound, a renegade special forces unit.

Not content with leaving the video game adaptations there, Anderson is also rumoured to be working on Castlevania for Rogue Pictures. The movie is set to focus on the origins of Dracula and the uprising of the Belmont Clan, a vampire-slaying family who supposedly become humanity’s last hope. Thankfully nothing has happened to date as they are still waiting on a script.

Now I’m willing to forgive the man for Resident Evil, as it wasn’t bad. And for Mortal Kombat, as that was pretty much unfilmable to begin with. However, despite making the underrated Event Horizon, I am still unwilling to forgive the cinematic travesty  that was Alien vs Predator, which butchered two brilliant franchises. Also his last movie, Death Race, was pretty damn awful.

Could be worse though, it could be Uwe Boll.

Fiquem com o vídeo da primeira fase desse remake que, por enquanto, pouco tem a ver com o original. O lançamento fora do Japão na Wiiware ainda não tem data definida.

Sí, soy consciente de que muchos os pasáis más tiempo con “la pleeey”, que con el libro de Economía de la empresa.

Aquí, como titulaba El País hace tres años, se juega mucho pero se fabrica poco.

En la web de la Asociación Española de Distribuidores y Editores de Software de Entretenimiento (ADESE) tenéis información muy completa y detallada de todo tipo de datos sobre el sector: ranking de ventas, hábitos de consumo de drogas de los jugadores…

Es interesante la conclusión de este último estudio:

” Los videojugadores tienen, por regla general, un hábito de consumo de drogas, de
alcohol y tabaco ligeramente inferior al de los no jugadores.”

Los informes anuales del sector son muy completos:

España es el cuarto país mundial europeo en consumo de videojuegos, pero en producción se ve relegado a la vigésima posición.

El crecimiento de la publicidad del sector en los últimos años es impresionante:

A pesar de nuestra sequía productiva,  tenemos casos como MercurySteam Entertaiment, una empresa de San Sebastián de los Reyes  que desarrolla videojuegos . La empresa desarrolla títulos para todas las plataformas, incluido PC y móvil.

Ahora, este estudio español,  está desarrollando con Konami el último capítulo de su famosa  saga Castlevania, cuyo presupuesto es nada más y nada menos, que  de 20 millones de euros.

En esta entrevista de la Vanguardia, podéis leer como guión, tecnología, personajes y escenarios se desarrollarán en España.

“Este juego es el equivalente a una gran película de Hollywood. Vinieron a buscarnos para proponernos el trabajo y nos han dado toda clase de libertad creativa. Es como si Spielberg hubiese venido a visitar a una productora española y le hubiese dicho: tengo en la cabeza un proyecto muy querido y que pensaba hacer yo, pero he decidido que lo hagan ustedes y yo pongo el dinero. Es una oportunidad magnífica porque este nivel de producción, entre otras cosas por el factor económico, normalmente no está al alcance de los estudios españoles”, explica a este diario Enric Álvarez, director del proyecto. “El reto –añade– es que tenemos que demostrar que somos muy buenos haciendo juegos y que merecemos el trabajo”.

Noviembre ya está aquí y Floppy entra en la recta final del año!
