Is an 80mm, richest field refractor really the Goldilocks scope?  Not too large, not too small – just right! If my four hours of observing last night is any indicator, the answer is “yes!”

I’ve owned two smaller scopes I thought were terrific – an Astro-tech 66 and a 60mm Televue. I really didn’t like parting with either, but priorities change and while I got some good milage out of them, I didn’t use them that often. Why? Certainly not for lack of portability because they are as portable as it gets. And the quality on both were stunning. And they always delivered more than I expected.  But, in the end for me using them was more a stunt – more an attempt to prove to myself how much I could do with how little. For someone else – especially someone who travels frequently – the portability may turn these two scopes into something much more practical than a stunt. But I rarely travel beyond my neighbor’s yard. My idea of portability is being able to move 10-feet to avoid a tree that’s blocking my view.   And I don’t really need  the quick-look capability of “grab and go” when the scope in my observatory can be operational in two minutes flat and the 15-inch in less than five minutes.

So when I say portable what I really mean is my aging muscles should be ab;e to easily pick up the scope and tripod and move them 30-feet without any heavy breathing. In fact, I should be able to carry the scope, tripod, eyepieces, and my folding observing seat all on one trip. With the 80mm on a Voyager mount that’s possible – though I admit, it was certainly easier with the 60mm sitting on its Bogen tripod. OK, maybe it would be more sensible to make two trips sometimes But what I’m buying on the used market may fill that bill – along with what I have on hand now and what I learned from using a similar-sized scope last night.

Let’s start with the new – to me -scope. It’s known as a SV80S Stellarvue. It’s apochromatic triplet object was made by Lomo, a Russian firm, and is legendary within the circle of small refractor fanatics. (I’m an apprentice member of that circle.)  Here are the highlights from Stellarvue’s Web site where they still offer a limited number of these for $1,795 new. (What I   ssume is the Chinese version – probably as good – sells for $600 less. I’m getting one that’s four years old and uses the Lomo objective and I’m paying $1,000 – far more than I ever thought I would dream of paying for an 80mm scope. Oh – those highlights are:

• 80mm f-6 480 mm apochromatic triplet
• Fully multicoated objective for both visual and ccd use
• Stellarvue’s exclusive easy one touch cnc clamshell mounting ring with Vixen rail
• Genuine Feather Touch 2″ dual speed focuser with compression ring 1.25″ adapter.
• Retracting dew shield
• Instrument White high temperature powder-coating
• C7 side reinforced airline carry on case included (shown with optional accessories)
• Each one is triple tested including a star test by Vic Maris

Oh – it’s about 16-inches long and 7-8 pounds with diagonal and finder – though I’m not at all sure I’ll use a finder on it. More on on that later.

Sounds great. And while mine will come with the original – smaller – case, I can purchase the cae pictured here for it and that is a key to portability because of the great selection of eyepieces and accessories you can include.  So I’ll invest another $70 and get this case just to nake  the whole observing set-up more portable.

But is it really necessary to go to this extreme quality? honestly, I have my doubts.   I mean I know color will not be an issue with this scope and the two-speed focuser is very helpful with any scope this fast where focus is more critical than with slow scopes.  But will this outperform a Short Tube 80, the uniquitous little Orion that can do wonders and can be bought used for one tenth the price? Yes – absolutely. But how about a higher grade scope like Celestron’s Onyx 80? I have one, was planning to sell it, and that’s what I was using last night. The Onyx is one slick little scope and its optical performance is very nice. I’m going to hold on to it long enough so I can do some side-by-side testing. I hope the Stellarvue will have the edge, but at more than three times the cost of the Onyx it should.  Yes, as you pay more the cost per unit of improvement goes up – I don’t expect to see anything but a slight improvement – but I hope I’ll see that. And there’s something more involved – the scope has a sprt of history/personality but around its Lomo lens. And there’s ac ertain satisfaction inknowing that you are using the best,therefore if you are failing to see something you expect to see, theproblem is either you or atmospheric conditions. You’ve pretty much eliminated your equipment as a potential source of problem.

I decided to use the Onyx last night because it was handy and because I wanted to see just how much I could expect from an 80mm scope, since I’ve been using either 60, 100, or 120mm lately. Here’s Celstron’s talking points on the slick little Onyx (no longer in production):

This is a big mistake. It;s not a “sighting scope” at all – just apeep hole and as far as I can tell it does no good at all.  However, it is removable (one screw) and I’ve put a Rigel finder on there in its place. I also mounted a laser there. But I didn’t have either of these on it last night. Instead I simply used a 24mm Panoptic. (A 24mm Hyperion or 32mm Plossl would give the same field.) The result is a true field of view of about 3.2 degrees which is typical of the field for large astronomy binoculars. In fact many give even smaller fields.  I found the combination of the large field, plus 80mm of light-gathering power in the objective , makes it very easy to find everything from planets and bright stars, to very faint, low-surface brightness deep sky objects like  M33. What’s more, once you find them it’s a simple matter to boost the power. (I had tried a bargain-priced, 30mm eyepiece with an 82 degree apparent field of view. Works fine and delivers almost  five degrees true field. But I find it a bother going from this eyepiece – which is a 2-inch- to higher-powered 1.25 inch eyepieces. Hmmm. . . if I were using all Hyperions that wouldn’t be an issue. Anyway – little stuff like that can put me off sometimes. I don’t like fumbling with small parts and set screws in the dark anymore than I have to. )

But this is “richest field” aspect is really one of the most impressive things about using an 80mm scope with a short focal ratio thus making the scope its own finder. I found deep sky objects in particular easier to track down with this scope than with  the typical finder, whether it be a Rigel, red dot,  or 8×50 optical finder. The key, of course, is the light grasp. Another key is being able to sit comfortably behind the scope, as opposed to using a Dob where you sit at the side. Sitting behind this scope I found I very quickly developed a pretty accurate sense of where it was pointing – a sort of shoot-from-the hip type of thing. I don’t know how to teach it or even explain it, but it just feels natural. Look at where your target is and while looking, point the scope. I think your eye-brain work to deliver a solution if you get out of the way!  If your off a little, start a systematic sweep and you should soon pick up your target – assuming, of course, you have some idea what your target should look like!

I reported on my eveniong targets earlier in this post. The most astonishing thing there for me was a very clean split of the triple, Iota Cassiopeia – not bad for an 80mm!  This morning my frist targets with the same set up included M42, M50, the Christmas Tree Cluster,  M1, plus M35.  With M35 I could also see NGC 2158, which looked a tad like M1, only smaller, though of course they are much different objects. NGC 2158 is really a star cluster much more distant than M35. Seen together the two open clusters provide a wonderful sense of depth of field.

Castor, an easy triple star, split at 72X and was much better at 100X. I also looked at Saturn, rising in the east below Leo, and was able to see Titan and one other moon.  The Leo Triplet of galaxies, M65, M66 and NGC3628, was so simple to sweep up! I just pointed the shope at Chertan, one of the stars in the triangle that marks Leo’s haunches, then slowly swept south and a tad east. Bingo – it took about 15 seconds I think. A more challenging pair were the galaxies M81 and M82. But I just remembered that, as I think Sue French once wrote, “the Great Bear has ear mites.” So I pointed the scope in the direction of his ears and prowled around. Took longer this time, but boy do these two pop in this little scope at that power. What’s more, crank up the pwoer a bit and you can easily see that M81 is a spiral and M82 is a “cigar” with dark diagonal cloud cutting through it.

So why am I seeing the short-focal length 80mm as the Godilocks of scopes? To summarize:

1. Portability.

2. At low power you don’t need a finder because the field is both wide and bright, a great combination.

3. While it should be obvious that larger scopes will reveal more, you can get the essential astronomy experience – the feel for a galaxy, nebula, or star cluster – with an 80mm – certainly exhaust the Messier catalog and much more, as well as split many of the best double stars and do casual viewing of planets and Moon.

And one last point on the portability front – it is short enough so that a reasonable size and weight tripod and mount, such as you have with the Astro Tech Voyager, will work.  Longer scopes on this mount can put you awfully close to the ground when you’re trying to look up. With the 80mm there are no acrobatics – and no acrobatics trying to orient your eye to a finder either, since you aren’t using one!

Good News!!

Então… fiquei um tempo sem postar sobre o desfile. Bastante coisa aconteceu nesse meio tempo, decidimos finalmente o nome e já está tudo acertado sobre datas e horários!

Pra quem não lembra ou não chegou a ler… o desfile trata de Estilos Musicais. Cada aluno ficou encaminhado de escolher um estilo musical, fazer uma pesquisa histórica e confeccionar uma peça a partir de materiais alternativos (algo fora do convecional da moda casual) e apresentar em forma de desfile na faculdade.

A nossa inspiração foi Musica Eletrônica.

E estaremos desfilando nossa criação no dia 1º de Dezembro, às 20:00 no Saguão do Prédio A do Uniritter.

Los restos del templo de Cástor y Pólux

Los Dioscuros (hijos de Zeus), eran dos hermanos gemelos y famosos héroes. Cástor era famoso por su habilidad para domar caballos, y Pólux por su destreza en el arte del boxeo. Según que fuentes se examinen, unas dicen que los dos hermanos eran mortales, y otras narran la leyenda de que los dos eran inmortales, sin embargo en lo que sí coinciden las fuentes, es en decir, que si había un hermano inmortal, este era Pólux.

Cástor y Pólux raptaron a las hijas de Leucipo, y se casaron con ellas, una era Hilaira, y la otra era Febe, la sacerdotisa de Atenea.

Imaginense!!!!  Todos pensabamos que Coherencia Universitaria tenia como simbolo un CASTOR, pero ahora es cada vez mas claro que es un CUY MAGICO QUE DA PLATA! Esto basicamente porque parece ser que los amigos “coherentes” se benefician de lo lindo cuando entran al poder. No se si recuerdan que hace un tipo dije que toda esta PARAFERNALIA de crear un movimiento y de postularse a donde sea, no era por amor al chancho sino por amor a los chicharrones. No se si se acuerdan la lluvia de criticas de recibi de los miembros de Coherencia Universitaria, sobretodo de los actuales miembros de la FEPUC y algunos Directivos del Movimiento Coherencia Universitaria.

Mi acusacion era basicamente la siguiente: COHERENCIA SE POSTULA, UTILIZANDO A JOVENES DE BUENAS INTENCIONES PARA MANEJARLOS Y AL FINAL QUE UNA CUPULA “VIEJA” SE BENEFICIE DE LA PLATA DEL GREMIO ESTUDIANTIL. Para ello mencione por ejemplo el caso de URBAN CIRCLE, promotora de eventos del Secretario General (Presidente a fin de cuentas) de Coherencia Universitaria, Eduardo Valderrama, que misteriosamente seria una empresa contratada para la organizacion de distintos eventos dentro del gremio estudiantil, especialmente en centros federados en donde los aliados de Coherencia ganaron.

Hoy por hoy, estas acusaciones mias y de muchos otros entre ellos el camarada JL, se demuestran fundadas. LA ENCERRONA DE DERECHO, evento de gran magnitud y de gran inversion, ha recaido en las manos del GRAN CASTOR VALDERRAMA. y su productora.  Asi como el FIU-Frente de izquierda universitario, regalo la organizacion de la FIESTA DE LETRAS 2009 tambien a la productora del presidente de Coherencia Universitaria, su movimiento aliado.

¿Que sucede cuando alguien de un partido (peor si es el presidente) gana licitaciones para construir puentes o carreteras directamente en el Peru? SE LE LLAMA CORRUPCION!  1. Porque por dignidad uno no deberia comerciar y ganar dinero con cargos politicos en donde esta 100% involucrado, y 2. Porque NO se han realizado licitaciones amplias que permitan que OTRAS PRODUCTORAS PARTICIPEN CON SUS PROPUESTAS!

¿Por que COHERENCIA lanza listas en Derecho, Estudios Generales Letras y Estudios Generales Ciencias, pues es simple: QUIERE ORGANIZAR LAS FIESTAS DE CACHIMBOS, DE FIN DE FINALES Y LA ENCERRONA DE DERECHO un año mas?!

N’y sont pas allés avec le dos de la cuiller

Well, you could never have convinced me, even just a few years ago, that I could have a very satisfying observing experience with nothing but a 60mm telescope  – especially when there’s  a full moon with perhaps 70 % cover of drifting cirrus/stratus clouds! But I just observed for over an hour last night. And I followed up with two hours this morning – moon still full, but no obvious clouds, just some high haze. It was wonder full.

Major thing learned? In a word – context!

I’ve frequently pushed context as important, which is why I want folks to look through binoculars or a smaller telescope at low power before stepping up to the 15-inch. But what I have never encountered before is the context that can be provided by moonlight. This first hit me last night when I turned the little scope on Jupiter and at 40X found I had a nice view of the planet, it’s four bright moons, and the leaves of a foreground tree! It was the tree, of course, that provided a unique context. Sure, we’ve all seen Jupiter with our naked eye near some foreground object -  a building, or mountain, or whatever.  It was the impact of seeing it magnified with the foreground object clearly lit by the moonlight that gave me the unique experience. And yes, the fact that I was using a small scope at low power with a correspondingly wide field of view certainly helped.

That experience was repeated this morning when I looked at  the Pleiades at 15X as the branches of a nearby cedar reached up to enwrap them.  Tennyson’s fireflies became tiny Christmas tree lights, tangled in the branches. Context?  Yes – the branches were about 40 feet away, the Pleiades about 400 light years! Nice thought to tickle your mind.

And  I had entirely forgotten about Mars and the Beehive. But near the end of the morning I turned the little scope towards Mars and here was a different sort of context, not aided by the moonlight, but not diminished by it either.  At 40X the planet revealed a small disc as it nibbled at the edges of the star cluster in which I quickly counted 60 stars visible under these conditions in this small scope. So now I had Mars, perhaps 10 light minutes away at that moment, playing dodge ball in a star cluster roughly 600 light years away. Nice!

All of which I think makes the point that you can not only have an essential astronomy experience with a small scope, but you can actually expand your experiences breaking new ground. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not recommending everyone switch to small scopes. And I’m not at all certain they’re a good idea for beginners. All I’m saying is that for me using a small scope offers some special advantages that move me closer to  my essential goal of experiencing the universe. Perhaps the key is it’s a machine that is of a size I can easily accept and incorporate as an extension of my eye. In any event, three hours of use were filled with several highlights, including, in chronological order:

• Splitting the Double Double in Lyra at 144X using a 2.5mm Nagler eyepiece. The split was clean and steady, which also says something about the seeing last night and got me off to a great start.
• Picking out the Ring Nebula – M57 – at 40X. Hard to believe this is larger than Jupiter in angular size, but I’ll leave careful examination for a darker night.
• Splitting Albireo – easy, of course, even at 15X, but real nice at 40X.
• Capturing the Coathanger cluster with plenty of room to spare using the 24mm Panoptic.
• Splitting Almach – Gamma Andromeda – at 40X. The gold of th =e brighter star has more orange in it than the gold of Albireo’s primary.
• Examining the full moon with plenty of space around it – again, the 9mm Nagler at 40X gave a real nice perspective,

And in the morning:

• Splitting Castor, high overhead, with a 5mm Nagler delivering 72X. The fainter of the two companions was, well, quite faint.
• Splitting Rigel about as well as I have ever seen it split in any scope – no kidding. This is a challenge star. Again, 5mm was used, as well as 2.5mm.
• Context came into play again, this time all in the sky, as I took a wide field view of the Great Orion Nebula. The 13mm (28X) gave such a view, yet enough power to split the Trapezium – charming!
• Mintaka split in the 24mm at 15X which gave a wonderful view of Orion’s Belt with plenty of breathing room around it.
• Fainter star clusters like M35 did not fare as well, diminished by both the small objective and the moonlight. I look forward to seeing them under dark skies, though.
• Only real frustration came in trying to track down W Orionis, a carbon star. I think I eventually did, but I need to go back and make my own charts so it isn’t such a challenge in the future.

Bottom line – wow! This was fun. Of course, being seated in a rolling office chair in the observatory while using the little scope on the massive (for it) Universal Astronomic T-Mount certainly helped!

estos días de recolección de firmas, de preparación de candidaturas y frustración de otras han ocurrido algunos sucesos que vale la pena comentar. El otro me vengo a enterar que la candidata a presidente de la FEPUC, Martha Tula Ramos, ex-REA, tuvo algunos altercados con algunos personajes de bajo instinto.

La democracia, hasta donde yo tenía entendido se basaba en el respeto a las iniciativas personales que enriquecieran el debate, mostraran una competencia plural y permitiera a los electores resolver sus dudas en base a las opciones que recibe. Esto quiere decir que no existe límite alguno para que alguien postule, no se exige estar en el tercio superior, ni tener maestrías, tampoco se requiere experiencia gremial, simplemente cumplir con aquellos requisitos señalados por las normas.

No obstante, a la vuelta de la esquina aparece la auto-proclamada mujer de la experiencia, la siempre censurable Malú Machuca, que en virtud de su cargo de representante se acerco de una manera invasiva y desafiante a una alumna cuyo único y terrible error fue querer algo distinto de su gremio y en ejercicio de sus derechos busco postular. Se le acuso verbalmente de no estar preparada, se le advirtió que le iría mal y que no sabía con quién se estaba metiendo. En pocas palabras agredió moralmente a una estudiante de a pie con aspiraciones y voluntad de servicio. Como dijo la misma Martha, nadie nace siendo presidente, pero el cargo existe y alguien tiene que asumirlo. Muchos nos pasamos una vida entusiasmando a otros que tomen conciencia y se lancen con ideas al ruedo. Entre tanta apatía, una chica quiso hacerlo, pero fue maltratada por una de sus propios representantes.

Por si no fuera poco, luego un segundo individuo se le acerco y sin presentarse, fue directo a la yugular. De una manera amenazante (de acuerdo a lo comentado por Martha), le advirtió que no sabia con quien se estaba metiendo y que no sabia que le podía pasar. Muchos andan señalando que hacer alianzas, lanzarse con diferentes nombres y convocar a independientes es jugar sucio, pero no hay nada más sucio que el proceder antes descrito. No hay nada más mafioso que la forma en que algunos pseudo-experimentados se andan comportando en estos días. Lo más triste es que dicha conducta viene de una consejera universitaria, que hoy ha descendido a la cloaca, supongo para acompañar a sus ideas.

Ahora con respecto al segundo sicario enviado por Dios sabe quién, probablemente venga de los mentores de Coherencia, alguno de esos dinosaurios o muertos vivientes, que hacen del mundillo político PUCP su lotería personal.

Ahora conocemos hasta donde están dispuestos a llegar estos politiqueros. Como veían dificultoso un posible triunfo de Coherencia este año, decidieron moverse y hacer lo que sea. En la PUCP, no existe el fair-play y la amenaza es el único sustento lógico para la izquierda y sus aliados.

¿Que dira Malu “Matona” Machuca, Eduardo “Al Capone” Valderrama, y Renato ”Titere” Constantino, sobre las acciones MAFIOSAS Y MATONESCAS de sus organizaciones?

COHERENCIA UNIVERSITARIA BORRO SU PAGINA WEB EN LAMULA.PE

¿La Razon? Eliminar evidencias de que SON UN MOVIMIENTO, o pretenden serlo. Quieren pasar como si fueran un grupo de amigos interesados por la PUCP, cuando en realidad son una organizacion politica, jeje en este caso CON FINES DE LUCRO.

La Mesa Directiva en cuestion tiene a muchos personajes conocidos ya en la vida politica PUCP, veamos a quienes quizo ocultar IN- Coherencia Universitaria:

EDUARDO VALDERRAMA (Presidente de Coherencia Universitaria)

Eduardo es un asiduo visitante esta tribuna  http://lacombi.wordpress.com en donde se caracteriza por ser el escudero politico de Coherencia Universitaria. Obviamente es el PADRE FUNDADOR y cabeza poderosa en ese grupusculo.

Tiene como antecedentes haber estado en cuanta postulacion hubo en sus epocas mozas cuando la gente aun creia en el. Hasta que entro al CF de Derecho, y comenzo a decaer la administracion del mismo organo. Alli despues de su gestion junto a JAVIER LUNA, aprendio que ORGANIZAR FIESTAS DE CACHIMBOS Y ALMUERZOS eran muy rentable, y estos no pasan por revision alguna: SOLO POR LOS MIEMBROS DE LA MESA DIRECTIVA. Por lo que decidio crearse una empresita para organizar estos eventos.

Desde alli, el bicho politico le pica aun mas, y organiza todos los años candidaturas (muchas victoriosas) en Derecho, Letras y FEPUC. Tambien a la Asamblea Universitaria, pero ahi le va peor. Organiza listas, que ganan para que luego TODOS GANEN organizando eventos para los distintos centros federados con su empresa URBAN.

No solo es recordado por la vinculacion ECONOMICA, sino tambien por la vinculacion academica. Que obviamente esta mucho mas desprestigiada, es un estudiante ingresado con el codigo 2000, que decidio en derecho repetir, jalar cursos, y mantener una que otra carta de permanencia para SEGUIR VIVO EN LA POLITICA PUCP.

SERGIO GIANNOTI

No lo conosco pero, he visto como trabaja en campaña: perdio para las elecciones REA siendo el principal candidato de Coherencia Universitaria. Era su unica carta para el Consejo Universitario, por lo que al no entrar, mato la posibilidad de que Coherencia tenga un consejero.

Es miembro de la MD de Coherencia, y es joven en politica, felicito su ingreso para dar renovados aires a la VIEJA POLITICA que encarna Coherencia.

Supuestamente queria organizar eventos, crear foros de discusion sobre la eleccion del rector, promover mejores condiciones para los estudiantes, apoyar al sindicato… ¿Y QUE HIZO? PUES NADA HASTA AHORA. Nada mas que utilizar a la oficina de la federacion como nido de amor, y centro de reuniones. Nada mas que utilizar las maquinas de la FEPUC para lanzar volantes con sus numeros el dia de las elecciones a la REA. Nada mas que criticar anonimamente desde las computadoras de la FEPUC los blogs de Martin, Juan Luis y el mio. Nada mas que comer uno que otro sanguchito con el dinero de la FEPUC.

Y despues de todas estas OBRAS, se lanza como candidato a la presidencia de la federacion. ¡QUE TAL CONCHA! Hijito: Haz tenido 1 año para hacer cosas, ¿porque no las haz hecho?

Estos dias han sido muy importantes para conocer el caracter SUCIO e INCOHERENTE de la actual federacion de estudiantes. Coherencia Universitaria, ha iniciado una serie de ataques y desprestigios contra disntintas listas opositoras a la FEPUC, incluida la nuestra.

Quienes estamos en esto queremos sumar y no restar, vemos como quienes se OPONEN A COHERENCIA UNIVERSITARIA, son atacados por blogs anonimos que ademas usan expresiones y formas verbales similares a las utilizadas por Renato Constantino y compañia. Campaña sucia que se opone totalmente a la mentira con que convencen a nuevos miembros: coherencia politica. ¿Acaso es coherente atacar a todos quienes piensan diferente? ¿Acaso es coherente hacer guerra sucia por internet? ¿Acaso es coherente mentir descaradamente y querer destruir honras?

Coherencia Universitaria al parecer solo es coherente con su imperativo categorico: TENER MAS PODER. Por eso, esta organizando listas de Coherencia Universitaria en Derecho, Estudio Generales Ciencias y Estudios Generales Letras. ¿Sabran estos jovenes que van a ser utilizados para copar el aparato gremial? ¿Sabran que los estan utilizando para que algunos señores de coherencia universitaria GANEN PODER Y DINERO? EL COPAMIENTO PARECE SER SINONIMO DE COHERENCIA UNIVERSITARIA.

Señores ustedes se quejaron de la gente como yo y como Juan Luis, porque participamos en politica, pero ustedes NO VEN EL ASCO QUE SON, LA SUCIEDAD QUE TIRAN CON VENTILADOR Y COMO DESTRUYEN A LA POLITICA GREMIAL!

LA GUERRA SUCIA YA EMPEZO! Asi es como juega Coherencia Universitaria, en lugar de inscribir su lista y defender su PESIMA gestion al mando de la federacion de estudiantes, prefiere atacar a sus adversarios politicos. No me sorprenderia que un resucitado blog, comience a atacar tambien la candidatura de Vanguardia Universitaria.

En REVOLUCION FEPUC, sabemos que este actuar tipico de algunos elementos mayores de ese grupusculo denominado Coherencia Universitaria, es crear blogs, y hablar mal. Inventar entre otras cosas todas las que pudieron decir de mi y del camarada JL desde hace años, simplemente porque NO COINCIDIMOS CON SU POLITIQUERIA DE MUERTOS DE HAMBRE, que se mueren por vivir de la FEPUC para seguir comiendo sanguches gratis, o tomando cocacolas en central pagadas por la federacion, o controlando “pseudo politicos pucp” mononeuronales, o quizas aprovechandose GANANDO MISTERIOSAMENTE LA ORGANIZACION DE EVENTOS!

NO SEÑORES! CURIOSOS, OTORONGOS, MALAS LENGUAS! CON NOSOTROS NO CUENTEN! YA ME LO HICIERON EL AÑO PASADO Y ESTA VEZ LA GENTE NO LO VA A CREER! Como tampoco lo creyo, cuando ingrese a la REA o al consejo de sociales.

PORQUE AVANZAMOS!

VAMOS A REVOLUCIONAR A LA FEPUC!

Como es de conocimiento publico, ya empezo la semana de presentacion de candidaturas para Centros Federados y para la FEPUC- Federacion de Estudiantes de la PUCP.

Hasta donde me ha llegado existirian 3 candidaturas fijas: la de REVOLUCION PUCP, la que encabezo en formula con Juan Luis Denegri, la de VANGUARDIA UNIVERSITARIA, que encabezaria Oscar Escalante, y finalmente la de COHERENCIA UNIVERSITARIA, la que encabezaria Renato Constantino.

Tambien en los centros federados se barajan nombres. Tal parece que en EE.GG.CC la actual secretaria de la federacion Gisela Aviles estaria armando una lista para sumarle votos a su amigo Renato Constantino. Esta lista en EEGGCC seria otra de las listas aliadas al Castor. ¿Con que cara la señorita esta quiere postularse como presidenta si en la FEPUC no ha hecho NADA? Es una burla, porque a mi me hicieron TODO un problemon por postular, pero los INCOHERENTES no tienen problemas en postular a una candidata que lo unico que ha hecho es ir al concierto de los hermanos Yaipen.

Presentar a Renato tampoco seria un gran que. Porque su principal propuesta la REFORMA ESTATUTARIA, la defensa universitaria y el tema del DELEGADO DE CURSO, no han sido su prioridad. Lo que ha sido su prioridad es utilizar la oficina de la FEPUC para sus encuentros amorosos  con la que ademas de ser su coordinadora es tambien su enamorada! Tema denunciado en este blog a inicios de año. Su olvido a permitido que la VOZ de los estudiantes NO SE OIGA en todo el año!

Creo que los castores deberian pensar mejor en lo que hacen, si es que esta informacion que me ha llegado es cierta. Al parecer tambien podrian pensar en ceder la FEPUC 2010 a sus aliados Accion Critica y Frente de Izquierda, pero con la PESIMA GESTION EN EEEGGLL de este ultimo, la estarian pensando. EL FIU DEBE AUN CERVEZAS A CACHIMBOS, ASI COMO LA FIESTA DE LOS CACHIMBOS DEL CICLO PASADO, Sigrid Bazan, su presidenta se ha dedicado al igual que Constantino a caminar de la mano de su “amor” antes que ponerse los pantalones y REACTIVAR la politica en EEGGLL.

CON QUE CARA ME CRITICARON! SI AL FINAL HICIERON PEORES COSAS QUE YO! LA HIPOCRECIA, LA MENTIRA Y SOBRETODO LA INCOHERENCIA ESTA EN SUS CORAZONES Y EN SUS ACCIONES!

El año pasado en las elecciones FEPUC, el grupo COHERENCIA UNIVERSITARIA, se presento a si mismo como el grupo de los proyectos solidos, de la acción y de la proactividad. Su lema inclusive se titulaba “El castor tiene las herramientas”.

A más de 7 meses de su gestion nos damos cuenta que los castores solo entraron a la FEPUC para roer sus cimientos y finalmente MATARLA. Esto se observa claramente en la NULA actividad desplegada en el segundo ciclo, y las pocas cosas hechas en el primer ciclo. La ineficiente inversion en proyectos o en eventos, ha hecho que la FEPUC 2009 pase desapercibida tanto por estudiantes como por representantes de nuestra universidad.

No se ha promovido fuertemente la REFORMA DEL ESTATUTO FEPUC, reforma necesaria para obtener mayor eficiencia y mejor organizacion acorde con nuestros tiempos. No se han PRESENTADO PUBLICAMENTE BALANCES, ni siquiera virtuales. No se ha apoyado a nuestros representantes como es debido: no ha habido apoyo a los deportistas, ni a quienes han representado a la PUCP en distintos certamenes internacionales de debate y ciencias politicas. No se ha convocado AMPLIAMENTE A QUIENES TIENEN MUCHO POR APORTAR: no se ha convocado a los miembros de equipu y demas asociaciones, sino que se ha promovido el SECTARISMO Y EL AMIGUISMO.

Digan lo que digan, los CASTORES IN-COHERENTES, no han llevado a cabo su PLAN DE TRABAJO, tampoco ha  realizado eventos que beneficien realmente al estudiantes, ni siquiera han consolidado un verdadero plan de proyeccion social universitaria, ni mucho menos han podido emprender reformas en beneficio del gremio. POR ESTO, EN EL 2009, EL CASTOR MATO A LA FEDERACION.

UNA MAS DEL CASTOR!

Segun lo denunciado por el camarada m. la FEPUC 2009 y sus aliados (Alan Sanchez, fiscal FEPUC, Accion Critica, Frente de izquierda y Reforma Derecho, actual CF de Derecho), estan limitando la COMPETENCIA para rotarse los cargos en la MD FEPUC.

¿Que pretenden los miembros de Coherencia Universitaria, Accion Critica y Frente de Izquierda, y obviamente, un fuerte grupo de miembros de la Junta de Fiscales? MENOS CANDIDATURAS. En LA COMBI, nosotros apostamos por liberalizar los requisitos para postulacion a nuestra federacion. ¿Acaso ser medio superior es garantia de mejor actuar, acaso ser consejo de facultad te impide ser miembro de la MD FEPUC, acaso ser catolico, o mujer, o discapacitado es motivo de discriminacion? LA FEPUC DEBE SER DE TODOS Y PARA TODOS. Los unicos destinados a negar candidaturas, deben ser los propios estudiantes con su voto!

¿Se olvido el señor Ricardo Sifuentes, el señor Renato Constantino, la señorita Gisela Aviles, que pretendieron postular a KENETH MARCA como candidato a Secretario de Vida Universitaria? Tal como lo digo, la FEPUC 2009 de Coherencia Universitaria tenia como candidato a un alumno de codigo 2004 que para el 2008 aun seguia en Estudios Generales Letras, con distintas cartas de permanencia, con promedio 08 y ademas sancionado por PLAGIO en u trabajo de psicologia.

QUE INCOHERENTE LA FEPUC DEL CASTOR, Y QUE INCOHERENTES SUS ALIADOS, PARA ADEMAS PRETENDER LIMITAR PUESTOS CUANDO ELLOS MISMOS QUISISERON METER A ALGUIEN TAN MALTRATADO POR LO “ACADEMICO”.

Desde esta humilde tribuna, invito a la Junta de Fiscales incluyendo al fiscal FEPUC  a promover el dialogo y la LIBERTAD, flexibilizando los requisitos a los 2 primeros: Ser miembro de la FEPUC y NOHABER SIDO SANCIONADO.

Solo la verdadera LIBERTAD nos hara LIBRES.

Muitas novidades, mas pouco tempo para fazer um post completo…

Bem,  resumindo, como eu ja havia dito, além da coleção, pretendemos apresentar uma roupa conceito no Desfile que a Uniritter irá patrocinar aos alunos de Design de Moda.

A temática segue a mesma, Estilos Musicais. E a nossa escolha foi Musica Eletrônica.

Após algumas pesquisas de materiais e matérias-primas,  concordamos em criar uma malha toda de fios elétricos. Mas como iríamos tecer isso? Resolvemos montar um tear de madeira e prender em seus respectivos lugares os fios de trama e de urdume (exatamente a mesma técnica do tear original, mas de estrutura mais simples).

Usamos uma serra circular Bosch GKS 7 1/4″ para cortar as madeiras e uma plaina para os detalhes nas cantoneiras, fechamos tipo esquadria e fizemos alguns furinhos para prender os fios.

Para que essa malha de fios tenha maior sustentabilidade ao corpo, escolhemos um ponto contínuo e mais fechado, tipo tafetá (o qual trama e urdume se cruzam ponto a ponto, alternadamente). Iniciamos as experimentações com fios de lã nas cores CMYK que tinhamos em estoque. Tivemos a idéia de criar um padrão quadriculado. Em cima disto, fizemos a sequência de cores  correta e o resultado deu certo!

O difícil mesmo é escolher a espessura do fio… Tecemos algumas amostras, mas os pontos estão ficando muito tensionados com o passar do fio da trama. Acho que teremos de pensar em outras maneiras de produzir isso…
