Many of you are quite familiar with the Nipperts and their beautiful books An Alphabet of Catholic Saints and soon to be released, An Alphabet of Mary.  Additionally, the Nipperts have an amazing collection of CDs and artwork which offer the Catholic home educator and catechist an incredible resource of Catholic clipart, printables and posters.  Personally, I’m quite picky when it comes to how the saints, our Lord and Lady are depicted in children’s art.  As I told Mr. Nippert:  there’s a fine line between charming and cartoonish.  The Nipperts artwork is nothing but charming and infinitely appealing to this home educator.

Our conversation, while infinitely entertaining and full of good spirits, was also to obtain an end:  the removal of the links for the Pocket Stations of the Cross.  Mr. Nippert has explained that the Stations were originally made available to subscribers of Catechist magazine.  Although the pages are not marked as such, they were to be available to subscribers only.  He currently has a contract with this publication and has stated that perhaps, once that contract has expired, he will once again be able to provide a link through Catholic Family Vignettes, to this resource to help out home educating moms and dads.
