A Escola Técnica Estadual de Cubatão (ETEC) foi palco, na manhã desta sexta-feira, 13, do terceiro painel de apresentação de projetos do Programa Geração Muda Mundo por um Futuro Ideal, uma parceria da Ashoka Empreendedores Sociais e o Instituto Camargo Corrêa na cidade. Cubatão é a primeira cidade da Baixada Santista a participar do Programa.

Com dez minutos de apresentação, os grupos Aliados do Futuro, Mão na Massa, Esporte Total, Esquadrão Trance, Dança de Rua com Arte e Educação, Ação Criança Arte Vida Viva, Bom de Bola e Ritmo Quente apresentaram propostas. O esporte e a dança foram colocados como de suma importância por mais de um grupo, além de melhorias para as comunidades e as pessoas, como, por exemplo, reconstrução de praças, conscientização sobre gravidez e doenças sexualmente transmissíveis (DST). A meta é oferecer até R$ 1.200,00 a cada projeto apoiado, de modo a que esses grupos de jovens possam dar partida à realização de seus sonhos.

Ao término da exposição, os avaliadores Deise Raduan (gestora de educação ambiental pela Secretaria do Estado de Meio Ambiente), Karina Freitas (diretora da Secretaria de Assistente Social – Semas), Robson Martins (responsável pela Fábrica da Comunidade), Sylvia Vieira (assessora de comunicação da Carbocloro), Rodrigo Montaldin (coordenador do Programa de Jovens), Carla Bonatti (representante da empresa Cavo de Curitiba), Leonardo Giardini (coordenador administrativo e financeiro da empresa Camargo Corrêa) e Welington Ribeiro Borges (chefe da divisão de biblioteca e arquivo histórico) colocaram questionamentos sobre os temas propostos pelos jovens.

Ao todo, dez organizações parceiras contribuem para que o evento ocorra: CAMP-Centro de Aprendizagem Metódica e Prática, Associação Unidos, Departamento da Criança e do Adolescente, Projeto Juventude, Programa Jovem, GLC-Grupo de Lazer e Cidadania, Rádio Comunitária Vila Esperança, Clube dos Desbravadores, Fórum da Juventude e Programa de Jovens da Biosfera. O trabalho no município é coordenado pela Fábrica da Comunidade, unidade da Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social. As empresas Cavo e Camargo Corrêa são as parceiras.

“Todo mundo pode mudar o mundo”, afirmou a coordenadora de parceria de implementação da “Geração MudaMundo”, Mafoane Odara Poli Santos. Ela explicou que a ideia é apoiar os jovens, ajudando-os a desenvolverem habilidades empreendedoras, a transformar os sonhos em ação, além de terem a oportunidade de conhecer pessoas, a trabalhar em equipe e fazer contatos”.

Trinta e dois projetos já foram apresentados em outros painéis. Com a intenção de promover mais, um em janeiro de 2010. Assim, este número pode chegar a 60 projetos, afirma a coordenadora, que espera contar com 300 alunos participantes em Cubatão.

St. Louis’ own chart-topper Cavo was set to hit Remmington’s Downtown on Tuesday (October 13), but the show has been moved to the Outland Ballroom. The show also features St. Louisans Brookroyal and Springfield’s own Glass Bottom Boat Ride. This reduced and capacity significantly. Un anno fa l’avevano fatto sul caval­cavia Monteceneri. Se quelli che ieri lo hanno rifatto non sono stati gli stessi li hanno comunque imitati molto be­ne: ancora un cavo d’acciaio teso di tra­verso sulla strada ad altezza uomo, an­cora un telo bianco appeso, ancora un rischio altissimo che qualcuno potes­se farsi molto male. E per fortuna, an­cora, che neppure questa volta è suc­cesso.

È accaduto ieri mattina verso le 8 e mezzo in viale Abruzzi, dove un grup­po di otto ragazzi con le facce coperte da cappucci o cappellini ha appunto fissato un cavo metallico tra un albero e un palo, da un lato all’altro della stra­da: poi sul cavo hanno appeso un telo, poi davanti al telo hanno acceso dei fu­mogeni, poi sono scappati. Certo, era tutto molto «visibile».

Ma una macchi­na o peggio ancora una moto con un conducente distratto avrebbero potu­to restare falciate come niente. I pas­santi hanno subito chiamato la polizia che ha mandato una Volante a blocca­re la strada. Le indagini ovviamente sono in cor­so, vedremo cosa avranno «visto» le telecamere di zona.

Nel frattempo è stata solo fatta notare la coincidenza per cui proprio ieri mattina era fissato il processo legato alla sorveglianza speciale di un ragazzo della cosiddetta «sinistra antagonista»: alcuni amici del quale sarebbero i presunti autori del gesto analogo compiuto l’anno scorso. Qualcuno lo collegò alle prote­ste allora in corso contro i tagli all’uni­versità, anche per lo slogan che era identico a quello dei cortei: «Se non cambierà blocchiamo la città». Anche i ragazzi di ieri rischiano una denun­cia per attentato alla sicurezza dei tra­sporti.

Breaking Benjamin just announced a small slew of tour dates including one in Springfield, MO on December 6. They’re touring in support of their latest release, “Dear Agony.” These guys are no strangers to Springfield and are Rockfest vets so be ready for one hell of a party. More info…

Breaking Benjamin will be hitting the Shrine Mosque on Sunday, December 6th. This show is all ages. Joining Breaking Benjamin will be Rev Theory, Veer Union, and Adelitas Way. Rev Theory has played Springfield a number of times and has hype behind some of their latest radio singles. Veer Union was set to play the last Sick Puppies show, but had to cancel due to the singer straining a few vocal chords. Tickets aren’t on sale yet, but be on the lookout on metrotix.com.

Keep in mind, we have some other really big shows coming to the Shrine Mosque. Tix are on sale now for Bob Dylan, Lamb of God and Gwar, and Chevelle and Halestorm…as well as the Cavo show at Remmington’s Downtown.

Cavo’s hotly anticipated major-label debut, Bright Nights * Dark Days is out TODAY. Produced by David Bendeth (Breaking Benjamin, Paramore, All Time Low), the album includes the tracks “Let It Go” from the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen soundtrack, and “Champagne,” their chart-topping debut single. Foram 134 voluntários, entre funcionários, terceiros, familiares e amigos que passaram o domingo na Creche Vila Nova Jaguaré, pintando o muro, plantando mudas, preparando alimentos e divertindo bastante as mais de 400 crianças e moradores da comunidade que passaram por lá.
 
O espírito de equipe, a cooperação e o empenho de todos tornou possível: a adequação da área externa para receber crianças, a construção de um pergolado, a pintura do muro da escola, a colocação de grades para evitar invasões e a doação de brinquedos novos, jogos educativos e CDs infantis.

No próximo dia 16, as unidades da Camargo Corrêa Cimentos se comprometeram com a causa, criaram comitês e estão prontas para o Dia do Bem Fazer. Confira abaixo um breve descritivo das ações que serão realizadas:

Apiaí: Comitê “Faça o bem e passe adiante!” – irá realizar reparos e reformas no CEMAE (Centro Municipal de Atendimento Especializado), escola de educação especial que atende todos os tipos de deficiências (mental, visual, auditiva, física entre outras) no município e região.

Jaguaré: O Comitê do Jaguaré, em parceria com a CAVO investiu em ações de melhorias na creche Vila Nova Jaguaré. Visando o aprimoramento educacional das crianças, ações como a melhoria do espaço ao ar livre, recuperação da estrutura, implantação de um novo playground e criação de área verde e área coberta foram realizadas antes mesmo da data. No dia 16, o comitê realizará pintura nos muros, plantio de mudas, recreação infantil e preparação e distribuição de alimentos e bebidas.

Suapé: com sete integrantes, o comitê irá beneficiar a Ampare (Associação dos Pais, Amigos e Responsáveis pelas Crianças Vivendo com HIV/Aids do Município do Cabo). Todas as crianças da instituição passarão o dia no SESI do Cabo de Santo Agostinho, para participar de várias atividades recreativas, incluindo teatro, cama elástica e piscina com bolinhas. Além disso, receberão brinquedos, oriundos de uma campanha realizada pela unidade.

Pedro Leopoldo: denominado “Mãos do Bem” o comitê da unidade irá trabalhar em ações ligadas aos projetos do Programa Infância Ideal. Entre as atividades ligadas ao projeto “Formação de Profissionais da Educação Infantil”, vale destacar a melhoria na estrutura de 12 creches da região, por meio de atividades de pintura, construção de canteiros e hortas, instalações elétricas, de grades em janelas, conserto de portas, reforma de parquinhos, pinturas com desenhos infantis, montagens e fixação de bancos entre outras.

Jacareí: a unidade formou um comitê com sete profissionais, que definiram a Creche Centro de Convivência Brasil – Japão, que cuida de 100 crianças de 4 meses até 5 anos de idade, como a instituição a ser beneficiada.O projeto instituído na creche foi denominado “É brincando que se aprende”. A instituição será reformada e pintada.

Ijaci: a fábrica tem como foco para o Dia do Bem Fazer realizar ações voltadas para crianças de 0 a 6 anos de idade. Para tanto, será reformada a antiga creche da cidade, Entidade São Francisco de Assis, que faz parte do Projeto Infância Ideal, e construída uma “brinquedoteca” para a comunidade. O Instituto Camargo Corrêa irá auxiliar financiando o projeto.

Bodoquena : a escola João Batista Pacheco para o Dia do Bem Fazer receber. A ação conta com a Associação dos Veteranos, Secretarias Municipais, Prefeitura, comércio local, profissionais, parceiros e familiares. O prédio da escola passará por adequação e pintura. As demais atividades como de recreação e atendimento acontecerão em um clube esportivo, localizado ao lado da escola.

Santana do Paraíso: a fábrica irá doar cestas básicas para as famílias carentes de Santana do Paraíso, Ipaba e Hospital do Câncer de Ipatinga. Serão ainda realizadas atividades de recreação para as crianças da Casa Lar de Santana do Paraíso.

I have never considered myself a music snob, but I sure felt like one today. It’s not that this album was bad, it was just very common. Nearly every track sounded similar, and without anything to grab my attention, the album was forgettable. It was definitely not worth my time, but at least I walked away from the experience with that little bit of knowledge

Would I listen to this album again?

 No, not even if it was free.

Would I spend money on this album?

 Absolutely not.

Will I add any songs to my collection?

No.

So, thanks to the magic of Twitter, I know times and the exact chronological order of when things happened last night, which is always fantastic when re-capping such concerts. Here are some highlights of the night, with pictures and video.

The first band was Charm City Devils.

Stef, Alyssa, and I:

Drowning Pool came after that.

“Let the bodies hit the floor!”

Theory of a Dead Man was the next band.

Then I met the band Cavo thanks to Nate, and we talked to them and got posters.

I got a free Monster there at the Monster tent, and they wouldn’t let me leave the tent with it. So I chugged the thing, because they started counting me off. I drank the entire Monster in ten seconds and everyone was amazed.

Godsmack went on next. Their strobes were off for one part of a song, which I noticed, but I’m sure nobody else did.

At this point, we snuck up closer (from lawn to the seats).

All we had to do was wait until the guy was distracted and go through a small opening between the gate and the pillar thing. We got through and it was fantastic. We watched as all these adults tried to do it and get caught, and several of them walked around once they got in checking over their shoulders and being extremely obvious. And one guy got in a fight with the female security guard.

Then, Godsmack played Voodoo. It was a good time for us to be closer.

“I’m not the one who’s so far away when I feel the snake bite enter my veins!”

The drummers did an insane drum battle. It was intense. Several times they threw their sticks up at least 20 feet in the air, caught them, and kept playing. It was fantastic.

Sound-check began for Mötley Crüe.

For some reason, the guitarist played a few seconds of The Itsy Bitsy Spider.

So Mötley Crüe was awesome. They opened with Dr. Feelgood:

They played Rattlesnake Shake, which was odd. There were dancing strippers on stage, of course.

Kickstart My Heart was awesome. It is one of those songs that belongs in a stadium, played loud, with the crowd screaming the, “Ohhh, yeahhh! Kickstart my heart, give it a start, ohhhh yeahhhh babaaayyy!”

We left a bit early to make sure we could actually get out, but it was fantastic.

I’ve been a transformer fans since childhood kaya when they release the movie version of “The Transformer” isa ako sa mga unang pumila sa sinehan.  The movie was great and as expected one thing I admired in the movie is how they use music in some scenes specially in telling jokes (with bumble bee).

The “Transformer, Revenge of the Fallen” uses the same method on having music na lalong nagpapaganda sa mga eksena.
