On my coffee table to read: Daryl Gregory’s The Devil’s Alphabet and Celine’s Journey to the End of the Night.

Now that’s all great stuff (well, the books at least–we’ll see about the movie). But for Thanksgiving break, I think some humor might be in order, so my thanks to Chris Roberson, who tweeted about this sweet little video.

Celine by Phoebe Philo

The new Phoebe Philo’ Celine collection just run the catwalk.

You can see very clearly so many different influences as: Montana, YSL, Calvin Klein and Armani.

Looks like a deja vu collection.

When Celine sold her brand years ago she supposed to stay as adviser but after few month she and her husband was invited to leave the atelier.

The same history in all the other brands.

Why instead Celine by Phoebe Philo they just  don’t do Phoebe by Phoebe Phylo.

My last post stated my somewhat frustration with Michael Kors’s dogged determination to take over the world. As it stands, my opinion doesn’t count and he’s not stopping anytime soon.

Mr. Kors latest takeover is located on 667 Madison Avenue, once the storefront to Parisian fashion designer Celine and now the fashion playground for Michael Kors and all his fashion sub-lines.

The new store is 2,500 square feet much like his Chicago store, and SoHo lifestyle boutique.

Mr. Kors obviously knows how to turn a glum economy around, at least so it works tremendously in his favour.

I was flipping through Candy Pratts Price’s accessories report on style.com the other day and before I knew it I had dwindled her list of almost 500 bags, shoes and jewelry down to less than 40. Here’s what I liked best from Spring 2010 RTW.

I can’t get away from how much this color pops! Out of all the biggest and brightest, the blue stood out the most.

I really like the raw, chunky, asymmetrical look of the silver pieces, and the crumpled look of the gold bracelet.

Nu sitter Céline och jag på tåget till Linköping. Vi ska upp till Fagersta med Mormor och hälsa på Moster Lillemor.

Under helgen ska vi fördjupa oss i släkthistoria och också resa runt till olika “historiska” platser. Det ska bli väldigt roligt och jag tänker anteckna och fota för senare släktforskning.

Nu har jag precis torkat upp en halv flaska drickyoghurt som föll från lilla tågbirdet, ner i Cs och mitt knä för att sedan studsa ner på golvet… Många näsdukar gick det åt till saneringen…

Alltid ett äventyr att resa med barn!

Oliver plockade fram ansiktsfärgerna igen. Först sökte vi efter bilder på nätet men det var svårt att hitta några steg-för-steg instruktioner. Vi ska besöka biblioteket någon dag och se om vi kan hitta några bra böcker i ämnet.

Men det fanns några små bilder på asken där färgerna ligger och så här blev resultatet av Olivers första ansiktsmålning. Wow!

Katsui graduated from Central Saint Martins College after studying at Parsons The New School for Design. Yagi graduated from Doshisha University and Central Saint Martins College.
The brand, mintdesigns was launched in 2001. They have been in Tokyo Collection since ‘03 S/S. The awards they won include the Moet et Chandon New Designer’s Award in 2005. In 2007, mintdesigns garage store opened in Shibuya PARCO. They presented their collection in the 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT THIS PLAY! show. In 2008, they presented the opening show at São Paulo Fashion Week for ‘09 S/S. Both designers currently hold positions as guest professors at the Faculty of Art and Design at Osaka Seikei University. In 2009 they presented their collection at the Milano Salone TOKYO FIBER ‘09.Mint Designs turned out a dainty crop of dresses featuring details such as shimmery stripes, textured fabric and quirky graphics. One frock featured a darling print of tiny Charlie Chaplins, while another showcased circular cutouts along the sides.
