What a long, boring day… 3 long lessons with basically nothing to do.
Worst is the English C class I had in the afternoon, I have to write an academic paper, 6 pages and I have no idea on how to start.
My topic is about how the evolution of martial arts of the 20th and now 21st century has gone.
But where to start, how to find and construct the information is the biggest mystery…I have no idea.

I wanna especially take up the topic about MMA and the UFC.
Personally, I am no fan of MMA, also known as mixed martial arts, and when I watch the UFC matches… I get like…what the fuck is this?

In my opinion MMA is nothing but brutes just pounding the living fuck out of one another with ruthless kicking and punching, and then they know some good wrestling moves on the ground…but nothing more, no technique, no dicipline and most importantly; no honour.
This isnt real martial arts, for there is no ART in this sport, or blood sport as I call it.
No, I prefer the traditional Wushu and all those other traditional east asian martial arts, which I feel is the true artforms of combat and selfdefense.

I would like to give a tip for a good movie; ‘Wushu’ from 2008 starring and directed by Sammo Hung, produced by Jackie Chan and introdcuing the rising wushu stars Wenjie Wang and Fengchao Liu, seen on the above pic with Jackie himself.
Great movie about a bunch of kids growing up at a wushu academy, learning about life and wushu when they ultimately must use their power to defeat evil.
It is kinda B, but the acting is good and very, very well choreographed, and the Wushu competition scenes are breathtaking.

佛菩薩真的是蠻慈悲的。她只是提醒了我們要注意五毒。而我對自己的覺察，我至少還有六毒與七毒。。

我的六毒是『懶毒』。

每當我起『懶心』動『懶念』的時候，就會自動地，豪不費力地，找出一大堆的藉口，來推脫，或否決我該圓滿的當下。『累了』,『沒空』，『再討論吧』，『需要嗎』，都可以不需考慮，理當氣壯地，自然反應。

我的『懶毒』，讓我錯過行功了業的機緣，進入另一個無盡的等待，延長了我已夠漫長的修行路。

我的第七毒，更是厲害。那是『不安毒』。

每當我起『不安』的時候，那些為了遮掩『不安』，而說出來的話，想到的方法，連我自己都會嚇一跳。

我的『不安毒』，包括『萬一』，『如果』，『假設』，『有可能』等等。

只要有那一絲一毫，一丁點的『不安』，立即就把心門關上，開一小縫與人溝通。。。先來試探試探別人的反應吧。。不要太曝露自己吧。。萬一。。。。所有的防預工作都立即上架。。避免受傷。。。

自然而然的就忘了，師父教導我們第九及第十大法印 — 心地光明磊落，智慧博大無邊。

不安毒，關閉了我的心門。『心即是佛』，也就因此檔住了我的佛，而不再相印，讓我步入了相中，陷入了無明的輪迴。

Vu sur le tableau de bord de mon tumblr. Je l’ai pas reblog la bas mais ici, parce que Bob me manque (je regardais les deux épisodes sur Teletoon. - Mais quand tu penses, tu le fais en quelle langue ?

L’année dernière, dans le salon. Mon père remarque que je tend l’oreille pour écouter maman qui discute avec Nany dans la cuisine (on a une maison avec très peu de murs) et en même temps continuer d’argumenter avec lui mon avis sur un sujet quelconque.

Il me pose la question et moi j’adore quand il y a un peu d’admiration dans ses yeux, j’adore quand il pense que j’ai le don incroyable d’etre trilingue. C’est a la fois flatteur et ridicule, parce que maintenant tout le monde peut être trilingue, regardez les p’tit suisses.

Je souris et lui dis que ca dépend, mais la plupart du temps je pense en français. Il me demande pourquoi cette préférence, pourquoi pas ma langue maternelle. Je lui dis que c’est parce que je trouve que le français est une très belle langue, a la fois riche et emmerdante.

J’aime le français pour ses conjugaisons, ses invariables, ses règles, ses exceptions, et tout les coups de putes grammaticaux qu’elle peut t’infliger. J’adorais les exercices qu’on nous faisait faire dans le bled ou la balle en CM2, j’adorais faire des fautes quand j’ecrivais des trucs simples mais avoir la note maximale en dictée.

La différence entre le français et le thaï,c’est que la première est une merveille pour l’écriture et que la seconde est juste insupportable a lire. Un exemple qui me froisse très souvent : les répétitions. Au collège, ma prof nous faisait faire des rédactions d’une copie double et si elle trouvait des répétitions elle les entourait et les reliait entre elles sur les deux pages. Cette prof est folle, et c’est un peu pour ca que je me suis inscrite a ses cours de latin. J’apprenais la racine d’une langue mourante avec une langue deja morte. C’est un peu comme demander a ta mamie de te parler de ses parents ; c’est super enrichissant. Tu te rends compte qu’en français on a quinze mots pour remplacer un seul, avec le but de faire quelque chose de fin, d’agréable a lire. En thaï c’est tout le contraire, un mot pour un mot au mieux et un mot pour 300 au pire.

Exemple : « ban dai » ca veut aussi bien dire « echelle » que « escaliers » que « escabot » que « escalator » c’est juste la notion de monter, après tu te démerdes pour savoir comme tu montes.

En thaï, on se contrefous des répétitions, tu peux écrire quinze mille fois le même mot, ca passera sans problème. C’est la principale raison pour laquelle je ne supporte plus de lire des textes en thaï (ca et le fait que tout les mots sont collés ensemble alafincestvraimenttresfatiguantpourlesyeuxetlecerveau) Pour eux c’est naturel, ca ne dérange personne et au final c’est de ma faute a moi si j’arrive pas a lire mes cours ; je suis trop attachée aux règles de français. J’ai horreur des répétitions, alors que eux c’est limite une règle pour qualifier les choses.

Exemple : « cette route est longue » un thaï va dire « Cette route est longue longue » En insistant sur l’adjectif, en le répétant, on le rend plus fort, plus conséquent, comme pour te dire que bordel j’te dis que c’est long tu comprends pas je te le répète. Imaginez ce que ca donne pour « Je voudrais bien une nouvelle coupe de cheveux jolie et tendance » Calculez une répétition par adjectif et vous saurez pourquoi je ne lis plus  de magazines.

Heureusement, a l’oral ca c’est un peu moins agaçant, et quelques fois vous pouvez même discerner sous ces tics beaucoup plus qu’une vérité. A l’intonation, a la façon de finir la phrase, au choix du mot a répéter, on devine plein de choses, et pour dire vrai je passe plus de temps a observer ca qu’a les écouter vraiment.

Exemple : un thaï vous raconte une histoire et vous lui demandez si c’est vrai « Jing ?» il vous répondra « Jing jing ! » au lieu de vous dire un simple oui. Vous pouvez donc être sur que son histoire est fausse. Tout comme en français on a des variantes de  « j’te jure » ou de « la vie de ma mère » pour ponctuer un récit plus ou moins exagéré.

On retrouve aussi ce même principe de répétition complètement inutile en chinois, mais en plus, avec les verbes. Ce qui donne les Ting tings.

La première chose que m’a apprise mon prof de thaï (a part des poèmes ignobles qui datent de mille ans dont tu ne comprends aucun mot) c’est que notre langue est une langue musicale. Avec cinq accents differents dans ta gueule, tu peux que le croire.

Exemple : si je vous écrit « Khai » vous le lirez « Khai » mais selon votre intonation ca donnera soit « Œuf » soit « Fièvre » soit « Ouvrir avec une clé » C’est pour ca que les touristes se font envoyer a l’epicerie quand ils veulent acheter de l’aspirine.

J’ai la chance (et le malheur) d’avoir une maman très bavarde, ce qui fait que je n’ai jamais perdu cette faculté auditive, même en France. Sinon je vous dis pas comment j’aurai galéré ici, dans le sud, ou les gens on un putain d’accent et déforme tout les mots comme ils le veulent, les remplacent ou crée des nouveaux et ponctuent les phrases de jurons (oui comme les marseillais)

Mais je vais pas dire que du mal, si je me suis donnée autant de mal a apprendre cette langue c’est pas seulement parce que c’est une partie de « l’héritage culturel de maman » comme disait l’autre. Si le français est une langue littéraire, le thaï est une langue très orale, qui fait qu’elle est magnifique quand elle est parlée.

Exemple : quand vous lisez « se blottir, se lover » vous avez tout de suite une sensation qui vient, quelque chose d’agreable. En thai plein de mots on rapport avec les sens, on dirait qu’ils ont etes crees par rapport a ce que tu dois ressentir une fois dits ou entendus.

Mais plus que ca, plus que tout, ce que j’aime c’est que c’est une langue affectueuse. Il y a des « na » qui terminent des phrases pour marquer une petit « s’il te plait » tout mignon. Il y a des « ja » qui veulent dire « oui » mais en plus tendre. Quand tu aborde quelqu’un dans la rue, selon son age, tu vas soit l’appeller « grand frère » soit « mon oncle » mais jamais, jamais « monsieur » Il y a une myriade de mots pour designer ce que représente chaque personne pour toi. Encore des exemples : comme je suis la plus âgée de ma classe, j’appelle tout mes camarades « mes enfants » je suis pas matriarche pour rien. Un femme appellera son mari « phi » parce que pour elle il est aussi son grand frère. Ma Nany m’appelait toujours « nou-Jenny » c’est un peu comme le « -chan » en jap. Autant de marques d’affection qui se transmettent dans les mots de tout les jours, dans chaque dialogue, et c’est un joli contraste quand on sait qu’ils sont trop pudiques pour dire des vrais « je t’aime »

J’ai pas expliqué tout ca a mon père, j’avais pas envie de partager ca avec lui. Déjà parce que je lui en veux pour plein de choses(le priver d’un peu de moi alors qu’il me connait a peine c’est ma seule arme) mais aussi parce que lui il aime la Thaïlande, moi pas. Je suis née ici mais c’est en France que j’ai grandi, que je me suis construite. L’excuse officielle de mon retour, de ma présence ici, c’etait pour récupérer le thaï écrit. Mais c’est pas vrai. Si j’avais eu le choix je n’aurai jamais choisi faire mes années de lycée sans mes amis. Je n’ai jamais accepté le fait qu’on me brise pour que je me reconstruise plus forte qu’avant. Je suis peut être reconnaissante mais je leur en voudrai toujours au fond. Même si aujourd’hui, le défi est relevé. Je sais lire et écrire parfaitement le thaï. Son alphabet a la con, ses 44 consonnes et ses 8 voyelles, ses mots formes de façon absurde, ses milliards de caractères collés les uns aux autres sans aucune ponctuation, je les ais maîtrises au prix de 3-4 mois d’etat larvaire, a réviser et pleurer sur mes bouquins dans ma chambre.

C’etait soit se taillader les veines soit réussir. J’etais reçue dans 3 écoles. J’ai fait mes 3 ans. Dans 3 mois je suis loin d’ici. Renaitre encore une fois.

Avoir réussi sans aucune aide, en étant seule ici, ca a fait que pour moi le thaï est ma plus grande victoire. Mais je l’associerai toujours a une période horrible de ma vie, c’est pour ca que je pense, je rêve, et je parle en français. Le français aura toujours le dessus.

Last year, in February of 2008 hsi father Charles Chan passed away, and the images of Jackie at his funeral brings tears to my eyes and pain to my heart, to see such a happy man so sad

One must only realize that the natural way of the world is that change is the greates truth of them all, as time and space is in constant motion; all life ends, so a new can begin.
To bare the emotion of grief and loss is another thing, we must just learn to accept.

I would also like to honour the great Jet Li, another icon of the modern world.
Not only is his martial arts and film work utmost impressive, but his engagement in philanthropy mainly through his ‘The One Foundation‘ is amazing!
An active Buddhist like myself, through his website he answers some very good questions thru his point of view based on Buddhist teaching but also through his own experience and opinion ( though not very updated anymore there are loads of great material there)

I was of the mind to let this topic slide until the next encounter …however…with the large feedback and some of the content of that said feedback I felt I should touch upon this briefly. Also having  heard from a few others on similar matters which redirected my thoughts back to this topic…I’m dong this for a couple of reasons. 1. No one is talking about this part of Kyudo…yet !  Everyone talks about how wonderful an art this is. and they are right! It is a wonderful Art, however like anything, formal Religion, Art, Politics, Sport, it is the whacked people behind these things, that put the bad slant on it. NOT ALL but enough that there is some taste of bitter and some are more sensitive let’s say than others to the taste. 2. From the comments I am guessing some people think that it is all abut me, I’m the only one seeing, feeling these things. WRONG! 3. Sometimes it is good to rock people’s world. wake them up. Like the wack the monk gives the mediators in Japanese Zen sittings to help them with their enlightenment. Perhaps the smell of this dirty laundry on front street will help with someone’s enlightenment.

There is a Go-Dan who is writing an article for Black Belt magazine. Some of the things I spoke about he is writing about, not the same thing, but in general. I wrote about my experience. I was asked what I thought about his article now after my experience. Do I still think he was too hard. I said, The article was good then, it is good now. However  my opinon had not changed on the modification I suggested. Which was to use more ” tack” on certain areas. Shaolin Tao is one of Compassion.

His words : “The sensei in Japan want you to learn, they want you to feel good about your training experience  and I feel they go out  of their way to make you feel welcome . Not in the United States”. This is a person who has trained here for many years.

Ok, here is another thought from a Go-Dan, a Renshi here in the states not from CA. ” I’m a believer that all forms of Kyudo polish the heart of the participant. Some people who have spent years walking the Way of the Bow seem to not understand any of this. Then again, I wonder, what would they be like if they had spent no time at all on the Path.”

There is another teacher, who is now considered a “Ronin” he was a senior member in the Zenko clan. This is due to no wrong doing on his part, but someone’s ego got all in a knot, perhaps behind some jealousy …

The moral of this: words from a Go-dan:

“You would think this group would not have politics like other martial arts groups with political problems. It does because we all are human and as long as we are human we will have ego “

One of the biggest challenges, evils, demons we face in this world is ourselves, our egos. This is our largest mountain to climb. I heard the other day at the Extreme Buddhist gathering, the Leader said. “We need our ego, to interact with the world. To do business, etc, etc. However we can not let the ego control us.”

I say, The ego it is a tool for us, we should not be it’s tool or it’s fool…

All this means, if you have a good teacher, be grateful, if you have a good practice, be grateful, Just becasue you are walkingin Sunshine does not mean there are no clouds somewhere. If you are struggling with your practice be grateful you are not alone and yours is not the only Dojo, seek out your spot, if you can not locally, there are things coming, developing, falling in place to help you walk the middle way of Compassionate Kyudo…BuddhaKyudo I’ll call it. (^_^)

2008 ISU Grand Prix şampiyonu Abbott, birinci olunca final yarışmasına katılma hakkını elde etti. Abbott, bu yarışmada sezonun en yüksek serbest program puanını aldı.

Abbott, “Amacım, dikkatimi programıma toplamaktı. Final meselesini aklıma getirmemeye çalıştım. NHK Trophy’den sonra programda bazı değişiklikler yaptık. Finale katılmamım mümkün olmayacağını düşünüyordum ama beni sevenlere hâlâ iyi bir program sunabildiğimi göstermek istiyordum” dedi.

Kısa programda ikinci, serbest programda birinci olan Japon Daisuke Takahashi, genel sıralamada ikinciliği elde etti ve gümüş madalya kazandı.

Teknik değerlendirmede 74.01 puan, bileşenler değerlendirmesinde de 81.00 puan alan Japon patencisi, toplam 155.01 bölüm puanıyla serbest programda birinci oldu. Kısa (34.30 üzerinden 39.20 + 37.10 = 76.30 puan) ve serbest program sonunda toplam 231.31 puan alan Takahashi, genel sıralamada ikinci oldu ve gümüş madalya kazandı.

Bu sezon en yüksek serbest program puanına ulaşan Japon patenci, teknik değerlendirmede, elemanlarının toplam temel değeri olan 70.31 üzerinden 74.01 puan aldı.

Dördüncü kez ISU Grand Prix finaline gitme hakkını kazanan Takahashi “Sonuçtan mutlu oldum ama performans benim açımdan iyi değildi çünkü dörtlü toeloop’u yapamadığım gibi spin ve adım dizilerinde de hatalarım oldu. Spinlerimi çalışmam ve zorluk derecelerini yükseltmem lâzım” dedi.

Kısa programda dördüncü, serbest programda üçüncü olan Fransız Alban Préaubert, genel sıralamada üçüncülüğe yerleşti ve bronz madalya kazandı.

Rolling Stones’un melodilerinden oluşan bir derleme üzerine hazırlanan serbest programını kayan Fransız patenci, üçlü flip-üçlü toeloop, üçlü axel-ikili toeloop ve ikili axel-ikili toeloop kombinasyonları ile üçlü axel ve dört adet daha üçlü atlayış yaptı.

Teknik değerlendirmede 70.18 puan, bileşenler değerlendirmesinde de 69.80 puan alan Fransız patenci, toplam 139.98 bölüm puanıyla serbest programda üçüncü oldu. Kısa (35.70 üzerinden 38.50 + 33.80 = 72.30 puan) ve serbest program sonunda toplam 212.28 puan alan Préaubert, genel sıralamada üçüncülüğü elde etti ve bronz madalya kazandı.

Fransız patenci, teknik değerlendirmede, elemanlarının toplam temel değeri olan 68.18 üzerinden 70.18 puan aldı.

Kendisi açısından sezonun en iyi serbest program puanına erişen Préaubert, “stratejim dörtlü toeloop denememe üzerine kuruluydu. Buna rağmen çok iyi bir sonuç aldım. Burada yarışan patencilerin üst düzeyde olmasından dolayı şeref kürsüsüne çıkabileceğimi düşünmüyordum” dedi.

Kısa programda üçüncü olarak herkesi şaşırtan Kazakistan’dan Denis Ten, serbest programda dokuzuncu olunca genel klasmanda yedinciliğe geriledi.

2009 Dünya ikincisi Kanadalı Patrick Chan, sezonun ilk yarışmasına çıktığı Skate Canada’da genel klasmanda altıncı olarak hayal kırıklığına uğradı. Chan, Grand Prix yarışmalarındaki en düşük derecesini yapmış oldu.

KISA PROGRAM

2009 ABD ve 2008 Grand Prix finali şampiyonu Abbott kısa programı 79.00 puanla birinci bitirirken bu sezon elde ettiği en puandan dört puan daha az bir skor elde etti.

Beatles’ın “A Day in the Life” şarkısı üzerine hazırlanan kısa programını sunan Abbott, üçlü flip-üçlü toeloop, üçlü lutz ve üçlü axel yaptı.

Abbott, “Kişisel nedenlerden ötürü benim için kolay olmadı. Bu hafta bir arkadaşım öldü. Onun anısı için kaydım” dedi.

2008 Dört Kıta şampiyonu Takahashi, Coba’nın “Eye” adlı eseri üzerine hazırlanan kısa programında üçlü flip-üçlü toeloop kombinasyonu, üçlü lutz ve üçlü axel yaptı ancak kombinasyonun ikinci atlayışı ikili olarak kabul edildiği puan kaybetti.

Takahashi, “Normal seviyemin yüzde 75’i bir kapasiteyle kayıyorum. Adım dizilerinde biraz durgun kalıyorum bu nedenle zorluk derecesi düşük oluyor. Ama genel olarak bakarsak, bu sezon en iyi kısa programım oldu” dedi.

Kazakistan’dan Denis Ten, 2009 Dört Kıta ve 2009 Dünya Şampiyonasından bu yana gelişmesini sürdürdüğünü gösterdi. 75.45 puan alan Ten, kısa programdaki en iyi puanını böylece 10 puandan fazla geliştirdi. “Sing, Sing, Sing” üzerine oluşturulan programını sunan Ten, üçlü lutz-üçlü toeloop kombinasyonu, üçlü flip ve üçlü axel yaptı. Beş patencinin finale gidebilme şansı vardı ancak hepsi de çok gergin bir yarışma çıkarttı. Hiçbir patenci hatasız bir program sergileyemedi. Düşmeler, neredeyse hatasız yapılan atlayışlar kadar olağandı…

Kısa ve serbest programda birinci olan Kanadalı Joannie Rochette, altın madalya kazandı.

2009 Dünya ikincisi Rochette, Camille Saint-Saens’ın “Samson and Delilah”sı üzerine hazırlanan serbest programına üçlü lutz-ikili toeloop-ikili rittberger kombinasyonuyla başladı ve daha sonra üçlü toeloop-üçlü salchow atlayış dizisi, ikili axel-ikili toeloop kombinasyonu yaptı. Üçlü lutz ve üçlü salchow’sunu ikili geçerek puan kaybeden Rochette, ayrıca üçlü flip’ten öbür ayağının üzerine sıçrayarak çıktı. Kanadalı patenci, üçlü rittberger’in çıkışında da hata yaparak puan kaybetti.

Teknik değerlendirmede 50.02 puan, bileşenler değerlendirmesinde de 62.88 puan alan Kanadalı patenci, toplam 112.90 bölüm puanıyla serbest programda birinci oldu. Kısa (31.10 üzerinden 38.40 + 31.60 = 70.00 puan) ve serbest program sonunda toplam 182.90 puan alan Rochette, genel sıralamada birinci oldu ve altın madalya kazandı.

Finale girme hakkını elde eden Kanadalı patenci, teknik değerlendirmede, elemanlarının toplam temel değeri olan 49.08 üzerinden 50.02 puan aldı.

Rochette, bu hatalara rağmen, bu sezon en iyi serbest program puanı ile en iyi toplam puanını elde etti ancak genel olarak en iyi puanlarının çok gerisinde kaldı.

Rochette, “Başta iyiydi ama sonra bocalamaya başladım. Kazanmaktan dolayı mutluyum fakat performans açısından hayal kırıklığı içindeyim. Baştan sona kadar daha iyi mücadele etmeliydim” dedi.

“Dr. Jivago” filminin müziği üzerine oluşturulan serbest programını sunan Czisny, üçlü lutz-ikili toeloop kombinasyonu, ikili axel-ikili axel atlayış dizisi, üçlü flip ve üçlü toeloop yaptı. Amerikalı patenci, teknik değerlendirmede, elemanlarının toplam temel değeri olan 42.81 üzerinden 46.57 puan aldı.

Czisny, “Hayal kırıklığı içindeyim. Hiç de iyi bir program sunmadım” dedi.

Kısa programda dördüncü, serbest programda ikinci olan Fin Laura Lepistö, genel sıralamada üçüncülüğe yerleşti ve bronz madalya kazandı.

Lepistö, “Adios Nonino” ve “Fuga y Misterio” üzerine hazırlanan serbest programında üçlü rittberger-ikili toeloop kombinasyonu, üçlü lutz, üçlü rittberger ve iki ikili axel yaptı. Üçlü toeloop-üçlü toeloop kombinasyonunda her iki atlayışı da ikili yaparak puan kaybeden Lepistö, üçlü salchow-ikili toeloop-ikili rittberger kombinasyonunda da üçlü salchow’yu ikili yaparak yine puan kaybetti. Finlandiyalı patenci, buna rağmen, kendisinin yeni sezonda en yüksek serbest program puanını aldı.

Teknik değerlendirmede 48.62 puan, bileşenler değerlendirmesinde de 54.16 puan Finlandiyalı patenci, toplam 102.78 bölüm puanıyla serbest programda ikinci oldu. Kısa (28.90 üzerinden 29.14 + 26.60 = 55.74 puan) ve serbest program sonunda toplam 158.52 puan alan Lepistö, genel sıralamada üçüncülüğe yükseldi ve bronz madalya kazandı.

Finlandiyalı patenci, teknik değerlendirmede, elemanlarının toplam temel değeri olan 47.62 üzerinden 48.62 puan aldı.

Lepistö, “Nagano’dan (NHK Trophy) daha iyiydim ama tam olarak memnun değilim. Daha iyi olmayı bekliyordum ama uçak yolculuğunun verdiği yorgunluktan çıkmak kolay olmuyor. Sezona iyi bir başlangıç olmadı benim için” dedi.

Kısa ve serbest programda üçüncü olan Amerikalı Mirai Nagasu, genel klasmanda dördüncülüğe indi (156.83) ve madalya kazanma imkânını yitirdi.

Kısa programda sekizinci olan Japon Akiko Suzuki, serbest programda beşinci olunca, genel sıralamada da beşinciliğe yükseldi ve finale gitme hakkını kazandı.

KISA PROGRAM

Bu yarışmanın ilginç yanı, üçüncü olan Mirai Nagasu ile sekizinci olan Akiko Suzuki arasından sadece 3.24 puan fark olması… Bu nedenle, serbest programda madalya mücadelesinin çok çekişmeli geçmesi bekleniyor.

2008 Skate Canada şampiyonu Rochette, 2009 Dünya ikincisi olurken elde ettiği en iyi kısa program puanını (67.90) bu yarışmada 70.00’e çıkararak kısa programda birinci oldu.

Gerardo Hernando Matos Rodriquez’in “La Cumparsita”sı üzerine hazırlanan kısa programını sunan Rochette, üçlü lutz-ikili toeloop kombinasyonu, üçlü flip ve ikili axel yaptı.

Spor hayatının en iyi kısa program yarışmasını çıkaran Rochette, “Hatasız kaymam halinde programımın yeterli olması nedeniyle üçlü-üçlü kombinasyonu denemedim” dedi.

2009 ABD şampiyonu Czisny, Legend of Zorro ve Mask of Zorro filmlerinin müziklerinden oluşan bir derleme üzerine hazırlanan kısa programını sundu. Amerikalı patenci, bu yarışmada bu sezonun kişisel olarak en yüksek puanını elde etti (63.52). Czisny, Rochette ile aynı atlayışları yaptı.

Czisny, “Aldığım puandan memnunum. Bu sezon sunduğum en iyi kısa program oldu” dedi.

Antrenör değiştirerek Frank Carroll ile çalışmaya başlayan 2008 ABD şampiyonu Nagasu, “Karayip Korsanları” filminin müziği üzerine oluşturulan kısa programını sundu. Nagasu, Cup of China yarışmasında elde ettiği puandan (62.20) daha düşük bir puan aldı. Nagasu da, Rochette ve Czisny ile aynı atlayışları yaptı.

Nagasu, “Cup of China yarışmasındakinden daha fazla kendime güvenim vardı ama daha fazla puan almam gerekiyor” dedi.

NHK Trophy yarışmasının birincisi Japon Akiko Suzuki, Bill Whelan’nın “Andalacia” ve  “Fire Dance” adlı eserleri üzerine hazırlan kısa programını sundu. Üçlü lutz-ikili toeloop kombinasyonu ile üçlü flip atlayışında hata yapan Suzuki, 53.10 puanla sekizinci oldu.

ÇİFTLER

Kısa ve serbest programda birinci olan Alman Aliona Savchenko/Robin Szolkowy çifti, altın madalya kazandı.

Savchenko/Szolkowy ikilisi, üçüncü olduğu Trophée Eric Bompard yarışmasının aksine iyi bir performans ortaya koydu. Bu sezon en iyi serbest program puanını elde ederek toplam 206.71 puana ulaşan çift, yeni bir dünya rekoru kırdı. Eski rekor, 206.54’le 2005′ten beri Çinli Xue Shen/Hongbo Zhao çiftine aitti. Alman çifti, 2009 Dünya Şampiyonasında 203.48 puan elde etmiş ve en iyi toplam puanını almıştı.

Belki bundan da daha önemlisi, Savchenko/Szolkowy ikilisinin, yeni puanlama sisteminde bileşenler değerlendirmesinde bulunan Performans/İcra bileşeninde ilk kez bir hakemden 10 puan almasıydı.

Antrenörleri Ingo Steuer, “Yeni sistemde ilk kez 10 puan almalarından gurur duydum. Onların daha fazla 10 puan almasını bekliyorum” dedi.

Alman çifti, Trophée Eric Bompard yarışmasındaki yetersiz performanstan sonra serbest programını değiştirdi.

Steuer, program konusunda da, “Eski programları sadece antrenmanda iyiydi. Paris yarışmasından sonra çok düşündüm ve dönüş yolculuğu sırasında uçakta değiştirmeye karar verdim. Kaybedecek bir şey yoktu ki…” diye konuştu.

Savchenko/Szolkowy çifti, John Barry’nin “Out of Africa” filminin müziği üzerine oluşturulan yeni programını sundu. Fırlatmalı üçlü flip ve fırlatmalı üçlü salchow ile yan yana üçlü salchow-üçlü salchow atlayış dizisi yapan çift, üçlü lutz girişli üçlü twist ve beşinci grup liftleri yaptı. Kısa (35.30 üzerinden 40.48 + 33.68 = 74.16 puan) ve serbest program sonunda toplam 206.71 puan alan Savchenko/Szolkowy çifti, genel sıralamada birinci oldu ve altın madalya kazandı.

Alman ikili, teknik değerlendirmede, elemanlarının toplam temel değeri olan 57.25 üzerinden 66.55 puan aldı.

Savchenko, “Bu programı sadece bir hatayla kaymak çok güzeldi. Yasak bir aşkı anlatmak istedik. Müzik ve koreografi birbirine çok uygun düştü ve seyirciyi de etkiledi” dedi.

Szolkowy de, “Paris yarışmasından sonra yeni serbest programı çalışmak için ek antrenman yaptık. Hata olduğu zaman neyi değiştirmeniz gerektiğini bilmeli ve yeni yarışmaya öyle hazırlanmalısınız” diye konuştu.

Kısa ve serbest programda ikinci olan Rus Maria Mukhortova/Maxim Trankov çifti, gümüş madalya kazandı.

“Love Story” filminin müziği üzerine hazırlanan serbest programını sunan Mukhortova/Trankov çifti, lutz girişli üçlü burgu (twist), fırlatmalı üçlü rittberger ve fırlatmalı üçlü salchow, beşinci grup iki lift, yan yana ikili axel ve yan yana üçlü toeloop-ikili toeloop kombinasyonu yaptı. Rus çifti, Trankov’un pantalonunun paçasını sabitlemek için çelik ile bot arasından geçen ve çözülen askının yeniden takılması için verilen aradan dolayı 2 ceza puanı aldı. Çift, sorunun halledilmesinden sonra programına kaldığı yerden devam etti.

Teknik değerlendirmede 63.11 puan, bileşenler değerlendirmesinde de 58.80 puan alan Rus çifti, (fazla ara verme) 2 ceza puanı kesilmesinden toplam 119.91 bölüm puanıyla serbest programda ikinci oldu. Kısa (33.80 üzerinden 37.12 + 28.68 = 65.80 puan) ve serbest program sonunda toplam 185.71 puan alan Mukhortova/Trankov ikilisi, genel sıralamada ikinciliği aldı ve gümüş madalya kazandı.

Rus çifti, teknik değerlendirmede, elemanlarının toplam temel değeri olan 55.15 üzerinden 63.11 puan aldı.

Trankov, “Bugün sakin ve iyiydik. Paralel spindeki hatamız dışında temiz bir program sunduk. İkili axel’da askım çözülmüş ama ben fark etmedim. Farkettiğimde bu şekilde devam edebileceğimi düşündüm ama başhakem, ben istemesem de, durmamı ve askımı düzeltmemi söyledi” dedi.

Alman ve Rus çifti, final hakkını elde etti.

Kısa ve serbest programda üçüncü olan Kanadalı Jessica Dubé/Bryce Davison ikilisi, bronz madalya kazandı.

“The Way We Were” üzerine hazırlanan serbest programını sunan Dubé/Davison çifti, bazı hatalar yaptı. Davison, yan yana ikili axel-ikili axel atlayış dizisinin ilk atlayışını birli geçti. Davison, “Programımız artistik olarak Paris’teki (Trophée Bompard) yarışmadan daha iyiydik ama teknik açıdan alamadığımız çok puan oldu. Spinde nasıl düştüğümüz anlamadık” dedi. Dubé de, “Şimdi kanada Şampiyonası için çalışmaya başlama zamanı…” diye konuştu.

Savchenko/Szolkowy ikilisi, kısa programda rahatlıkla birinci olurken kendi açılarından sezonun en yüksek puanını elde etti (74.16). Bir palyaço hikâyesi anlatan “Send in the Clowns” üzerine hazırlanan kısa programını sunan Alman çifti, fırlatmalı üçlü flip ile başladı ve ardından yan yana üçlü toeloop, lutz girişli üçlü twist (burgu) yaptı.

Alman çifti, Trophée Eric Bompard yarışmasında kısa programda birinci olmuş ama serbest programda dördüncü olunca genel klasmanda üçüncülüğe inmişti.

Szolkowy, “Performansımız iyiydi ama mükemmel değildi. Biraz yavaş kaldık” dedi.

Mukhortova/Trankov ikilisi, 65.80 puanla ikinci olurken Trophée Eric Bompard yarışmasında da 66.88 puanla Alman çiftin ardından ikinci sırayı almıştı. Rus çifti, o yarışmada serbest programda rakiplerini geçerek birinci olmuştu.

Secret Garden’ın “Appassionata”sı üzerine hazırlanan kısa programını sunan Rus çifti, yan yana üçlü toeloop, lutz girişli üçlü twist ve fırlatmalı üçlü rittberger yaptı ancak Mukhortova atlayışın çıkışında elini buza değdirerek puan kaybına yol açtı.

Trankov, “Fırlatmalı atlayıştaki hata nedeniyle program iyi olmadı yarın (serbest) daha iyisini yapmayı umuyoruz” dedi.

Dubé/Davison ikilisi, “Requiem for a Dream” üzerine hazırlanan kısa programında lutz girişli üçlü twist, fırlatmalı üçlü rittberger ve yan yana üçlü salchow yaptı ancak Dubé bu atlayıştan öbür ayağı üzerine sıçrayarak çıktığı için puan kaybına yol açtı. 57.90 puan alan Kanadalı çift, Trophée Eric Bompard yarışmasında 64.54 puanla kısa programda üçüncü olmuş ama o yarışmada ikinci olarak gümüş madalya kazanmıştı.

Davison, “Kendi seyircimiz önünde kaymak iyi ama bugün iyi kayamadık” dedi.

BUZ DANSI

Üç dans yarışmasında da birinci olan Kanadalı Tessa Virtue/Scott Moir ikilisi, altın madalya kazandı.

Kanadalı çift, Mahler’in “Symphony No. 5” üzerine hazırlanan serbest dansını sundu ve favori olarak gösterildiği yarışmada serbest dansı, sezonun en iyi serbest dans puanını alarak birinci sırada bitirdi. Danslarındaki altı elemanın zorluk derecsi dört olarak değerlendirildi ve her hakemden programdaki her elaman için artı ilave puan aldı. Hakemlerden biri, bileşenler değerlendirmesinde Perfomans için 10 puan verdi. Bu da, Buz Dansı’nda yeni puanlama sisteminde bir ilk olarak tarihe geçti. Kanadalı çiftin toplam puanı da kendilerinin sezonun en yüksek puanı oldu.

Teknik değerlendirmede 50.60 puan, bileşenler değerlendirmesinde de 52.52 puan alan Kanadalı çift, toplam 103.12 bölüm puanıyla serbest dansta birinci oldu. Zorunlu (15.50 üzerinden 20.44 + 20.25 = 40.69 puan), orijinal (24.70 üzerinden 29.50 + 31.07 = 60.57 puan) ve serbest dans sonunda toplam 204.38 puan alan Virtue/Moir çifti, genel klasmanda birinci oldu ve altın madalya kazandı.

Kanadalı dansçılar, teknik değerlendirmede, elemanlarının toplam temel değeri olan 41.60 üzerinden 50.60 puan aldı.

Moir, “Tessa ve ben iyi kaymaya kararlıydık. Dünkü (orijinal dans) kayışımız pek de iyi değildi. İstim üzerindeydik. Bir an Tessa’nın gözlerine baktım ve… Oldu işte” dedi.

Ezekiel’in “Kika”sı ve film müziği “Requiem for a Dream”den oluşan müzik üzerine hazırlanan dansını sunan Péchalat/Bourzat ikilisi de, bu yarışmada sezonun en iyi serbest dans puanını ve toplam puanı elde etti.

Teknik değerlendirmede 47.50 puan, bileşenler değerlendirmesinde de 45.97 puan alan Fransız ikili, toplam 93.47 bölüm puanıyla serbest dansta ikinci oldu. Zorunlu (15.50 üzerinden 17.56 + 17.99 = 35.55 puan), orijinal (24.90 üzerinden 27.90 + 28.15 = 56.05 puan) ve serbest dans sonunda toplam 185.07 puan alan Péchalat/Bourzat ikilisi, genel klasmanda ikinci sırayı elde etti ve gümüş madalya kazandı.

Fransız dansçılar, teknik değerlendirmede, elemanlarının toplam temel değeri olan 41.60 üzerinden 47.50 puan aldı.

Péchalat, “Dans bizim açımızdan mükemmeldi. İşimizi hatasız yaptık, sonuna kadar iyi kaydık. Bizim için Olimpiyatlar öncesinde Kanada’da iyi kaymak önemliydi. Daha önce Skate Canada yarışmalarında iyi kayamamıştık” dedi.

Virtue/Moir ve Péchalat/Bourzat, final yarışmasına katılma hakkını elde etti. İki takım da, ikinci kez finale gidiyor.

Zorunlu dansta üçüncü, orijinal ve serbest dansta dördüncü olan Kanadalı Kaitlyn Weaver/Andrew Poje çifti, genel sıralamada üçüncülüğü aldı ve bronz madalya kazandı.

Weawer/Poje çifti, Andrew Lloyd Webber’in “Phantasia”sı üzerine hazırlanan  dansında bu sezonun en yüksek serbest dans puanını ve toplam puanı aldı.

Teknik değerlendirmede 42.10 puan, bileşenler değerlendirmesinde de 40.18 puan alan Kanadalı ikili, toplam 82.28 bölüm puanıyla serbest dansta dördüncü oldu. Pepe Romero’nun Flâmenko parçası Farrucas” üzerine hazırlanan orijinal dansını sunan Virtue/Moir ikilisi, orijinal dansta 60.57 puan alarak toplam 101.26 puana yükseldi.

Kanadalı çift içim beklenmeyen bir performans oldu. Virtue, orijinal dansta az daha düşüyordu.

Péchalat/Bourzat ikilisi, 56.06 puan kazandı toplam 91.60 puan yükseldi. Fransız ekibi, orijinal dansında Amerikan Country tarzında bir müzik kullandı.

Bourzat, yarışmanın yapıldığı pistin buz hokeyi pisti boyutunda olmasına atıfta bulunarak, “Pistin alanına alışmak zordu. Adım dizilerimiz pekiyi olmadı çünkü buzda yer yoktu ama Trophée Eric Bompard yarışmasına göre daha canlı ve coşkulu kaydık” dedi. Buz pateni pisti 30 x 60 metre (1.800 metrekare), buz hokeyi pisti 26 x 56 metre (1.456 metrekare) boyutunda…

Orijinal dansta üçüncü olan Weaver/Poje çifti, 51.18 puan aldı ve toplam 83.36 puana yükseldi.

Virtue/Moir çifti, beklendiği üzere, en yüksek zorunlu dans puanını elde ederek (40.69) birinci sırada tamamladı.

Péchalat/Bourzat ikilisi, en iyi zorunlu dans puanını 0.02 puan geliştirerek 35.55 puan aldı ve ikinci oldu.

Weaver/Poje çifti, Cup of China yarışmasında elde ettiği 30.40 puanlık skorunu daha da geliştirerek (32.18) üçüncü sırayı aldı.

Bu yarışmada madalya kazanması beklenen takımlar arasında olan İtalyan Federica Faiella/Massimo Scali çifti, Faiella’nın bağırsak enfeksiyonuna yakalanması nedeniyle yarışmadan çekildi. İtalyan çifti, yarışmadan çekildiği için finale katılamayacak.

I had been thinking about going to the Berkeley Buddhist Temple today for the co-gathering of the East Bay Buddhist ( Shin Buddhist ) temple founder service. Why, well to see what goes on mostly. I was on Sat night. This sect is different from my Chan group. Then I read that even though their main Buddha is not Shakyamuni , it is Amida they still do not consider him a “GOD” more like Manifested Universal Spiritual Energy. So I was ok with that. Yet this morning I felt, Berkeley do I really feel like the trip. After my morning meditation I thought, yeah step outside your comfort zone and do it.

It was a somewhat cool Sunny Sunday Autumn day. I am always nervous about going into new places and usually being the smallest minority. But I did it. I walked in, got some info and sat down. I few minutes later I felt a tap on my shoulder. A girl asked me was I a member here and some other stuff. I’m thinking, oh am I sitting in the wrong place? However it was cool. It was her first time there also, she was a journalist student from Berkeley doing some kind of writeup about the change in the service or something like that from Japan to America. We chatted a bit, she was from Osaka sort of, same as LZ. She was really from Kobe, but loved Osaka. Her husband to be was moving to the states from Osaka.

We talked for a bit on the modification of things Japanese once it is in the states, then service started. An Oba-chan who was sitting next to me, who had moved in and out a few times I spoke to in Japanese. She shared her “song” book with me. After the  service we chatted a bit she was nice, she said it was very nice to met me. The service was a combined effort of the three temples. There were four ministers who spoke, each one gave a short talk and the whole thing was over in about 1 hour. One talk was on peace, another was on it’s a small world and we all share it we are all one, another was on The three A’s,  the third Sensei wrapped it all up combining the topics.

There was another part to the service later and lunch, but I headed out. I wanted to make it to Kyudo practice, then to the Extreme Buddhist event in the City later. I was pleased with myself for going and stepping out my comfort zone.

On the way home, I have car problems, a water hose breaks, car over heats, I stop, get water, fill up , drive , stop, etc, etc. So much for Kyudo. I limp the car home. This is not a simple hose and LZ has to go to work. Oh well, I adjust my plans and take steps to deal with the situation. That  is all one can do most time is to flow with it…

While in Chinatown last week I came across a poster that said Extreme Buddhism. I liked the graphic however it struck me as some New Age Get some new blood in the mix marketing thing. I invited my Chan sister to come along to see what was Up an spoke some about it at the Chan meeting. Shijie could not make it, and I had considered not going if I needed to miss Kyudo, Then Kyudo was set for 2:00pm so I could make both. Well then the car water hose broke. Anyway to shorten the tale. I went to the Extreme Buddhist gathering. It was hmmm. ok. I hated , hated the music! The leader a woman, Buddhist Priest casual dressed in jeans was in charge. THe stage had a VERY nice Chinese screen with a dragon, There was one chair on the stage with a large vase of flowers next to it. Low key understated, classy. She spoke of many good things and at no time said anything about joining her group. However the playing Rock and metal to meditate really did not do it for me. It fit her style but not mine. The best music was Bob Marley songs during the cookie break!

Anyway, it was good marketing, selling without selling, basically Chan for Middle America. Nothing really ground breaking for people with Meditation practice.  She drew from Yoga, Christian, Zen Philosophy. It was though a good non-Asian intro for those who’ve not been exposed or understood this “Chan” type of thought . Would I recommend it…Well nothing was said about the cost of having this woman as a teacher. She did say it was not easy to be taken as a student. Sounded like good marketing to me. Also bring s to mind, the saying if you have to ask, you can not afford it. The Hyatt Regency is not cheap to rent! Also reminds me of South Park, Cartman had a playground, He said it was not for just anyone, so of course everyone wanted to come.

Would it be worth it…? Depends on the person. Everyone is different…

So I’ve finally restarted cleaning my room!

De toutes les bestioles qui peuplent ma maison, les fourmis sont les plus supportables. J’en trouve même dans mon lit des fois, mais bon tant qu’elles ne vont pas dans ma bouffe et que j’en mange pas tout va bien (ca a vraiment un gout horrible) Sauf que celles la c’est des grosses, grosses fourmis rouges. Et si elles te chopent tu souffres. Beaucoup.

Ça fait partie de l’un des points négatifs a vivre dans un pays tropical, on rencontre beaucoup de bestioles. Peut être que la prochaine fois je vous montrerai un combat de geckos sur le plafond si j’arrive a en filmer un.

EDIT : Mon p’ti *roar* m’a donné des nouvelles photos, et du coup je peux vous montrer ce qui se passe quand on laisse une maison vide pendant plus de 3 jours.

My Stepdad is in the hospital recovering from heart surgery last week, he is not recovering quickly

A company took their $4,000 to get their mortgage payment of 3,500 lowered and did nothing.

The last house payment sent in was returned

The bank sold their home from under them

My Mum , 85 yrs old got served noticed she needs to move from their home in 3 wks or get put out.

They are in Sac.

I am her nearest relative…1.5 hours away

Our condo, was suppose to be sold, but the buyer lost his loan due to the slowness of the mortgage company

The law firm wanted another 3,000 to work a deal with the mortgage company so the condo could be relisted for sale

The mortgage company is calling now, foreclosure is on the horizon

My ex-wife sent a note thanking me for the money I sent and reminding I was still behind on payments

My unemployment benefits run out in 3 months….

The company were we have been practicing Kyudo for free is closing down and getting evicted.

Things could be worse…and are worse for many…still

…I would say these are interesting times.

Sherlock, Jr. – 1924

Starring – Buster Keaton, Kathryn McGuire, and Joe Keaton

The strength of any Buster Keaton performance is his supreme physicality. The man’s ability to use props, his co-stars, as well as his own body to carry out extremely fun and inventive sight gags and stunts is second to none.

Especially considering the fact that his subject of his derring-do often revolves around moving vehicles (trains and cars are what I’m thinking of specifically), it is made only that much more dangerous, and consequently impressive. The weak area of the Keaton films that I’ve seen thus far (The General, and this), are the parts where he has to carry the parts in between the major stunt set-pieces. While far surpassing a lot of the action sequences in most movie of his day, Keaton is trumped when it comes to the dramatic acting. In that arena he is bested by other comedians like Chaplin, and the Marx Brothers.

Sherlock, Jr. is a short film, lasting only about 35 minutes, which I think works in the film’s favor. If it were too much longer, it would drag, and if it were feature length it would eventually become agonizing! As it is, I was more than entertained by film the entire time, and caught myself checking my watch only because I was watching some food in the oven.

The music for this production, just like in The General, serves the purpose of helping pace the film. During the action sequences, the piano music is peppy and lively. Likewise when the story wants us to dwell on the Keaton’s love interest, the music slows down and we know what’s going to happen. This tendency of using the music this way helps to keep the slower parts interesting, but allows for no surprises in the plot. We know immediately what the tone of the scene is going to be. That being said, I don’t think anyone really watches a Buster Keaton movie wondering if he’ll actually get the girl, they watch to see him do what he does best…perform.

Now I realize that Buster Keaton is a pioneer in the movie industry, but he has so many films in this book of 1001, yet some who have carried on in his name like Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung are not recognized at all in this list.  While I am looking forward to seeing whatever else Mr. Keaton has in store for me in his other films, it seems only right that other performers get recognition too.  So if you liked Sherlock, Jr. check out Dragons Forever, Eastern Condors, or Armor of God (also known as Operation Condor 2: Armor of God).

For wallpapers, yes for wallpaper. It’s called 4walled. You can find it here. It allows you to type in tagged words and the site dumps the tagged wallpapers from all the chans. ( 4chan, 7chan etc.etc.) It allows you to choose your own aspect ratio and whether the wallpaper is safe for work or not. Its an evolving search engine, as the wallpapers change on the different sites the search results for 4walled change as well.

The Chained bag is trendy again. I remember looking back at old photos of my mom, now 63 years old. Back in the day my mother was quite the fashionista! I guess you could say that I get my sense of style from her.

I was at an Indian wedding in the summer and my girlfriend just got back from London. She was carrying the Unique gray Chanel flap handbag to accent her gray summer dress. I asked her if it was a vintage bag to which she replied, “just wait… these are hot in London now and they are slowly making their way to Canada.” She was right!

My style tip would be to limit the jewelry when wearing this type of bag as the the handle acts as a “jewelry” piece.

Bruce tout puissant

« Barjot Bruce » est un reporter qui aime son métier même si on l’oblige souvent a faire des reportages niaiseux. Il est persuadé qu’on s’acharne a lui fait louper toutes les opportunités, et c’est après une accumulation VDM qu’il décide de s’en prendre a dieu et de l’accuser de se foutre de sa gueule. Après quoi il rencontre le créateur (qui est noir, quand même, hein, respect) et obtient tout ses pouvoirs divins. Il y a des scènes marrantes comme le pétage de plomb en direct des chutes du Niagara (S’érode. S’eroooooooodeuh) même si ça ne restera pas forcement des scènes cultes. Le niveau est tout juste relevé par le jeu inimitable de Jim Carrey autant par ses répliques que par sa gestuelle. Et c’est ainsi que le cookie s’émiette.

A voir parce que : Evan et sa séance des mille grimaces hystériques, qu’il faudra applaudir pour avoir faillit me tuer d’un fou rire.

G Force

Un fabricant d’electromenager a implante une puce dans ses produits pour qu’elles deviennent des machines a tuer. Une équipe d’agents spéciaux infiltrent sa maison pour voler ses données et essayer de la désactiver avant que les machines ne se mettent a provoquer la fin du monde. Jusque la ca donne un peu envie mais sans plus. Sauf que ces agents spéciaux sont des cochons d’inde. Oui, des putains de cochons d’inde avec des gagets a la mission impossible, avec assistance sous terraine de déploiement sur la map par une taupe geek, et une vue aérienne retransmise par une mouche. Hell yeah.

A voir parce que : Des répliques a deux balles qui m’ont fait hurler de rire tellement c’est de niveau maternelle. Des scènes qui sont une pure tuerie, comme le combat avec la cafetière-mitrailleuse, la course poursuite voiture contre boule de hamster hypersonics, le combat final contre un espèce de gundam de micro-ondes. Et l’uber twist final que tu t’attendais mais qu’en fait non c’est pas ca.

Une arnaque presque parfaite

L’histoire de deux frères experts en arnaques qui gagnent leur vie en jouant des rôles pour tromper les gens. Mais un jour Bloom en a assez, il fait sa crise d’identite et lâche tout pour mener sa propre vie, une vie non écrite. Avant de le laisser partir, son frère lui propose une dernière affaire avant de se quitter, et tout va partir en lolipop quand Bloom va tomber amoureux de leur victime. Bon soyons clairs : J’aime Adrien. J’aime son nez bizarre, j’aime son air de chien battu, je l’aime depuis que je l’ai vu dans « Hard Way » (film dont je suis persuadée être la seule a avoir regarde) donc il y avait de grandes possibilité pour que je ne sois pas objective. Mais je le suis, et c’est un bon film. Il est ponctue de gags visuels qui m’ont fait sourire, ca a quelque chose de désinvolte et de tendre a la fois. Les personnages finissent par devenir très attachants, que ce soit Bang-Bang, la japonaise silencieuse experte des explosifs ou la riche paumée qui sait jongler avec des tronçonneuses.

A voir parce que : C’est si attendrissant, j’aurai eu le DVD, je l’aurai pris dans mes bras.

La colline a des yeux

Alors d’abord, c’est QUOI cette niaiserie : « Oh ce monsieur de la pompe a essence ne m’inspire vraiment pas confiance, mais qu’importe ! Suivons quand même son conseil et prenons le raccourci qui mène tout droit dans le désert » La colline a des yeux ca se résume a ca : une famille (franchement débile) décide de se faire un voyage pour fêter un anniversaire de mariage. Pour se rendre a destination, ils doivent traverser le désert et évidemment, ils vont être coincés la pendant que des gens a moitie mutant viendront les inviter à boire le thé. C’est mal filme, c’est moche, c’est ennuyeux. Pratiquement aucune scène d’horreur n’est crédible. Je n’ai pas eu un seul frisson, juste une série de bâillement.

A ne pas voir parce que : c’est juste du foutage de gueule.

Astropia

Mon dieu ce truc a du se télécharger par erreur. Et c’est bien parce que l’heroine était honteusement jolie que j’ai regarde jusqu’au bout.

A ne pas voir parce que : C’est des mou de chez mou, le scenario, les dialogues, même les cascades sont molles, non vraiment, ne le regardez pas, même si y a de la bonne volonté de la part des coiffeuses (vous verriez la tête de l’elfe, mon dieu, même Legolas n’avait pas ose se faire toute la tête en tresse africaine) et que le plot donne envie (une blonde un peu simplette mais gentille comme tout doit se mettre a bosser sérieusement depuis que son mec est en prison. Elle postule dans un magasin de geek, elle n’y connais strictement rien évidemment, mais va peu a peu apprendre a passer du cote obscur de la force en participant a des jeux de rôles avec ses copains plus nerds les uns que les autres)

C’est tout.

500 days of Summer

C’est l’histoire d’un garçon et d’une fille qui se rencontrent et qui vivent une histoire d’amour banale, sauf qu’il l’aime et que elle, non. Ce qui est cool c’est que c’est ni le mec qui est un connard ni la fille qui est une salope. Il n’arrive pas a l’oublier, pour lui c’etait elle la femme de sa vie, mais en même temps c’est pas sa faute si elle pense pas pareil. Sur les 500 jours ou il aime Summer, le film s’entrecoupe de moments d’avance rapide et de retour en arrière, expliquant peu a peu comment leur relation évolue. Ça rembobine a tout va et pourtant on est pas perdus, on accroche a l’histoire parce que c’est tellement vrai tout ca… Au départ il y a le compromis du « rien de sérieux » et puis il y a des sentiments qui se pointent, on brise les règles du départ, y a les questions sur « c’est quoi nous deux » et ensuite on se retrouve face a la douleur parce que c’est pas pareil de son cote, et quand vient la rupture il y a le rejet du « restons amis » on peut pas puisqu’on aime encore. Le reste n’est qu’une période horrible ou on repense a tout les moments passes ensemble, on fait que ca. Il reste la a déprimer, a ne pas vouloir passer a autre chose et il est lamentable, oui, il fait pitié, et c’est pathétique mais au fond on se reconnait dedans. Moi en tout cas je me suis reconnue.

A voir parce que : ca finit sur ma saison préférée, dernier mot du film : « Automne »

Marley et moi

Quelle daube ! Mais quelle putain de chiotte de daube !  Moi qui croyais que ca serait une romance a l’eau de rose, vu le titre, et en fait non, Marley c’est un chien. UN CHIEN. Et quasiment tout le film tourne autour du clebs. Non mais n’importe quoi, la dernière fois que j’ai vu un film sur un chien c’etait Beethoven quoi. Je le déconseille, l’histoire n’est pas intéressante, et j’aurai pu dire que c’etait une pure perte de temps si je n’etais avec Anaïs quand je l’ai vu : elle avait tellement galère avec la teloche ( – Bon c’est bon la ? – Nan on voit que le trois quart de l’ecran. – Bon et la c’est mieux ? – Oui, la on voit tout l’ecran mais c’est en noir et blanc. – Ben on peut le regarder en noir et blanc ! – Ah nan hein moi je veux les couleurs ! Je veux les couleurs) elle a lutte comme une lionne pour mes caprices et c’etait tellement mignon de sa part que j’en garde un bon souvenir.

A ne pas voir parce que : Entre Owen et Jennifer, on ne sait pas qui a le meilleur brushing.

L’echange

Le titre du film résume bien le tout. La en l’occurrence c’est les gosses qu’on échange. S’en suit le combat d’une maman pour retrouver son fils. Entre flics pourris et psychopathe tueur d’enfant, y a vraiment rien de joyeux dans ce film. Faut au moins attendre deux heures avant de (enfin) voir un sourire sur les lèvres (toujours aussi hypnotiques) d’Angelina. Et ca me gene, ca me flux, parce que j’arrive pas a l’aimer dans les rôles d’oprimees ; même si elle est assez convaincante dans le film, pour moi c’est toujours soit Fox, Lara, soit Jane Smith. Plusieurs fois j’aurai voulu qu’il y ai un putain de twist, de quoi casser cette ambiance pesante. C’est une histoire assez bouleversante, sans pour autant être un chef d’oeuvre. J’etais bien dans le film, j’ai pas décroché, même si y avait des moments ou je trouvais ca long. Je me suis demandée si c’etait possible, si elle pouvait vraiment avoir perdu la tête, incapable de reconnaitre son fils. Je pense que j’aurai aime, ca aurait été pas mal de voir dans quel état serait le gosse dans ce cas la. Un film triste me déprime, un film ignoble me fascine.

A voir parce que : même si Angelina s’efforce a être vraiment très moche dans ce film, je lui trouve toujours autant de magnétisme.

The boy in the striped pyjamas

Allemagne nazie, un fils de commandant allemand déménage a la campagne et se fait grave chier dans sa nouvelle maison. De sa fenêtre, il voit une ferme ou plein de gens travaillent et décide d’aller voir pourquoi tout le monde porte un pyjama raye. En explorant derrière sa maison, il  traverse une foret et va arriver a un grillage. De l’autre cote il y a un petit garçon. Une amitié se noue entre eux, bien qu’ils ne comprennent pas très bien toutes les choses qui les séparent. Film plus qu’émouvant, plus que marquant. C’est la guerre vu par deux enfants, trop naïfs pour deviner toutes les atrocités qui se passent derrière le grillage, pour savoir ce qui brule quand les cheminées du camp fument. C’est tellement d’innocence dans un film au sujet grave, on voit ces deux gamins que ne savent pas, et c’est quelque chose qui pèse très lourd parce que nous, nous on sait.

A voir parce que : c’est horrible, c’est injuste, c’est cruel et pourtant c’est beau. Plus le film avance plus c’est atroce, la fin nous laisse sans voix, mais ca reste beau. Le dernier plan, la toute derniere image me restera a vie.

Chinese actor Jackie Chan arrived in Vietnam November 4 as ambassador for Operation Smile, a charitable organization that provides free surgery for children with cleft lips and palates.

He visited the Vietnam – Cuba Hospital and met child patients, as well joining in various activities to raise funds.

“Despite that fact that I’ve been to Vietnam twice as ambassador for two different organizations, there’s only one Jackie Chan. I’ll always do my best today and in the following years to help as many children as I can to have a better life,” he said at a press conference on November 4.

He established a fund, the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation, and encouraged his son to join charitable activities with him.

On November 5, before his visit in Vietnam ended, he returned to the hospital to encourage some children before they had surgery to win back their smiles.

Jackie Chan first came to Vietnam as an ambassador for UNICEF.

Soit il me font peur, soit ils m’insupportent soit, je m’en moque autant que les régimes à base de protéines, Michael Moore, les Républicains et leur conventions nationales, la Cabale et tous les produits dérivés de la Cabale, la télé Haute Définition, les 2 films de Bush, Internet et les Start Up, les Nations Unies et leur programme de recyclage, les Punks, la coiffure de ma concierge, ma première paire de chaussettes, Jeff Bridges, Jeff Daniels et tout les Jeff qu’il y a au monde, le salaire des footballeurs, les états qui votent à gauche , ceux qui votent à droite, les voitures sans permis, les émissions culturelles, tout ce qui vit sur la planète, tout ce qui vit dans le système solaire, tout ce qui vit, tout ce qui vit, tout ce qui vit et toutes les choses passé présente ou futur qu’elles soient dans notre univers ou dans une autre dimension. Ho et aussi Spiderman .

Le Dr Cox est l’acteur qui a les meilleures répliques du monde.

J’aime pas les filles asiatiques (et je parlerai même pas des mecs d’ici parce qu’ils sont des animaux, des animaux bêtes et ecoeurants, moches, stupides, ignobles et dégueulasses) Je trouve qu’elles ont tous la même gueule. Même visages, même nez ronds même yeux brides, même cheveux noirs, même silhouette fine. Elles sont toutes pareilles. Je m’en plains un peu quand même, vu que je fais partie de ces gens (en plus moi j’ai tout sauf la silhouette fine)

Mais aujourd’hui tout change, parce que je suis en amour avec deux vietnamiennes.

Vue pour la première fois sur Youtube. Une Guru of Beauty. 3 vidéos après je l’aimais.

Parce qu’elle me donne envie de me mettre du mascara plus souvent, parce qu’elle est belle du physique mais magnifique du dedans, parce que c’est la fille que je voudrais devenir mais que je serai jamais, nan, elle trop gentille, trop belle, trop classe, trop parfaite.

Mais je la veux.

Et puis y a aussi elle :

Vue pour la premiere fois dans Acoustic. A la question “De quelle origine êtes vous ?” elle a répondu “Je suis française.” Elle a joue trois chansons sur son piano et je l’ai aimée.

Parce que quand je l’écoute chanter j’ai l’impression qu’elle plonge sa main dans mon ventre et en sort mes entrailles, parce que dans ses textes c’est un peu de moi, parce que un peu de colère, de haine, de révolte, parce que le petit diable qui souffle a ton oreille “Aime moi, crache, vas-y crache ma petite poupée chérie”
