One of the top contenders was Bourjois, where they won 3 awards for the Mass Foundation, Mass Lip/Gloss Category and Nails. Bravo Bourjois ! My personal vote for the Prestige Lip Category was the Chanel  Rouge Allure and it won !!! Truly one of my favourite lipsticks. I also tried and tested a great number of body products; my hands and feet did not complain one bit

Kiehl’s got the award for Prestige Body Product while Vaseline Cocoa Glow got the award for Best Mass Body Product.

Max Factor and Maybelline got the Best Mascara Award while Lancome Hypnose won for Best Prestige Mascara.

I also walked away with some amazing goodies from Sephora, Inglot, Nail Station, Max Factor and Glambox !!! I’m guessing it’s time I had a Summer giveaway on the blog !

Viva Beauty Awards 2013

Det ble ikke en Chanel-veske på meg da jeg var i Madrid. Jeg brukte for lang tid på å tenke over saken, og vips så var det siesta i butikkene og søndagsstengt, så jeg var rett og slett litt for treig. Og det kjenner jeg at jeg angrer på nå. Alltid nedtur å reise fra kjæresten, og jeg hadde en lang og slitsom flyreise med mye forkjølelse og koffert som ble borte med alt av klær, toalettsaker, kamera og mac. I tillegg var det pøsregn og veps som hadde slått leir på soverommet mitt i to vepsebol da jeg kom hjem, som gjorde det ekstra slitsomt, og det hadde vært godt med en gave til meg selv som trøst. Det får bli neste gang. Da var det bare å bestemme seg for om jeg vil ha vesken i caviar-skinn eller glatt. Og med lenke i sølv eller gull…

In the spirit of thrift and good behaviour, here is what I would be investing in should I find myself a little more disposably-incomed.*

1. & Other Stories, shoes I finally made my first trip to & Other Stories this weekend. My thoughts:

It’s very Scandi

There aren’t enough sleeves (that, combined with the all-angles-you’ve-never-before-considered fitting rooms, aren’t friend with the arm-conscious. Hiyaaaa again, kettlebell)

The jewellery is inspired (the toothed bangle! )

The shoes are even better.

All these, for those concerned, are ‘on-trend’; they’re great quality, and actually pretty sensible. The last pair are the ones that have stolen my heart; I can only hope they stay in stock long enough for me to find some (however weak) sort of justification.

2. Chanel, Le Blanc de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Base Queen of primers, clearly just waiting to be the new-best-pal of NARS Sheer Glow. I don’t really believe a foundation primer could ever count as a life essential, but I should really like to use this one.

3. Quay Accents, Boat Tray Table this is a bit of an unusual one for me, but JUST LOOK. I have the perfect spot for it in my little bedroom, and every time I look at it I become a little more convinced of how happy a little boat-themed tray would make me…
4. Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy la Fleur I’ve been using Marc Jacobs Daisy since my birthday, as it was a present, I love it, and I’m really very much of a one-perfume-at-a-time girl. But a little, less than sub-conscious part of me has been hankering after a summer scent and I think this might be the one! After reading Laura’s blog post on it here, it has pretty much been calling me. I’m sort of convinced it will come with sun.

5! well, this is awkward. What I really want for number five (perhaps more in line with those budget cuts) is, simply, a damn good nights sleep. I’ve got a busy weekend coming up (jumping that gun, much?) and am a bit of a non-sleeper, so I’m off to reacquaint myself with my pyjamas and a book. Goodnight campers! Le deuxième produit a fait bcp couler d’encre et j’ai attendu d’avoir l’occas et moins 50% pour l’acheter. C’est une illusion d’ombre. Ne me jetez pas des pierres, mais franchement j’ai trouvé d’une que le résultat n’était pas foufou, genre que des paillettes (je préfère mille fois les color tattoo) et de deux et ben au bout de 3 mois le produit s’est rétracté oui, oui genre il a eu peur de moi ou un truc dans le genre.

Peut être que j’ai été super malchanceuse deux fois. Mais sinon leur ràl sont topissimes!!

Comme quoi les produits de luxe comme tous les autres il y a des trucs bien et d’autres moins bien, il suffit juste de se faire une opinion. (c’est profond ma morale vous avez vu?)

Aujourd’hui j’ai décidé de vous présenter les petits cadeaux que j’ai préparer pour ma maman, bien sur j’ai bien galérer pour trouver ce qui lui plairait car elle est plus difficile que moi, Oui oui c’est possible!

Comme presque toutes les mamans, la votre aime surement aussi prendre des bains chauds et ressortir en sentant bon de sa baignoire. J’ai moi même opter pour la marque LUSH que j’affectionne tout particulièrement pour tout ce qui est douche et bains. Ma séléction:

Des fondant pour le bain que j’ai d’ailleurs commander il n’y a pas plus tard que ça et que je ne pas encore reçu, l’image vient donc directement du site LUCH

Une lotion hydratante que j’ai tout comme le dernier pas encore reçu car je les ai commander en même temps.

Ma mère adore se peloter dans une couverture avec un bon café dans les mains quand il ne fait pas beau donc je pense qu’elle sera très heureuse d’obtenir un plaid tout doux dans lequel elle pourra passer ses journées pluvieuses. Il est de la marque Soft.

Ensuite j’ai prévu de lui donner un de ses fameux pêcher mignon, les éclairs au café! Elle risque de me dire que je vais l’engraisser mais c’est pour la bonne cause hihi.

Et pour finir, j’ai gagner deux jolies colliers paper plane sur www.concours-one-direction.fr, le même que Harry Styles des One Direction. Un pour moi et un pour elle.

Et voila! En espérant que ça lui plaira car j’ai pris beaucoup de temps pour économiser…en vendant mes affaires et en gardant des enfants, ce qui m’a d’ailleurs beaucoup plu mais épuiser.

Is there anything in the world better than Fan Bingbing in Elie Saab? I really don’t think so, dear readers. I know she’s worn similar gowns before, and I totally don’t give a shit, because this canary color is just exquisite on her. The boxy metallic clutch and the dark nails are perfect, and the Chopard earrings are to die for.

Kate Middleton, Duchess of Shiny Hair herself would look at this and say, “Now that’s some perfect fucking hair.” I love positively every detail of this dress, from the color to the exquisite beading to those absolutely divine platform shoes. I swear, I live for the Cannes Film Festival if only because I know Fan will show up in at least a handful of amazing looks.

It’s a little strange, which is why I like it. I think a few less layers of ridiculousness in the skirt would have helped balance things out a little more, but the concept of this trench-like jacket over a gown intrigues me. I definitely love the color, and the purse, and her fabulous earrings, and the guy next to her with the shit-eating grin.
