Hace casi dos años, hice un curso de cómics con el gran dibujante nacional, Rodrigo Salinas. Para uno de los ejercicios que nos hizo hacer, creé este inocente personaje: El Chavo Pin8.

McMahon pinned the WWE Champion. Yes it was his birthday, but what a load of shit. Your champion is supposed to be strong.
MVP and Mark Henry being thrown in a tag team and then being immediate contenders for the tag titles is a load of shit. After their first match, they are set to have a title shot at a pay per view? This is exactly how the WWE killed the tag titles, this is not how they recussitate the the titles.
So many matches for the pay per view were thrown together real quick with no anticipation. They turned Summerslam into a PPV that is a waste. Summerslam was supposed to be the Wrestlemania of the summer, a time for feud enders(Jeff Hardy and CM Punk was the only one and that is only because Hardy is selfhishly leaving the E) and a time to make stars (CM Punk was the only one). The Raw after Summerslam is supposed to start big and fresh; Instead the whole show was about Mr. McMahon.
Hornswoggle vs Chavo again?
Part of what made the Miz awesome was because of his charisma. I really hope that they arent changing his character.

What Jericho said to Shaq was brilliant.

Did anyone notice that Shaq had a Lakers couch in his dressing room area?

Chris Masters? That was random. I was looking forward to him coming back but after watching him today, I could care less.

Too bad Kofi wasn’t in the beat the clock challenege. I am actually not angry that Kendrick got squashed because it built his character.

A blindefold match? Ridiculous.
Why did Chavo try to go on the top rope, to help set up Hornswogsle’s finisher?

I was surprised to see Evan Bourne beat Swagger. When I first heard about the beat the clock challenge, I had him as a slight favorite.
Look at what Evan Bourne did, he was showing off why he is a great wrestler.

Love The Miz’s rant on the Wizards. Brilliant. “As a Cavs fan, how do we keep him fresh? We keep him out against the Wizards because we are going to win anyway.”

Miz has a red rooster thing going on with his hair. Did anyone notice?

On Raw, Batista of all people announced a trade of 15 wrestlers. Guess they had to one up the NBA. Details:
Moving to the Raw roster:
Gail Kim - Smackdown womens division was cluttered.
Alicia Fox – lets McCool be on her own  but can you see Fox doing any damage?
Jack Swagger – how much do you want to make a bet he will win the US title now?
Evan Bourne – lets hope they don’t bury him. I would love to see him and Kofi
Mark Henry – so this is Raw’s idea of bringing in talent?

Moving to the SmackDown roster:
Matt Hardy – he is injured, if he comes back before his brother leaves then he will benefit, if not it is pretty likely he will be buried
Finlay – Another heel for Smackdown. They just turned Punk, my guess is they reverse the Punk turn, or have something else planned. Remember Matt is a heel too. Smackdown now has all the top heels
The Hart Dynasty – David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd & Natalya : Time for the big time boys. Natalya will be a future champ.

Moving to the ECW roster:
Shelton Benjamin – If you have been following this blog then you know that I have pointed out how they fucked him up so bad. Well atleast they noticed are are fixing it. Shelton will win the ECW title before the next draft.
Goldust – I liked him and Hornswoggle. O well, I hope he gets a legit singles run. He is the perfect guy to put over new talent anyway.

Brie & Nikki Bella

Trade Analysis: 
Losers of this trade:
ECW: They lose Swagger/Harts/Finlay/Bourne/ in one swoop. That is their whole show. Now its the time of Kozlov and Dreamer.
Hornswoggle: him and Goldust kicked ass, I thought they had potential
Charlie Haas: there goes his tag team partner
Christian: The second I heard this trade was made, I thought that he was going to be moved. He has already dominated ECW and it was time to move on. Now he has to wait a year. Bullshit, that will just hurt his career.

Winners: 
Kozlov and every ECW undercarder who hasn’t been seeing time. With the loss of that much talent who have been featured, they will atleast get a chance.
Tommy Dreamer: Of the people in the match at the Bash, only he and Christian remain. Where is his competition?
The Miz: With Smackdown getting all the heels, it is him, Orton, and the Big Show carrying the heels in the main events.
Mike Knox: he has been off tv for a while, maybe he will be paired with Charlie Haas. He has nothing to lose
Chavo: Losing Regal and Hardy makes him relevant in the Heels division.
Smackdown: Matt Hardy/Finlay/and the Harts. They just got more of my favorite wrestlers. This is the show to watch. All they gave up was Shelton and some excess Divas.

Random Raw Thoughts:
So is Mark Henry a good guy now? He was cheering Batista when he came out.
That tourney for title is bullshit. Was there any doubt that Cena and HHH were going to advance?
I thought Mickie James was already established as the number one contender. So to make it official she squashes Beth Phoenix and Kelly? That is bullshit.
I loved decision to put the tag titles on Edge and Jericho. Putting them on 2 huge draws was a great idea.

It seems that Chavo has 2 strikes against him with the Drug policy. A 3rd will take him out of the E completely. I hope for the sake of the Guerrero family that he cleaned up because of Eddie.
Also, I don’t see much of a storyline with him now that Vicky left. If I were creative, I would put him with Regal in a tag team. Chavo is obnoxious and doesn’t take anything seriously, Regal takes everything seriously. It would make for a nice tag team. Plus they can feud with the Goldust/Festus/Hornswaggle group. They can call the tag team 2 strikes, since Regal has failed 2 tests as well.

So my little brother is sitting in front of me playing playstation and he chooses Chavo Guererro, it got me thinking: Of all the wrestlers that competed in WCW, can you believe that Chavo Guerrero is still wrestling in an important storyline 10 years later? He has outlasted guys like Buff Bagwell, Alex Wright, Scott Hall, Chris Benoit, Shawn Stasiak, Goldberg etc. And he is in better shape than everyone else who still is wrestling from that company. (Scott Steiner, Booker T, etc)

Esta vez no se trata de Chavez, sino de el mismisimo Chavo, que ayer por la tarde comenzó su discurso con las siguientes palabras: “NI UN PASO ATRÁS FRENTE AL FMI, GIRAFALES Y LA RENTA DEL SEÑOR BARRIGA”. Es que la guerra de clases en la vecindad ya es un hecho consumado. Por otro lado Doña Florinda refutó las palabras del hombre del barril diciendo que los discursos antiimperialistas de chavo solo guardan escondidas claras intenciones políticas.

Si , cuando pensaste que el color rojo del traje del chapulin colorado se debia a su devoción  por Mao Tse Tung, estabas en lo cierto, aunque esa tarde que hiciste ese comentario todos tus amigos se  rieron de vos a carcajadas.

En conclusión hay dos cosas que estan claras, las tortas de jamón deben ser mejor distribuidas en la sociedad y el chavo tiene más huevos que el “cabezón” Ruggeri.

So what do you think about the WWE Draft? Whoever leaves the most insightful and/or interesting comment below, on this blog post, will win the historic ROYAL RUMBLE 2009 DVD!  No, no…not a used…factory sealed and brand new!  There are some special features on the DVD as well, including a special interview with the surprise Royal Rumble Match entrant as well as “The Randy Orton Story”.   Ok, so tell me what you thought about the WWE 2009 draft!   Here’s my take on some of the notable notables.   This isn’t my take on EVERYONE.  It’s my opinion on just the ones that I feel need special attention.  For instance…you won’t find my take on Triple H to RAW.  Triple H will be in the Main Event somewhere – will loose and win the World title a couple of times and that’s that.  Nothing new there.  Here are the more interesting moves to watch for.

To Monday Night RAW

MVP
I’m happy to see MVP get promoted to the big show.  This guy spent the majority of last year jobbing out to virtually EVERY wrestler on the roster, on all three brands!  If you don’t know, the reason why the WWF did this to him is because they didn’t want him to “pull a Christian”,  if you will. That is, they didn’t want to make him a bigtime wrestling superstar, then have him jump ship and go to TNA like Christian did many years ago.  Well, Christian wasn’t all that much of  huge star, but he had acquired quite a following!  Well, it looks like it may finally pay off now that he’s going to the big show. We’ll see if such a push materialises.  He is really quite a great athlete and deserves a push so that he can actually prove it.

Matt Hardy
After getting the rub and defeating, brother, Jeff Hardy at Wrestlemania there’s no doubt that there’s a big push in store for the chubbier, less charismatic Hardy (Matt).  Despite my overwhelmingly flattering compliments to Matt, I do like him as a heel.  Gives him more personality, and hey – he’s not all that bad of a worker either.  Alot better then that Vladimir guy.

The Miz
Why does THIS guy get the push to Raw? Wait – actually I’m quite happy he’s on RAW. With guys like Triple H, MVP, Mr. Kennedy and The Big Show – ya think this guy is really going to get a push? YA right! Hopefully he becomes the job guy on RAW. Many people seem to like this guy. Extra points for ANYONE that can tell me why I should like this guy. Not sure why. I’m not saying that he hasn’t greatly improved since he’s made his move from reality TV to wrestling – but there’s nothing special from that guy.

Mr. Kennedy
Big fan of Mr. Kennedy.  I’d like to see him back as a heel, though.  Him pandering to the fans is not as exciting to watch when he’s a heel.  When he’s a heel, he reminds me of the way the Rock was during his heel run. You remember…when the crowd would play sing-along with his promo and Rock would get upset and run down the fans. I don’t want to see Kennedy hold the mic up to fans to say his name.  Let the fans do it, don’t beg for it.  Keep the mic and just be cool.

The Colons (Primo & Carlito) WWE Tag Team Champions
Happy to see this guys on the flagship show – but who are they going to face as Tag Team Champions?  Will the WWE actually put some thought into the tag team division and come up with some new teams for these guys to face? Or is this going to be like the early 2000s WWF days where they just paired up a random bunch of guys and call them tag teams?  I’m so glad that it’s happened for Carlito. Now, that’s cool.

The Brian Kendrick
“The” Brian Kendrick is a spoof on former WWE announcer Mike Adamle who seemed to insert the word “The” in front of Tazz once to many times. Brian Kendrick (formerly “Spanky” for the old school independent fans) is one of the best workers on the roster. I really hope he gets a push to at least the Intercontinental Championship Belt. Vince McMahon (and Triple H) has never been a fan of pushing little guys. That seems to have changed a bit during recent years with seeing CM Punk as World Champion.  C’mon McMahon’s – reward the little guys, too!

To Friday Night Smackdown

Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho, alone, will make Smackdown worth watching.  It’ll also allow me to justify having to listen to Todd Grisham announce for nearly 2 hours. Speaking of announcing, is Todd Grisham and JR the best combination that they could come out with?  What ever happen to the face/heel announcing team like Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan? Like Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura? Like Michael Cole & JBL? Jim Ross looks to be in more of a colour announcing role now with the occasional outbursts for sound bites. I’m happy to see Josh Matthews paired up with Matt Stryker.  Hopefully he can keep his nose clean. Oh, right – Jericho: Not much to say on Jericho. He’s the best heel in the promotion.  ’Nuff said.

CM Punk
Boy would I love to see a feud between Punk & Jericho. What would be the next best thing? Having CM Punk cash in the money in the bank as a heel against John Cena! Now, that’ll be a way to shake things up!

John Morrison
This is another one of my favourite moves of the draft.  Morrison should be in the Main Event – and on Smackdown, I think he’ll get that chance.  You see, unlike RAW, Smackdown doesn’t have a clutter of egos at the top, so further burial on Morrison seems unlikely. However, as the WWE will remind us…ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

Kane
Kane is dull to me. Love the guy, but he’s been doing the same thing match after match.  If I have to watch another snail-festof a match between him and Khali or Mark Henry, I’m going to do a run-in and give him back his mask.

Dolph Ziggler
The only remaining member of the infamous spirit squad returns to Smackdown!  I think he’ll turn into enhancement (jobber) for the top guys – but I’d like to see him get some wins, too. This guy could be a big part of the WWE’s future. what do you think?

Ricky Ortiz
This one surprised me. Looks like they are big on this guy. I have not seen Ortiz when he was in FCW, (Florida Championship Wrestling) the development territory of WWE but I hear this guy has promise. They gave him this stupid gimmick in ECW where he throws towels into the crowd and gets his “fans” to waive them like idiots. Hopefully he won’t be relegated to that on Smackdown and can do more of the things that made him so popular in FCW.

To Extreme Championship Wrestling

Vladimir Kozlov
You ever noticed that they actually never say “Extreme Championship Wrestling”.  Always just “ECW”.  I’m sorry to see the announcing team of Todd Grisham and Matt Stryker broken up because I was really starting to enjoy their chemistry. But then again, that was all Matt. I’m sure Matt will carry Josh Matthews to a “best announcers’” Slammy.  Nothing much to say on Kozlov except that he needs a lot of work. I’ve seen some of Kozlov in OVW, the WWE’s old development territory. Here’s my favourite clip. Kozlov can be funny, too!

Natalya Neidhart & DH Smith
If you don’t know, DH Smith is the son of the late great British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith. Natalya is the daughter of Jim “The Anvil”.  I think that they were brought over to ECW to join Tyson Kidd (who came out of the Hart Dungeon – see where I’m going with this) to form the New Hart Foundation. This stable was done in OVW then fell apart when DH Smith split up from team mate TJ Wilson. Looks like it’s go-time. They even had both Tyson & Natalya wearing pink!  For those of you that don’t know, Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart were the original Hart Foundation.  The ’stable’ was re-incarnated in the late ’90s with British Bulldog Davey Boy Smit, The Hart Brothers, and Brian Pillman.

He aqui el juego de peleas del Chavo del 8, “Street Chavo”, ultimamente saco algunas frustraciones agarrando a madrazos a los personajes de Chespirito.

Un juego sencillo, los comandos vienen en el .txt que viene dentro del .rar trae a los personajes, poderes no originales, pero ps está cura de todos modos, cambienle el idioma porque leerlo en portugués esta medio cagado, y eso si, de preferencia jueguenlo en “mute” porque la música marcha pal carajo.

Papas raza, que lo disfruten.

This set by Marcin Cecko of Poland is absolutely hilarious. He does a great job distorting reality by creating kid-like adults in childhood situations. Very trippy, to say the least.

Uma campanha feita por fãs dessas séries para o desengavetamento geral de todos os episódios fora do ar das séries Chaves e Chapolin em poder do SBT. Há episódios que deixaram de passar, e há outros que são, incrivelmente inéditos até hoje, como dois episódios de Chapolin exibidos nesta semana.
Os fãs não aguentam mais tantas reprises. A América Latina exibe praticamente 100% dos episódios que Chespirito gravou entre 1972 (as vezes até antes) e 1995, na ordem! Claro que nem todos esses episódios foram dublados. Mas muita coisa foi dublada pela Maga/Marshmallow que até hoje nunca foi exibida. Essa campanha pretende pôr um fim nisso dando esse assunto a ser conhecido por todos.
