Old-Schooled #18 Event Information

In a little over a week it will be time once again for the Old-Schooled tournament to begin again with the 18th outing. However this time around the schedule is being changed up. Old-Schooled will be scheduled on April 6th instead of the 7th to coincide with Sevagaming’s Freeplay 3 event. In keeping with the spirit of the event this tournament will be free of charge. The first and second place winners will be awarded t-shirts proclaiming their victory. Shirts will be sent to the winners after the tournament and YXS – to 4XL sizes are available. Old-Schooled #18 will start at Noon on April 6th during the Freeplay 3 event. Games will be announced the Friday before the tournament. If you want to practice show up early to get in on some of the games being played. Freeplay 3 takes place at the Chesapeake public library.

Okay, it’s finally here! The Artist’s Alley Rules and Application!!!! Sorry for the delay – I was intending to finalize and post it last Tuesday, but instead decided to fall on the stairs and sprain my ankle :_;. Anyway, I’m back at work and here is the much anticipated info! You can drop your artwork off at any Chesapeake Public Library (visit the website for locations http://www.infopeake.org). An application must be submitted with each piece of art. If you have any questions please leave a comment or email Jeanine @ josther@infopeake.org

Artist's Alley Details

We are busy working out all the details of our Artist’s Alley, but here’s what I can tell you for sure. This year, we will be accepting artwork that is 8 1/2 by 11. Each artist can submit two pieces. You will be able to drop off you artwork at any Chesapeake Public Library by March 15th. All art must be family friendly – think G rated. There will be prizes awarded in different age groups. Winners will be announced during the Cosplay contest at Shobou Con. We’re excited to see what you will be sending us! Look for the application to be available next week.

Hi there everyone! I just wanted to give a quick update about the artists alley. What I can tell you for sure is that we are having one. The committee meets on January 17th and we will work out all the details at that meeting and will let you know every juicy detail just as soon as we have them figured out. So, if you have been looking for a place to display your artwork, look no further^_^
