Roadrunner Records is an American record label that concentrates primarily on heavy metal and death metal bands. It is currently a subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Warner Music Group (WMG) is the third largest business group and family of record labels in the recording industry, making it one of the big four record companies. For three decades the comglomerate was known as WEA, which stood for Warner Bros.-Elektra-Atlantic Records; three major record companies that signed and developed musical acts and, in turn, distributed product for subsidiaries and other record labels.

We are THE RIVER RED from Chico, CA. Driving, brutal melodic riffs intertwined with the heaviest of breakdowns. Vocalist/guitarist Justin Case, delivers powerful riffs blended with a deathcore influenced vocal style. Bassist Stephanie Santolo uses deep earth shattering lows that explode with rhythm and energy. Drummer Chase Reno destroys with blast beats and punchy double kicks. Metal!

Northern California Metalcore music.

The River Red metalcore band formed in July of 2010. We are, Justin Case (Vocals/Guitar) Chase Reno (Drums) and Stephanie Santolo (bass), a three piece metalcore band who is hoping to earn a chance to play on the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands stage in Marysville, California on August 11, 2011 at Warped Tour!!

We attended Warped Tour 2010 in Marysville as a band together last year. It was our first bonding experience together as The River Red and we had one of the greatest experiences to date. We’ve been attending Warped Tours individually for years and would love the opportunity to be a part of it! We’re hoping the judges will get a chance to hear our music and feel the same way about it as we do!

If you are in the Chico, CA area on Wednesday May 25th we are playing a show at La Salles! It should be a good one with Every Hand Betrayed (also in the running for Warped Tour Marysville, good luck guys!) and Into the Open Earth. It is our guitarist/vocalist Justin’s 25th Birthday!

So we have a show coming up in a little over two weeks! Chico metal will be going down that Wednesday night in celebration of our guitarist/vocalist Justin Case’s 25th year on this planet.

Yes, it’s his birthday. Yes, there will be $1 Budweiser beer’s all night long. Yes, if you are not there you will regret it. Badass metalcore from The River Red combined with other Northern California Metal bands, what more could you ask for?
