Ok, so if you thought I was mad on Mustard Day, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet! I was so mad on my 30th day that I literally didn’t go to work, I laid in bed crying for hours on end (when I wasn’t rushing to the bathroom to have yet ANOTHER bowel movement), the sound of voices made me want to scream with anger, I wanted to hit everyone who came within 20 feet of me, and I felt like I was losing my flippin’ marbles. I didn’t even put this post up that day because I was so angry that I feared I would type things I would regret. Plus I TOTALLY didn’t feel like posting! For those of you who know me, this is NOT how I usually feel or operate. I’m usually the one in the crowd who makes people laugh, tries to help everyone feel included and does everything possible to create a happy and comfortable environment around myself.

Yeahhhhhhh … this was not my normal M.O. on day 30.

Ah, detox. It’s a beautiful thing! NOT!!!

See, I’m so looking forward to being DONE with detox, but not so much the actual detoxification process. I’m VERY excited because I’ll be starting a 2-week green juice fast as soon as I order some liquid zeolite and a greens juicer, but I’ve still got some investigating to do. Well, not for the zeolite, I already know which brand I’m gonna buy; I’ve just got to wait on a tax refund before I can go forward and actually purchase the stuff.

It’s funny. I’ve never really WANTED to do a juice fast, and I don’t know if it’s all the cacao I’ve eaten or if it’s just that I’ve been raw for 30 days now, it’s just … I can’t explain it. Hmmmm …. Ok, I think this is the perfect way to say it.

I’m sick of eating.

No seriously. I really am. I feel like tired of chewing and tired of carrying around all this excess weight, and tired of the way I feel and just UCHK! Even though I feel so much lighter and happier than I did, now I feel REALLY in tune with where I am and what I need to do, and how much weight is still on me. Does that make sense? Oh! I’ve got it. Have you ever been carrying something around for awhile, and after a bit, you don’t notice that you’ve got it on you anymore. But it does slowly wear on you. Then, after you put it down, trying to pick it back up again suddenly seems like … like impossible! That’s what I feel like. Like I’m aware of the excess weight now, and I just can’t WAIT to be done with it!!!

Anyhow, that’s my little existential rant. This journey has been just a BLAST and a half, and sharing this with all of you has been a real pleasure. Look for GoRawNotCrazy.com in the next few months, and lots of free recipes, ideas, articles, videos and more about how to go and stay raw. I don’t think I’ll ever eat this much chocolate in consecutive days ever again, but it sure was fun! Look for tomorrow’s post about what I learned in these last 30 days. Later!

So I was tired a lot today and took a long nap – almost 3 hours, took Miko to the dentist (yippee, he gets to keep his tooth!) and our delivery from Ultimate Superfoods came!!! We got 5 pounds of cacao powder, 1 pound of cacao butter, 6.6 pounds of goji berries, 5 pounds of maca, a litre of clear agave, 1 pound of powdered agave inulin, and 5 pounds of Peruvian mesquite. I waited until everyone was home to open it, so we could open and enjoy our first big delivery as a family. Miko joined in, too, and we all were sticking our fingers into everything and tasting it straight out of the bag. Then Jahn brought a few bowls and spoons into the living room and Jason started mixing little concoctions. The best was the straight cacao with agave — tasted like the filling in a chocolate-dipped truffle! Unbelievable! Never had cacao of that quality before. So intensely flavored that we had to use less to get the same effect. And WOW does it give me energy!!! I’m LOVIN’ it!!! (No McDonald’s reference intended.)

Breakfast was a shake (what else?) and Miko almost guzzled his. He’s just finding out about the joys of superfoods, even though he’s tried going raw a few before and has been doing green smoothies for some time. We split a bit of our huge order up with him, so he will go home with maca, goji, cacao and mesquite.

Lunch was a salad and a chocolate candy for dessert, and dinner was just 3 dates with almond butter. I can’t believe how little I need now! I also had a few handfuls of trail mix that consisted of goji, raisins and pecans.

Weigh-in was a JOY! No, seriously!!! I went down 8 pounds in 7 days!!! I’m now at 220.7 pounds (started this “diet” at 228.6). I’ve lost 1 pants size and almost all of my back pain is gone, my knees and ankles no longer hurt, and I’m sleeping about 5-6 hours a night, with a small nap every other day or so (except for todays long one). So far so good! I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!!

So here I be … the nut job that has decided to eat nothing but raw chocolate for 30 days

So here I be … the nut job that has decided to eat nothing but raw chocolate for 30 days … just to see what happens! Now granted, even though I could probably get away, both sanity-wise and health-wise, with just plain, straight-up cacao beans (they are nutrient-packed little superguys!), I’m going to mix it up a bit – just cause I wanna. I’ll be using recipes that I created for my upcoming book, “Go Raw, Not Crazy© – with Chocolate”, and eating from every single chocolate recipe in the book at least twice during these 30 days. That’s right! Chocolate candy, chocolate milkshakes, chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, chocolate candy bars, chocolate truffles, chocolate filled candies, chocolate pies, chocolate smoothies, chocolate milk, chocolate cookies, chocolate ice cream, chocolate cheesecake, chocolate chips … and anything else that strikes my fancy … provided it has raw cacao in the recipe, and all the other ingredients are raw, too.

So why am I doing this? Well, ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been interested in magic, whether it be tricks, cures, beans (Jack & the Bean Stalk) or anything else. And in my 39 years, I’ve tried every flippin’ “magic” diet on the planet. Any diet that promised that I could eat chocolate and lose weight got my attention. But every time I tried them, they either had artificial sweeteners, which made me sick, or gluten, which I’m allergic to — and they ALL had cocoa processed with alkali!

And frankly, they tasted like crap!

Grainy, crumbly, bitter, fake tasting and just plain nasty. AND, if I DID lose weight, I gained it all back and then some when I stopped gagging down the “food”.

So here’s the deal. I want to see if I can “magically” lose weight on a chocolate diet that I create for myself. I’m not a doctor, I’m not a nutritionist, and I’m not some exercising know-it-all. I just know that I can lose weight on raw cacao because I’ve already lost some weight, just incorporating it into my diet. I know that when I eat it with maca, I feel so energized that I want to go roller skating like I did when I was 9! I know that it’s super-dense in nutrients, great for my mood and lots & lots of fun. And I know that it’s a healthy food — WHEN it’s not processed or cooked. I’ve lost almost 90 pounds already (and have lost the last 30 using raw foods). I’ve read David Wolfe’s book, Naked Chocolate, and have been thrilled to find that not only is raw cacao better tasting than the standard chocolate on the market, I don’t get any icky side effects from it like I do from pasteurized milk, high fructose corn syrup, invert sugar or any other massively processed, chemically altered, denuded-of-nutrients shell of a food.

So if it gives me bio-available protein, heart-healthy fat, I know that I’m not gonna fall asleep from carb overload or get the caffeine jitters like the cooked stuff, there’s no sugar high or crash (because I sweeten it with bananas, raw agave, dates, yacon syrup or raw honey), and I’ve got over 20 recipes to choose from to avoid boredom, what could the drawbacks be? Come follow my progress as I find out if a person can happily and healthily eat essentially nothing but chocolate for 30 days. I’m sure it’s gonna be one heckuva ride!!!

By the way, I’m not recommending that anyone else try this diet. So if you try it and get sick or unhappy or your mate leaves you or an elephant falls on your cat or your 2nd cousin’s ear falls off, I have to say for legal reasons, that’s not my fault. All material on this blog is provided for information and entertainment purposes only and may not be construed as medical advice or instruction.
CHOCOLATE: THE MAIN INGREDIENT

The key, main ingredient of The Chocolate Weight Loss Diet, is chocolate. We’re not talking ab

The key, main ingredient of The Chocolate Weight Loss Diet, is chocolate. We’re not talking about a chocolate-flavored diet elixir – NO – we’re talking about rich luxurious chocolate. Not chocolate that you’re eating as a reward for denying yourself the food that you would have rather eaten…

On The Chocolate Weight Loss Diet, you are encouraged to eat chocolate following every meal. Meals that include the foods that you love. This diet is custom-designed by each Chocolate-Weight-Loss-Dieter to include not only the foods that you enjoy the most, but chocolate at every meal AND – if you’re genuinely a chocolate connoisseur – including chocolate snacks in-between meals, too!

How can you eat all this chocolate and lose weight?

By following the guidelines of The Chocolate Weight Loss Diet, you are using the power of chocolate to achieve your weight loss goals – and we show you how.

Most people overlook the weightloss advantages of the hundreds of chemical properties that make up the mysterious product we’ve come to know as, “chocolate,” originating from the cacao bean.

Scientists are just now only skimming the surface of the vast qualities of the many ingredients that come from the cacao bean. Many of these properties promote – not only weight loss – but enhanced health-promoting qualities.

Is all chocolate good for you? No. Some are better than others and we teach you how to tell good chocolates from bad – but when you’re in a crowded supermarket, you can always find chocolates that will enhance your weight loss and health – and we’ll show you how.

Did you know, that of all the properties that exist in raw cacao, one is a powerful appetite suppressant?

Often when we crave food, we do so as a result of anxiety. The calming effects of chocolate are well-known. Thus, we can utilize the calming effects of chocolate to thwart food cravings brought on by anxiety or stress.

While chocolate has this calming effect, it also has an energizing component, so when we are depressed or lacking energy (also reasons that cause us to crave carbohydrates) chocolate supplies us with the relief that we need to keep our diet in-check.

As early as the mid-1600’s, Europeans prescribed chocolate to remedy digestive problems – another reason for weight gain.

The advantages of the Chocolate Weight Loss Diet don’t end at weighing in at fewer pounds, that’s just the beginning. For those of us who embrace the unbridled power of chocolate, we not only receive the benefits of weight loss, but also enjoy many of the health benefits from steady use of this powerful nutrient source over a longer, more sustained, period of time.

When comparing The Chocolate Weight Loss Diet to other diets or weight loss systems side-by-side, noticeable advantages include a greater rate of fat-loss, enhanced mood, greater energy and sleeping better while losing weight. Chocolate weight loss dieters are less likely to experience the irritability and/or weakness that are symptoms of other systems.

The Chocolate Weight Loss Diet is effective for both men and women. Women gravitate to the chocolate-powered diet more than men, even though men seem to lose fat at a slightly higher rate than their female counterparts.

For those that fully embrace the complete Chocolate Weight Loss Diet system, they achieve a greater loss of deep stored fat, than those who simply attempt to lose weight by, “just eating healthy chocolate.”

The Chocolate Weight Loss Diet’s main ingredient is, chocolate. But you must pay special attention to locate and obtain the highest quality chocolate to achieve maximum benefits from this system. We suggest cold-press-processed dark chocolate with no added processed sugar(s), this preserves the powerful nutrients of the cacao bean and helps to prevent the loss of muscle mass.

Think back to the last time you were on a diet… Remember everyone watching what you ate? The grapefruits, pre-packaged (obviously labeled) frozen (or suspended animation) TV dinners, homemade diet soup(s), powdered drink mixes, etc… You just knew those people were pointing, talking about you behind your back, saying, “Oh, look! She’s on another diet, and this time…” blah, blah, blah…

But now that you’re on the Chocolate Weight Loss Diet – what will they think when they see you eating chocolate? They’d never guess you could possibly be on a diet. Nonetheless, if you follow the simple rules, your excess pounds will continue to drop.

Nobody makes fun of a weight loser eating chocolate, although they may become jealous and ask: “How did you do it?” because they, too, would like to eat chocolate, lose weight and be healthy.

There is certainly no negative diet stigma related to those who embrace the – Chocolate Weight Loss Diet – in fact, it is the-diet that an overweight America has been craving, err… waiting for.

Perdeu. Quis conhecer o lugar onde ela havia encontrado tal delícia. Passei duas vezes batido. Fica na Rua Pará, em Higienópolis. Atrás do cemitério. Perfeito.

I have a new one, people, and I have to say that I enjoyed this JUST AS MUCH as a dish of chocolate ice cream. Seriously. I will also post this again in CORE format–I just have to work out a couple kinks! This is bigger than 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream, too. You could switch it up by using a different flavor of pudding or bar, too.

1 Sugar-free chocolate JELLO pudding snack

1 1-point chocolate fudge bar (such as Healthy Choice)

1/2 cup water or ff milk (this is the difference between 2 and 3 points)

OPTIONAL: teaspoon jimmies (sprinkles)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Remove the stick from the bar. Place all ingredients in the blender and blend on high. Put in a glass dish and freeze for about an hour if you want a frozen dessert. (Otherwise you can have it right away as a drink) When hardened, re-blend (with a couple drops of water if needed for smoothness). Top with jimmies if preferred. MMMMM!!!!

Well, I remember doing the research on chocolates for my website and found out quite a lot about its pros which more than outweigh its cons but the latest news about it really takes the cake!

Another study has confirmed that dark chocolate bars reduce cholesterol levels and improve blood pressure! This is thanks to the plant sterols and cocoa flavanols that dark chocolate bars contained.

The study was conducted by researchers from University of Illinois and Mars they have found that the daily consumption of dark chocolate bars improves blood pressure and regulates cholesterol levels. It seemed that the study was conducted on around 50 men and women with high cholesterol levels.

They get to eat flavanol-rich dark chocolate bars every day for a week, combined with a balanced, low fat diet…yummy…I don’t mind becoming one of them though! It seems that a healthy chocolate diet do help after all!

Anyway the result of this experiment showed that their bad cholesterol has decreased by 5.3% while their total cholesterol went down by 2%. Additionally, their blood pressure reduced by 5% after two months.

So, all those diet freaks intent on telling us chocolate lovers to stay away from chocolates, chew on this instead! Eating dark chocolates everyday is actually good for you! Well, according to the study, anyway.

Recently, I started a new healthy lifestyle program and changed most of my meal plans. Thus, my delay in posting the Chocolate Diet Day 4 and Day 5. I had to re-adjust some things to be able to fit in the chocolate consumption.

However, it is not easy. You see, I am trying to lose weight here and have even taken up a losing weight challenge and joined a fit and healthy eating club for mothers. The club is known as Club Fit Yummy Mummy and it is not exactly a diet program but more of a lifestyle change for a healthier one.

If you’ve been a constant dieter like I am, you’d know the drill. Healthy choices means less sugar, less processed food, less unhealthy stuffs, more vegetables, more fruits, more healthy proteins and complex carbs. I have been choosing to eat this way for quite a while, the only exception being chocolates.

Though my own personalised Chocolate Diets worked in maintaining my weight, it didn’t help much if I wanted to lose a few more inches off every jiggly part of my body. So, I went around looking for a suitable program which I could adopt for life and not worry about gaining an inch even as I continue to indulge in my chocolates.

It may sound next to impossible to lose weight while still keeping my cravings for chocs satisfied but try I definitely will! So, I am off to my journey of discovery and hopefully I will have something positive to report soon.

This is a recipe I got from Tracy of FYM. I thought I’d share it with fellow choc lovers looking out for a healthy, natural and easy brownie recipe. Just remember the credit goes to Tracy!

Ingredients

1 cup walnuts
1 cup dates
1/4 cup cacao powder or raw carob powder

Instructions

Place in food processor, and blend until well blended, should still be dry and chunky. (blend about 30 seconds)

Press into a small pan. Frost with frosting if you choose.

Refrigerate until you can insert a knife and it isn’t too sticky.

Cut into pieces. If you like, you can freeze these or keep them in the refrigerator.

Note: Cacao powder is the raw form of cocoa powder. If you want them to be all raw use raw cacao powder or raw carob powder. You can get these at health food stores. If you aren’t used to carob you might want to stick with cacao powder. If you don’t like that it is all raw then you can use organic cocoa powder.

Seems simple enough and you can make your own chocolate frosting to go with it if you want to. I am sure it tastes as good as the sinful version of brownie!

In my quest to look for low-fat and sort of healthy chocolate dessert (which is very far and few in between, if you ask me!), I found quite a few relatively easy and healthy way of creating our own healthy desserts…well, at least as healthy as it could possibly be.

Here is one of them:

Ingredients

Low-fat Creamy Chocolate Dessert

A cup of low-fat Ricotta cheese

A tablespoon of dark cocoa powder

Two tablespoons of chocolate sauce

A dash of vanilla essence

Instructions:

Just mix all the ingredients together until it is well combined. You can sprinkle some chocolate shavings on the dessert before serving.

It tastes almost like the real chocolate ice cream if served cold. I particularly liked this recipe as it is very easy and can be whipped up within minutes. No hassle and no cooking required!

So, you have been indulging in loads of chocolate recently and suddenly found that all your clothes

So, you have been indulging in loads of chocolate recently and suddenly found that all your clothes had shrunk. Including the ones you bought a week ago! So, what do you do? A professional dietitian will tell you to dump any leftover chocolate in your house along with other sinfully fattening foods such as chips, candies, sweets, cakes, ice creams, etc. She will probably put you on a strict, low-calorie, low-fat, low-sugar, tasteless food diet which leaves you craving for more of those sinful stuff.

To a chocoholic, like me, dumping the rest of the sinful food is easy but when it comes to chocolate and chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream, I just could not bring myself to it. It is like throwing out my BFF (that’s Best Friend Forever). It is like throwing out my lifeline. It is like throwing out the reasons for living…I am sure you get the picture.

So, what do I do when the scales are moving the wrong side of the spectrum? It is sadly true that I go on a diet too but nothing as restrictive and as boring as a normal diet. I go on my very own ‘custom-made to suit myself’ chocolate diet. And I combine that with exercise and an active lifestyle to get the pounds moving. Or simply to keep the pounds away.

The meal plan of my chocolate diet was mentioned in my first chocolate diet post and to keep from getting bored, I have since changed some of it and incorporated an easy exercise regime to burn off some of the unwanted calories. Here is my very own customized meal plan and fitness regime.

Disclaimer: This blog author shall not be held responsible for any additional addiction to chocolate or addiction to exercise (if ever that is possible!) as a result of this meal plan and exercise regime. These are merely her very own custom-made plans based on personal experience and readers are advised to follow it at their own peril! No weight loss is guaranteed but I absolutely guarantee that no chocolate will be left out!

Day 1

Morning:

A brisk 25 minute to 40 minutes walk / jog

Breakfast: Chocolate and banana shake (refer to this post for recipe), a glass of water

Morning tea break: One serving of fruits, a glass (or two )of water

Lunch: Wholemeal cheese and tomatoes sandwich (Recipe: Place cheese on bread, add chopped tomatoes and you have your sandwich!), a glass (or two) of water, small bowl of mixed salad.

Tea break: One bar of chocolate wafer, a glass (or two) of water, 5 roasted plain almonds and if still hungry, a banana.

Evening:

Hit the gym for a bout of 20 minutes to 40 minutes of resistance training. Do two sets of each exercise. This can be two sets of sit-ups, two-sets of lower body exercise and two sets of upper body exercise.

Replenish body moisture by drinking loads of water after gym.

After workout snack: A tall glass of fruity freeze (Recipe: Throw in green apples, peeled oranges, carrots and ice into a blender and blend it all together. If too sour, use ripe red apples instead).

Dinner:

Starter: Big plate of mixed salad, dressings on the side

Entree: Grilled / poached salmon / cod topped with mushroom or lemon sauce and served with stir-fried vegetables.

(Recipe for stir-fried vegetables: Cut broccoli into bite-size. Slice carrots thinly. Chop some garlic. In a pan, heat a spoon of olive oil. Stir-fry the garlic till fragrant and then add the carrots. Stir for a while and add the broccoli. Add soya sauce or salt to taste. Once the broccoli turn a bright green, it is cooked.)

Dessert: Two scoops of low-fat chocolate ice cream topped with a spoon of chocolate sauce and some roasted almond flakes.

At least another two glasses of water.

Day 2

Morning:

30 minutes to 1 hour of power yoga and floor exercises.

Breakfast:

Fruits, milk with chocolate sauce, a bowl of full grain muesli, a glass (or two) of water

Morning tea break: two glasses of water, 3 pc wholewheat crackers, 5 dark chocolate-covered almonds

Lunch: a glass (or two) of water, wholemeal egg sandwich, celery and carrot sticks

Afternoon tea break: 5 dark chocolate-covered raisins, a glass (or two) of water, one serving of fruits

Evening:

Pre-workout snack: a banana (preferably an hour before workout)

Workout: Go for a 30 minute jog or power walk. No cheating. Really sweat it out. Drink a glass (or more) of water.

Dinner :

Starter: Mixed salad, dressings on the side.

Entree: Roast chicken breast in brown sauce served with baked asparagus, carrots and tomatoes.

Dessert: A bar of 75g chocolate bar or four truffles.

Do remember to drink lots of water throughout as it is really good in cleansing your system. Do note that most of the meals do not have simple carbohydrates (except for the chocolates!), this is so that you can indulge in some chocolate at least twice a day!

I will come up with Days 3 to 5 soon. Just keep a lookout for future postings.

This is a continuance of my previous post on chocolate and losing weight. I decided to write further

This is a continuance of my previous post on chocolate and losing weight. I decided to write further on the chocolate diet since there are so many chocolate lovers out there who just could not do without chocolate so a diet is often very torturous with visions of mouth watering sweet scrumptious chocolates playing before your eyes…

Okay, so I am not going to present the chocolate diet per se but it is my very own formulated meal plan which incorporated chocolate with a sensible eating plan. Beware, I am not a qualified nutritionist nor am I a diet specialist. I am only one of those who have tried every fad diet there is out there and suddenly wake up one day to realize that fad diets just make me fat! Ever since then fad diets are avoided like a box of moldy, tasteless chocolate and I am now adhering to my very own diet plan which worked very well…till recently, that is. My fall from the sensible dieting plan is due to over indulgence but I digress. Let’s get to the chocolate diet.

Disclaimer: This diet should only be tried at your own risk and this blog author shall not be responsible for any chocolate addiction or additional pounds or ineffectiveness of the diet in losing weight or failure in the maintenance of current weight. Readers shall read this with a pinch of cocoa powder and not take it too seriously. However, they are most welcomed to try it out!

Breakfast

A glass of thick healthy chocolate shake

Recipe for healthy chocolate shake:

8oz sugar-free soya milk

2tbsp dark cocoa powder

2tbsp chocolate sauce (Hershey’s should be great!)

3tbsp oat bran

Half a medium size banana (optional)

Ice

Blend the ingredients and you will get a thick healthy shake which is nutritious, chocolatey and not too sweet. If you can’t stand soya milk, you can replace it with non-fat milk but it won’t be as healthy.

A glass of water

Morning break:

Fruits with chocolate sauce dip (however, do not overdo the chocolate sauce. Use only a little for taste, don’t smother the fruits with it!)

A glass of water

Lunch:

Grilled Chicken Sandwich (grilled chicken breast on wholemeal bread)

Mixed salad

A glass of water

Tea break:

5 almonds / groundnuts

5 chocolate covered nuts / raisins

A glass of water

Dinner:

A glass of water

Mixed salad

Baked cod / salmon steak in lemon sauce

Recipe for baked fish: Marinate the fish with some salt, pepper, garlic and mixed fresh herbs. Cook lemon juice with fish stock, a little honey and cornstarch for thickening. Wrap the fish in foil and bake for about 20 minutes or till cook through. Pour the sauce over fish and serve. Add ground black pepper if needed.

Dessert: A bar of 50g dark chocolate

Just remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day.

You can alternate the chicken sandwich for smoked turkey sandwich, tuna sandwich or turkey ham sandwich while dinner could be grilled chicken breast, baked dory or even tofu (if you even like that stuff). No red meat and no white bread or potatoes. Stick to green vegetables, white meat, wholegrain and legumes. This way it will give you the leeway to indulge in chocolate three times a day!

Again, no guarantee that you will lose weight or even maintain your weight with this plan.

As I have mentioned, creating a chocolate website and maintaining a chocolate blog is putting extra

As I have mentioned, creating a chocolate website and maintaining a chocolate blog is putting extra inches on my waist and butt, let’s not even get into the extra pounds and the upgrade in dress size. So, it is with much interest that I actively seek out the fad diet called ‘chocolate diet’ but it was not exactly what I was looking for.

The diet do contain chocolate which is supposed to act as a vitamin replacement due to its health benefits of preventing high blood pressure and heart disease. However, the meals are not all chocolate. It is the usual diet stuff of wholemeal pasta, healthy fruits and vegetables and lots of water. The only difference is that you get to eat some chocolate in the diet.

There is another fad chocolate diet which requires dieters to consume healthy food throughout but they take chocolate powder shakes as healthy snacks in between meals and also some chocolate diet pills which supposedly boost metabolism.

I am not sure if either of these diets do work but if the meals are all healthy low-fat, low-calorie, low-sugar and low-carb foods and only a small portion of chocolate is allowed, then I guess it could work. That is if you don’t go overboard on the chocolate allowance!

Besides that, I came across a really interesting chocolate product (ChocoLeans) which supposedly promotes weight-loss by suppressing your appetite. Again, I have not tried it so your guess is as good as mine on whether it really works or not. They have the sugar free and organic dark chocolate variety too. In case you are wondering why I am promoting this product, I am not getting any commission from this. I just thought I would share it with whoever dropped by here. So, if any of you out there who has tried it, feel free to comment here about your experience trying it!

So, am I still putting on weight due to my chocolate forays? Well, let’s just say I am padding up for now but I will definitely lose it with the right exercise and diet plan…if ever I get around to it! ;-D
