With the emergence of the Internet and the current addiction of people to video sharing sites, the appeal of the boob tube is somehow faltering. YouTube, Vimeo, Veoh, and whatever video sharing sites (or even internet tv) is what’s in today. Face it, our society is somehow vain that is why we want to be stars of our own show.

Este video me dibujó una sonrisa en la cara. Alguien se acuerda de Chris cocker, el de “Leave Britney alone”? Bueno, pues…

With the deletion of my Facebook and MySpace accounts, I have taken some time to play on YouTube and it’s paid off. There are now a total of 26 videos posted, 103 subscribers, and 63 friends. One thing that is missing, ironically enough, are box breaks. Most of the videos are “Vlogs” but hopefully if all goes well I will bust a box sometime soon.

En ésta ocasión, no voy a analizar ningun objeto y aunque no esté bien del todo (es una mierda ser politicamente correcto) vamos a analizar algunos especímenes fácilmente encontrables en youtube, por medio de un ranking.

Ya sabéis que mediante la web de videos más famosa de la red puedes convertirte en un ídolo de masas haciendote conocer con  un video gracioso, una canción o cualquier cosa que puedas aportar. Desgraciadamente para mucha gente, y afortunadamente para nosotros,  también puede servir para que veamos gente curiosa, ridícula, tarada o incalificables.

Como estás ya ansioso por ver, comenzamos el ranking:

10.- Francisco, el imitador de animales.

Pongo en último lugar a éste buen hombre porque no quiero mezclarle con lo que viene más tarde. Se trata de un señor de Villarobledo, creo recordar, que tiene una forma de imitar animales, y en general de ser, muy guay.

9.- John Cobra.

Con este caballero comienza el desfile. Se trata de un tipo, de Valencia, que domina noseque arte marcial, y por lo que parece, según el, si te pilla te deja el careto como… como algo destrozado. Mejor ver su defensa de Valencia y su facilidad para la dialectica.

Con semejante despliegue de vaciladas no tardo en aparecer algun enemigo…

8.-El Batu.

Si, este es el enemigo de john cobra, es el Venom particular del Peter Parker valenciano. En este caso el uso del castellano y de las artes marciales supera al anterior con creces. Al parecer es de Canarias y por el hecho de estar enfrentados, dan por sentado que ambas regiones se llevana a matar… No resultaria raro que llegasemos a ver un video inmortalizando un enfrentamiento real entre ellos… no estaria mal xD.

7.- Matias el Humilde.

Este caballero, de calaña similar a los anteriores, se caracteriza por tener, al parecer, bastante pasta, que utiliza para comprar coches, nada ostentosos, e ir a concentraciones, a competir, pero todo desde la humildad, el respeto y la discreccion. Mejor ver, como los pisos.

6.-El yonki de callejeros.

Un caso claro de un tipo que se ha convertido en un idolo por su desprecio a los convencionalismos, por saltarse cualquier tabú que pudiese haber en la sociedad y por ser un crack que coño. Se ha llegado a pedir su indulto… no os digo más.

Lo primero que te asalta la mente al ver el video es una pregunta… ¿pero eso qué es? Es el ya clásico “Efecto Falete“, desconicerta bastante. El caso es que es un/a fan que se declara en contra de todo el mundo que critica a su ídolo porque es que la verdad… a veces se pasan xD.

Uh uh, vamos entrando en el temible top 3 y entramos fuerte. Un grupo de boixos entrevistados. Podemos descubrir en el video sus inquietudes, ideología, preocupaciones… Seres a estudiar la verdad.

Es un clásico, no podía faltar. Fue justamente criticado y vilipendiado por la sociedad de internautas por comportarse como un pagafantas. Lamentablemente el video original y más largo se perdió en el olvido y no tenemos acceso a esa información. Habrá que conformarse con el corto, que ya deja entrever la naturaleza de la situación.

The You Tube channel features additional B-roll material, band introductions, shoot footage and archived videos. Frontman Rivers Cuomo reportedly sees the YouTube presence as a chance to keep the Weezer buzz alive. 

“It was mayhem making the video,” guitarist Brian Bell explained. “We were performing with all these amazing YouTube celebrites, and I felt like I had walked into my own computer.”

Yep. Sad. But the video is awsome.

Michele’s 2 cents: The video is awesome. It looks like they actually had the real internet people in the video which makes it even better. Also, I am apparently not quite as sad as you because I didn’t recognize all of the characters. *ppbbbth* (Firefox says that is misspelled. Ha.)

Combien de fois avait vous entendu parler des stars du web ? Mais si ! Chris Coker, dont j’avais parlé il y’a un petit moment lors de mon premier article sur le blog (et oui ça remonte !), ce célèbre fan qui démontre tout son attachement à Britney Spears, qui n’était pas très à l’aise, lors de quelques chorégraphies. Bref, c’est par cet hors-série que je veux que vous retraciez tout les stars du web, oui en effet, un épisode du dessin animé South Park, recense dans l’épisode 4 de la saison 12 ” Canada On Strike” (Canada en grève)

The “Leave Britney Alone Guy” will be getting his own show, Variety is reporting.

Chris Crocker is a 19-year-old openly gay  guy (not girl) from Tennessee, who lives with his grandparents, although none of that really matters.

What matters is the annoying, yet intriging video he posted about a while ago on his MySpace page. In the “LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!” video, he yells at celeb-haters, like Perez Hilton and Simon Cowell for making fun of Britney ’s recent VMA “performance.”

 This video has been viewed more than 2 million times in a single 24 hour period and has netted him a  development deal with 44 Blue Productionsto star in a “docusoap” based solely around him.

Well, thats it….we’re all going to die. It’s time to buy shitloads of Top Ramen.
