If you have never taken the time to watch, observe, talk to, play with, and learn from little childr

If you have never taken the time to watch, observe, talk to, play with, and learn from little children, you are missing one of the greatest blessings God ever gave to this earth!

“Suffer the little to children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the Kingdom of heaven.”

“of such is the kingdom of heaven”
If you ever want to feel close to heaven, spend some quality time with very young children. God says that there are so many lessons to be learned of them:

“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.” Is. 11: 6

“And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, and said, Verily (truly) I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven, Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18: 2-4

To have children is to have a great and precious gift from God.

“He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children…” Psalm 113: 9
“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward…Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them…” Psalm 127: 3, 5

If someone gave you a jewel worth millions of dollars, how would you treat that jewel? Would you just leave it laying around any old place? Would you just throw it in your drawer and forget about it? Would you just hand it over to any stranger not knowing anything about their personal character and ask them to take care of it for you?
I would guess not. Yet, that is exactly how many people in this world are treating one of the greatest blessing God ever committed into our hands. Little angelic souls, waiting, trusting, hoping, full of faith, looking to us adults to feed them not just food, but manna from heaven. Looking up to us to feed their little souls and teach them about Jesus.

Are you valuing the children God has placed in your life? I am not just talking about your own children, although they are definitely included too, but any children you have an influence upon. What value do you place on them. God places a tremendous value on them. He says they are close to the Kingdom of heaven. He says, “And whoso receiveth one such little child in my name receiveth me.” Matthew 18: 5 That is the same as God said about his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. God placed their value the same as Jesus Christ!

If you are despising any young child in your life, did you know that God has a warning to you?

“Take heed (watch yourself) that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 18: 10

Little children have a direct and instant connection with almighty God. He knows and sees everything that is happening to them the moment it is happening. There is a great woe to anyone that is hurting a little child:

“But whoso shall offend (cause to sin) one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” Matthew 18: 6

You see, we have a grave and great responsibility to the children in our lives. Those little eyes are vulnerable and impressionable. We need to be an example before them at all times causing their faith in Christ to grow. They should never be led to sin by our example. That is offending them.

“And ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the LORD.”

God will hold us accountable for what we provoked our children to. Did we provoke them, by the way we live our lives, by our harshness and by our words to sin? to a grow up into a life with the wrath of God on it? Or did we bring them up nurturing and teaching them the ways of God, with love and care, placing great value on their little souls.

Some of the things I have learned from little children:

They have a pure and simple trust and faith in God- you tell them about God, they receive it whole heartedly.

They do not hold a grudge- they get angry, but it soon is completely forgotten.

They laugh easily, find life full of excitement.

They are easily entertained.

They are eager to please and to help.

They love everyone, they don’t see colors of skin or nationality, nor IQ-

They are not fake, nor “politically correct.” They say what they mean and mean what they say.

They love to learn new things.

They have lots of energy.

They do not eat when they are not hungry.

They are insatiably fascinated with all of God’s creation.

They are copy-cats.

They love to sing and dance.

They are very sensitive to negative feelings of others. If a another child cries, they stop whatever they are doing. They desire to see the child happy again. If someone is in a bad mood, they pick up on it immediately.

Their prayers are simple and full of thank yous!

“And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the Kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.” Mark 10: 13-16

After all, it’s just a joke. Right?

Comedian Larry David is under attack from critics who say he pushed the mocking of religion and Christian belief in miracles over the edge in the latest episode of his HBO series “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” which the cable network defended as “playful.”

On the show’s most recent installment, which aired Sunday, David urinates on a painting of Jesus Christ, causing a woman to believe the painting depicts Jesus crying.

Deal Hudson, author and publisher of InsideCatholic.com, said he doesn’t find any humor in the episode.

“I don’t think it’s funny,” Hudson told Foxnews.com. “Why is it that people are allowed to publicly show that level of disrespect for Christian symbols? If the same thing was done to a symbol of any other religions — Jewish or Muslim — there’d be a huge outcry. It’s simply not a level playing field.”

Hudson said an apology from the show’s producers and writing team should be issued.

“Somebody should [apologize],” Hudson said. “When is it going to stop? When is common sense going to dictate that people realize this willingness of artists to do to Christianity what they would never do to Judaism or Islam?”

In a statement to Foxnews.com, HBO downplayed the controversy.

“Anyone who follows Curb Your Enthusiasm knows that the show is full of parody and satire,” the statement read. “Larry David makes fun of everyone, most especially himself. The humor is always playful and certainly never malicious.”

Liberals are a funny lot. Liberals are a cowardly lot.

Sacrilege is fine when it brings with it no dangers. They’ll piss on the image of Christ. They’ll display a Bible in a jar of urine. The average liberal will blaspheme Christians and Christianity to hell and back. They know that there is no danger in these acts. Most Christians will have become morally outraged. They’ll be angry, offended, disgusted by these Liberal behaviors.

But they won’t riot or murder over it.

Of course, you have random murders of Abortion Doctors committed by a random Christian every decade or so. And the Liberal will be quick to point this out as if in comparison to the Islamic Extremists who commit atrocious acts of murder such as Al Jazeera beheadings.

Take that same urine or even the rumor of urine being placed on or near a Qu’ran and Liberals will run amok with declarations of intolerance by the Christian community.

Why is it acceptable for Secularist Liberals to piss on the Bible and call it critical humor, yet, it is not acceptable to do the same with the holy books or personages of other religions such as Islam.

Is Jesus not as sacred to Christians as Mohammad is sacred to Muslims?

Mass riots were justified by the left as a rational response to cartoons of Mohammad in Denmark. Yet, Christians are irrational if/when their beliefs are demeaned by that same Secular Left.

I’d love to hear the rationalization on that one by the Secular Multi-culturists. Speaking of Culture. Is Christianity not a part of the CULTURE of the West. Why is it the Christian Religion not afforded the same respect as Islam in these matters. Piss on the Qu’ran. Bad. No matter the circumstances. Piss on the Bible. “It’s a joke. Sarcasm. Critical humor.” Portray Mohammad in cartoons depicting him with a bomb for a turban. Bad. Never mind the fact that Muslims worldwide have grafted this image into the mainstream consciousness. Never mind the fact that there is no place on the planet wherein Muslims live peacefully side by side with non-Muslim neighbors. Piss on a Picture of Jesus or caricature Jesus in a cartoon. “It’s just a joke.”

The Secular Left are cowardly hypocrites on the subject of religion. Period.

I grow tired of it.

Multi-cultural, they wish to call themselves. I call them what they are. Christian haters.

For the record, I’m not Christian. I shed that belief ages ago. That doesn’t mean that I can’t see hypocrisy when it is plainly evident.

Maybe Christians should start rioting in the streets and murdering artists for portraying their religious symbols inappropriately. Apparently, that’s the only way that the average Secularist will respect your beliefs.

I dare say that not one of the cowards would piss on a picture of Christ if he, afterwards, had to fear for his safety or life.

Try pissing on a picture of Mohammad on TV, Larry David. Hell, just try showing a picture of Mohammad on TV. I’d love to see Larry David defend that one as “playful” as a mob of angry Muslims beat him and threw rocks at him. I’d love to witness his attempt to explain to the murderers of Van Gogh in Sweden as they wielded a knife in anticipation of gutting the infidel. I’m sure they’d listen to him closely. I’m sure the extremist elements of Islam would love to murder an infidel and a Jew. Two birds with one stone and all.

Cowards and hypocrites all.

Christians need to stop whining over these things and take up arms against them. Defend your ideals. I’m not necessarily talking about violence or shooting. There are other ways of dealing with this hypocrisy. Just stop the incessant whining.

Larry David should test his comic theories on Muslims in America. Piss on a picture of Mohammad. Claim it was merely being “playful.” When he and his fellow hypocrites start using the same standard for Muslims as for Christians, they’ll have a point. Until then, they’re merely typical leftists bigots.

God owns everything and we are His managers… You probably believe that in theory already, but your giving will be a reflection of how much you genuinely believe it. God has specifically said that He owns not just the things we possess, but even the money under our name in the bank and the currency in our wallets. He said in Haggai 2:8, “‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the LORD Almighty.” So the question is not, “How much of my money should I give to God?” but rather, How much of God’s money should I keep for myself?”"

In one of the lesser know pieces by Emmanuel Levinas, he helped prepare in 1965 a three page Jewish version of Nosta Aetate for the French Orthodox rabbinate. The document was never formally issued becuase there was too much dissent. It has many similarities to Levinas’ own essays where he proposes the idea that all righteous Christians are really to be included in Israel; It is a concept of anonymous Jews, similar to Rahner’s Anonymous Christians.

Justification: View Series
Continued from Part 1

Justification provides the forgiveness of sins

The first thing that justification does is forgives sin. We cannot be declared righteous or given Christ’s righteousness until our sin has been pardoned. Paul says in Romans 3 that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s glory (v. 23), but that whoever receives Christ by faith is forgiven and “justified by his grace as a gift” (v. 24).

Further, Paul says in Romans 4:4-5, “Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. And to the one who does not work but trusts him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness.” In other words, God provides undeserving sinners a pardon for their sin. He does not justify their sinful behavior, thoughts, and motives. Rather, he justifies them so that they might be forgiven of all the wrong they have done.

Christ rose from the grave for our justification (Rom. 4:25). But if Christ remained dead, we would still be in our sins (1 Cor. 15:17). Therefore there is a connection between justification and life. Because Christ is alive, all those who are in him are spiritually alive as well. To have your sins forgiven means you are spiritually alive. All those who do not believe to Christ are unforgiven and are still “dead in…trespasses and sins” (Eph. 2:1).

To be continued.

Our vision at Transformation Bible Faith Ministry, a.k.a. Transformation Chapel is to raise transformed transformers through the renewing of the mind by the word of God that will make a difference in their generation. Our core scriptures are: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Rom 12:2) and, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” (Pro 23:7).
The word heart in the Bible can mean three things, the biological heart, the mind or the spirit. But Pro 23:6 speaks of the mind. You are as you think. You can’t live better than your dominant thoughts. To live better you have to think better. For anything about you to change it must start from your mind. The mind is the key to life. Your mental state is more important than your physical state. A physically sick man may still walk around, but his totality is gone if he is insane or sick in his mind. Jesus’ mission is to give us a new spirit and a renewed mind through God’s word so that we can have the good life.
Freedom is first a mental condition before it is a physical statement. Jesus said: “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). To know speaks of the mind, i.e. knowledge. The source of freedom, according to Jesus, is not legislation, though a key to change, but knowledge, i.e. a discovery of information powerful enough to set you free in your mind. If a man is what he thinks then he is not free until he thinks free. So it is possible to be delivered and yet not free. Deliverance is a separation of a slave from the physical conditions of slavery, but he must also be separated from his mental conditioning of slavery, a worse form of slavery. He is not totally free until his mental conditioning changes as well. So deliverance is not freedom, but it prepares you for freedom.
A dog was chained to a tree while a plate of food was placed at a distance out of its reach. It made countless attempts to reach it, but it could only go as far as the chain allowed it. It finally concluded it could never reach it. After awhile, it was unchained. By this time it was mentally conditioned to believe it could never reach the food. Although unchained physically it could not get to the food because of its mental chain. It had to be taken there physically before it could eat it and be saved from dying of starvation. The Israelites were in captivity 430yrs in Egypt until God sent Moses to deliver them from their oppressors. But although they were delivered physically, their oppressed way of thinking didn’t change.
The journey from Egypt to the Promised Land is about 35mins by air. Thirty five days of trekking could have taken them there by road, but they spent 40yrs on the journey because God wanted to renew their mind and deliver them from their oppression mentality. He determined they would not enter the Promised Land with their Egyptian mentality. Alas, the vast majority of them refused to change in their mind, save Joshua and Caleb, and it is no wonder only this duo entered the land. Others who got into the land were born in the wilderness, never knowing Egypt. God wanted their Egyptian mentality replaced otherwise in no time they would produce another Egypt out of Canaan land. The mission of mind renewal is a Herculean task. Some people’s minds are like cast iron, having been conditioned to do certain things certain ways and will not let go of those ways and things without a fight.
Just as God did not allow the children of Israel to enter Canaan with their old mind so He will not allow any one to enter the kingdom lifestyle with his old mindset. Like the children of Israel in Egypt we too grew up with low self-esteem, dehumanised having been told we were inferior and second class human beings. Now we are born again; God has delivered us from the Egypt of this world, but you need a renewed mind to enter the kingdom lifestyle.
Many people are saved; few experience freedom and very few experience freedom indeed. Many are born again but still think and live the old way. Take a man from a remote village where he is used to going to the toilet in the bush to Asokoro in Abuja where it is a different story. Though in Abuja, he still has a village mindset. When pressed to go to the toilet begins to look around for a bush nearby. When told that there is a toilet in the house, he asks how people live in the same house with a toilet. Until your mind is renewed you cannot enjoy the best of God. That is why we need mind renewal.
We have many babies in the church still behaving babyish. Though born again, they are not free. We know that condition determines conduct until it is interrupted by an external force. This ministry is set to bring about a change, to make a difference in every facet of life. When I first arrived in East Africa I often found myself driving on the right hand side, which was wrong, because they drive on the left side. I had to learn it. Returning to Nigeria posed another challenge again having been used to the East African way. This is the problem with many Christians. The truth is we are delivered from the devil’s kingdom; but we must also be delivered from his devil’s ideas in our mind or we will have a new heart with a wrong head.

The Mission of God’s Word in Mind Renewal

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb” (Ps 19:7-10).
God’s word is the instrument for the soul’s conversion. It didn’t say converting the spirit, but the soul. Your mind is part of your soul. It is the law of the Lord that converts the soul. Jesus said, “If you continue in my word then are you my disciples indeed and you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free (John 8:32). After being born again you must sit down with God’s word to renew your mind. You don’t decree old things out of your mind. You replace them with new ones from God’s word. For example, you can’t kill an idea; you only replace it with a new one. You only succeed in producing more of an idea you try to kill when you kill the man behind the idea. You replace a wrong idea with a new one. The mission of God’s word in mind renewal is to wash away old ideas, replacing them with new ones.

A New Concept of Leadership

Myles Munroe defines leadership as the capacity to influence others to follow you through inspiration generated by a passion that comes from a divine purpose. You are not a leader if you have to manipulate, coerce or cajole people to follow you; it only shows they don’t believe in you. Many of Jesus’ disciples left Him when He told them what they considered to be a hard saying. He asked the rest: “Will you also go away?” One would think He would have used underhand methods to make the rest stay. Peter replied: “To whom shall we go, seeing you have the words of eternal life?” They followed Him of their own volition.
We want to correct the concept of leadership in Nigeria. Leadership means service. Jesus said he that must be a leader must be the servant of all. He said: “I am here to serve, not to be served.” For many, leadership means amassing wealth for self. A transformed transformer will make a difference in his generation. He is the loving husband and father who provides for his family, and does not abuse them. She is the wife that follows in the footsteps of Sarah, caring for her children and helping her husband. A transformed husband does not hide money from his wife; he knows that both of them are one. He is different everywhere he goes, serving in the fear of God and leading others by example.
Position is not equal to leadership. You may have a position and not be a leader. If your mind is not renewed you can become another oppressor producing more oppressors, when your concept of leadership is oppressive. As an employer, don’t pay your staff peanuts; they are human beings. Don’t become the fattest cow in town while your staffs are the leanest cows. That is oppression. You must uphold human dignity. God told me that the way I treat my neighbour is the way I treat Him, since I have never seen Him physically. You don’t sing that you love God in church and go out to oppress people.
A leader is considerate, knowing that those he relates with have emotions like him. He knows that those he leads feel pain like he does. Nigeria needs to have a better rewarding system than what obtains presently. It is not just enough to punish the offender; we must also reward the honest.
I don’t agree with the way we treat human beings in this part of the world. We need to treat them better. They are created in God’s image and deserve better treatment and conditions. Until your mind is renewed you may have no feeling for those that are going through certain demoralising situations. I imagine a situation where the president, governors and ministers do not enjoy dedicated lines but have their residences connected to the same energy feeders and transformers like ordinary Nigerians. That way these leaders will feel what others feel when light goes off. It will help them to do better. That is leadership. Leadership means that power will be used for the benefit of the ordinary citizen. You need a mind renewal, a transformation to bring about this change.
To many believers heaven is the objective and oppression is the mindset. In the meantime, we speak in tongues but can’t speak to the banker. We have Christians who pray but do nothing. The refrain is, “Come quickly, Lord Jesus.” Jesus will not come because you are praying or that people are suffering. The condition is that this gospel of the kingdom must be preached to every nook and cranny first. We have something meaningful to contribute to our society; we preach the gospel and also touch lives. This is what we are set to do.
Imagine a hospital where everyone above sixty is offered free treatment. You don’t have to be in govt to affect people’s lives. Developed countries have less of govt involvement in many things. Industrialists are the backbones of economic, social developments and highest employers of labour, not the govt.
Mother Theresa was never a Prime Minister but she had a heart for the less privileged. She sat with presidents and went back to sit with the poorest of the poor in the streets, washing their wounds and taking care of them. This is what made her famous all over the world. You can be an employer of labour and show others how to treat staffs well. Sam Walton was the richest man in the world while alive. Founder of Wall Mart, the biggest retail company in the world, he lived a simple life driving an old pick up van. He shared profits with his workers, making them partners. He didn’t use and dump them as tissue papers. At his death he was survived by a wife and four children, which inherited $18b each from him.
We need to be delivered from the mindset of oppression. Leadership means service and being the servant of all. At death it is the lives you touch that matter to God and humanity.
We can jump and dance ‘in the spirit’ but we can’t manage our lives without a transformed mind. Some Christians said to be successful, occupying good positions with big titles in companies and earning fat salaries are still failures when it comes to managing their families and loving their spouses. Until your mind is renewed you are not transformed and cannot enjoy the goodies in the Promised Land. God didn’t stop the children of Israel from entering the Promised Land; their mindset did. Many people’s mindsets are still stopping them. A man with a poor mindset sees obstacles instead of opportunities. But challenges are necessary to get to the next level. A man with a proper mindset will tell himself, “Okay, now that there is economic meltdown, I must do something to alleviate people’s suffering?” It is this process that leads to making money, as he begins to affect their lives positively.

The Prodigal ‘Sons’

There are actually two prodigal sons in Luke 15. Both of them were prodigal in different scopes. The elder brother had a serious problem with his mind. Though a son, he lived and behaved like a slave. The younger son, though called the prodigal son knew he had an inheritance, which his brother didn’t. He told his father: “As your son, I have an inheritance. You are wealthy so I am entitled to something. I want my portion.” The father didn’t argue with him but gave it to him. He went and squandered it and then engaged his mind to think well again to find his way back home. He told himself: “I will go back to my father and tell him to make me like one of his hired slaves. I know my mother will never agree to that.”
By the time he returned home his father welcomed him warmly. He restored him to all his rights as a son and even threw a party in his honour killing the fatted cow. By the time his elder brother returned from the field there was partying everywhere. When he asked what was happening, one of the partiers informed him his brother was back and their father had thrown a party. The elder brother was so furious he refused to enter the house. When the father asked him why, he reminded him how faithful he had been all along but was never given an ordinary kid to kill and celebrate with his friends. His problem was that he only knew how to be a servant in the field, and not a son in the house. Many Christians are still in their wilderness of suffering. Though God has prepared a table of fat things before us, they are still outside suffering. This father had to remind his older son that he had mindset problem, not knowing that everything the father owned was his as well.
It is possible to be saved and yet not converted. Salvation takes place immediately a man receives Jesus as Lord and Saviour. It is a spiritual transaction in which our sins are washed away by the blood of Jesus as we trust in Him by faith. Conversion on the other hand can take a lifetime as we learn how to think, speak and act in accordance with God’s word. It shouldn’t be that you are in the kingdom but think like somebody in the kingdom of darkness. What we need largely in the Christian world is the renewal of the mind. It is Egyptian mindset to be malicious and envious because others are progressing. You too can make it.
The best way of living is living for others. Jesus lived for others while on earth, and now He is highly exalted. He was so famous that his name caused trouble in the palace and among the religious guns. Yet when in the midst of His disciples you couldn’t recognise Him. Those sent to arrest Him needed Judas’ kiss to identify Him. That is the kind of leadership we are talking about. There are people you can’t talk to any more once they acquire new titles. Their eyes are red when introduced without their titles. Our Lord was simply Jesus Christ. He had no seat at the wedding at Cana of Galilee; He was standing outside. Yet He was the one that bailed them out when they needed wine, and that wine became the talk of the town.
Our vision is that you will only do to others what you want them to do to you, instead of taking advantage of and exploiting them. Leadership is service to the people. By God’s help we are out to make a difference in every sphere of living. We need believers in all human endeavours to make a difference. We should be doing something for the community where we are so that people can feel our impact as God’s people. We are here to make life better. Get ready to sign in for this new move and let us raise transformed transformers. As it is in heaven so let it be on earth.

I listen to Pandora Radio a lot. The great thing about Pandora if your not familiar with it is that you can custom make your own radio station with music you like.

What I find amazing is that on almost all the custom radio stations I have made on Pandora, in nearly all the cases I have heard a song either performed or written by someone from Hillsong.

I remember the very first night I heard this new song called, “Shout To The Lord”. I had been at a youth rally and went home all excited telling my parents I had heard the best song ever written! Well I’m not sure if it was the best song ever written, but I know from that song the music that is sung and played in our churches have forever been changed.

Hillsong have had incredible success over the past 15 years. It seems that almost every worship set sung and played on Sunday’s in churches across the nation have at least one song that originated from Hillsong.

I think it is very obvious why they have been able to shape the worship culture of the church today. It is not because of a great marketing campaig (even though they have those); it is not because they play 21st century relevant music (even though they do, and do it very well); it is not because they are one step ahead of everyone else concerning music genre’s (even though they are certainly leading the way), but I believe it is because they have found what they were designed for by God. They have then pursued the roadway God has paved for them and they are doing this all within the gifts, talents and creativity within their own church.

God has designed everyone of us for something great! We can either accept what God made us for or choose to go our own way! Real success will come when you choose God’s way. Then you must be willing to go down the path God created. Not the path everyone else is going down. Not the path that seems easist or even the path they may seem the most logical, but the path God paved for you. Then finally you must start to create just as God planned you to create. You may not be the most creative person in the world, but you have been made in the image of God and he is the great creator, that means you can create! Too many people think they don’t have to redesign the wheel, but it is people like Hillsong who are always looking two steps ahead of everyone else and know that the wheel of today will not work tomorrow who will be the ones who go down in history as people who fulfilled what God designed them to do.

Next time you are in a worship service and hear a song written by Hillsong remember they are doing what they were created to do. My challenge to you is this, what are you doing to fulfill what you were created to do?

I’d like to start by pointing out that all of the below is the conclusion of my personal believes, experiences and is in no way to be considered scientific facts, nor should I be held responsible for possible misinformation, as all of this is told from my own point of view, my subjective data.

There’s always been a fine line between religion and science. But the truth be told, it’s two entirely different things.

Many people believe that creationism – that God created the entire universe in 6 days, is as much of a theory as evolution. The way I look at it is, that evolution is a logical theory that makes sense and explains everything it’s supposed to, while creationism is a work of fiction made eternal in the works of a single book. The exact same thing as if I were to follow the world of a any other fictional book, such as Lord of the Rings. It’s not proven, it never has been. Certainly neither has evolution, but it at least has actual facts pointing to its existence; fossils.

Other than the obvious, creationism has so many flaws. Firstly, i’d like to point out some of the things creationists could use to their advantage. I.e. a God could’ve MADE evolution, sort of like a computer macro. But no one ever suggests that, because people need the struggle.

Clearly, both creationism and evolution has flaws. Creationism: 6 days to create the largest, most complex and massive “artwork” of all time, containing billions of miniature parts, effects and organisms? And more importantly, only ONE day to rest after all that? And what about this whole schedule. No matter what we say, humankind created the calendar system. We used the skies and common sense to frame the time there is, and as such how did anyone count Gods mighty work to 7 days? And not to mention how the Bible makes it sound like he had some creepy toy store going on when he created humans “Okay big guy, we’re outta tails but we’ve got this thumb-thing.” Truly there are many mysterious events and passing in “The Holy Bible”. Meanwhile, evolution is much more bulletproof.

Certainly it has it’s flaws, I mean the Big Bang theory is kind of strange isn’t it? Now I’m not saying I don’t support evolution 100%, I’m just saying that it has no way to explain how it all started, and how it ends. Not saying that there has to be an explanation, just trying to give the creationists something to feast on here, cause frankly the Bible is basically Gaza compared to the bulletproof-ness of evolution!

But let’s not be so narrow-minded; perhaps another specie entirely created the earth and all there’s on it. Perhaps aliens just felt like doing something extraordinaire for science class, who knows.

As you’ve probably already figured out, I’m no fan of religion. I like to see myself as an independent liberalized human being. Anarchist, atheist, nihilist and what not. So to finish this, chew on this: Christians believe that God created the world, and they’re fighting to make it part of science in schools and other institutions, but there are more religions. Buddhism, islamism, hinduism and many more! Even if evolution wasn’t the truth, what would make christianity superior to the other religions out there? No, creationism simply is not science. It cannot be proven, it’s based on thin air & parchment and is not even specific.

I believe that religion should not be considered science, it should be considered faith, which it is anyway. People should have the right to believe in a higher power, whatever makes them feel they’re part of something bigger. I support that entirely, but if they try to cross the border between faith and fantasy, I will shoot them down mercilessly one by one. Here, and no more. Believe what you want, if it comes from a book or a TV-show, a great trip or a near-death experience. Frankly I don’t care, all I care for is that I can do what I want to. I’ll take responsibilities for my actions, I won’t blame it on the master plan. But if that makes you feel better, so be it. Just don’t use it in court, cause it won’t stand.

According to The New York Times this morning, violent clashes between Chinese government forces and

According to The New York Times this morning, violent clashes between Chinese government forces and Muslim Uighurs — that country’s long-oppressed minority — have left at least 140 people dead and close to 1,000 injured. This incident in Western China highlights an important fact about America’s “War on Terror.”

Just imagine if the Uighurs were a Christian — rather than Muslim — minority, battling against the tyrannical Communist regime in Beijing, resisting various types of persecution, and demanding religious freedom. They would be lionized by America’s Right, as similar Christian minorities, oppressed by tyrannical regimes, automatically are. Episodes like these — where a declared Tyranny like China violently acts against citizens with whom we empathize — are ones about which, in general, the American political class loves to sermonize.
