With Christina Aguilera’s new video for “Not Myself Tonight” it sparked alot of people going back and forth debating if it was “Xtina” or Gaga. Well folks…it was Christina, the little pop princess herself now trying something new. The thing is is that it is not new…Gaga did it first and Gaga does it best!

I’m not biased or anything I love Christina as much as the next 90′s girl. In this case though I have to go with saying that even though the song allows her strong vocals to come out, visually it is nothing new and I feel like she is just trying to make money off of someone else’s idea.

Everything from the cloths that she wears in the video to the moves to even her shoes are Gaga. The signature hand around the eye move that Gaga uses in almost all her videos Christina does in her (but has a metal piece on that makes her hands do that).

Her new video doesn’t even have anything to do w/ the lyrics. Its just her in these crazy outfits (a couple also mimic the Bad Romance video by Gaga). It’s upsetting that it has come to this that fellow pop artists need to copy each other.

I have always admired Amelia Earhart, her fearlessness, her courage, her not being afraid to not only dominate a field not accepting of women, but also actually fly around the world! What can I say..there’s something about her that makes me feel all good inside.

I also look up to, not in order of importance, Mother Theresa, Benazir Bhutto, Julia Child, etc., etc. The list goes on and on. But what do all these women have in common,besides being great, pioneers in their field, and having made their mark in history: They are not alive.

I want to know who young women of today have to look up to! It can not be Britney, or Heidi, or Paris. God help us all if it is. But where are the positive female role models? I think I can count the ones living on one hand..but decided to hit the streets instead and have none other than today’s youth answer for themselves: Who do you look up to? I asked 20 girls ranging in age from 7 to 23. Of the ones that could actually think of someone (8 people) these are their responses in no particular order.

1. Michelle Obama (Her children’s fitness programs are phenomenal and lets face it so are her arms).
2. Oprah Winfrey (Love her or hate her. Shes a billionaire and she could definitely teach our female youth population a thing or two about drive and dedication).
3.Condoleezza Rice (mentioned 4 times by different people, female, powerful, fierce, enough said)
4.Queen Latifah (showing women everywhere how to love themselves no matter what size they are).
5. Sandra Day O’ Connor (U.S. Supreme Court Justice).

Also mentioned-Hillary Clinton, Christina Aguilera.

What do we think? Is there enough good in their worlds to counteract the dui getting, head shaving, underwear flashing, sex tape making females of today?

According to MTV News, [lastfm]Christina Aguilera [/lastfm]has decided to postpone her summer tour with Leona Lewis until next year to further promote her upcoming Bionic album. Those who purchased tickets for the outing will be able to get a refund… and can anticipate new dates for the event to be announced sometime soon. A rep from the “Not Myself Tonight” singer’s camp explained in a statement that Christina “felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour dates this wasn’t possible.” In addition, the entertainer also needs time to promote her new movie, Burlesque. Christina Aguilera can’t live without the color red. Well, that explains a lot.

Charlize Theron shines at the premiere of The Burning Plain in Los Angeles on Monday (September 14). The South African star and Kim Basinger headline the film directed by Guillermo Arriaga, known for his work on 21 Grams, Babel and Amores Perros.

According to director Peter Berg, the 34-year-old actress will be reprising her role as Mary Embrey in Hancock 2 following the success of the 2008 film.

Use a matching lip liner to trace lips before filling in with color. When finished, use a thin, stiff brush to add a little concealer on the skin just above or below the lip line, where needed to prevent bleeding of colour.

*Also to make your lips look deeper and fuller, and a bit more edgy add a touch of black liner to the center of your bottom lip along with the red liner, and under the bottom lip a tad, then fill with red lipstick/gloss.*
