Telus has introduced Clear and Simple billing. There are always hidden fee’s or extra’s that you’ll be paying. In addition to your $50 minimum for a smartphone plan you’re looking to pay an extra $7 for early night and weekends or $15 for caller ID and Unlimited text messages. I’m happy to see Telus trying to eliminate some of the useless fee’s of the past, for example the system access fee. So if you looking for a more clear understanding of your cellphone bill then Telus’ new plans may just be what your looking for.

Today, the Department of Homeland Security proposed to make permanent Global Entry, a program the agency says will “streamline the international arrivals and admission process at airports for trusted travelers through biometric identification.” Under the proposed system, pre-registered international travelers can bypass conventional security lines by scanning their passports and fingerprints at a kiosk, answering customs declaration questions, and then presenting a receipt to Customs officials. The DHS announcement follows the recent news that Clear, a Registered Traveler program, had entered bankruptcy, raising questions about the possible sale of the biometric database that was created. In 2005, the Electronic Privacy Information Center testified before Congress that the absence of Privacy Act safeguards for Registered Traveler programs would jeopardize air traveler privacy and security. Clear is a Wireless Mobile High Speed Internet Delivery Company

One may have awakened by the alarm at 3:30 AM. One may have gotten up to begin one’s routine.

One may have prepared oneself and the bathroom for one’s time with the Lord. One may have confessed one’s sins while cleaning.

After one finished cleaning, one may have come out of one’s prayer closet and read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin. One may have been pleased at the message and read it again. One proceeded to the bathroom.

One may have spent most of one’s time, confessing and talking to the Lord. One prayed for the sick. Then one may have prayed for the Lord to lead one to a passage in the Bible of His choosing.

One may have opened the Bible to Psalms 142. One read it. Then one’s eyes fell on Psalms 141. One may have read it as well. One left one’s prayer closet at 4:30 AM.

One logged on to the website to pray for prayer requests. The setup may have been different and one was lead through what and who to pray for.

One may have finished up and logged off. One may have been pleased.

One may have been blessed today:

A personal bill may have been paid for one today.
One’s doctors bills may have been paid today by an organization, one may have a zero balance.
One’s book “Beyond Fearless” by Ericka D. Jackson came today.
A major hindrance may have been moved today in one’s daughter’s life.

The 3Cs method described above seems like common sense to most people, but during our intricate, stressful days, it is to forget by letting our current emotiions take over the tone of a call. If you prepare yourself in place of each visit, you last wishes as be more effective in assemblage the info you need.

TIP: If you on hold for 30 minutes with a lender, do not get annoyed and stop it change your calm state do not give a second thought to. Keep focused on the objective of your denote and remember to alwaays apply the 3C method.

Think about how you’d read a book or magazine. You’d start at the beginning and keep turning the pages wouldn’t you?

Well, the way people read on the web is very different. You might begin at the top of a web page, but then have your attention caught by an interesting headline or a link, for example:

People scan and select the information they want. They’re goal and topic orientated too – they want to quickly do something or learn about something.

A typical user will jump around a website, dipping into information he wants to read.

Help your users by:

‘Chunking’ content into bite sized topics
Keeping headlines clear – do they make sense when taken out of context?
Making sure link text is logical. Don’t use brand names or acronyms.

Keep your content visual, using:

Headings
Sub-headings
Bullet points
Lists
Highlighted keywords

Blocks of text on screen are deadly – so don’t make your readers work too hard.

Visual content keeps your copy lean and gets the message across.

Edit, edit, edit – less is more

Use half as many words as you would for a piece of printed literature. Edit content by stripping it down to the key messages and reconstructing it using just those messages.

Be harsh on repetition, waffle, redundant words and flabby text.

Fewer words are easier to read, understand and remember.

Always think:

Who is my audience?
What will they want or need to hear from me?
What do I want them to do? What is the call to action?

Clear, concise language and fewer words will deliver your message quickly and efficiently.
