Timbaland’s back at it. The video version only features SoShy because Nelly Furtado’s vocals were recorded after. We can imagine her vocals sounding so ill on this. But the opening statement: “Italy is so amazing, mom” is so American it makes us want to barf. Some American think that Italy is the only travel destination in the eastern hemisphere. Like, Rome and stuff.

We know, we’re going to the slow songs today. But, it’s just the general mood.

This warm little fuzzy number prompted us to dig back into the year to pull out her album for another listen. It’s very well written and sombre, yet not drab. Have a listen.

Charlotte Gainsbourg’s new sound is nothing like her last album 5:55. It’s rockier and louder. We are not too sure about the direction from the two songs we’ve heard. But, this single is not that great even if the visual is nice, to say the least. Her voice is still what it used to be, so there might be other tracks on the album that are good. The new album is titled IRM and will be released December 7th, 2009.

That voice. It cures a heartache!

Did you ever go to work and everyone was talking about this “hilarious video”? Did you ever want to listen to the new song of your favourite artist, but neither did you want to download it illegally, nor did you have the time to buy the CD? What do you do when you want to share the video of your brother’s wedding with friends and people all over the world?

Right, you go to YouTube.

Now, what is YouTube and how did it become so big? YouTube is a video sharing website that was first launched in 2005. In 2006, YouTube was bought by Google Inc. for the substantial amount of US$1.65 billion. Ever since then, YouTube seems to grow without limits.

Let’s look at what caused the growth. First, let’s take into account that YouTube is hardly the first company to let users share their videos. Google video, for instance, seemingly offers the same service; it even looks a lot like YouTube. However, despite a big head start, it never achieved this enormous growth.

Apparently there are two reasons for YouTube’s success. Firstly, the desire of people to share video clips with each other. And secondly – you will know that if you have ever tried other video sharing sites – nobody made it easy until YouTube.

While the virtually viral spread of some video clips has led to overnight fame for some, it left others in disgrace and embarrassment.

Altogether, in my opinion, YouTube is great tool which will not stop growing bigger and bigger in the near future.

They just won’t be happy until they see someone die. Whether at war, or because of a corrupt healthcare provider or through the death penalty. That’s what they want. A peaceful presidency doesn’t cut it for them and they are going crazy for more blood.
