Woke up and felt like making lasagne. Hence, I did. Pretty much a success except for the top part. I mistakingly put the lasagne noodle on top of the last layer of meat then the cheese when its supposed to be the cheese. So the top part is slightly crispy with loadsa cheese. Its yummy.

I added yellow capsicum and button mushrooms inside. 600g of minced beef. 400g of cheese.

CH and I are going to Zouk tonight for the Very Ace party. His tonsils is swollen though. Got Danzen, Difflam Gargle Wash, loadsa china barley water, 1 coconut for him. Even vanilla ice cream. Hopefully it’ll go away. Then squeeze orange juice for him tomorrow morning for breakfast.Vitamin C!

The weather is so hot. I want to cycle. I’m perspiring like hell. CH says he wants to bring me to develop my film at Burlington Square, I doubt I want that. Weather is too hot. I’d rather him rest ’cause tonight is gonna be a long night.

No camera to take picture of my first time beef lasagne. Sigh.

Săptămâna trecută am primit un email de la OneDay.ro, prin care se anunţa debutul colaborării cu Mojo Club pe Gabroveni 14. Gabroveni 14 … am stat un pic şi m-am gândit la adresa familiară ce mi-am dat seama că o cunosc de peste 10 ani …

1998. Hard & Heavy Cafe

La finalul anilor 1990, spaţiul a fost amenajat în club şi botezat Hard & Heavy de către Sorin Dănescu (keyboards, Viţa de vie). Au urmat diverse echipe de administrare a clubului sau a programului artistic. Afişăm aici primul fluturaş împărţit pe stradă, care făcea reclamă la noul club din Bucureşti, care se lăuda cu faptul că se cântă Live seară de seară de joi până duminică. Dacă nu greşesc (nu am stat în Bucureşti), este primul club (deschis după Big Mamou) unde se organizau gig-uri cu formaţii rock (alternative). Au urmat Lăptăria, Fire, Underworld, şamd.

2000. Backstage Club

Pentru cea mai bună parte a anilor 2000, lumea din Bucureşti mergea pe str. Gabroveni la nr. 14 pentru a bea o bere, a se uita la un meci sau să asculte o muzică bună cântată Live în Backstage Club.

2009. Mojo Club

Mojo Club ne invită miercurea şi joia la concertele OneDay Live. Seria de concerte săptămânale a debutat săptămâna trecută (miercuri 18.11) cu Blister Blue, Sophisticated Lemons şi (joi 19.11) cu The Amsterdams.

Pentru simplul fapt că se trimite comunicatul de promovare a concertelor cu o zi înaintea evenimentelor, nu putem garanta postarea lor în mod constant la CZB.

Fostul Backstage

Deschis recent in Centrul Istoric al Bucurestiului, Mojo Club (Gabroveni, 14) se doreste a fi nu doar un club de muzică live pe harta punctelor de atracţie ale Bucureştiului, ci un spaţiu cu un concept unic, prin muzică şi atmosferă. Clubul are o capacitate de 500 de persoane şi găzduieşte diverse genuri de evenimente, de la concerte live de rock, jazz sau folk la spectacole de stand-up comedy şi seri karaoke.

Just had my doctors appointment to make sure that I dont have tonsilitis anymore. They took blood, injected some echinacea into me to ensure I stay fit for the rest of the year at least. Work is crazy busy (I worked until 10PM last night, hands on, by the way!!) and I am supposed to see everyone at once at the moment. BFF is trying to get me to come round almost every night so we can watch the first season of the Tudors together. (2nd time watching it for me, but still awsome. 1st time watching it for BFF and she is in L-O-V-E :-) ) N is finally coming down from the big city, doing a gig in a town (farily) nearby, so I will go with him on Friday. Plan is, I will bring the Laptop to finish another chapter in BFFs Timetravel novel that I was working on for the NaNoWriMo. (Given up on that now as I am still on 17000 words currently. Tonsilitis set me right back.) I want to give the book to her for christmas. Hope she loves it.

Aaaanyway. Reason for why I am so happy happy today! After the doctors I ran into this guy I used to hang out with before I moved to London. He went into my favourite Cafe and asked if I fancied a quick Latte Macciato. So, I joined him, only to find out that one of my other friends was there as well. It was so lovely! Just chatted about going out, clubbing (V my other friend is a brilliant DJ) and the bar. (Boyfriends workplace.) I ended up leaving ten minutes later with a Cafe Latte warming my belly and my soul. I am absolutely sure that Cafe Latte is my feel good thing. :-) Will have to put a list together with the top then soul food!

Ok, so that was that. Actually, I should probably tell you that I am refusing to go into the bar at the moment. Still resulting from Saturday 14th. Apart from that, life is good and the sun is shining.
