L’étude des discours coloniaux permet de porter un éclairage inhabituel sur (voire tout simplement d’aborder) un certain nombre de questions que l’air ambiant de notre temps ne permet plus de poser. Le journal Haaretz rapporte ce lundi que le rabbin Yitzhak Shapiro responsable d’une Yechiva (un centre d’étude de la Torah et du Talmud) dans la colonie Yitzhar en Cisjordanie occupée vient de publier ce lundi 9 novembre un livre « La Torah du Roi » autorisant les juifs à tuer les non-juifs (les Gentils) qui menacent la « nation » juive, même s’ils sont des enfants ou des bébés.

Le rabbin se base sur des passages de la Bible pour émettre son avis et il écrit : « Il est autorisé de tuer les Justes parmi les nations même s’ils ne sont pas responsables de la situation menaçante », et il ajoute « si nous tuons un Gentil qui a pêché ou transgressé l’un des sept commandements, …, le tueur n’aurait fait aucune erreur » !

Cela n’a donc rien à voir; d’un coté, nous avons un rabbin sioniste totalement givré qui, de manière autonome décide de qu’il est possible de tuer des enfants pour sauver ” israél ” et de l’autre nous avions une opération psychlogique destinée à totalement discréditer le FIS.

Le grand rabbin militaire, le brigadier général Avichai Rontzki, a rejoint les troupes au combat à plusieurs reprises comme l’ont fait les rabbins sous son commandement. Ils ont prodigué leurs encouragements aux soldats qui se rendaient au combat, selon le quotidien.
«Haaretz» s’est procuré certaines publications recueillies par un groupe d’anciens soldats, «Breaking the Silence», qui ont documenté le comportement inacceptable de l’armée vis-à-vis des Palestiniens.
On peut lire dans ces brochures distribuées par les religieux des phrases du genre: «Avoir pitié envers un ennemi cruel revient à se montrer cruel envers nos justes soldats… Nous sommes en guerre contre des assassins».
Cette propagande rappelle «l’interdiction biblique» de rendre «un seul millimètre du sol d’Israël aux gentils» (c’est-à-dire aux non juifs).
Ces extraits «religieux» se trouvent dans la publication «Etudes journalières de la Torah pour le soldat et le commandement dans l’Opération Plomb durci», édité par le rabbinat militaire.
Ce texte est issu des livres du rabbin Shlomo Aviner, qui dirige une école religieuse ultranationaliste, l’«Ateret Cohanim yeshiva», située en plein cœur du quartier musulman de la vieille ville de Jérusalem.
Il compare les Palestiniens d’aujourd’hui avec les Philistins du passé et affirme que les Palestiniens ne sont pas des natifs de la région, mais sont arrivés pour la plupart peu de temps avant la «guerre d’indépendance» d’Israël.
Une pitié jugée immorale
Cette brochure affirme encore que si le soldat israélien montre de la pitié envers un ennemi cruel, «il sera cruel envers les soldats purs et honnêtes… c’est terriblement immoral».
Figure de proue de la colonisation des territoires palestiniens, l’ultranationaliste Aviner écrit aux soldats que «la Torah nous interdit de remettre un seul millimètre» de la Terre d’Israël à des non-juifs, «que ce soit par des enclaves, des zones autonomes ou d’autres concessions manifestant notre faiblesse nationale».
D’autres textes ont été distribués par des groupes d’extrême-droite, justifiant la mise à mort de civils et l’extermination de l’ennemi. “

C’est pour cette raison que les religieux sionistes se sont engagés dans les différentes institutions de l’État, en particulier l’armée, alors que les religieux orthodoxes ont accepté Israël comme un fait accompli.

Vous vous rendez compte des chiffres, n’allez pas me dire que cela ne reflète pas une volonté politique.
Les dirigeants israéliens ont bien compris que la guerre contre les palestiniens devenait de plus en plus immorale, mais la morale étant elle aussi subjective, ils ont du trouver des gens dont la structure mentale et psychologique leurs permettent de tuer des civils sans une once de pitié. Et rien de mieux que des gens qui croient réellement que ce n’est pas mal de tuer des innocents, parceque Dieu le veut.

Je ne pense donc pas que tsahal soit sous l’emprise des religieux, ou du moins que cette emprise est volontaire, c’est la seule solution que les dirigeants ont trouvé.Radicaliser une partie de la jeunesse et la mettre sous les drapeaux pour aller faire le sale boulot.

C’est une structure normale dans un état fasciste et raciste, comprenez que pour les élites, les concepts les idées, la religion, ne sont que des supports psychologiques qui permettent de socialiser dans un but précis.Que ce soit, le nazisme, le communisme, les extrémistes juifs, musulmans ou chrétiens, les dirigeants se servent de ces idées dans lesquelles les gens croient pour ensuite les manipuler et manoeuvrer pour la réussite de leur projet politique personel ou collégiale.

Termite

Termite nests are hidden in wood or in the ground.

Termites will eat nearly everything made of wood, including paper.  Those are live in the forests serve a useful function by cleaning away dead wood.  But when they attack our houses and belongings, that is a different story.

Oddly enough, the termite cannot digest the wood it oats.  The stomachs of termite workers are filled with little one-called creatures called protozoans.

The termite chews the wood and swallows the tiny chips.  The protozoans feed on the cellulose in the wood and convert it into foods that both the protozoans and the termite live on.

Indian Captive: The Story of Mary Jemison by Lois Lenski

Civil rights and equality have made a lot of headway against racism in the last century.

“Well, duh,” some might say.

“But there’s still so far to go!” others might protest.

I personally grew up without any particularly scarring incidents of racism. Sure, I got made fun of for my small eyes and flat face, but so did the white girl with the big nose and, personally, I think she took it a lot harder than I did.

It’s great that the social norm is no longer racism and that we’re seeing more diversity in media, arts, and culture. It no longer amazes me to see unbiased news reports about minorities or television shows featuring more ethnic characters.

What amazes me is when I find fair treatments of minorities from books written over fifty years ago, before the civil rights movement was in full swing.

Lois Lenski wrote and illustrated Indian Captive in 1941. The new cover makes it look all modern (and kinda creepy, actually), but the story is old.

It’s based on the true story of Mary “Molly” Jemison, who was captured and then adopted by Seneca Indians. Her family was killed in that very raid. Instead of fighting against her captors and hating them and escaping at the first opportunity (although she certainly did try), she learned to love them and appreciate their culture. After a while, she adopted the Seneca right back.

The real Mary Jemison lived with the Seneca for the rest of her life. She married twice, to Indian men both times. She finally gave an interview at the age of eighty to describe her capture and eventual assimilation into the Seneca tribe.

The book is a pretty faithful treatment of Seneca life. The Indians that adopted Molly were mostly kind, but there were certainly some exceptions. There were parts of their culture that Molly learned to love, but other parts with which she was unable to reconcile herself.

It’s a children’s book, so don’t expect to see any gory scalpings, and some might argue that the book is biased toward Native American culture. But considering when it was written, I’d say that it’s pretty remarkable that a book this kind to an Indian tribe that kidnapped a young white girl and killed her family was even published.

Is it the most compelling book ever? Probably not; it was a little plainly written, even for 1940s children’s lit. But it was interesting and educational and a darned entertaining read.

Mary Jemison would approve.

Es tenia que caçar vius diferents animals, per investigar-los, i alliberar-los després. Són aranyes, cucs de terra, libèl·lules i papallones. Vàrem pescar també larves de libèl·lules, i petits peixos com la Gambúsia i el Fartet. Vam mesurar quants mil·límetres feien i vàrem ficar un termòmetre aquàtic a l’aigua. La casa de colònies era xul·lissíma. Tenien moltes coses per fer jugar. Podies jugar a ping-pong, a tennis, a futbol, a volei platja, i a basquet. Per la nit vam fer una festa del pijama i no vam parar d’explicar acudits. Unes nenes van fer un ball. Classe de 5è.

In Medieval Europe, politics often involved a monarchy that controlled their territory through agreements with regional warrior nobility, who then controlled the local people. The warrior nobility lived in castles and took elaborate steps to protect themselves from competing warrior nobility, from the local people in case they might rise against them, and even from the monarch. The only safe place for the warrior nobles was inside their castles; the warrior noble could do as he pleased in his own castle, and entering it uninvited was considered a potential act of war.

There was a large income disparity between warrior nobility and the local people (peasants, serfs, etc). Writings from the late 1500s indicated the common belief the everyone’s home was in effect their castle; people were free to live without the constant watch of the warrior nobles in their own home (no matter its size) and entering uninvited was not to be done. In his 1581 work “The Stage of Popish Toyes: conteining both tragicall and comicall partes” Henri Estienne states that “youre house is youre Castell.” In the same year, Richard Mulcaster wrote in “Positions, which are necessarie for the training up of children” that “He (the householder) is the appointer of his owne circumstance, and his house is his castle.” Within your home, you have the right to expect privacy.

In 1604 the “castle” terminology was first written into law by Sir Edward Coke, then the Attorney General of England. Sir Edward wrote in Semayne’s Case (77 Eng. Rep. 194; 5 Co. Rep. 91) that “the house of every one is to him as his castle and fortress, as well for his defence against injury and violence as for his repose.” He added “in all cases when the King is party, the sheriff may break the party’s house, either to arrest him, or to do other execution of the K(ing)’s process, if otherwise he cannot enter. But before he breaks it, he ought to signify the cause of his coming, and to make request to open doors.”

Sir Edward Coke’s writing in Semayne’s Case became an important factor in English law, and its concepts later became the basis of the knock-and-announce principle in American law and more importantly of the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution. The Fourth Amendment states “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.” There is no King or warrior noble now; in America the federal government or its agencies should not invade your home or your privacy without probable cause and without a warrant.

The Fourth Amendment was one of the Bill of Rights, written by James Madison in 1789 and passed into law in 1791. At that time a primary concern of warrants and seizures in the colonies had been the home invasions and seizing of colonists’ property by British government tax collectors. In the mid 1700s this had been a huge problem, and in 1761 a five hour court petition by James Otis Jr. passionately denouncing British government and government agent practices made him such a hero that he was later elected to the Massachusetts General Assembly. John Adams was in the room at the time and concurred with Otis, labeling the events Otis described “as the spark in which originated the American Revolution.” Later, with the revolution finally won, an American’s home would be his or her castle too, and Americans would have the right to expect privacy when inside their homes.

Two hundred years later America still has the Fourth Amendment, but it is being interpreted in entirely new ways. Kings, warrior nobles, tax collectors or government agencies no longer have to knock down your door in order to invade your castle. Instead, they record your internet traffic, list your credit card purchases, tape your telephone calls, copy your bank records, and film and photograph you day and night. “Reasonable search” and “probable cause” are also open to interpretation. On October 28, 2009 the New York Times quoted Valerie Caproni, the F.B.I.’s general counsel as stating “Those who say the F.B.I. should not collect information on a person or group unless there is a specific reason to suspect that the target is up to no good seriously miss the mark… The F.B.I. has been told that we need to determine who poses a threat to the national security — not simply to investigate persons who have come onto our radar screen.” In other words, investigate everyone until you find someone suspicious.

This is the nature of the Patriot Act, which was signed into law on October 26th, 2001 by George W. Bush. This legislation was rushed through Congress in the six weeks immediately following 9/11 and was passed though some Senators and Representatives openly admitted having not read it. Such was the need at that moment to quickly do something, anything to heal.

What happened on 9/11 was so counter-intuitive that our normal emergency responses might not have been effective. We knew how to address the immediate impact, but were confused by the twisted minds of those who had caused the event. How could we bring justice? As people tried to figure this out some action taken was heroic, and other action was ineffective and occasionally contemptible. In hindsight the spirit of Patriot Act is admirable and gives greater power to those who are supposed to protect us. The Patriot Act clearly allows liberties to be trampled though. Denying the liberties of American people in order to protect the liberties of American people makes no sense whatsoever. Liberty is not a three dimensional object; it is not something that can be cordoned off and stored in a secure facility while criminals are caught. Liberty is a concept, is lived as an experience, and is expressed through actions. Liberty comes with risks. It sounded risky to King George III, who used his military against American colonists, and it sounded risky to George W. Bush, who in signing the Patriot Act began to use the FBI and other government agencies against American citizens.

The USA Patriot Act is still law now, and has come back into the news again because the FBI’s Domestic Investigations and Operations Guide has been made public. This Guide shows us the criteria the FBI uses to determine which Americans should be considered potential suspects, and therefore targets for spying. Originally, reasonable suspicion and a warrant were necessary in order to invade the home of a suspect. Now, the FBI appears to be suspicious of all Americans, and warrants may or may not even be needed for the spying to begin.

It has now been eight years since 9/11, and eight years since the Patriot Act began formally allowing for our privacy to be invaded. My sincere hope is that our newly elected officials will revise the Patriot Act so that it respects the liberties guaranteed to American citizens in our Constitution. My gut feeling though is that after eight years of invading our castles, our government is highly unlikely to pull its eyes and ears out of our bank accounts and bedrooms and every single other nook and cranny of what we thought were our personal lives.

At the end of world war two, Briton became bankrupt. Waging a war is not a joke. Some how, they wanted to get rid of the colonies, because, now they can exploit us, without the botheration of fighting and maintaining colonies.
 We welcome foreign investment with  both hands folded in a namaste.
What does it mean? When money is invested in India, they exploit our resources and cheap labour, to reap enormous profit. This is what Briton was doing when we were their colony. SO WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
If we use our brains, we can progress without foreign money. Welcome black money. Abolish all taxes. Ban strikes and bandhs.
Reduce the number of government staff, reduce salary of all, including ministers, to minimum subsistance level. INTRODUCE STRICT RATIONING. Sell all things at the same price throughout India. Regulate production acording to the needs.
 This is how they were doing in Russia.

 During post war reconstruction in Germany, WHICH WAS REDUCED TO ASHES BY BOMBARDMENT,  people worked hard, as only Germans could do.
They never recceived any salary.
This is how Israel is doing now. There is no Capitalism there.
 Life is more important than anti-communism.
 Or else, do not abandon Capitalism. Hold on to the vampire and perish.

Soon all these colonies will be transported to Masaka to start the training school. We will have to do a pre flight check to make sure we understood the stucture of each and every one of the hive in order to have them transferred without any hiccups.

Helmut and I had been keeping bees in our garden in Kampala for the last 5 years. All good things must come to an end. He will be leaving Uganda soon and I had taken the task to adopt his bees. They will come in very handy for my training school at Timothy Centre, Masaka.

An amazing friend that shared the same passion as I. In fact his experience in beekeeping is far more greater than mine for he has been based in a few African countries and he had always kept bees.

We went to his place around 1930hrs but the rain had disrupted our schedule and finally at around 2045hrs, the sky managed to clear and we proceed on with the checks.

Francis, my bee master, who will be the overall in charge of the training school at Timothy’s, assisted me is making my rounds. So far I am very pleased with his performance and the way he handles the bees, although there are still a lot of rooms for improvement.

We had to perform our harvest and check in the night because Kampala is really saturated with residential housing and we do not want the bees to disturb the neighbors should they became cranky.

There are a few reasons why we are harvesting some of the honey. When the volume of honey is reduced, the bees tend to be less aggressive because they have less honey to protect. At the same time, the hive will be much lighter for us to transport them for the 2 hrs drive.

Comb honey is highly in demand from the expatriates community because these “Muzungus” honey lover truly appreciate fresh comb honey harvested directly from the hive without going through any processing or filtering. Honey at its purest!

The fascinating sight of having the comb honey being sliced open, watching the liquid gold flowing down onto the platter, makes one wonder how nature had created such a small yet dynamic insect, being able to interact socially amongst themselves without a single conflict.

Although African bees are known to be very aggressive, they still do display its gentle side, provided we as human being, listen to them more attentively and not try to force ourselves onto them during harvesting. No clashes will occur.

The result – beautiful comb honey with little or no casualties on both parties. Many a times, bee farmers are too eager to get the job done. They approached the hive with only one intention…… get the honey and go. Whether the bees are destroy or not is secondary. To me, this is honey hunting.

Whenever I harvest honey, I will always think of this friend of mine, Joanna Yue. We used to play squash together back home occasionally and will always share her squash knowledge when we played. She once told me that in order to play good squash, I have to think of the process, not the outcome. So long as I set the process right, the outcome will be right.

In beekeeping, I applied the same principle. Thinking of the process, by listening to the bees, observing their movement and behaviour, practicing patience. The outcome will see me having that beautiful comb taken out from the hive successfully with little or no stings. I do feel a great sense of achievement whenever I managed to harvest fresh comb honey without agitating the bees and being able to keep their temperament at bay.

Every road that we walked, every path that we take, it’s all about life experiences. It’s just a matter of how one adapt to the situation and environment. Even a young lady nearly half my age, had shared a life skill so valuable that I am applying it now.

La Cour de Luxembourg a été saisie par la justice allemande, devant laquelle la société Brita avait déposé un recours. Brita avait voulu importer en Allemagne des gazéificateurs d’eau, des accessoires et des sirops fabriqués en Cisjordanie par la société Soda-Club.

Elle voulait bénéficier pour ces produits d’un régime préférentiel de droits de douane prévu par un accord commercial entre l’UE et Israël. Mais les autorités allemandes ont refusé.

L’avocat général a également estimé jeudi que les produits ne pouvaient pas non plus bénéficier d’un autre accord commercial, entre l’UE et l’autorité palestinienne, faute de disposer d’un certificat d’origine délivré par les autorités palestiniennes.

V – Conclusion

140. Au vu de ce qui précède, nous proposons à la Cour de répondre de la manière suivante au Finanzgericht Hamburg:

«1) Les autorités douanières de l’État d’importation ne sont pas liées par le résultat du contrôle a posteriori effectué par les autorités douanières de l’État d’exportation dans le cadre de la procédure de contrôle prévue à l’article 32 du protocole n° 4 à l’accord euro‑méditerranéen établissant une association entre les Communautés européennes et leurs États membres, d’une part, et l’État d’Israël, d’autre part, lorsque le différend existant entre les autorités douanières des États parties à cet accord porte sur l’étendue du champ d’application territorial dudit accord.

2) En outre, les autorités douanières allemandes n’étaient pas dans l’obligation de soumettre, au comité de coopération douanière, le différend qui les oppose aux autorités douanières israéliennes.

3) Des marchandises certifiées par les autorités douanières israéliennes comme étant d’origine israélienne, mais dont il s’avère qu’elles sont originaires des territoires occupés et, plus précisément, de Cisjordanie, ne peuvent bénéficier ni du régime préférentiel en vertu de l’accord euro‑méditerranéen établissant une association entre les Communautés européennes et leurs États membres, d’une part, et l’État d’Israël, d’autre part, ni de celui instauré par l’accord d’association euro‑méditerranéen intérimaire relatif aux échanges et à la coopération entre la Communauté européenne, d’une part, et l’Organisation de libération de la Palestine (OLP), agissant pour le compte de l’Autorité palestinienne de la Cisjordanie et de la bande de Gaza, d’autre part.»

Ahora que los niños y niñas ya han vuelto de las colonias, retomamos la propuesta que Mª José (la mamá de Judit) nos hacía sobre organizar una salida de un día a la casa de colonias. La propuesta planteaba que fuera pronto, para que no hiciera mucho frío y para que los niños y niñas lo tuvieran reciente y nos pudieran enseñar todo. Quizás pudiera ser a mediados de Noviembre ya que el primer fin de semana es el 1 que es muy mal día y parece que el 8 hay familias que también tienen hijos o hijas en otro curso que está organizando una costillada. Así que nos iríamos al 15.

El único problema que le veo es la distancia, ya que la casa de Colonias está bastante lejos y podría implicar de 3 a 4 horas ida y vuelta. Hay dos posibles recorridos:

1) Por autopista de peaje (5 euros cada recorrido) serían 126 km. y más o menos 1:30 horas: tomar la AP7 hasta la salida 6 pasado Girona y luego tomar la C66 (Seguir direcció Banyoles, fins a la sortida Banyoles Sud. Seguir les indicacions direcció “l’Estany de Banyoles”, i un cop hi arribeu agafar direcció Mieres-Santa Pau. Passat Sant Miquel de Campmajor, al km 21, trobareu la desviació de la casa de colònies a ma dreta). Mapa

2) Por autovía (1,5 euros por recorrido) serían unos 133 km. y un poco menos de 2 horas: tomar la C17 hacia Vic, circunvalar Vic y tomar la salida Manlleu/Torreló Sud, para tomar la C37 y pasar el nuevo puente de Bracons, hasta Olot y seguir hasta la casa.

La casa de colonias se llama el Xalió y está en Sant Miquel de Campmajor. El teléfono 972570105. Mª José dijo que se ofrecía a llamarles y ver opciones, así que adelante y nos cuentas  ¿vale?.

(Part One)
Four Thousand Gather in an American Field
The same power, which attended George Whitefield’s evangelistic meetings in Britain, was also very evident in America.

Let’s take a closer look at the kind of excitement generated when it was announced that he would be preaching. There is little doubt that the description of the gathering we are about to enjoy is not exceptional but was rather typical of Great Awakening meetings certainly until 1745 in America.

On October 23 1740, during his second American visit, he preached at Middletown, Connecticut. Whitefield states in his Journal with unpretentious familiarity, ‘Preached to about four thousand people at eleven o’clock.’

Obviously, he felt there was nothing particularly unusual about the meeting.  History has, however, preserved a spectator’s account of the same meeting, which makes fascinating reading.

Nathan Cole, one of the 4000 present, describes the scene when the news that Whitefield would preach was announced:

‘Now it pleased God to send Mr. Whitefield into this land and I longed to see and hear him.

‘Then one morning, all on a sudden, there came a messenger who said, ‘Mr. Whitefield is to preach at Middletown this morning at 10 O’clock.

‘I was in my field at work.  I dropped my tool that I had in my hand and ran home and through the house and bade my wife to get ready quick to go and hear Mr. Whitefield preach.

‘I ran to my pasture for my horse with all my might, fearing that I should be too late to hear him and took up my wife and went forward as fast as I thought the horse could bear,

‘and when my horse began to be out of breath I would get down and put my wife on the saddle and bid her ride as fast as she could and not stop or slack for me except I told her.

‘And so I would run until I was almost out of breath and then mount my horse again.

‘We improved every moment to get along as though we were fleeing for our lives, fearing we should be too late to hear the sermon, for we had twelve miles to ride in little more than an hour.’

La tournée russe de la secrétaire d’Etat américaine Hillary Clinton, les 13 et 14 octobre, n’a pas donné le résultat escompté par Washington dans le volet iranien, a déclaré vendredi à RIA Novosti le directeur général du Centre d’étude de l’Iran contemporain Radjab Safarov.

“La première visite de Mme Clinton en Russie en qualité de secrétaire d’Etat s’est soldée somme toute par un échec. Il n’est pas un secret que la question iranienne a occupé une place primordiale lors de ses négociations avec la partie russe. La chef de la diplomatie américaine cherchait à consolider le succès remporté par Washington dans ce domaine trois semaines plus tôt, au cours du sommet du G20 à Pittsburgh”, a affirmé M.Safarov.

Selon lui, le président russe Dmitri Medvedev avait déclaré à Pittsburgh que “dans certains cas, les sanctions étaient inéluctables”. Ces paroles ont fourni aux Etats-Unis l’occasion de parler de succès de leur position.

“S’agissant du dossier iranien, Washington a accueilli ce geste de bonne volonté russe comme une nouvelle position de Moscou et n’a rien fait pour encourager l’Iran à chercher une solution mutuellement acceptable à son problème nucléaire”, a constaté l’expert.

Il a rappelé que la rencontre, le 1er octobre à Genève, entre l’Iran et les six pays médiateurs avait abouti à une série de résultats positifs: la décision de poursuivre les négociations sur le dossier nucléaire iranien et le consentement de Téhéran à admettre les inspecteurs de l’AIEA au deuxième site iranien d’enrichissement d’uranium. Ces résultats “ont engendré l’espoir d’une solution diplomatique du problème”, a souligné l’expert, ajoutant qu’il serait “intempestif de discuter de sanctions tant que les négociations se poursuivaient”.

D’après M.Safarov, “le soutien apporté par Moscou aux nouvelles sanctions contre Téhéran entraînerait une dégradation substantielle des relations russo-iraniennes dans tous les domaines. Cette démarche porterait également préjudice aux relations russo-chinoises, car ces sanctions mettraient en danger les intérêts de Pékin qui investit d’énormes ressources dans les gisements iraniens de pétrole”.

Je crois que cette fois c’est plié, les russes et les chinois s’opposeront à des sanctions contre l’Iran.Je comprends mieux la position d’Obama, et de Robert Gates, il n’y a que Clinton à la solde des extrémistes juifs qui n’a pas encore compris la situation.Les États-Unis d’amérique n’ont ni les moyens financiers, ni le leadership nécessaire pour attaquer l’Iran.
En une année, la situation stratégique mondiale a fortement évolué.Ce n’est pas tant le formidable essort économique chinois qui est vraiment important, c’est la plus que très critique situation économico-sociale des USA qui est le problème.
Comme vous le savez, ce ne sont que les manipulations et les mensonges qui tiennent le système à bout de bras, lorsque les 5 banques arreteront de spéculer et que la FED n’achetera plus ses propres bons du trésor, c’est l’ensemble de la structure économique et sociale des états-unis qui sombrera.
Tant que cela n’est pas arrivé, les USA d’Obama(le nobelisé) ne pourront pas aider Israél à agresser l’iran.En revanche, une fois que l’armée ou je ne sais quelle loi martiale sera instaurée, je pense que les USA pourraient devenir encore plus militariste.

La Chine est devenue un acteur majeur dans le monde, l’explication de l’expert russe est tout de même surprenante, la russie se ferait mal voir des chinois si elle soutenait une attaque contre l’Iran.

À ce jour, tout laisse penser que les russes et les chinois s’opposeront à une guerre contre la République Islamiste, et je ne pense pas qu’Obama suivra les pas de Bush dans une guerre envers et contre toute la planète.

Les lignes continuent à bouger rapidement, Israél est en train de s’isoler, lieberman a dit qu’il n’y aura pas de paix avec les palestiniens, les extrémistes juifs qui occupent la palestine risquent de devenir encore plus dangeureux si les USA les abandonnent.

Els voltants de Barcelona estan plens de possiblilitats de passar un bon matí, fent pocs kms. i gaudint de la natura. El parc de la Serralada de Marina és molt familiar, de paisatges senzills, camins amples i entorn amable. Està ple de rutes fàcils de fer, a peu o en bici, planeres i agradables, que us portaran a racons d’una bellessa poc estrident, cassolana, però asequibles per a totes les edats. Avui us en volem proposar una. La que des de Santa Maria de Martorelles us portarà, en primera instància, a la Font de la Mercè. Es tracta d’un recorregut mínim, que no arriba al parell de kilòmetres, molt adequat per famílies amb nens petits. L’inici és la casa de colònies de Can Girona. S’hi arriba per la carretera què, des de Mollet, o de Sant Fost de Campcentelles, puja a Martorelles i, després a Santa Maria de Martorelles. Abans d’arribar a aquesta darrera població, quan ja la teniu a tocar, heu de girar a mà esquerra seguint les indicacions de “Can Girona”. Aparqueu al final del carrer o a l’inici de la pista de terra. Aquí comença l’excursió. Heu de passar tocant la pared de can Girona. Després veureu la bassa de reg més gran de Catalunya. Més endavant el camí, ben ample, entra en una zona de bosc de ribera. En 10 minuts arribeu a la Font de la Mercè. Un lloc molt bonic. Un camí planer, gens cansat. La font raja tot l’any, amb sequera o sense. Des de la font podeu fer diferents rutes, totes ja més difícils, amb pujades pronunciades. Podeu anar fins el castell de Sant Miquel, damunt Montornés, que domina tota la plana des de les seves ruïnes. O bé pujar cap al poblat ibèric de CastellRuf, talaia dobre el Vallés, o visitar el dolmen amagat en mig del bosc. O la secreta font d’en Gurri. Però això ja no és tan fàcil. Una matinal amb infants pels boscos que rodejen Santa Maria de Martorelles és molt agradable. Animeu-vos. Només a 15 kms. de Barcelona.

Está lleno de rutas fáciles de hacer, a pie o en bici, llanas y agradables, que le llevarán a rincones de una belleza poco estridente, casera, pero asequibles para todas las edades. Hoy os queremos proponer una. La que desde Santa Maria de Martorelles les llevará, en primera instancia, hasta la Fuente de la Merced. Se trata de un recorrido mínimo, que no llega al par de kilómetros, muy adecuado para familias con niños pequeños. El inicio está en la casa de colonias de Can Girona. Se llega por la carretera que, desde Mollet, o de Sant Fost de Campcentelles, asciende a Martorelles y, después hasta Santa Maria de Martorelles. Antes de llegar a esta última población, cuando ya la tienen al lado, deben de girar a mano izquierda siguiendo las indicaciones de “Can Girona”. Aparquen el final de la calle o al inicio de la pista de tierra. Aquí comienza la excursión. Debe pasar tocando la pared de Can Girona. Después veran la balsa de riego más grande de Cataluña. Más adelante el camino, amplio y llano, entra en una zona de bosque de ribera. En 10 minutos llegaran a la Fuente de la Merced. Un lugar muy bonito. Un camino llano, nada cansado. La fuente mana todo el año, con sequía o sin ella. Desde la fuente pueden hacer diferentes rutas, todas ya más difíciles, con subidas pronunciadas. Pueden ir hasta el castillo de San Miguel, sobre Montornés, que domina toda la llanura desde sus ruinas. O bien subir hacia el poblado ibérico de Castellruf, una atalaya dobre el Vallés, o visitar el dolmen escondido en medio del bosque. O la secreta fuente de Gurri. Pero esto ya no es tan fácil. Una matinal con niños por los bosques que rodean Santa Maria de Martorelles es muy agradable. Animaos. Sólo a 15 kms. de Barcelona.

During my visit to the Beta Chi colony of AKL was a great time. It is always good to go and work with colonies. The men are working towards their chartering this year. In meeting with the men it seems as though they are getting close to meeting all of the requirements for chartering. We spoke about what all still needs to be accomplished and how they are going to meet those requirements. The men additionally are going to work on their petition to charter and try to submit it this semester so they would be able to charter early on next semester. It is great to see these men working hard and getting back on track to being able to charter.

An invasive, stinging ant called the Little Fire Ant (LFA) has been discovered on a farm in Waihee, on Maui.  Agricultural officials say it appears that the ant infestation is confined to a ½-acre area on the farm and the Hawai`i Department of Agriculture (HDOA) is preparing an eradication program.  Although this ant species has been on the Big Island since at least 1999, this is the first discovery of the ant on Maui.

LFA are tiny ants, measuring 1/16^th inch long, are pale orange in color and move slowly.  They can produce painful stings and large red welts and cause blindness in pets.  They can build up very large colonies on the ground and in trees and other vegetation and completely overrun a property.  They can also freely move into homes..

The following is a chronology of events on Maui:

On October 2, 2009, the HDOA’s entomologist on Maui followed up on a call about ants stinging people on a farm in Waihee.  Ant specimens were collected and sent to Honolulu, where the ant was positively identified as LFA, Wasmannia auropunctata, on October 5th.

On October 6th, HDOA’s Maui entomologist and two Plant Quarantine inspectors surveyed Waihee Elementary School, which is located about ¼ mile from the infested farm.  No LFA were detected at the school.

From October 7 through the 13th, staff from Honolulu and the Big Island joined the Maui crew to conduct surveys at the infestation site and determined that LFA is confined to about 1/2 acre of the property.  Surveys determined that the ant did not occur in the surrounding area, which includes macadamia nut fields and other private lands.

HDOA is working with the landowner, to eradicate the ant on that property.  HDOA is using a combination of techniques to confine the ants and eradicate them, which involves using two types of ant baits and restricting the movement of infested material off and within the property.  Entomologists report that, by the size of the ant colonies, LFA may have been at the site for about one year.

The department is also conducting trace back and trace forward research to determine the original source of the ants and the potential places where it may have been moved.

HDOA has been conducting surveys for this ant throughout Maui, but will increase this effort by training Maui County field crews about this stinging ant and the Maui Invasive Species Committee (MISC) on how to conduct surveys for LFA at high-risk areas on Maui. MISC has received funding from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to conduct these surveys.

HDOA would like to request the public’s help in determining if there are other infestations on the island.  Suspected LFA or other stinging ants on Maui should be reported to the Maui office of HDOA Plant Quarantine Branch at 873-3962 or to the State’s toll-free PEST HOTLINE at 643-PEST (7378).
