I don’t normally stream the music shows unless I’m bored and have time. Thus, I totally missed After School’s comeback on Music Bank with their new song Because of You. I hate JungAh’s hair T____T, why the heck did they cut it. Bekah on the other hand looks really nice with her hair. Gahee and new member Raina (Reina?) really stood out (though they did have the most lines in the song. I could have sworn the others had more in the studio version.) The other new member, Nana, had one line so she didn’t really stand out. Raina was a WOW factor. Pretty strong vocals for a new girl. And I must spazz about Gahee’s outfit. Women in suits = <3
If only the back wasn't cut off. Bekah and UEE were rocking their outfits too. Others were ok, but Raina's didn't really seem to do her justice.

I’m liking the song a lot more now that I saw it visually – if that makes any sense. All the girls performed really well for being away for so long. I was a little disapointed with the dance but I think it will grow on me, plus it’s the singing that’s most important.

The outfits were nice. I think that’s the first time I’ve heard UEE sing with the group, she wasn’t bad but I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt seeing as it’s been a few months. I was also dispointed to see that Nana got one line, not really showing off her vocals.

Now, I like Raina, I just hope she doesn’t take the main lead vocal because I adore Jungah’s voice, it’s more unique/diverse and stronger in my opinion. Other than that I’m looking forward to another performance on Music Core Inkigayo.

Whoa… blast from the past…

Some of you may remember the female r&b group One Vo1ce from back in the day. They were kind of like the female answer to Kai. Doesn’t ring a bell? Well you missed out on a great piece of Asian American music history.

But in an unexpected turn of events, they are making a comeback! They’ve just released a new single entitled ‘Time to Live Your Life’ which you can hear on their myspace.

Seo In Young revealed on the 23rd that Jewelry will be making a comeback in early December. They will be returning with a repackaged album and a new a ballad track as their main song.

Seo In Young stated:

“Lately Park Jung Ah and I have been thinking, performances are important, but we want to show off our vocals more and let fans listen to our ballad. Lately a lot of the rookie groups have been showing great performances, which makes us proud, but we are preparing to show a different style.”

Finally, Seo In Young also revealed that she will be returning with a solo album next year and therefore will be putting a lot of thought and preparations into it.

With all the new rookie girl groups, did anyone even miss Jewelry? I totally forgot about them until now.

They're back again...

US funk rockers The Red Hot Chilli Peppers have announced their comeback gig after a year long hiatus.

They will play at the charity concert MusiCares 2010 on the 29th of January next year, in honouring Neil Young for his services to the musicians’ charity.

It is the first time the whole group has played together since they completed the final leg of their Stadium Arcadium Tour.

In May 2008, vocalist Anthony Kiedis announced the band was taking a break for “at least a year”.

The band are currently recording their follow-up album from 2006’s two-disc “Stadium Arcadium, and are hoping to have it released next year.
