67. Stand up for a cause I believe in by having a protest, speaking out, etc.

Sorry I didn’t even make a start post for this, I didn’t even realize I was doing it!
Yesterday I took part in Day of Silence at my school. I wasn’t exactly “having a protest” or “speaking out” – I wasn’t speaking at all! We were supporting children’s whose rights aren’t being upheld according to the UN Convention on the Rights of a Child. Our silence shows their silence, in the hopes that people can realize what a big deal this is. And really, it is! You can get more information on it here.

A performance appraisal is one of the best and most important ways to recognize a person. When you recognize people in this way you accomplish two objectives. You let the person know how you feel about him and you provide a permanent documentation of the recognition. The documentation will be important to the person’s future growth and advancement within the company.

When you recognize a person through the performance appraisal, make sure you provide as complete a list as possible of his major accomplishments. As you note the accomplishments, be specific. A person who is unfamiliar with the work of the area should be able to read the appraisal and get a fairly complete picture of the person’s accomplishments.

I am a fan of discount Seiko watches – I have a Seiko sporture watch, a Seiko body movement watch and a Seiko kinetic relay watch. All purchased in the last six months or so. I know most of you are less compulsive about watches so I have written this five steps guide to normal people:

1. Why do you want a new watch? What are the uses of the watch?

Your answer will determine which kind of watch you should look for.

For example, If you are diving, I would suggest you get a Seiko diving watch.

If you are a businesswoman, I would suggest you get a ladies Seiko watch and so on.

Yet, you must know that watches can do much more than telling the time nowadays. Modern watches may even have a GPS or a MP3 player embedded inside them. Some watches are actually mini computers.

2. How much money are you willing to spend on your new watch?

I would not suggest you to spend thousands of dollars buying a luxury watch (Rolex watches, TAG Heuer etc.). I do not think that luxury watches are a symbol of a person’s success. I think one of the discount Seiko watches should fit everyone’s budget.

3. Are you looking for an automatic watch or a quartz watch?

The difference, by the way, is that an automatic watch does not have batteries – it is getting charged by the physical movement of the wrist. I personally prefer automatic watches like the Seiko body movement watch and the Seiko kinetic relay watch.

4. Which firm should the watch belong to – Seiko, Swatch, Rolex, Omega or maybe a Replica watch?

You may have noticed that I am a big fan of Seiko. Seiko watches are the most reliable and have the quality of expensive luxury watches.

5. Where should you buy your new watch?

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — Nov. 25, 2009:

We have been through a period of the past seven months where the Lord has brought about astounding changes in our lives. He has done a work of bringing us into a complete and divine order, which seemed at the time to be really, really difficult because we didn’t fully understand what He was doing. He had to bring destruction in ways that would cause us to let go of the things that would hinder His plans and purposes for us. I’m not absolutely sure, but it looks like we are at the end of this re-ordering process. I believe this was confirmed as I experienced an unnatural fatigue as though I had completed a long and exhausting journey. Yet, when I awoke, I was completely refreshed and awake; not just awake from a night’s sleep, but awake and alert from a dark and deep spiritual sleep. And, I believe that we have entered a new day of heightened discernment and clarity together with a sense of release and purpose that will help us yield more completely and move unhindered in the flow of the Holy Spirit.

2 Timothy 1:14 That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

One may have awakened to the alarm at 3:00 AM.  One got up and began to prepare for one’s time with the Lord.  One’s mind may have been racing.  Many thoughts may have consumed one all at once.

One may have had a hard time trying to confess one’s sins.  One may have found oneself wandering off of what one was doing (confessing) and thinking about issues in one’s life.  One may have attempted to get back on track.  One may have asked the Lord for help.

One may have read the Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin for today.

One may have started one’s special time with praise to the Lord, with song.  One may have thought about issues and began to talk to the Lord.  One apologized to the Lord again for getting off track and continued on with one’s praise (singing) to the Lord.  One confessed one’s sins; which took up most of one’s time.  One thanked the Lord, for He has truly been good to one.  One prayed for the sick.

One left one’s prayer closet and logged onto the website to pray for outstanding prayer requests.  One may have felt good this morning and very hopeful while praying for the prayer requests.

Lord, I pray that your perfect will be done for each individual who submitted a prayer request, in Jesus’ name.  Thank you Jesus!

This is a list of things I love to find in others. I’m drawn to these things.

• Someone who is pretty outgoing. — I’m pretty shy, so I automatically like someone is willing to be the one to start the conversation… I’ll get unshy soon enough. (:
• Someone who is funny — obviously, I’m sure this is on most people’s list. But my sense of humor is a bit strange and most people can’t get into it. Its a rare thing when I have someone who really makes me laugh.
• Someone who has opinions! – I really love talking about real topics with people. I love hearing other people’s opinions and thoughts on things. Even if their point of view differs from mine. If they have reason to back up that view, I can be open-minded. I’ve hated in past relationships where I’ve asked for reasons behind their opinion, and the response was “idk, just cuz.”
• Someone who is good with directions– I think most of the people who know me, know that I suck really bad with directions. I barely know how to get to the places that I travel to on an everyday basis. I just don’t pay attention to where I’m going until I have to get myself there. So someone who knows how to get everywhere is a big plus in my book. I also appreciate someone who will let me be the passenger. I hate driving. (:
• Someone who is smart — I don’t expect a genius… I’d probably hate a genius. (I want to be the smarty-pants here) But I want to have someone who has good common sense. I also appreciate someone who can spell at least 85% of the words they write/type correctly.
• Someone who makes me try new things– Sometimes I get a bit too attached to my own little routine.. and if I have someone who can kick me out of that from time to time, it sounds like a great thing to me.
• Someone who will put up with my nonsense– I’m a crazy person. I get way too caught up in my head and it takes over my mood sometimes. I need someone who won’t get scared when the crazy comes out, and just reassure me that things are going to fall into place like they always do. Much patience is needed. I’ve been told I talk too much. :/
• Someone with good taste– I think it’s so boring when people are stuck on one type of music or … idk how to describe it, like, stuck in a stereotype? Hmm.. I just like it when people like a variety. Music is my best example. I want someone who will rock out and then chill out to some oldies… like me. (: ( and everything in between)
• Someone who doesn’t mind lazy days– I love lazy days. Being in bed, watching movies, PJ pants and blankets. I like these days. I usually like them more than days of being-out-and-about.
• Someone who gets my references!– a lot of the times I will make references to random little things I know, and people won’t have a clue of what I’m talking about. For example, references to old movies or songs. I know most people weren’t raised surrounded by the same music and stuff as me, but I just like it when I don’t have to explain those kinds of things… It kills it.
• Someone who has similar priorities to mine– I don’t like people who only chase money and screw everything else. Sure, money can be a priority, but for me, God, Family, Friends, and happiness need to be way higher up on that list.
• Someone who is straight-forward– I get irritated when people can’t just get to the damn point, or try to cover it up and hide things. Say what you want. Don’t play little stupid games. It’s not cute. I can handle whatever needs to be said.
• Someone who is good at being their-self– I don’t want someone who is a dime a dozen. I want someone who has their own mind. They are who they are, if you’re a geek, be a geek. Fine by me. Just don’t be somebody else. Also, I’m not saying a person who tries to just be weird different and “original” just for the sake of trying to be different from everyone else. There’s nothing wrong with enjoying some trends. As long as you’re being yourself.

So this is kind of like a “What I want in a relationship” list. Sorry. Totally didn’t intend on doing that.
