Compos Mentis means– of clear state of mind.  Generally, it means sane.  It’s Latin, I think it’s often used as a legal term.

Depuis de nombreuses années, Audiokeys est un vaste espace de discussions autour du Hi-Tech et des nouvelles technologies dans le domaine de la musique.

Qu’il soit amateur ou professionnel, débutant ou accompli, chaque membre y partage ses connaissances, ses expériences, ses coups de cœur et coups de gueule ou ses interrogations sur tous ces sujets.

Je contribue sur ce forum depuis 2003. Le nombre de membres actifs commençant à être conséquent, la décision a été prise de concevoir un album avec des compos de tous les membres le souhaitant.

Initialement prévu pour être annoncé pour la fête de la musique, de nombreux contretemps on fait que ce n’est qu’il y a quelques jours que cet album a été rendu public.

Une de mes compos réalisée pour l’occasion y figure (morceau 10 : Évolution). Je ne suis que moyennement satisfait du résultat de ce morceau. La fin est un peu bâclée par manque de temps, de même le mixage est assez rapide. Le concept de ce morceau est une version assez pessimiste de l’évolution de l’humanité de son balbutiement à un emballement (oui ça fait un peu pompeux dit comme ça !). Pour le matériel utilisé : Korg M3 avec l’EXB-Radias, Sonik Synth 2, ReTank, Minimogue VA (VoltKitchen) et Kajerhus Audio Classic Effects.

L’album est diffusé sous licence Creative Commons by-nc-nd, vous autorisant à le diffuser et le copier à condition de citer le nom des artistes, ne pas en faire une utilisation commerciale et ne pas modifier son contenu.

L’album est aussi dispo sur Jamendo (http://www.jamendo.com/fr/album/49711) mais je vous déconseille cette version, la qualité étant dégradée.

Je suis intéressé par tout commentaire concernant mon morceau (et l’album en général), qu’il soit positif ou négatif.

Créer un site avec la plateforme Wix, c’est comme un mélange de Piczo et WordPress. Avec un compte, on peut créer des centaines, voir des milliers de sites, avec pleins de thèmes… modifiables ! On peut même commencer à zéro. J’adore !

J’ai commencé une nouvelle compo qui devrait être terminée ce soir, ou demain… au plus tard vendredi, tiens ! J’ai décidé de me lancer un défi : écrire un solo de bass. Personnellement, je m’impressionne toujours de plus en plus. Je me dis plus souvent “HOLY SCHNAUZER ! C’est vraiment moi qui a écrit ça ? Débile !”

Bon, j’vous laisse parce que j’ai trop de chose à faire… comme faire mes devoirs, trouver des infos sur les sorcières de Salem, colorier l’Afrique (sans commentaire), pratiquer ma diction avec un bouchon de liège, pratiquer mes accords, ma lecture à vue et… me préparer mentalement pour mon premier cours de solfège… :S

Ce matin, quand j’ai allumé mon ordinateur, je suis aller voir si j’avais reçu des e-mails. Et là, je vois un message de la part d’un utilisateur de Free-Scores. Je l’ouvre. C’est écrit en anglais et là je me dis “Super… faut que je traduise dans ma tête en plus !” Mais quand j’ai fini ma lecteur, j’étais bouche-bée. Complètement.

Je m’explique.

Je me suis inscrite sur Free-Scores pour faire connaitre mes compos. Mais cette personne, L.Anderson, à décider d’improviser avec son saxophone sur le fichier Midi de Mysterious Man, une de mes premières compos. Il me demandait la permission de mettre en ligne sa version et il me proposait de l’écouter d’abord, chose que j’ai faite. Savez-vous ce que ça fait de savoir que quelqu’un apprécie assez une de vos compos pour être capable d’improviser en harmonie avec ? À moins de composer, vous ne le savez pas. J’avais un sentiment de réussite. Mais je n’avais encore rien entendu…

Quelques minutes plus tard, je reçois le e-mail tant attendu, celui avec le mp3 en pièce jointe. Je clique, j’enregistre sur mon ordi et ouvre le fichier. HOLY SCHNAUZER ! Moi qui voudrait être capable de composer une pièce jazz, c’est presque chose faite ! Le gars maîtrise tellement bien son instrument ! Au début, j’avais peine à y croire : “C’est impossible, c’est pas ma compo, je dois dormir debout !”. Mais non, tout cela est bien réel… heureusement !

Je vais mettre sa version sur ma page. Quand ce sera chose faite, je vous ferez savoir !

Juste un petit mot pour vous faire savoir que ma dernière compo sera bientôt en ligne sur ma page Free-Scores. Je l’ai envoyé il y a à peine 5 minutes, s’agit seulement que les modérateurs du site fassent leurs vérifications habituelles avant la publication. Le titre est “The Vibraphone Song”. Pas le titre le plus accrocheur que j’ai trouvé, mais au moins tout le monde comprendra qu’il y a du vibraphone d’utilisé… Elle devrait apparaitre dans le lecteur mp3, à droite de votre écran.

J’espère avoir vos commentaires, toutes compos confondues, directement sur Free-Scores ou, si vous ne trouvez pas comment (ce qui m’étonnerait), faites-le ici. Toute opinion constructive sera acceptée, la méchanceté gratuite, très peu pour moi !

Sur ce, je vais continuer ma nouvelle compo. Je suis en feu !!!

Eh oui, depuis 12h25, je suis en va-can-ces ! Fini le réveil-matin à 7h30 et les mathématiques a en faire une overdose… la belle vie, quoi ! En parlant de maths, je me suis surprise, ce matin, lors de mon examen : J’ai compris huit numéros sur neuf et le prof en corrige huit, alors je me porte merveilleusement bien psycologiquement parlant (bah, on verra si mon état d’esprit va changer quand j’aurai mon bulletin sous les yeux!).

Donc, j’ai enfin plus de temps à consacrer à mes compos et, évidemment, au blog ! Ma dernière “oeuvre” (si je peux me permettre de qualifier cette ébauche ainsi…) commence à prendre forme. En trente seconde, j’ai écris… 15 secondes. C’est long, mais ça en vaut la peine !

Si quelqu’un sait comment ajouter des fichiers mp3 ou wave à partir de mon ordinateur dans un article, que cette personne me fasse signe ! Mon geek de frère étant en stage à Longueuil, il ne pourra pas m’aider avant le week-end.

San Francisco at Crossroads Over Immigration

SAN FRANCISCO — In the debate over illegal immigration, San Francisco has proudly played the role of liberal enclave, a so-called sanctuary city where local officials have refused to cooperate with enforcement of federal immigration law and undocumented residents have mostly lived without fear of consequence.

But over the last year, buffeted by several high-profile crimes by illegal immigrants and revelations of mismanagement of the city’s sanctuary policy, San Francisco has become less like its self-image and more like many other cities in the United States: deeply conflicted over how to cope with the fallout of illegal immigration.

At the center of the turnaround is a new law enforcement policy focused on under-age offenders who are in this country illegally. Under the policy, minors brought to juvenile hall on felony charges are questioned about their immigration status. And if they are suspected of being here illegally, they are reported to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency for deportation, regardless of whether they are eventually convicted of a crime.

“We went from being one of the more progressive counties in the country to probably one of the least, and the most draconian,” said Abigail Trillin, the managing attorney with Legal Services for Children, a nonprofit legal group. “It’s been a total turnaround.”

Mayor Gavin Newsom, who ordered the new policy, disputes that characterization and ticks off a list of policies that remain immigrant friendly: the issuing of identification cards to residents regardless of legal status, the promotion of low-cost banking and the city’s longstanding opposition to immigration raids.

“I’m balancing safety and rights,” Mr. Newsom said. “And I’m taking the arrows.”

The policy was put in place last summer amid a series of embarrassing revelations about the city’s handling of illegal minors and even as reports arose of several serious crimes committed by illegal residents. The policy has led not only to dozens of juveniles in deportation proceedings, but also to criticism from the city’s public defender and members of its Board of Supervisors, which is threatening to relax it next month.

“I think the point of sanctuary is that you protect people and treat people the same unless they engage in some felony crime,” said David Campos, a county supervisor who came illegally to the United States from his native Guatemala when he was 14.

The new approach has pitted a growing coalition of immigrants rights groups against Mr. Newsom, who is running for governor in a state where immigrants, particularly Latinos, can be vital to being elected.

Mr. Newsom defends the policy as an effort to bring the city’s juvenile protocol in line with that for adult illegal immigrants, who have always been reported to federal authorities if they are accused of a felony.

But immigration advocates say the policy has too often swept up juveniles who are in this country illegally but who are innocent or held on minor charges, a list that includes young men like Roberto, 14, who has lived in the United States since he was 2.

Roberto, whose last name is being withheld at the request of his parents who are also in the country illegally, was handed over to immigration authorities last fall after he took a BB gun to school to show off to friends. He spent Christmas at a juvenile facility in Washington State and is now facing deportation to Mexico, where he was born.

The experience left Roberto shaken. “I was feeling really scared,” he said in an interview here.

Supporters of the new crackdown say that Roberto’s case is unrepresentative and that the majority of youths turned over to the immigration authorities have engaged in serious crimes, including those associated with the practice by Honduran drug gangs in San Francisco of using minors as dealers.

“A lot of them have histories; a lot of them are second, third chances,” Mr. Newsom said. “This is not as touchy feely as some people may want to make it.”

Mr. Newsom says he still supports the sanctuary ordinance, which grew out of worries in the 1980s about the deportation of Central Americans to war-torn regions. Made city law in 1989, the policy forbids city agencies to use resources to assist in the enforcement of federal immigration law or information gathering.

While proponents say such policies help the police by making immigrant communities — often suspicious of the authorities — more comfortable with reporting crimes, critics say San Francisco’s policy had been stretched to extremes, including the practice of occasionally flying some offenders back to their home countries rather than cooperating with immigration authorities.

Mr. Newsom says he discovered and stopped that practice in May 2008, and quickly ordered a review. Juvenile referrals began shortly thereafter and were formalized as policy in August.

In the interim, however, The San Francisco Chronicle reported that a group of teenage Honduran crack dealers who had been sent to a group home simply walked away from confinement.

A second event was more serious, when a father and two sons driving home from a picnic were killed in a case of mistaken identity in June 2008. The police later charged Edwin Ramos, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador and suspected gang member who had had run-ins with the San Francisco police as a juvenile but had not been turned over to the immigration authorities.

At the same time, San Francisco found itself under criminal investigation by the United States attorney for the Northern District of California, and city officials were eager to show that their city was not a lawless haven for illegal-immigrant criminals.

“If we start harboring criminals as a sanctuary city, this entire system is in peril,” Mr. Newsom said.

For their part, immigration advocates say they are not asking the city to shelter felonious youths from deportation. The problem, they say, is the point of contact: at arrest, rather than after any sort of legal adjudication.

“Even if you’re undocumented, you have the right to due process,” said Jeff Adachi, the city’s public defender.

The federal authorities, meanwhile, have been pleasantly surprised that the new policy has resulted in more than 100 referrals.

“We are now getting routine referrals,” said Virginia Kice, a spokeswoman for the immigration agency.

The most serious challenge to the policy is likely to come in July, when the Board of Supervisors is expected to take up a proposal that would apply the policy only to illegal juveniles found in court to have committed a felony. The measure’s sponsor, Mr. Campos, said he expected it to pass.

Such an ordinance would not help Roberto, who is still waiting to plead his case to an immigration judge. He said he had already learned a valuable lesson.

“I will never bring anything to school again,” he said.

Sinds ik weet dat ik niet mag opkomen voor Groen! op de Brusselse lijst en de Europese campagne nog niet is begonnen, zien mijn weekends er heel anders uit.

Ik heb tijd voor leuke dingen want ik hoef niet meer overal mijn smoel te laten zien!

Zo deed ik gisteren een natuurwandeling in het moeras van Ganshoren  , het Boudewijnpark , het Laarbeekbos en het Poelbos onder leiding van een zeer goede gids: Erik Meerschaut.Met name het moeras van Ganshoren zou al lang verdwenen, opgedroogd en gebetonneerd zijn als eind jaren zeventig vele actievoerders en enkele  politici het rapport van de Club van Rome niet ter harte hadden genomen, en – met de wind in de rug van de eerste oliecrisis – niet hadden gezegd: STOP!

Ook onze eigen Alain Beeckmans, geboren en getogen Ganshorenaar, heeft als schepen voor Groen! zijn steentje bijgedragen aan de bescherming van deze waardevolle zone. 

Dank zij de evoluerende mentaliteit zijn de opeenvolgende drie fasen van het Boudewijnpark nu een mooie illustratie van het verschil tussen natuurbeheersing (fase I en II) en natuurbeheer (fase III).

Zeker voor mijn medewandelaars uit Vlaanderen was het een verrassing dit hoekje vrijwel ongerepte natuur (die in feite door mensenhand teruggegeven is aan de natuur en nu in de hand moet worden gehouden om niet geheel te verwilderen) binnen de hoorbaar nabije Ring te ontdekken.  

Zondag tastte ik dan weer in mijn eigen Brusselse binnentuintje de grenzen af van natuurbeheersing en natuurbeheer.

Ook mijn tuin, hoewel een stuk kleiner dan het Boudewijnpark, is in fasen aangelegd.

Niet alleen de evolutie van mijn mentaliteit maar ook die van de leeftijd van mijn kinderen heeft voor verschillende methoden van aanleg en onderhoud gezorgd.

Sinds zij niet meer voetballen op een groene zakdoek kan ik het gazon een beetje laten verwilderen.

Onderhoud blijft evenwel nodig.

Omdat de weersverwachtingen voor de hele week regen zijn, heb ik vanmorgen compost uitgestrooid om het gras te voeden voor het voorjaar.

Wat is er mooier dan je eigen compost door je handen te laten gaan?

Wetend dat deze donkerzwarte geurende aarde een jaar geleden nog een hoop groenafval, papieren zakken, koffiedik, eierschalen en verknipt snoeisel was!

Na het zeven blijven er takjes, steentjes en stukjes eierschaal over en pikzwarte fijne aarde die ik uitstrooi over het gazon.

Een zeer bewerkelijke methode want om een zo fijn mogelijke compost te krijgen, doe ik schepje voor schepje op een zelfgemaakte zeef.

Maar mijn gras is mij dankbaar.

En ik mijn compost.

Want ik doe aan natuurbeheer! 

En die vieze dikke pad die overwintert in mijn compost heb ik voorzichtig een paar centimeter verderop met modder toegedekt.

Peut-être le savez-vous déjà, mais je compose. Oui oui ! Bon, j’avoue que c’est pas des chefs d’oeuvres mais… faut bien commencer en quelque part !

Fundadores da SOCICOM, em Natal, setembro de 2008

Instalado oficialmente no dia 1 de dezembro de 2008, na cidade de São Paulo, o Conselho Deliberativo da Federação Brasileira de Associações Científicas e Acadêmicas de Comunicação – SOCICOM – aprovou o Plano de Metas da entidade para o biênio 2008/2010, priorizando ações que focalizam a presença da academia no espaço público, mas destacando a difusão da produção científica brasileira no âmbito mundial das ciências da comunicação.

A SOCICOM foi fundada em Natal (RN), no dia 2 de setembro passado, sendo constituída por 12 associações nacionais do campo comunicacional,  incluindo as entidades representativas das áreas disciplinares (Jornalismo, Relações Públicas e Cinema), bem como os espaços interdisciplinares (história da mídia, cibercultura, folkcomunicação, economia política da comunicação).

A liderança da federação foi confiada aos representantes das duas maiores e mais antigas associações da área  – o presidente José Marques de Melo (INTERCOM) e a vice-presidente, Ana Silvia Médola (COMPÓS). Os demais cargos da diretoria estão ocupados por representantes de entidades mais recentes – a diretora de relações internacionais – Margarida Kunsch é presidente da ABRAPCORP; o diretor de relações internacionais – Elias Gonçalves Machado – é ex-presidente da SBPJOR e a diretora Anita Simmis é presidente da ULEPICC – Brasil.

No ato da sua instalação, o Conselho Deliberativo da SOCICOM elegeu o fundador da ULEPICC, César Bolaño, como seu presidente para o biênio 2008/2010, que por sua vez convidou Betânia Maciel, presidente da FOLKCOM, para ocupar a função de Secretária da primeira reunião ordinária.

Espaço público

Dentre as ações substantivas da nova federação, duas metas foram destacadas no plano nacional: 1) diálogo com representantes do Estado -  MCT, MEC,  CNPq, CAPES, Ministério das Comunicações, ANATEL – e da Sociedade Civil – Academia Brasileira de Ciências, SBPC, ANJ, ABERT, Fórum Nacional para Democratização da Comunicação, etc.;  2)  Acompanhamento de assuntos relacionados com a área de Comunicação, ao longo dos próximos dois anos, através das audiências públicas na Câmara, no Senado e nos Ministérios. No âmbito internacional, a focalização orienta-se para atingir três alvos: 1) Interlocução mais intensa com a comunidade internacional da área, 2) Fortalecimento da Comunidade Ibero-Americana de Ciências da Comunicação,  3) Disseminação do Pensamento Comunicacional Brasileiro no exterior. O primeiro passo para alcançar objetivos dessa natureza é a realização, no Brasil, em 2010, do I Congresso Mundial de Comunicação Ibero-Americana – ORBIAMERICOM.

A fundação da SOCICOM teve a participação de doze associações nacionais, devidamente instituídas:  Sociedade Brasileira de Estudos Interdisciplinares da Comunicação – Intercom; Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação – Compós; Associação Brasileira de Pesquisadores em Comunicação Organizacional e Relações Públicas -  Abrapcorp; do Fórum Nacional de Professores de Jornalismo – FNPJ ; Associação Brasileira de Pesquisadores em Jornalismo – SBPJor ; União Latina de Economia Política da Informação, Comunicação e Cultura – Seção Brasileira – Ulepicc-Brasil; Associação Brasileira de Ciberecultura – ABCiber;  Associação Brasileira de Pesquisa em História da Mídia – Alcar; Associação Brasileira de Pesquisa em Folkcomunicação -  Folkcom;  Associação Brasileira de Jornalismo Científico – ABJC; Sociedade Brasileira de Estudos de Cinema e Audiovisual – Socine; e Fórum Brasileiro de Ensino de Cinema e Audiovisual – Forcine.

Although to be honest, the bins are only 90% done. I still need to pick up a bit more lumber- 5/4 x 4 to finish off the side slats, and probably two more pieces of 5/4×6 to rip down into my sliding panels for the fronts of the bins. My friend Thadd came by this weekend to help me finish the project, and he agreed that they may be a bit overbuilt: “Those aren’t compost bins, those are compost bunkers.” While I disagree that they can double as a tornado shelter, they’re pretty stout.

Since I had a pressing need for the bins, they’re already in use. The bale of straw sitting to the left of the composter (bunker?) was purchased for Halloween. After just a few rainstorms, it’s started decomposing beautifully. I took a chunk of the bale and spread it around the bottom of the bin. The straw will take a good while to break down- it’s primarily carbon- so it’ll help provide space for air flow under the kitchen scraps. On top of this, I’ve started dumping our kitchen waste. Once the mud dries out a bit, I need to start transferring in material from the old compost heap. That will get added in layers- partially broken down kitchen and yard waste, finished compost, and a little bit of soured straw for air flow. I’ll also mix in my “compost inoculant,” cheap dog food. Alfalfa meal is a great source of nitrogen to kick start the decomposition process, but it’s expensive to buy it from the garden center. It’s a lot cheaper, however, to buy it when it’s the primary ingredient in dog food.

So what can go into the compost pile? Standard practice says that virtually anything can go in except meat and meat byproducts (bone, connective tissue, animal fat), dairy, and anything excessively fatty, like oils or nut butters. Small quantities of vegetable oils or nut butters are ok, but too much will gum up the pile and make it hard for the compost critters (microbes) to do their job. There are some hardcore composters who successfully handle meat and dairy, but I’m reluctant to go there. My bins are on the property line, so if something goes awry and starts smelling funky or attracting vermin, my neighbors will suffer.

Yard waste is also a great source of compost material. I’ve got a backyard full of leaves that I need to mulch with the mower, and they’ll get added to the mix. You could add them whole, but they tend to mat together and form a layer that takes forever to break down. Weeds are an obvious addition, but you need to be aware that if your pile doesn’t get hot enough, you won’t kill the weed seeds. Grass clippings are a great source of nitrogen, but ideally they should be spread out next to the pile to dry out for a few days, then added. Otherwise, you’ll end up with a slimy, smelly, anaerobic mess.

As for branches and clippings from pruning, they should be chipped up before adding to the pile. Otherwise they’ll take a long time to break down. I’m stockpiling all my brush and clippings, since we’ll need stuff that will burn quickly for the oven. Which- that’s the next project!

1. Jorge Campos – Pumas UMAM
Jorge Campos adalah kiper andalan Meksiko. Kelahiran 5 Oktober 1966 ini sudah mencatatkan 130 caps bagi timnas. Tahun 1989 Campos teken kontrak dengan klub Pumas UMAM sebagai seorang kiper. Tapi karena perfoma penjaga gawang klub itu, Adolfo Rios, sangat bagusCampos tak pernah berdiri di bawah mistar. Malah, dia diturunkan sebagai serorang penyerang. Pada musim itu pemakai kostum bernomor sembilan tersebut menyumbangkan 14 gol!

2. Lucas Radebe – Leeds United
Pemain kelahiran 12 April 1969 ini mengawali karir sebagai kiper klub Kaizer Chiefs. Namun tak selamanya dia menjadi penjaga gawang. Mulai tahun 1991, dia menjadi seorang gelandang. Di timnas Afrika Selatan dia menjadi bek. Tahun 1996, dia mengantarkan Afsel merebut Piala Afrika. Dia pun tampil di Piala Dunia 1998 dan 2002. Saat bergabung ke Leeds United tahun 1994, dia menjadi seorang gelandang sebelum akhirnya ditempatkan sebagai bek tengah. Berkat kepiawaiannya, dia pernah menjadi kapten Leeds pada musim 1998/99.

3. Tony Read – Luton
Musim 1967/68 Tony Read menjadi kiper andalan Luton Town. Posisi itu bertahan sampai awal tahun 1970-an. Setelah cukup lama membela Luton, Tony hengkang dari klub ini dan bergabung dengan Exeter City. Di kedua klub itu, Read bermain sebanyak 203 kali. Tapi saat membela Exeter dia tak selalu berdiri di bawag gawang. Dia kadang mengobrak-abrik pertahanan lawan. Menurut catatan, Read berhasil menyarangkan bola ke gawang musuh sebanyak 12 kali.

4. Matt Taylor – Exeter City
Saat mengantarkan klubnya Burscough merebut Piala FA tahun 2003, Matt Taylor masih menjadi penjaga gawang. Ketika hengkang ke Team Bath pada 2006, dia menduduki posisi bek tengah. Posisi itu terus berlanjut, bahkan saat dia mulai bergabung ke Exeter City pada 2007. Mantan pemain England Univeristies ini terikat kontrak sebagai bek di Exeter City hingga 2010. DH

TINS (TINS Is Not Speedhack) have recently finished. During the competition you have to create a game within 72 hrs. I didn’t manage to finish my game,  but I have done _something_. It is barely playable, but I hope you’ll find it interesting. The package in the link below contains a binary along with source code. Movement is mouse only.

Durante a Intercom 2008, que ocorre nesta semana em Natal, estaremos apresentando o trabalho “Análise de citações dos trabalhos da Compós 2008″. Trata-se de um estudo bibliométrico que apresenta, entre outros dados, os autores, títulos (trabalhos, livros, capítulos) e periódicos mais citados nos trabalhos apresentados na Compós deste ano. Para a realização da pesquisa, foram analisadas as 2111 citações encontradas nos 120 trabalhos apresentados.

Os resultados dessa pesquisa – desenvolvida em parceria com Ida Stumpf, Gilberto Consoni e Stefanie Carlan da Silveira – serão debatidos no MULTICOM: III Colóquios Multitemáticos em Comunicação, na tarde desta quarta-feira. Lá estaremos ao lado de Maria Immacolata Vassallo de Lopes e Richard Romancini, que fizeram um estudo semelhante com os trabalhos da Compós 2007. O professor Luiz Martino, da UNB, apresentará uma discussão dos resultados apresentados.

A Tabela 1 descreve o volume de citações em cada Grupo de Trabalho (GT), separando os autores citados por nacionalidade (“misto” significa que o trabalho citado foi escrito em co-autoria por pesquisadores nacionais e estrangeiros).

A tabela abaixo mostra os autores mais citados na Compós, descontadas as auto-citações.

Na Compós deste ano me dividi entre os GT’s de Cibercultura e Estudos de Jornalismo. Um dia pra cada, pra sentir as discussões… Ano passado, em Curitiba, me envolvi nas discussões do GT de Jornalismo e adorei. Esse ano não foi diferente, mas essa coisa de escutar um pouco de cada coisa tem seu lado negativo.

No primeiro dia acompanhei o Alex (no estudo sobre o Interney Blogs, que me foi pessoalmente – e teoricamente – interessante…) e a MC (que apresentou um texto sobre folksonomia e recuperação de informações na web 2.0). Além deles, o texto do Vinícius (UERJ) sobre ambientes midiáticos e uma discussão interessantissima da Fernanda Bruno (UFRJ) sobre dispositivos de vigilância digital chamaram muito minha atenção… O dia encerrou com um menino da UFPE, o Marcelo Benevides, discutindo auto-regulação e controle na Wikipédia, tema de interesse da Aline na verdade!

Por conta disso, ao não estar no GT de Jornalismo, perdi a discussão do Sean e os debates sobre jornalismo digital – concentrados no primeiro dia… Também não pude ouvir a Raquel, que estava apresentando um artigo no GT Comunicação e Sociabilidade e, ainda, o meu colega, Daniel, que discutiu a temática da dissertação em um texto apresentado ao GT Comunicação e Política.

Por falar em colega, a presença dos discentes da UFRGS foi marcante este ano: pelas minhas contas, 15 pessoas, entre mestrandos e doutorandos!… Legal, isso.
