I discovered this amazing little girl two years ago while watching a British competition and I have listened to her gorgeous voice ever since.In 2007 she was only six years old but she managed to impress to entire UK with her out of the ordinary voice at a singing competition, “Britain’s Got Talent”.One of the judges even said he was sure she was “inch for inch, pound for pound, the best six years old singer in the world”.Ever since, she launched three albums, the latest one was launched just two days ago(13th of October) and had the opportunity to travel all around the world.And everywhere she went she was told what a beautiful voice she has. I know you might be thinking about the fact that I recently disagreed with another child who became famous through singing but I assure you that their voices are incomparably. It’s incredible how talented she can be.Her voice is a gift from God without doubt. Here’s a sample of what Connie Talbot could do at the age of seven:

I Want to dedicate the next few blog posts to Real Talent in this world. So many talented people that have walked on this Earth and either lacked recognition or were not recognized until their deaths. Thanks to the internet, we have the ability to recognize them as soon as they appear.

Connie Talbot-Over The Rainbow

After seven days of being in a slump of severe boredom, I feel this update should be EPIC.

For starters, I’m nixing my Wednesday posts… Words of Wisdom come and go as they please–and coming up with them on a scheduled basis seems to be more work than I feel like putting up the effort for, XP.  So, Mondays and Fridays will turn into the new Wednesday and Sunday posts–just ’cause I feel like it, haha.

Secondly, I lazily missed my “Monday” post–and the more I think about it, I’m rather glad.  Just ten minutes ago, I finished probably one of the best movies I’ve ever seen.  Honestly.  I will even go as far as to count this as Movie of the Week for TWO weeks (and no, it’s not to indulge my laziness at posting on Wednesday, XP).  This week’s movie is:

In my book, Baz Luhrmann strikes again–another movie of his being another favourite of mine (Moulin Rouge)–Australia was brilliantly written and filmed.  Leading talent, as well as the supporting cast, were captivating in every way.  Luhrmann’s charming beginning–almost “farce-y” to set the mood–takes a nice pace into the center of the story, and its development is compelling.  Though (one small note), Nicole Kidman’s performance is slightly reminiscent of “Satine” from Moulin Rouge and “Ada Monroe” from Cold Mountain (Baz Luhrmann meets romance-based war movie, obviously), her work has always entertained me and I never take her talents for granted.  And as for Hugh Jackman… well… I’ll be seeing him on the Broadway stage come autumn–need I say more???  Nevertheless and overall, this movie was a spectacularly touching and addicting movie, .

And FINALLY… as I had missed this past Friday’s vid, I’m going to make it up AND throw in another for my brand new Sunday-scheduled post, XD.

In honor of my newfound love for Australia, you could say, is this video–”Rod and Hugh.”  Taken at the 2004 Tony Awards that Jackman had hosted, he was there to (if I’m not mistaken) present an award and / or host with “Rod” from Avenue Q, played by John Tartaglia.  This is the riotous mass of insanity that ensued for just about a minute and a half (LMAO)…

And finally (for real this time, XP), also to follow back on Australia, this is an audition for Britain’s Got Talent by a remarkable six-year-old girl named Connie Talbot.  She’s so brilliant, in fact, she stunned both Piers Morgan (the toughest judge on America’s Got Talent) AND the judge everyone loves to hate, Simon Cowell.  (If you have seen Australia at all, you’ll understand the connection between the two videos, ;D.  If not–you’ll just have to suffer, XP.)  Just watch…

Og så var det nå slik at jeg skulle sove trygt i min røde stol by now, men nei, sånn ble det ikke. Jeg så en episode med Sexual Healing, noe litt for “sterkt” for meg der, men mye veldig lærerikt og fint. Programmet fikk meg faktisk til å smile, jeg ble glade på deres vegne, og jeg ble glad over å se hvordan ekte forhold var, hvordan de vanlige forholdene er. Så hoppet jeg over til youtube for å smile litt mer, og jeg så på Connie Talbot og Natalie Okri fra Britain’s Got Talent. Og disse to små jentene greide å fylle hele meg med glede og et stort smil. Deretter begynte jeg å tenke over hva, eller mer HVEM, får meg til å smile, og jeg kom frem til at når jeg ser at Britain’s Got Talents dommer Simon Cowell smiler, ja da smiler jeg også. Jeg fant ut at jeg smiler når voksne smiler, det gjør meg glad, og når barn smiler. Kan ikke helt huske om jeg blir glad når folk på min alder smiler, hvis du lurer så er jeg født i 90. Jeg smiler i alle fall når vennene mine smiler, men hvor glad jeg blir vet jeg ikke, noe som er litt rart, jeg burde jo være glad når vennene mine er glade. Right? :/

Men nu går jeg å legger meg, før Alicia Keys tar over sjelen min for godt i natt.
