It may sound all too much like other doomsday scenarios of recent decades — the 1987 Harmonic Convergence, the Jupiter Effect or “Planet X.” But this one has some grains of archaeological basis.

One of them is Monument Six.

Found at an obscure ruin in southern Mexico during highway construction in the 1960s, the stone tablet almost didn’t survive; the site was largely paved over and parts of the tablet were looted.

It’s unique in that the remaining parts contain the equivalent of the date 2012. The inscription describes something that is supposed to occur in 2012 involving Bolon Yokte, a mysterious Mayan god associated with both war and creation.

However — shades of Indiana Jones — erosion and a crack in the stone make the end of the passage almost illegible.

Archaeologist Guillermo Bernal of Mexico’s National Autonomous University interprets the last eroded glyphs as maybe saying, “He will descend from the sky.”

Spooky, perhaps, but Bernal notes there are other inscriptions at Mayan sites for dates far beyond 2012 — including one that roughly translates into the year 4772.

He was the first Republican President of the century. Most people were surprised at his getting elected; many people are dismayed. A handful of people were concerned with election fraud and wanted it investigated – it never was.

Soon, he maneuvered the country into a war of aggression against a foreign sovereign nation, claiming it was in the national interest that this war should be undertaken. The reasons given were suspect, but he was able to override the opposition through political pressures and intimidation. Soon the Congress was reduced to a rubber-stamp for all his policies.

He considered the Constitution a bothersome piece of paper and generally ignored it. Those in the press that opposed his actions or spoke out against them were ridiculed, branded traitors or ‘un-American’, or arrested for sedition – or worse.

Habeas corpus was suspended. Intelligence forces began looking at the citizenry to weed out all pockets of opposition. The reason being given was homeland security, searching for alien infiltrators. People were arrested without recourse to due process – many without charges even being brought against them – some of them were held for years.

His re-election brought even further outcry of voting tampering, which brought even further government retributions. To all that opposed him, he proclaimed that he was being guided by the hand of God and he alone had been entrusted with the decisions of guiding the government.

He alone was the decider.

Does all this sound a little familiar? It should, because it happened. It is not the script from some new Hollywood epic or the outline of an exciting new blockbuster from Dan Brown. This story is true and it did really happen.

If it sounds familiar to you, then I suppose you know a little of the history of America. The time was 1861 and the President was Lincoln.

The fact that all this was repeated with President Bush causes one to wonder if there may be other reasons for the astonishing parallels in the two historical periods.

Have we been “played” again?

Queen Elizabeth II addressed the Commonwealth leaders meeting in Trinidad and Tobago yesterday by urging the heads of state to lead on climate change.  She told the delegates:

“The threat to our environment is not a new concern but it is now a global challenge that will continue to affect the security and stability of millions for years to come.”

Not known for her fanatical, unconventional ideas, it seems that even the Queen of England can be duped by the lefty, liberal, radical, nazi, communist, terrorist, world-wide conspiracy of scientists trying to fool everybody into believing that the burning of fossil fuels is affecting our environment, and that the window of opportunity we, as a global community, have to act is swiftly closing.  Those lefty/liberal/nazi/communists/terrorist scientists are obviously in it for themselves.  And the corporations that make money from all of us burning those same fossil fuels are pure as the driven snow, wanting nothing but to save us from these nasty people trying to gain financially from pulling the blinders over our eyes and getting us to swallow anthropogenic climate change whole.  These corporations want to help us out of the goodness of their hearts. It’s not like they having anything – like billions of dollars in profits every year – to gain by continuing along this path that we are currently on.  Nope, not them.  It’s those nasty scientists getting rich off of us suckers.

New Jersey Sen. Robert Menendez wants to put a dead man on trial in a U.S. civilian court. Menendez has told CNSNews that Osama bin Laden should be brought to justice and prosecuted in civilian court, where he will most certainly be convicted.

“When we catch bin Laden, should he be Mirandized? Should he be read his Miranda rights? If there’s going to be a civil proceeding, the attorney general said it wouldn’t matter,” Matt Cover of CNSNews asked Menendez.

“As far as I’m concerned he should be prosecuted, brought to justice, and hopefully – and I fully expect – convicted,” declared Menendez.

CNSNews asked the question after Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina grilled Obama’s attorney general on how the administration would handle terrorists caught in the future. “If we captured bin Laden tomorrow, would he be entitled to Miranda warnings at the moment of capture?” said Graham.

Eric Holder wasn’t sure how to answer Graham’s question. He said it “all depends” if Osama bin Laden would be read his Miranda rights. Holder’s apparent confusion is rather perplexing coming from the top cop in the country.

Graham understands the law better than Obama’s attorney general. “Well, it does not depend,” Graham replied. “If you’re going to prosecute anybody in civilian court, our law is clear that the moment custodial interrogation occurs, the defendant – the criminal defendant – is entitled to a lawyer and to be informed of their right to remain silent.”

Not that Graham believes accused terrorists deserve a day in court. He believes Holder is guilty of “making bad history” in his decision to send Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his supposed co-conspirators to New York for trial in civilian court.

THREE Australian experts are making waves in the medical community with a report suggesting swine flu may have developed because of a lab error in making vaccines.

“It could have happened in a lab where somebody became affected and then travelled with it,” virologist Dr Adrian Gibbs said yesterday.

Conjuring up a vision of Frankenstein’s fictional monster fleeing the laboratory, he added: “Things do get out of labs and this has to be explored. There needs to be more research done in this area.

“At the moment there is no way of distinguishing where swine flu has come from.”

The research, published in the Virology Journal on Tuesday, was compiled by two former researchers at the Australian National University – Dr Gibbs and programmer John S. Armstrong.

Dr Jean Downie, once the head of HIV research at Westmead Hospital, was also involved.

The article claimed the swine-origin influenza A (H1N1) virus that appeared in Mexico in April has at least three parent genes which originated in the US, Europe and Asia.

“The three parents of the virus may have been assembled in one place by natural means, such as by migrating birds, however the consistent link with pig viruses suggests that human activity was involved,” the research found.

Within two days of them publishing their findings there were more than 16,000 downloads of the article.

“What we wanted to do was instigate debate about this again because we still don’t know the source of this virus,” Dr Gibbs said.

The research suggested more tests be done on laboratories “which share and propagate a range of swine influenza viruses”.

It said that if the virus was generated by laboratory activity it would explain why it had “escaped surveillance for over a decade”.

Dr Gibbs said it was not the first time lab errors had been made, with evidence foot and mouth disease in England had been born out of a lab mistake and circumstantial evidence that Spanish influenza in 1918 and Asian influenza in 1957 reappeared decades later because of mistakes.

“Measures to restore confidence include establishing an international framework co-ordinating surveillance, research and commercial work with this virus and a registry of all influenza isolates held for research and vaccine production,” the report concluded.

Fatal cases of Hemorrhagic Pneumonia related to the H1N1 Swine Flu are spreading throughout the world.  A huge number of H1N1 deaths have been counted in the last week.  Martial Law has already been declared in the Ukraine.  What country or state is next?

The viruses were isolated from the first two fatal cases of pandemic influenza in the country and one patient with severe illness….Worldwide, laboratory monitoring of influenza viruses has detected a similar mutation in viruses from several other countries, with the earliest detection occurring in April. In addition to Norway, the mutation has been observed in Brazil, China, Japan, Mexico, Ukraine, and the US….The mutations appear to occur sporadically and spontaneously. Say what?  If the mutated virus is not spreading how is it being traced to numerous countries?  If the earliest detection was occurring in April, why were there no alarm bells going off? Or maybe they were, and you just couldn’t hear them.

Today, November 27, 2009 report from WHO says, “In the United States and Canada, influenza transmission remains very active and geographically widespread. In the United States, disease activity appears to have peaked in all areas of the country. The world’s most populated country is China where they are on high alert for any mutation where H1N5, Bird Flu has been seen.  Zhong Nanshan, director of the Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Diseases in China’s southern Guangdong province, said the presence of both viruses in China meant they could mix and become a monstrous hybrid — a bug packed with strong killing power that can transmit efficiently among people.  “China, as you know, is different from other countries. Zero Hedge at http://www.zerohedge.com/article/cdc-h1n1-forced-quarantine-docs-leak wrote, “the fall H1N1 pandemic may be a convenient pretext by which dangerous levels of expanding social control can be established by elites which have proven themselves utterly corrupt and morally bankrupt.”

Meanwhile, “If vaccines strengthen the immune system (as vaccine makers imply), then why do people who take such vaccines end up at higher risk of future infections? The only rational explanation for this is that vaccines compromise immune function. Yesterday , an official report by the Irish government was released which showed decades of child abuse by Roman Catholic priests against young children . This includes both sexual and physical assaults by the priests . Many victims reported the crimes to the Irish police , the Garda , and also the Roman Catholic hierarchy and were totally ignored until so many cases came to light that it was impossible to keep the lid on the scandal . This has followed similar abuse cases against the Catholic church all over the world , especially in the United States . The report , especially blames four Archbishops , three of whom are dead and one is in very ill health and is unlikely to be prosecuted . For a quick precis of the report click Sky News .

The Catholic church has attempted to pass these claims off as individual cases and only the responsibility of the local parishes . The Vatican expresses regret to the victims but shrugs its shoulders and implies every organisation has its bad apples and its just one of those things . It is not one of those things – the Vatican is totally responsible for the cover up of the cases all over the world and the present Pope is up to his neck in it . If the cases had properly been dealt with, thousands of young children would never have been abused by those in authority . To conceal a criminal act is a crime and the Vatican has deliberately set out to cover up these abuse cases .

The Crimine Solicitationies , a secret Vatican decree , was issued in 1962 by the then Pope , John XX111 to all senior Catholics . It lays out the policy in cases of impropriety which their priests may be accused of . It orders a vow of silence , under threat of excommunication and details no punishment against the perpetrators and instead recommends they should be moved to a new parish . The Vatican claims this document relates to cases involving the confession , but this is palpable nonsense as can be seen from article 73 of the document which states :

 ” To have the worst crime , for the penal effects , one must do the following : any obscene , external act , gravely sinful perpetrated in any way by a cleric  or attempted by him with youths of either sex or with brute animals (bestiality ) ” .

It is obvious what this refers to and the Archbishops in the various countries involved in this understood it perfectly and carried out their instructions to the letter . For the full report click Crimine Solicitationies .

In May 2001 , a letter was sent to all bishops telling them that the Crimine Solicitationies was still current and the cover up instructions in the document should be implemented . This letter was signed by Cardinal Ratzinger , currently Pope Benedict XV1 . The Garda should be on the first plane to the Vatican , with an arrest warrant for the Pope whatever the diplomatic storm this may cause . In any language , this has been a deliberate and sustained policy over the decades to hide criminal activity within the Catholic church and those responsible should have to face what they have done , whatever their position . Maybe then , the victims will be able to start living their lives again .

Lon Glazner, who writes “Commission Impossible” dealing with local issues, had written up a pretty good summary on the issue, so I asked if I could print some excerpts of it. He gladly obliged. Here are excerpts from his post “Men behaving badly“.

What’s the hubbub? It all comes down to men behaving badly. Emails and files related to top scientists that support man made global warming theory were released in the hacked files. These scientists have authored/co-authored many of the studies relied on by the UN IPCC, and world governments. The studies have been used to pronounce global warming an immediate, and therefore taxable, threat.
Here are some of the highlights of the documents released.

1. The scientists colluded in efforts to thwart Freedom of Information Act requests (across continents no less). They reference deleting data, hiding source code from requests, manipulating data to make it more annoying to use, and attempting to deny requests from people recognized as contributors to specific internet sites. Big brother really is watching you. He’s just not very good at securing his web site.

2. These scientists publicly diminished opposing arguments for lack of being published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. In the background they discussed black-balling journals that did publish opposing views, and preventing opposing views from being published in journals they controlled. They even mention changing the rules midstream in arenas they control to ensure opposing views would not see the light of day. They discuss amongst themselves which scientists can be trusted and who should be excluded from having data because they may not be “predictable”.

3. The scientists expressed concern privately over a lack of increase in global temperatures in the last decade, and the fact that they could not explain this. 4. The emails show examples of top scientists working to create public relations messaging with favorable news outlets. It shows them identifying and cataloging, by name and association, people with opposing views. These people are then disparaged in a coordinated fashion via favorable online communities.

What the emails/files don’t do is completely destroy the possibility that global climate change is real. They don’t preclude many studies from being accurate, on either side of the discussion. And they should not be seen as discrediting all science.

Kudos to Anthony for being there, online, and being prepared to handle the traffic this topic generated. I would hope that this event would precipitate a greater openness regarding publicly funded research. It would be nice to see better adherence to scientific method. At the very least it has exposed some well funded, ivory tower thinkers, behaving very poorly.

I should mention that we all owe Lon Glazner a debt of gratitude, because it was a discussion with him on the science and engineering of thermometer systems that got me thinking about the surface measurement systems in place today used to record climate, and the problems they might have.

IMHO

The worst thing to come out of this is what seems to be a grand conspiracy of Scientists begging for funding from big business and big governments and the corrupt businessmen with thier carbon emission markets and corrupt politions with thier carbon taxes!! All at best completely negligent and driven by greed and at worst a bunch of fraudulent swindlers.

It has done NOTHING for ENVIRONMENTALISM!! If anything it is making things worse. REAL ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS like GM foods , and pesticides and battery farming and the polution of our water and air supply and the polution of the seas with chemical nitrate fertislisers are being completely side lined by this Carbon Emission Tax FRAUD!!

Is Timothy Conway Going To Hell? Tal Brooke Thinks So.

It is extremely perplexing why PhD Timothy Conway (a true-believer in Gurus, Enlightened Masters, Mystics, Hinduism and Eastern Philosophy) cited Tal Brooke (an Evangelical and Fundamentalist Christian) as an authority and reference against Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

In Tal Brooke’s book “Riders Of The Cosmic Circuit, The Dark Side of Superconsciousness”, he attacked Hinduism, claimed that enlightenment is an evil path and that God-Men and Gurus are in a state of perfect demon-possession. Therefore, Timothy Conway’s reference to Tal Brooke has amusing repercussions against him, his beliefs and his advocacy of Gurus, Enlightened Masters, Mystics, Hinduism and Eastern Philosophy.

One could similarly cite Tal Brooke as an authority and reference against Timothy Conway’s promotion of “demon-possessed” God-Men and Gurus and the evil paths of enlightenment they promote through sinful Eastern Philosophies.

Since Tal Brooke heavily relied on subjective, fanatic and religiously-based arguments (which all originated from Brooke’s LSD-induced hallucinations) to draw his conclusions that Gurus are in a state of perfect demon possession and that enlightenment is an evil path leading to Satan, what does this say about the integrity and objectivity of his claims against Sathya Sai Baba?

Why does Timothy Conway cite this type of person as a credible and reliable source for his disinformation campaigns against Sathya Sai Baba? Apparently, PhD Timothy Conway doesn’t mind compromising his own beliefs to further his smear campaigns against his former guru.

Timothy Conway not only shot himself in the foot, he also shot the feet of innumerable gurus, saints and sages that Tal Brooke believes to be demon possessed! If Tal Brooke is so worthy of being referenced against Sathya Sai Baba, surely Tal Brooke must be worthy of being referenced against other Gurus as well.

On thing is certain, Timothy Conway won’t be citing Tal Brooke in his two new books eulogizing and praising over 40+ gurus! If it impacts Timothy Conway’s money-driven bottom line, “suppress, distort and deny” seems to be the name of the game.

Not many people seem to remember the big news story on 9/10/2001 because of the timing it was released (obviously the day before 9/11). Do you? I’ve often wondered about the status of the promised investigation of it… there is no status because there never was an investigation… just an announcement to cover Rumsfeld.

In a nutshell, Donald Rumsfeld (then Secretary of Defense) announces that the Pentagon (whose ?accounting? offices were destroyed the next day) could not account for $2.3 TRILLION – purportedly 25% of their budget although if you add up the Congressional appropriated defense budget from 1996 to 2001, you only come up with $1.6 trillion. That in itself is an investigative story… But… what about what they admitted to??
